Oh, sorry. How's it going? >> We're not talking outside. >> Hi. >> Hi. >> There's dirt on the floor. >> So, I just wanted to talk to you like face to face. So, I didn't know what I should do. Um, my mom came home and put her hands on me >> and she choked me out in my closet and my aunt, her sister came over and picked her up and she my aunt came in and looked at me and told me that I should do this, but I told her that I was scared cuz it's my mom. I just didn't know what I should do, like if I should tell you guys where she went or like what I should do. I mean, we can't tell you what to do. It's completely up to you, but since it's a domestic situation, um the state is going to pick up any charges of based off of what happened. >> So, if if there was anything happened like if we placed her under arrest for something, you will normally never go to court before it like normally they'll just call us and then we testify on your behalf. So, like we'll we gather statements. Um we have what's called the domestic leaison on. She comes out here, she speaks with you, she talks to you about getting help if you need any. Uh she gives you plenty of resources. So as far as confrontational wise with your mother, mother, correct? >> Yeah. >> You don't really ever have to really see her again. So if she did go to jail tonight, normally they'll put what's called a no contact order. She >> Well, what she's trying to do is she's trying to run. We're from Hot Springs and she just instantly left and she's trying to go to Hot Springs and get completely away from the situation. And so I thought while she's in Grabbit, maybe I should call. I don't know what I want to do, but I know that I can't just have her come back. I don't even know if it happened like 30 minutes ago, but she >> trying to session. >> Yeah. Not going to close your eyes. >> She came in and just completely went all on my neck and scratched my face, but I've been crying. So my face is red already. other than the neck. Did she hit you anywhere up here? >> Oh, she grabbed my face. That's all I know. But I started crying. So, I don't know if you can see her. If it even made a mark at all, but >> Well, we'll just take pictures of just your entire face that way. >> That is very bright. >> I'm sorry. >> You got kitty? Yeah. >> So, um, >> this has never happened before, so I didn't really Obviously, I don't want to put my mom in jail, but I can't have her come back after putting her hands on me or >> Absolutely not. No, >> I just don't know. >> Is this your residence? Like the primary? >> Well, we both pay the bills here. >> Okay. Who's on obese for? >> We're both on police. >> Okay. Does she primarily stay here? >> She does. That's her. >> So, do you know where she's going right now? at Hot Springs, but >> she's going she's at her sister's house right now and she's going to Hot Springs to her boyfriend's house. I guess they're meeting up and picking her up. >> It's in Grabbit. >> Do you have um ID that we can get from you? >> I do. >> It all started off with her. She's bipolar and she takes a lot of medicine for her mental illnesses and she came home from work and just started getting irritated with Maddie and I told her that I don't like the way that she's talking to her and she completely lashed out on me and she called her boyfriend and it went from there and when I got on the phone with him and tried to tell him like >> hey she just came in here to try to calm down to talk to you but she was just lashing out on us in the kitchen and had a bunch of names and then that's when she corned me in my closet and put her hands on me and I told her to get off of me and she said no. >> So she chased you down into the closet. >> In my closet, yes. And pushed me up against my clothes and my aunt came in here and basically said that she was just going to take her to her house and that Will was going to meet her and that she thinks I should call the cops. And I told her that I don't want to do that. And then I'm just sitting here looking at myself in the mirror and I'm like, is that what I should do? So >> absolutely when she was trying to could you breathe >> off with >> Are you the victim? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm just sitting here talking to you. >> Do you know the address your mom wants you? >> No, I can text the my aunt though. >> You guys want to come in? >> Sure. Sure. He's just here to observe. though >> is just you lubby boy. >> Sorry for >> Oh, you're okay. >> Still haven't Christmas either. >> The only thing I was asking about when she was running, did you feel like you could breathe or >> I was able to ask her to get off of me, so I asked her when I could, but I was just very scared. Um, I've never had that happen to me before, so I didn't know what to do. >> Did you feel like it was choking you? >> She was. She had both of her hands on me. >> Was it restricting your airway in any way? >> Yeah. And she grabbed my face really bad. I mean, it's honestly like I tried to block it out, but she was so on me. She knocked her glasses off. Like, she was strangling me in my closet. >> Okay. >> And Okay. I've got a possible name for Grabbit. She's apparently >> okay. >> Hey, I have them here right now. >> Is that what I should do? [Music] [Music] Well, I don't know. I I called them and I just told them I honestly just wanted to speak to an officer face to face just like because I've never been through this. So, I just wanted to talk and see like what I should do. They said they can't tell me what to do like what I should do. So I mean at this point we are going to have charges since you struggled with us. >> Yeah. >> At this point since you've spoken to us we are going to charges. So regardless of what you want to do since it's a domestic situation they're >> Does that make sense? regardless of what I want to do >> because like he was like officer Thurman was saying even though we are taking it and we are pressing charges they're not going to reach out to you we will testify on your behalf does that make sense >> I kind of just did I just wanted to talk I didn't know if I really wanted to conduct to her >> I know but now that we have we are required by state law that They're they're a domestic incident. We have to bring charges. >> The state requires it. The state the state is pressing charges at this point. >> Yes. >> So it's not you pressing charges. It's the state pressing charges at this point. >> Do you hear him? >> Yeah. I didn't know it would go like that. I just wanted to talk to them cuz I didn't know what I should do rather than just sitting here upset. [Music] They want yours. >> Yeah. Um, is your sister there still currently? >> Yes. >> Yes. >> We were going to take her to go like halfway to meet her boyfriend, but we're not now. So, that's why I called Hay was to make sure. >> Okay. >> So, um, yeah, we'll probably have somebody go out there um in reference to this. >> Um, if if if that's okay with you. Yeah. I mean, you guys absolutely do what you have to do. >> I I appreciate it. Um >> No, I appreciate you. Thank you. >> Yeah, no problem. I'm going to give you back, too. >> All right. >> Well, obviously that sounds very scary, but I mean I don't know. [Music] [Music] [Music] Is that I mean, did I do the right thing? Like, is that what I'm supposed to do? [Music] [Music] Well, she took my Yeah. [Music] All right. >> So, you didn't you did absolutely the right thing. Okay. I know that it doesn't feel like that right now, but nobody should be putting their hands on you at all. Okay. Especially with your daughter, you know, standing wherever she was at. That's not okay. So, restricting somebody's airway is is a little different than pushing somebody or or getting upset. That's a whole another thing. That's not okay at all. So, you did absolutely the right thing. All right. Don't think that Don't think that you're the bad guy or anything like that. >> It's just my world. >> I understand. But that's not okay. Being your mom, she should know that she shouldn't be putting hands on you like that, >> right? Would you do that? Would you do that to her? >> No. So, what does a domestic charge mean? >> So, she's your mother. So, this is a domestic situation at this point. >> I know >> you guys are are relating. So, it's a domestic charge, which uh I have to look at it, but it's going to be a aggravated assault charge for street airway. So, what they're going to do is just get in contact with Gravit. Grab go over there and have someone talk to her. They're going to come in, have you fill out a statement form, and they're going to have you uh answer some questions off a questionnaire, okay? And then they'll go from there. the state will pick up the charges on that. >> So, I have to go to court or >> uh I'm not sure the whole process on on the court side. Um we just deal with with this side. >> How long does a um aggravated assault like how long is she in jail or >> Yeah, she'll go to jail tonight. >> Like how long for aggravated assault? >> Well, there'll be paperwork drawn up. She'll have to see a judge and then she'll get released at some point cuz she won't be allowed back over here. So, she'll have a bond rec set and she can make bond and then she can get out but she won't she won't be able to come here. >> But this is her this is our house. >> Okay. Well, she won't be able to come over here. >> So, she has a um >> you'll be a protected >> restraining order here from >> be an order of protection against you. So she or well you'll have an order of protection against her and she won't be able to come over here. So she'll have to figure something out. If she needs to come and get stuff, she'll have to get in contact with the sheriff's office and they'll have to come out and um do a civil standby while you're gone so she can get some of her stuff and then she'll have to figure out what she wants to do from there. >> I don't know why. I just feel horrible. >> Well, you shouldn't because nobody should do that to you. You're the victim here. Not not her. So >> obviously it really scared me and >> Mhm. >> I just felt like she was just trying to run from the situation. And >> what was the situation to begin with? What what happened tonight? >> She came home from work and she was irritated from work and irritated with her. And I told her that I didn't like the way she was talking to her. And then she called me a narcissist. She told me called me a lot of names and then she called her boyfriend and when I got the phone from her to talk to him cuz she came in there and tried to calm down to talk to him but she was out here yelling at us. So I was like, "Hey." Like she was just in here yelling like, "She's not telling you the truth." And she came and chased me with her to get her phone into my room. And that's how we ended up in my closet with her grabbing me and trying to get her phone and choking me out in my closet even though I begged her to get off of me. And then at that point, she went outside and I called my well her she called her sister and my aunt came inside and she told me that this is what I should do. So when she left, that's what I did. Well, obviously, like I said, I just feel really bad. >> Well, you shouldn't. Like I said, that's it's not okay to do to somebody. So, especially with with a child nearby. So, it's it's not okay regardless, but >> I feel like it prevent it's preventing something from getting worse. An eyeopening experience for her that she was in the wrong Obviously, I mean, nobody wants to go to jail. So, >> no, no, that's not our goal is to take people, but when people do things that they deserve, >> I didn't know that like >> it was like up to you guys. Like I thought I could just talk and see like what protocol to take or whatever. But >> well, and it if this was you and a neighbor got into it and had an argument, that's different. >> But it's family. >> But when it's a domestic situation, especially you guys living together and all that, then the state takes the charges. And there's also going to be an endangering charge since she was present for the incident. So, where was she at? In the closet with you guys when it happened or right outside the closet? >> Oh, in the living room. >> Yeah. >> Was she near you guys at all when any of it was going on? No. >> I know. It's Yeah, it's hard. We got a county unit going to check out the >> Is she getting paperwork? >> Yeah. >> Did she get photos yet? >> Yeah, they did. >> Okay. What did How did she take them? >> Looked up last night. >> Did she stand back here and or did she just take a picture of them now? >> She took them up close and then she took a full one stepping back. Looks like she did. >> Okay. >> No, you took one her entire face. Was your daughter near? >> She was in a live near. That's what he just asked. >> Okay. Did she witness? >> I don't know. >> Not sure. But she was close by. >> She was here. Yeah. >> Living room. Then where did it start? >> We She came home from work and we were in the kitchen and started out how she was annoyed from work as she always is. She's bipolar and has medicine that she's not taking right now because she doesn't have her insurance >> until February. And um I told her I didn't like how she was talking to Maddie and she lashed out and called me a lot of names. She always calls me a narcissist. And then she called her boyfriend and it was very crazy how she her demeanor changed and she calmed down and quiet quieted herself to talk to him. And I grabbed the phone and I was like, "Hey, like this is not what happened." Like she was just in here lashing out at me and yelling and I'm not gonna let her tell you that like that's how it happened. And then when I grabbed the phone to tell him that, she was chasing me in here in my room and that's how we ended up in my closet. >> That right there. >> That's my room. Yeah. >> Okay. Okay. So, she was very very close to all this. >> Maddie. >> Yeah. Um, so I do have to give you this. This is pretty much a bunch of resources if you need them for domestic violence. >> I feel so guilty. >> I know, but she had no business doing that. You know what I mean? Like it is not okay. >> Like it's not what I wanted to do, but my family told me that's what I should do. >> I just feel so bad. >> That's our grandma and stuff, you know? just next to me. >> Better right to feel that way. >> And I don't know like how long she'd be in there, you know? It's just I've never been through this. Like >> would it make you feel better if I told you how long she would be in there? >> How long? >> So when she gets arrested, um I don't know if that's going to be tonight. I don't know if she's going to take off if I know your aunt tells her that the cops are on their way. Um, but if she gets arrested tonight, um, she'll be transported to Benton County Jail and then she'll be there up until she goes to bond hearing. That could take, you know, between 24 and 48 hours. Um, >> until she goes where? >> You said bond where? >> Bond hearing. >> Oh, bond hearing. >> She'll she'll go in front of a judge. The judge will give her the no contact order, which means that she will not be able to come back here due to the charges. >> I don't know how I'm going to pay these bills by myself, you know, that's there's a lot of good resources in here and that's why we get them out because there's a lot of incidents that we come to where they rely on that other person from as well. So, >> she pays the rent, I pay the bills, so it's just hard. >> Yeah. Um there's also the women's shelter and you can there's questions that I got to go through with you know this required as well um to mitigate like see how severe the situation is. Um but you are more than welcome to always contact the woman's shelter. They have a lot of extra resources as well. Um, I even have resources if it comes down to it where, you know, my daughter's dad passed away, so it's just it's like I have no help. >> I I have resources as well where, you know, if it comes down to paying a bill or food, you know, I I can give you resources where you can access free. Um [Music] but um you know she would have bond here and the judge would set her bond after no contact order and it would be up to her seeing if she was able to postpone which just means pay for it and get out of jail. What is a aggravated assault longterm? How much is that? So, I already thought what was going to be a felony based off of the restriction of your airway. That automatically makes it a felony. Um, and it really just depends on the prosecutor. We we have to get in contact with the prosecutor and see what their bond recommendation to give to the judges. It's up to the judge on his own to set the bond, but we contact the prosecutor when we do our paperwork and they give us a bond recommendation to give to the judge based off of the charges. It's hard to say. >> It's hard to say what the bond is going to be because it's completely up to them. We don't set that. just walking in. You said that you weren't really wanting like charges press and all this other stuff. My thing is you got to think about her. I understand bipolar issues and stuff like that. I know she's got her medication times tough. Um but she doesn't need to be around that at all. I mean a girl her age, even a no matter what, she doesn't have to witness her mom getting hurt. Um, even seeing you like that, I'm sure she's confused. She may not understand it. And as far as the whole thing goes, I know it's your mom and I know it sucks, but you got to think what's best for her. I mean, you really want her around here. And I know that you guys said that you're splitting rent. I'm sure it's going to be expensive. But I'm hoping that the resources that we provide are able to help you guys out enough to get you where you need to be at in life because I don't want to see that struggle. I don't want to have anybody out of their homes just because of an incident. But you don't deserve to have your mom put her hands on you at all. Strangling you, that's terrifying. Cuz you know what? If what if she went too far and she took it one step higher than just strangulation? It's it's a sad thought, but it happens. It happens all the time. It happened not too long ago with a son and his mom. So, we just want to see >> and that's why the state steps in and what you want. It does seem like it, you know, we aren't considering what you want, but it is to protect you because there are so many incidents that have happened where unfortunately it does get worse and people do die because they stay in that situation. >> And um I I do have a lot of resources if if you want them I can give you that are outside of this. Um but I do have to just collecting the rest of my paperwork. >> Um, >> would you be willing to give a statement just a summary of like what happened? What you told us what happened? >> Do I have to? >> It would be beneficial. >> If you don't if you don't want to fill them out, you can just write, you know, refuse to refuse to fill out this stuff and you can just provide. I mean, everything was recorded here. You don't want to fill it out, you don't have to fill it out. We're not going to force you to. We're not going to put the pen in your hand. you need to sign. If you're uncomfortable doing it, we're um >> I mean, I understand why she lashed out cuz I mean I took her phone and tried to talk to him and but I just didn't think she put her hands on me like that is all. >> But even I mean >> arguments are arguments. It never justifies >> why I'm making myself look so guilty. Like I'm feel >> I mean it's your mom. Hey, it's completely understandable. I mean, you're 19, Chris. So, I mean, you're still super young to you. I mean, your mom's supposed to be there to be, you know, a caretaker to help you out. I mean, supposed to cherish and love you. And then she does something like this. It raises something else. It's not normal. And, you know, that's why we're here. That's why we stand up for people that are in these situations. But if you don't want to fill that out, that's completely okay. We can put that aside for now. If you do change your mind, that's completely okay, too. We're not going to force you. Um, we do have other paperwork that we're just asking questions. Um, it's yes, no, or I don't want to answer. >> Okay. >> And that's completely okay if you don't want to. >> Do you want medical to come check you out? >> No. >> I don't know. We've asked that yet. So, >> it's completely >> It is. >> No, I'm okay. >> Okay. [Music] How do you spell your first name? >> I don't know why I feel so guilty. >> Like I feel horrible. >> Jessica, >> I thought it I mean That's awesome. >> Has your mom ever used a weapon against you or threaten you with one? >> Has she threatened to kill you or your child? >> No. Do you think that she will try to kill you? >> No. Has she ever tried to choke or strangle you? >> Yes. >> Has she done it previously? >> No. >> It's always more like verbal. Like we we do have good days and then we have bad days and we just mesh together and get into it. But it is horrible for Maddie for to hear the way that we talk. >> Yeah. >> In an argument. >> Um is she violently or constantly jealous? >> Jealous. A lot of these questions are structured for uh like people that are in actual like relationships. >> So I I have to ask them >> the the term jealousy. I mean it can be literally anything. The car you drive, the food you eat, she's jealous of anything. >> Yeah. Things that you like to go do. Like it can't it can't. >> As weird as it sounds, there's some people that say yes to that. Um, does she control most of your daily activities? >> No. I mean, we do I mean stuff together, >> but we do our own thing at the same time. >> Yeah. >> Have you ever left or separated from >> Does she use illegal substances or have heavy? >> No. Is she unemployed? >> No. >> Has she ever tried to kill herself? >> No. I know. >> Um, I'm going to assume that you don't have a child that she believes is not hers. Um, does she follow spy or leave you for any >> I'm going to assume? But has she ever forced you to perform? >> Is there anything else that worries you about your safety? >> Nothing. >> Like I said, I never thought that it would go that well. >> Yes. What sucks the most is that I was working overnight at a nursing home and I just quit 3 days ago cuz my boss was overworking me and I was working seven days a week and I was waiting to hear something back from my other facility. That's just what's stressing me out so right now. That's what you >> What? >> I don't hear a lot of good reviews from >> Apple Creek, but Apple down the road that might be a similar >> I'm just a PCA. >> Okay. I know they put people through school, but do you like RNA? Yeah. >> We should take them out. I I will say I've not heard best reviews from people that work there, but it's close to home. >> Yeah. >> And you can push >> I don't think so. [Music] >> Are you currently pregnant? >> No. You said your mom used both of her hands when she was driving. It was more her trying to get her phone back for me, but then it became like, "No, I'm not letting go." You know, not 19 years old, you know. >> Yeah. Do you know how long you was >> honestly like just a very >> I don't know like I couldn't give you a minute or anything. I don't know. >> I just met you and then I called you and I opened the door and ran out of room and we ended up on top of my bed and then she finally got her phone coming and >> she just looks very crazy. like after she got off me and like I looked at her like >> um feeling any pain. >> No, I mean I just feel >> Is she shaking while she did that? >> Was your head hit in any way? >> Is it right here? >> Right here. The only one you >> on a scale of 1 to 10, how would you >> That was right there. >> Say the pressure. >> I think so. >> It was more the grabbing. I mean, it wasn't. >> Good job. >> I feel like I was blacked out in the moment. So, I don't I would just have to say zero. I can't give you an accurate right there. Okay. >> Um, >> look at that. >> Would you be able to get like a 1 to 10 scale of like the pain right now? >> Like in the moment? >> See, it goes right there. >> Right. >> Yep. >> I guess. [Music] >> But you did not lose consciousness. >> No. I was just begging her to get off with me. >> Oh, I >> was there a time where you could not talk or scream all while >> snake. That's scary. >> Was it difficult for you to breathe? >> Is it? >> On a scale of 1 to 10, what is what was your ability? >> Might have to some other ones in there. >> 10. I was still screaming. So, I was breathing for sure. >> I don't know where it goes. >> Do you have pain while breathing now? >> It's just the scratches. [Music] >> Um, shower breathing. >> Huh? Are you experiencing shallow breathing any >> rapid breathing? >> Yeah, it does. [Music] >> What? Was there anything significant that your mom said after >> throwing stuff at me? She was just yelling a lot of stuff. >> I hate in like arguments and stuff I can't remember, you know? Like it's just a lot in the moment. Obviously, I wish that's not how our night ended up. >> What did you think was going to happen? >> Did you think it was going to escalate? Did you think it was going to be worse? >> Christmas. >> I was just worried about Maddie coming in. Um, I didn't know >> if she was going to let go or pull my hair or like >> get up and come back or I didn't I don't have >> like I said, I understand she was mad that I had her phone trying to tell him the situation, but I just didn't I don't accept that that's how she tried to get it back, you know? picture of you. >> Mhm. >> Um, was there anything that caused the attack to stop? >> To stop? >> She got her phone. >> Can you describe her demeanor and her facial expressions? You kind of touched on it already. >> That's cool. >> She just >> like she like she was like super. >> You got to get to it. That was when she was in my closet. >> And then her other demeanor was when she tried to call him and go in there and say, "I don't ever see." I don't know. Like it was just a mind game for me. Like I do have anxiety and I struggle with depression from losing her dad and she was just like, "Oh, she never understands." And it was just I don't know. It was messing with me cuz I do everything to keep myself above water and keep myself from not. >> Mhm. >> Right here. >> Uhhuh. >> I don't know. >> Right here. >> Nope. Right there. >> Right here. >> I got from the >> right there. >> Right here. >> I think so. >> Your mom have access to fire. >> No, we don't have anything else. >> I messed them up. >> We don't have a license to carry or nothing. No. >> Nope. >> Any faintness? >> No. I'm just thirsty right now. >> Are you disoriented? >> No. >> Do you notice any loss or changes in the vision? >> No. >> Would you say that your voice is worse? No. >> Do you have difficulty speaking? >> No. >> Do you have any loss or changes in hearing? >> No. [Music] >> Does it hurt to swallow? >> No. >> Do you have trouble swallowing? >> No. >> Is your throat sore? No, >> just my skin. Oh, what is that? [Music] >> Um, what about like next? It's just my skin. >> Like it's just feels like it's burning. >> You dropped something. [Music] >> You dropped it. There it is. >> It's a mustache. >> You having coughing? >> No. >> Nausea? >> No. >> Any vomiting? >> You look silly. >> Did you have any like involuntary >> or You got a mustache. >> Is there any other symptoms outside of the >> Sorry. >> Oh, you're fine. She got that for Christmas, so she's only playing with >> now. Um, would you be willing to fill out a statement? Like we've said, you don't have to if you don't want to. If you're overwhelmed right now and don't feel comfortable doing it, that's okay. >> I would just You can tell the judge I refused to give the papers. >> That's okay. >> I just want to ask before we head out of here. Um, did you want any other resources that I had? Um, >> yeah. >> Yeah. >> Typically, we'll there will be another lady that'll come out here and follow up with you. Her name's Frankenstein. She's a lot sweeter. She doesn't come I don't think she wears a full uniform anymore. She may be unrecognizable, but >> she essentially just comes out here to talk about that and get you the help you need if you do need it cuz she's a lot more experienced with all that stuff and she knows all about it. >> We're just kind of giving the cards and supposed to let you know, but she does the in-depth talks. Yeah. Yeah. Just let us know. Okay. >> All right. >> Excuse me. >> Thank you. I'll be right back. You understand why you're being arrested? >> Yes. You guys are just doing this job. I understand. >> I've never been arrested before. So, whatever you want me to do. >> Okay. Look, I'm going to read you your rights and I want to talk to you about what happened. Okay. Yes. >> But you can tell me to kick rocks if that's what you want to do. Um, you can turn around, face me, >> I like to do it right. I got a little Q card. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to speak to an attorney and to have an attorney present during any questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you at government expense. Knowing and understanding your rights as I have explained them to you. Are you willing to answer any questions without an attorney present? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, what happened? I understand that I see the injuries. I see the the strangulation lean against your >> You can even sit down if you want to. >> Okay. Yeah. >> Um, I got off work today and my camera on and the girls were like outside. >> Okay. >> And the house was kind of in a mess and I was a little upset about that, but that's it. A mountain of clothes on my bed. So, I took it upon myself, went ahead and folded a few clothes and I got the whole load of clothes put away. They're still outside. So, I'm putting away stuff, being productive. We're in the kitchen. I put away the dishes. I'm not done with like the dishes. And they both come in and we do our greetings. You know, my grandbaby hadn't seen me all day, so she's, you know, hi, Nene. Said, "Hey, baby. How's your day?" Kayla starts talking to me and kind of didn't stop talking, which is okay. It's normal. Um, as she's talking to me, Maddie steps back to the back bedroom in her room and she's screaming at the top of her lungs, "Needy, needy." And Matt Kay's steadily still talking. So, I kind of cut Kaye off and scream, "What, Maddie?" I probably said more irritated, though, like what, Maddie? And Kayla just went off on me and started talking about how I need to get help and how I need to fix myself and how we wouldn't be able to afford this place if it wasn't for her. She just basically attacked me. >> I went into my bathroom or her phone in the bathroom and I called my husband and was just telling him like, "Our lease is up in July, but I really don't feel like I can make it until July." and she's on the other side of the bathroom door just totally screaming and telling me like, "Why don't you tell them what you said and you do know this and that?" I'm kind of ignoring her. I turn the overhead fan on so I can kind of not hear her and have some privacy. That didn't really work. I'm not sure how she did it, but I'm sitting on the tub and she came into the bathroom. I don't even know how she got the door unlocked. She didn't knock. She didn't bang on it. I don't I don't know what happened, but she got in the bathroom. She took the phone from me and that's when I rallied her down the hallway and she went into her closet and we're both shoving each other. >> Okay. >> Unfortunately, I have fingernails and she doesn't and scratched her neck. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Okay. Well, like I said, I just want to know that way for our report. You know, the court has everything and they see both sides. But, um I don't know. Let me go and check these one more time. Make sure they're not going to get tighter on you. You're good to go. Go ahead and sit in there. >> You want your seat belt on? >> Yes, please. >> Okay, you go to the other side. >> You may drive safe, but others don't. >> Oh, I know it. But I like to ask. Everybody's an adult. Some people tell me no. >> Oh, >> I'm so sorry you guys. This should not be happening. I've never gone through this before. It's just you'll walk me through what I'm supposed to do. >> Okay, we'll we'll help you. Where's her purse? >> Facing. >> Okay. [Music] No, I'll be all right. Yeah, just checking. I uh always always always always always double check people's stuff. I've had people here above me that have given me someone's belongings. They could search for stuff and they're like, "Yeah." And we found like knives and weed and meth in it. I'm like, "Okay." Well, I was like, "They definitely did not search their objects at all." >> Endangering as well. >> Yeah. So, she was right there and watched her mom get chased. >> Mom tried to tell me that she wasn't. And I was like, but this is after she found out that she was getting in trouble. I didn't want this to happen and all that. And I'm like, you're not being truthful. So, I'm I'm not surprised she didn't give you a a statement, but we have everything we need. The more I talked to her, too, I was like trying to, you know, her like, you know, it happens like this stuff happens at Family Dynamics. Um, she said, I hate it when like my daughter watches us scream at each other. I was like, "So, she was observing the verbal argument and that immediately trans into the I'm chasing you into the bathroom." So, I can only imagine with how her daughter was there with us. I'm sure she was standing right there where I not going to put it on there. All right. I'm going to get her up there. All right. So, the plan is >> Yes, sir. >> We'll take you up to the jail. We'll get you booked in. >> Okay. Um, I'll explain the charges whenever we get there. >> Yes, sir. >> Um, and then if you have any questions, just let me know. >> Yes, sir. >> Now, I ask everybody before we get there. I'm not accusing you of anything. I'm not saying you have anything, but I ask there anything illegal on you >> or in you or anywhere. >> Oh my word. Absolutely not. >> Okay. I just I love you. I always like to give the common courtesy to everybody. >> No, sir. I vape and that's it. >> Like I said, I'm not saying you do anything. >> I know, sir. I understand. >> Everybody just verified. There's been a few where they'll be like, I do have something in me. I'm like, okay. >> Oh, wow. [Music] >> Cuz it's there there's another charge in the jail that if they take anything in there is I could imagine. Yeah, as there should be. >> I'm sorry, sir. >> It's Jessica. >> Yeah. Yes, sir. >> Would you say that the argument verbal expos? >> Absolutely. Well, I mean, it was verbal before that. That's what made me go to the bathroom. >> Yeah. >> But no, like it got physical when she took my phone. [Music] >> Yeah, she she took my phone. She walked down the hallway. She walked straight into her closet kind of cornering herself. So, I had no choice, you know, but to touch her to get my phone. Um, she proceeded to like fight me on keeping my phone, which I don't have the passcode to her phone, so I can't call anybody if I don't have my phone. So, yeah, that that was it. >> I'll say with any any future issues like this, if you ever get a warlord, you can just I was trying to I I couldn't call >> with my phone. I called my husband first because again everything was fine until she took my phone. >> No, he lives in Hot Springs. So, he was on his way up here to come get me >> cuz Yeah, I left the house and that and she didn't call the police until I'd already left the house. >> I was at my sister's house. >> Yeah. I was just leaving like I have no intentions of coming back. >> Yeah. My family knows, everybody knows that she's quite abusive and very difficult to live with. I've just put up with it for as long as I could now. This this was it. I can't do it anymore. But I kept screaming for um Will when he was on the phone and she took my phone. I said, "Call the cops. Call the cops. She's got my phone. She won't give me my phone." But yeah, I tried. [Music] >> I can't hear you, Hunt. I'm so sorry. This road noise. Right. Like I said, I'm going to do [Music] something. >> Absolutely. >> Oh, yeah. >> Of course, >> you will have our out there. If there is a child, they don't really bring it there with you. >> Oh, okay. >> But like I said, >> Yeah, that's understandable. They would need to hear both sides. She's just very young and um very dramatic. And >> she's 19. >> Yeah. Is that >> Yeah. Yep. She started early. I tried birth control and it made her actually have a period for 90 plus days. >> Um, but regardless, multiple trial and errors with birth control didn't work and she got pregnant. The father of the baby passed in a car accident and she's been quite hateful ever since. How long ago was that car accident? >> His car accident. She was four months pregnant. He never even got to meet her. >> Send her 101 female. >> So, I just kind of stepped up and decided to do what I could to be there. But Kaylee doesn't appreciate what I've done. >> I sold my house and used every last penny. I definitely understand that the stress of taking care of a home and dealing with screaming kiddos. I see it a lot. >> I just think it's quite toxic the relationship between the two of us and that we just do not need to live together. >> That I don't I don't care who we are. That is such an overwhelming position. Um the stress that goes with that is definitely most um parents that find that news out would make their child you know be a grownup and take care of that child. >> But I have to say I felt bad that Matt's not here. So I felt like you know she needed somebody. >> Yeah. >> She just doesn't appreciate what I do at all. >> Okay. I'll take the seat belt out. Just watch your head. >> Okay. >> You need long sleep. >> Yeah. >> You're going to end up like that other gentleman with RSC. That's not a fun sickness at all. >> Yeah. He was like breathing in front of her and I was like, "Sir, are you okay?" >> When was this? >> Just now. The gentleman that picked me up. >> Oh, the deputy has RSB. >> Yeah. His son had it so he said they've been battling it for week. It's just that time of year, you know, and a virus like that takes forever. >> Well, yeah. I am definitely All right, we'll go to the end of the hole and it's going to be to the right. It's going to be another big door. I'm going to have to get out of these clothes after work. I don't like the whole RSV stuff that I got a little newborn kiddo at home, so I don't like >> Oh, no. >> I don't like playing with all that. Maybe. [Music]
