All right, let's dive in. On December 6th, 2017, in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, USA, a Broward Sheriff's deputy responded to an apartment and encountered Gene Pedro Pierre. Within moments, a routine call turned into a tense confrontation that spilled into the courtyard. >> What's your name? Say it again. Say it again. What is your [ __ ] Hey. Hey, hey, 94. Send 94. Just tell me what is wrong. >> What's wrong with you? >> I don't know. You just tell me, >> dude. They're coming. Let go of my leg. Let go of the leg. Don't come. Don't come over there. Okay. All right, we won't. You tell me what is the problem. >> A second deputy rushed in and repeatedly ordered Pierre to stop. According to authorities, Pierre continued forward, leaving the deputy only seconds to react. Three shots rang out and the confrontation immediately came to a halt. Don't Don't reach for >> Don't reach for anything. Copy. Copy. I don't have nothing. I reach it. >> As the officers tried to secure the firearm, Johnson resisted and a struggle followed.
