Well, I grew up in Ohio and then from Ohio for the sake of getting out of Ohio, I went to Florida. When I lived in Clearwater, Florida, I ended up meeting Hulk Hogan at a at a grocery store that I worked at. And um as some time went on, he ended up uh giving me a job offer to come work at his beach shop. So, I worked at Hulk Hogan's beach shop. I think for about a year and it was cool. I was on Clear Water Beach. >> So, this initial call came out as uh two men fighting. One of them threw a tire iron at some point. Um this is all third info, but we've got officers on scene right now. We're starting to get people out of the house. So, first we're going to make sure everyone's safe and second we're going to try to get to the bottom of the the fight. Looks like they don't have a bean bag over there. Give a couple more tools. >> We know you're inside the house. We just need to make sure everybody's okay. Please come outside with nothing in your hands so that we can talk to you. Again, this is the Mesa Police Department for 5116 East Downey Street. You're inside the house. I need you to come outside with nothing in your hands. >> I'm moving up to get the uh the old lady. >> I'll hold lethal in the door if you guys want to grab her. >> I got left. >> All right, we're we're going to go down to the end of the driveway. Come on. >> I got you. Okay. way. I'll give her some space as she walks through. >> So, we're staying here. >> That's a seat. Yes, ma'am. >> It's dry. >> Finish carrying her. >> Take her somewhere safe. Okay. >> Back over that way. >> All right. One, two, three. >> Let's go around this car. Yeah. So, there was an argument >> and a fight. So, we're here to make sure everyone's okay. >> How many people are inside? >> Police department street. You I believe you have a brother or attempting to call you right now. Roman is trying to call you. So pick up the phone. >> That's his mother. >> Someone let him in. So they since we weren't getting compliance from inside, they sent him in to do a welfare check on his brother and we asked him to give us a thumbs up if everybody was okay and didn't need any help. So he came back out and gave us a thumbs up. So we're breaking this down now. So >> we'll carry you back over. >> All right. So we're going to do kind of the same thing. Okay. >> Ready? >> Oh yeah. camp. >> I got you. I won't drop you. [snorts] >> Yep. There you go. [snorts] >> Back inside. >> [snorts] >> So, I know you were over there on that uh primary team. >> Yes, sir. >> What was What did you have over there? >> Um, so what it sounded like from those guys since we got here a little late was we're just going to do a welfare check on them uh with the allegations of somebody having a tie iron thrown at them. I think they were worried that somebody was beat up in there. So, >> okay. >> Uh, their plan was to call them out and, uh, you know, make sure they're okay, talk about what happened. >> Okay. So, do we have at the end of it like do we have anything? >> No. So, uh our suspect never came out for a welfare check and to be interviewed. So, uh we're wrapping this one up. We're going to walk away. >> So, this call was an interesting one. Um initially what we were going to was an allegation of aggravated assault. U another guy throwing a tire at someone. Um very little info, but that's what we had going into this. So when we get those types of calls, we have to approach them in a certain way. We have our guns out, we have our IIA teams, our contact teams, and we do all these things in order to make sure that not only the involved people are safe, but also the surrounding community. Um, in this circumstance when we had some people from inside the house come out, our level started to drop a little bit because we realized, hey, these these people that are coming out from this house aren't really talking about what the neighbor called in and saw. They're not saying that there's an active fight. So, our level starts to drop a little bit. Ultimately, our goal at this point now is to make sure everyone's okay. We had the mother of one of the parties that lives there was not able to walk very well, didn't have a wheelchair. So that's why we ended up carrying her in in a chair cuz she was unable to walk. Our goal at that point was still to ensure her safety in case something happened while we were trying to contact these other two. Um, in this case, looks like no one's uh we weren't able to establish that any crime happened, which is why we ended up walking away. So, we're responding to a two-day old infant not breathing. >> We're pretty close. Um, these types of calls, anyone that's in the area is going to go to it. See if we can save the baby. Police department. Hey, where is he? Hey, number go to primary. Go to hospital. >> Okay. >> Uh Humphre's going to be followed the hospital. So, if you feel discuss, >> are you going to the hospital? The the baby and the father are going to be transported to the banner desert. We've got the mother and the other child here that we're going to um talk to. Baby's doing okay. Uh got a good heart rate, good oxygenation in the blood. Um so, they're going to just obviously make sure the baby's uh uh doing fine on their own. Um see if we can figure out what caused this. Hadn't been eaten, so they woke him up to try to feed. and then wasn't feeding. Um uh heard some like troubled breathing and then the baby stopped breathing. >> So that's when they started compressions obviously called us. >> Um and then when when me and Dorson got here, >> do you know bottlefed or >> bottlefed? Bottlefed. >> So when me and Dorson got here, Dorson took over. Compressions, fire was pretty much right behind us right when we all showed up. >> It's wellkept. Nothing safety concern wise that I saw. Did you see anything? >> No, everything looked fine. It sounded like the baby had a lot of ambiotic fluid when he was born. And um mom said he was on the couch with dad, been having a hard time feeding, and then he started to have a hard time breathing. It started turning funny colors and they called right away. >> What's up? >> How's mom doing? >> She's fine. She seems like she's handling it well. >> The little small fry up there. >> Small fry is chilling. His nose is no different. He was breathing kind of and he had a pulse. So, I just figured I'd clear any blockages if he had any and keep him going. >> That fire was right >> and Yeah. Then they came up and took over. >> How are you? >> I'm fine. >> You good? >> Yeah. >> That changes, let me know. >> Thank you. >> Yeah, it's gone. It's gone the other way. So, we're responding to a subject's disturbing call. Um there's a couple units that are in routes, but it looks like our parties are kind of separated. Um we're nearby, so we're going to go try to contact him and see what's going on. >> What are we on? >> Uh just stay on the phone with me. >> Okay. So, you don't know this guy? >> No, I >> Give me a description one more time. Okay. About 40 or 50. >> Uhhuh. >> Grayish hair, gray hair. >> Uh he uh had black shirt with like a towel wrapped around with a big black bag. >> Uh pants. Uh what color pants? >> Red jacket. I think he had >> red jacket. >> Where was the red jacket on or just wrapped around him? >> Round him on. I I don't remember if he took I think he took it off. >> So we got a subject that's possibly matching our suspect. Seems like there might have been an assault that occurred. Uh so between our real-time crime center uh and the air unit, it sounds like we might have our the suspect located in a business. So we're going to go over and try to contact him. >> What's going on today? >> Um this gentleman pushed me earlier and then he told me that he was going to call the cops on me. I never touched nobody. I swear I didn't touch nobody. I was assaulted. Okay. What's your last name? >> Well, we confirm this is our guy. >> Where you coming from today? >> Um, I just came from the dispensary. >> Okay. >> Do you know who that guy was that pushed you? >> I met him today. >> Okay. What's his name? Do you know? >> Um, Anthony, I believe is was his name. I don't know his last name. Okay. >> Why'd he push you? >> Because I bought a gram of chatter and I just wanted chatter and he said he bought me the joint and I told him I didn't want the joint. And he's all you told me before we went in here you wanted flour. I said, "No, bro. I told you to sit down at the >> at the seat and wait for me to come outside." He said, "I took too long in the bathroom." So he went in the head and then yeah, he took my money and pushed me, ran across the street, said he was going to call the cops. >> I didn't do anything. >> Is there any reason that he's saying that you pushed him and you hit him? >> No. >> Why would he be saying that? >> He did those things to me. >> I understand. >> I was the one that assaulted you. >> 15. >> Go ahead and put your hands behind your back. Just relax. >> Just relax. >> Can we call light probation, officer? >> Just hold on a second. Okay. >> I'll explain everything to you in just a minute. Okay. >> So, I don't know if you know what's going on. You have a warrant for your arrest. Okay. >> I know. Can you call my probation officer? >> Well, they're the ones who issued the warrant. >> Stop. >> Stop turning on. >> They're the ones who issued the warrant. Okay. >> Well, no. She said she had I'm telling you right now, she issued the warrant. >> She said she had it out for me. I needed to call her. I just need >> Well, this is Listen, this is security appearance. >> I think that's >> Okay. So, what we do is once the warrant's confirmed, >> we'll get you in front of the judge. That all be handled. Okay. >> But we we just called my probation officer tonight. We can handle this. >> That's That's not how we operate. Okay. Once the warrant's issued. Okay. It's a different story. >> You could you could have called your probation officer before this. >> This wasn't supposed to happen. >> Well, did you know you had a warrant? >> Did you know you have two warrants? >> Two warrants? No, not two ones. >> Well, it's two. >> She and she told me that >> is a Frank PCSO. The other one is a Phoenix. >> Anything on you that's going to stick me, poke me, stab me, or harm me in any other way? >> No, I do have a pipe in my right pocket. >> Okay. Is it broken? >> No, it's a metal pipe. My joint, which you charge me 23 bucks for. But it only costs eight. >> Is that the pipe you were talking about? >> Yeah. >> That's for marijuana. >> Yeah. TC. >> If anything illegal makes it into the jail, it's a class two felony. Okay. >> Yes. >> We'd like to avoid that. So, if you have anything that we missed, tell us how. >> No, I'm pretty sure we got it. >> All right. You thought about that for a long time. Are you sure? >> I just scan up and down. >> Okay. You're good. Nothing on you. We're clear. >> Okay. Do you have anything illegal in your bags? >> No, nothing. I just got those bags. >> Okay. Go take a seat belt. [music] [music] [music]
