so as we know throughout fushia County you have these illegal gambling houses that are popping up all over uh and it's like playing whacko we'll go in with a season theist order they'll temporarily shut down or they'll change locations and open up in another venue today after an extensive investigation that began over a year ago actually two years ago we were able to Fan out across the county and hit 11 of these illegal gambling facilities and people say ah what's the big deal well the first thing is casinos are regulated here in Florida these places are stealing your money all of these facilities are set in neighborhoods where people are elderly poor and living on a fixed income on top of that when you look at the crime that's generated in and around these places drug deals overdoses armed robberies burglaries these places are an a veritable Hive of criminal activity and lastly we know for a fact that proceeds that are not being taxed are being sent to funding our enemies and the legislature needs to make a decision either you're going to make it legal and regulate it or you're going to shut it down because if it looks like a duck quacks like a duck and acts like a duck it's a dck
