Hey adrenaline junkies, welcome to Police Chase. Today we're kicking off a brand new series. When people messed with the wrong cops, where every dumb move instantly triggers justice mode. All right, let's dive in. We got the shoot, bro. On August 19th, 2026, at approximately 11:15 a.m. in Ketaring, Ohio, USA, police spotted a stolen Chevy Suburban at a BP gas station. The vehicle had escaped police just 1 day earlier, prompting officers to surround it before the driver could flee again. But 22-year-old Angelo Lero refused to surrender. He suddenly accelerated, repeatedly ramming police vehicles and nearly striking officers nearby. In seconds, a routine arrest turned into a dangerous confrontation as the engine roared and tire spun. Officers moved in. They broke the driver's window, deployed a taser, and pulled Lucerto from the SUV. A handgun was then spotted on the driver's seat. One reckless choice had put countless lives at risk. Don't move. Don't move. >> He's ramming us. >> Watch my head. >> Ready. Ready. We got a gun. We got a gun. >> WE GOT A GUN. HANDS UP. Hands up. Get that gun. Get that gun. >> Police confirmed the handgun was stolen and discovered suspected narcotics. On October 6th, Lucer pleaded guilty to six offenses and received 5 years of probation, rehabilitation requirements, and $18,589.62 in restitution. Thanks to the officer's swift response, the chaos ended, leaving a clear lesson, escaping responsibility only makes the consequences worse. >> If he gets close, I'm going TO SHOOT HIM, BRO. On May 1st, 2024, at approximately 7:17 p.m. in North Harris County, Texas, USA, police received multiple 911 calls about a man holding a knife and a cross while blocking traffic on Palston Bend Lane. Deputies quickly responded to the unusual situation. >> GET BACK. I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU AGAIN. >> Drop it. Drop it. Drop it. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. >> Sir, GET THE [ __ ] BACK NOW. GOT YOU. >> GET BACK. >> 2 minutes later, deputies encountered 61-year-old Emil Chuchini standing in the roadway. Despite repeated commands to step back and get on the ground, he only dropped the knife before continuing toward officers with the cross raised above his head. >> Get back, SIR. GET THE [ __ ] BACK. I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE you in. You're going TO GO TO JAIL. GET BACK. YOU'RE TOO [ __ ] CLOSE. GET BACK. >> Get back. >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. He by the knife. He's by the knife. >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get down. >> As Chuchini continued approaching, the situation escalated rapidly. One deputy discharged his firearm, striking him multiple times. What began as a call about disrupted traffic had suddenly become a heartbreaking emergency. >> Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. >> If he gets close, I'm going to shoot him, BRO. >> Godamn [screaming] it. 23. Shots fired. Shots fired. down. >> Deputies immediately requested emergency medical services and provided first aid. The encounter serves as a sobering reminder of how quickly a police response can escalate and why calm decisions and cooperation matter in every tense situation. >> 23. On August 24th, 2024, at approximately 8:30 p.m. in Canton, Ohio, USA, police responded to reports of an argument involving 10 to 15 people on Morris Avenue, Ne with concerns about armed activity in the nearby Mahoning Manor complex. Officers quickly arrived at the scene. >> That's why YOU GOT TO COMPLY. >> WHY IS MY BROTHER LIKE THAT, BRO? >> HE'S NOT COMPLYING, >> BRO. This is Damn, BRO. OH MY GOD, WE AIN'T DO NOTHING. We live out here, bro. >> As police approached, several individuals fled, triggering two-foot pursuits. One person was seen carrying a firearm, forcing an officer to abandon the chase. Meanwhile, other officers confronted a group of suspects and ordered them to the ground. >> I guess 10 seconds ago, we ran northbound on Gidley 19. Can you tell me why I'm doing that right? >> Just as the group appeared to comply, officer Brandon Mamirov suddenly kicked 21-year-old Jaimeir Mroy in the chest. The unexpected action raised serious questions about the use of force, turning an already tense encounter into a controversial incident. >> I'm not sure. He looks a little tall. >> Female pointing over here. Uh, she's warning you. >> Uh, looks like you went west to the backyard this way. I'll move your butt. There you go. >> Officers detained the suspects and recovered two Glock 9 millm pistols along with marijuana, cash, and scales found in a nearby vehicle. Officer Mummy's actions were placed under review. The incident reminds us that maintaining public safety also requires accountability, restraint, and respect for the law. >> Right. I don't know. Hey, but that was it though. It's nothing malicious. Just get him on the ground. How many times someone tell you get on the ground? You know, >> on July 17th, 2024, at approximately 6:11 p.m. in Jacksonville, Florida, USA, officer Jay Collier located a truck linked to an armed robbery investigation at a gas station. A rifle was visible inside, raising immediate concerns. Moments later, 37-year-old Brenton Packin approached the vehicle with his dog. >> Can you 1028 1029 tag for me? >> Officer Kier asked Packin to sit on the curb, but he ignored the request and continued toward his truck. As the officer tried to stop him, a struggle broke out. Hakee reached inside the vehicle and grabbed a handgun, turning a routine encounter into a dangerous confrontation. Sir, >> no, no, no, no. Sir, >> I'm asking. Sir, STOP. Pake attempted to ready the handgun, pointed it toward Officer Collier, and moved closer. Facing an immediate threat, the officer fired his weapon, bringing the confrontation to an abrupt end. Within seconds, one decision had changed everything. >> I'm ask medical aid before Pacwin was transported to a hospital in critical but stable condition. His dog was unharmed. Investigators later recovered multiple firearms, ammunition, and suspected narcotics from the truck. Pacwin faced an attempted murder charge involving a law enforcement officer. The incident serves as a powerful reminder that refusing lawful commands and reaching for a weapon can have life-changing consequences. On October 2nd, 2026, at approximately 8:21 in Batesville, Arkansas, USA, a trooper spotted a white U-Haul traveling at 61 mph in a 45 mm zone. As the officer turned to follow, the driver, Casey Whan, began swerving between lanes, raising immediate concerns. 813 24 um >> 167 county bro with a U-Haul truck appears to be a Arizona 28 Adam Lincoln 09261 >> despite flashing lights and siren Whan refused to stop and accelerated to 64 mph. The trooper attempted a tactical vehicle intervention, but the first attempt failed. With the pursuit continuing, the risk to everyone on the road kept growing. 13 up to 37. Hey, 20. I fell TV. TBI. On the second attempt, the vehicles collided and their bumpers became locked together. The U-Haul struck a mailbox and a curb before rolling onto its side. Officers rushed toward the overturned vehicle where Whan was trapped inside with two dogs. What began as a speeding violation had turned into a frightening roadside emergency. >> She's highly intoxicated. >> Okay, >> get up. >> Calm out. Can you get up? Can you stand up? Stand up. Stand up. Can you hear me? Do you understand? >> We're just south of the fire department on southside. Officers safely assisted Whan out of the vehicle and noticed signs of possible impairment along with four beer cans inside. She refused chemical testing and faced multiple charges, including felony fleeing and driving while intoxicated. Property damage was estimated at $3,732. The incident leaves a sobering reminder. One reckless decision can turn an ordinary drive into a costly lesson. >> Count how many uh cans are down there for me, please. All right. >> I got two up here. >> All right. 13 Newport. We're going to need one big uh tow truck for a U-Haul. And then I'm going to need probably to be pulled out with mine. It's off in the ditch. 4. >> On April 4th, 2021, at approximately 8:09 p.m. in Georgia, USA, police attempted to stop a gray Nissan Armada on Interstate 95 for an insurance related violation. Instead of pulling over, the driver sped away, triggering a dangerous highway pursuit. Wow. Chase in front of me. We're southbound. That may be it. The SUV accelerated to 106 mph in a 70 m zone, weaving through traffic and forcing other drivers to move aside. Georgia State Patrol troopers joined the pursuit. With traffic growing heavier every second increased the risk of a serious collision. 828. One more. Near exit 102, the SUV briefly became trapped in traffic, but the driver suddenly maneuvered around other vehicles to escape. Seeing the growing danger, a trooper performed a [music] pit maneuver, sending the SUV spinning into a roadside ditch. After repeated commands, officers removed the driver from the vehicle and brought the pursuit to an end. out. Get your HANDS UP. HANDS UP. HANDS [screaming] UP. Hands up. Hands up. >> Out the car with your hands up. >> Get out the car WITH YOUR HEADS UP. >> HANDS UP. HEY, I'm not getting out. >> The driver identified as Terrence Lance Truit admitted he fled because he was scared. Officers discovered his driving privileges had been suspended and observed signs of possible impairment. He faced 11 traffic related charges, including felony fleeing, reckless driving, and driving under the influence of drugs. A moment of fear had turned a simple traffic stop, into a costly lesson about responsibility. Why? >> On April 27th, 2024 in Arkansas, USA. Trooper Blaine Middle spotted a car traveling at 80 mph in a 60 milliper zone on State Highway 18. But when he activated his emergency lights, the driver refused to stop, turning a routine traffic violation into a dangerous pursuit. >> Highway 18 The driver accelerated to an astonishing 133 mph, passing other vehicles at high speed. As the trooper prepared to intervene, he noticed oncoming traffic and waited for the road to clear. One wrong move could have put innocent drivers in serious danger. behind. [screaming] >> Moments later, the driver suddenly break, forcing the patrol car to pass. The trooper quickly adjusted his position and executed a successful TVI maneuver, sending the fleeing vehicle spinning into his patrol car. The dramatic pursuit finally came to a halt. >> Get out of the car. GET ON THE GROUND. >> Is anyone out of the car? You crawl out here. CALL OUT HERE. DON'T YOU [ __ ] MOVE. You hear me? >> No. Just face my car. Make sure you got nothing else on you. Okay. >> The driver identified as David Dean surrendered and was arrested without further resistance. Officers found a legally documented firearm inside his vehicle. Dean faced charges including fleeing, reckless driving, speeding, and driving without a license. What began with a simple speeding violation became a powerful reminder that reckless choices can carry serious consequences. On February 18th, 2023, along Interstate 40, USA, trooper Gunner Folultz spotted a vehicle traveling at 82 mph in a 55 mil Bears zone. What seemed like a routine speeding violation was about to turn into a dangerous highway pursuit. As the trooper approached, the driver initially slowed down, but the moment police lights came on, the vehicle suddenly accelerated, refusing to stop. Speeds quickly exceeded 100 mph, putting other motorists at serious risk. Why turn a simple traffic stop into such a dangerous escape? Recognizing the growing danger, Trooper Folultz performed a pit maneuver, sending the fleeing vehicle spinning into a roadside barrier. But the pursuit wasn't over. The driver suddenly jumped out and escaped into nearby woods, leaving the passengers behind. >> Get out. Get out. Get out. Come here. >> Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the driver. Inside the vehicle, they recovered a stolen firearm. While the passengers were eventually released, the suspect remained at large, leaving behind a powerful reminder. Running from responsibility doesn't erase the consequences of reckless choices. Guns on you. Okay. >> I'm just serious. y >> on December 1st, 2024 in St. Charles, Illinois, USA. Police rushed to a senior living facility after 41-year-old Daniel Escalera reportedly entered with a chainsaw. With elderly residents nearby, the situation was immediately critical. >> Hey, hey, hey, drop the taser. Drop the taser. Or drop the drop it. Drop it. Drop it. Drop it. On the ground. On the ground. On the ground. >> Get back. GET BACK. GET BACK. GET BACK. HEY, DROP. Step it up. Hey, drop the chainsaw. Drop the chaser point. >> Oh my god. >> HEY, DROP IT. Drop it. Drop it. Drop it. >> An officer repeatedly ordered Escalera to put it down, but he started the chainsaw instead. A taser briefly stopped him. Yet moments later, he got back up and moved toward officers. >> Where's my Drop it, >> dude? I just want my life, man. Nice. Listen, MAN. >> HEY. >> HEY. Right here. He's right here. HE'S RIGHT HERE. SET FIRE. >> THE CONFRONTATION MOVED INTO a hallway where Escalera stopped beside an elderly resident in a wheelchair and suddenly turned toward officers. With almost no time to react, police responded and quickly brought the situation under control. Fire St. Charles Avenue special attention St. Charles unit dispatch shots fired. >> Officers immediately provided medical assistance. Investigators later concluded the officer's response was justified under the circumstances. One unpredictable decision had turned an ordinary afternoon into a frightening encounter for everyone inside. All right. Hey, get out of here. Come on, buddy. Come here. Come here. Come here. Come here. [screaming] >> On June 5th, 2025 in Moore, Oklahoma, USA, officers responded to a home after Jason Gerod was reportedly found inside without the homeowner's permission. Police also learned he had active warrants. >> I don't have any warrants. I want you to tell me what they're for. Turn. Turn around and put your hands down. Tell me what they're for. >> Taser. Taser. Taser. >> Turn around. If you want to >> turn around, put your hands down if you want to. Turn around. GET OUT OF MY HOUSE. >> When officers tried to detain him, Grod questioned the warrants and refused to cooperate. After several warnings, officers used a taser, but the struggle continued. >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> You're going to get tasered. YOU KILL ME. STEP IT UP. I NEED WE NEED BACKUP. >> Officers eventually brought Grod to the ground and gained control. What could have been a straightforward detention [music] had turned into a tense physical struggle within seconds. Grod was taken into custody and faced allegations including unlawful entry and [music] resisting arrest along with his outstanding warrants. Sometimes refusing a lawful order only makes an already difficult situation much worse. >> Back up. At 10:44 p.m. on September 17th, 2026 in Arlington, Texas, USA, officers responded to a home after reports that 56-year-old David Eversoul had access to knives. A family member was still inside the room with him, making every second critical. >> I sent your boyfriend. >> Okay. The dogs are put out. Okay. >> Enforcement friendly. Like I said, he's not going to be >> officers quickly moved the family member to safety. But when one officer entered the room, Eversol reportedly pulled out a large knife and ignored repeated commands to put it down. >> Hey, step up. Step up. >> Get away from me. >> I got a knife. >> No. Drop it. >> NO [ __ ] DROP IT. DROP IT. >> DROP IT NOW. >> SHOOT HIM. DROP THE KNIFE. >> DO NOT DROP THE KNIFE. [screaming] BACK UP. >> DROP THE KNIFE. >> BACK UP. >> MOVE UP. >> BACK UP. >> BACK UP. >> AS the officer backed toward the doorway, Eversoul continued moving toward him with the knife. With little room and almost no time left, the officer was forced to react. >> Fired. Shots fired. Give me the channel. Officers immediately secured the scene and provided first aid until paramedics arrived. No officers or other family members were injured. The incident shows how quickly a domestic call can become a dangerous split-second encounter. Okay, I just kept >> on January 29th, 2021, at around 2:45 p.m. near G3 in Upper Wy Road in Georgia, USA, a trooper spotted a silver Mazda using a turn lane to pass stop traffic before running a red light. When emergency lights and sirens came on, the driver accelerated instead of stopping. A simple traffic violation had just become a pursuit. >> Radio. I'm in a 1080. I'm over here by the race strike on 19 19 and Georgia 3 semi 45 radio. I'm on I'm going around the track. >> The Mazda raced through Henry and Fyet counties, crossing double yellow lines, running stop signs, and repeatedly entering opposing traffic. Speeds climbed above 100 mph. At one point, reaching 103 mph in a 35 mm zone. With every risky pass, innocent drivers and even construction workers were placed in danger. How long could this continue before something went seriously wrong? Okay, we in the B zone. Come out. Okay, they going to hit somebody head home. After an earlier PIT attempt failed, the pursuit continued for roughly 20 m into heavier traffic. Seeing another opportunity, the trooper positioned his patrol car beside the Mazda and performed a pit maneuver. The fleeing car spun out and collided with another vehicle while the patrol car was also involved in a secondary collision. After miles of uncertainty, the chase was finally over. >> Okay, I just >> [screaming] >> Driver Dominique Lamar Haynes and passenger Shayla Jackson Holmes were taken into custody without further incident. During an inventory of the Mazda, officers reported finding a large bag of suspected marijuana. What began with a red light violation became a 20-mile pursuit. A powerful reminder that trying to escape one problem can quickly create many more. At around 8:55 p.m. in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, Trooper Thomas was notified that Tennessee Highway Patrol units were pursuing a Chevrolet pickup northbound on Interstate 55. As the truck exited toward MLK, Thomas took the lead. Emergency lights and sirens were active, but the driver kept going. We're ahead. The pickup moved onto Broadway and then through a residential neighborhood as Thomas tried to bring the pursuit to a controlled end. Two TVI attempts failed when the driver breakd away. With homes and other vehicles nearby, every extra second added another layer of risk. >> TVI. TVI. TVI. Are you still on the road? >> He's on Broadway near South >> Broadway and okay street. 104 ride down the road. >> The chase eventually reached a service road alongside Interstate 55. Thomas saw another opportunity and performed a third TVI. This time it worked, sending the pickup off the service road before it came to a stop near the I-55 South and MLK exit. After several failed attempts, the pursuit was finally over. The driver, Terry Grant, exited the truck, lay face down, and was taken into custody without further incident. Officers later determined that his Tennessee driver's license had been revoked. They also found that the Chevrolet Silverado carried a fictitious plate registered to a Chevrolet Avalanche, while the Silverado itself had registration that had expired in 2021. Sometimes running only delays the inevitable and adds consequences along the way. At around 2:12 p.m. on August 11th, 2026 in New Blaine, Arkansas, USA, deputies responded to reports of a possibly impaired woman at a Dollar General. The driver identified as Angela Sharp left in a white Nissan SUV before officers arrived. We are westbound on East Wing Fifth Street. Speeds 52 train speeds still eastbound. We're coming up to the intersection of speed 33 westbound. A deputy attempted to stop Sharp on State Highway 22, but she reportedly continued west, even driving through a yard before returning to the highway. As the pursuit approached Paris, Arkansas State Police joined in fast draw. 10. Hey [ __ ] TVI. >> Once traffic cleared, trooper Jeremy Elliot performed a TVI. The SUV left the roadway and rolled several times before stopping in a ditch. Then smoke began pouring from the damaged vehicle, turning the pursuit into an urgent rescue. >> Hey, get up. Get off. You got baton. >> I left it. Make it. I got cover. >> Fire. I got fire. I got fire. >> Y'all can hear the doors open. Bam. >> I got back. You got a baton? >> Nat crack. >> No, it's not crack. >> Door open. Door open. Got her. >> All right. Come out. >> Come out. Come out. >> Come out now. >> We need you out. >> Officers broke a rear window, opened the vehicle, and pulled Sharp to safety. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation and was expected to face multiple charges. After her release, one risky decision had turned miles of highway into a dangerous chain of events. >> We were trying to let her know like, "Hey, >> honor." >> Yeah. Cuz we like Dave pulled over. He was like, "Hey, >> pull over." And she She almost is. >> Yeah. >> TBI John Barrel 6. I'm not even coming up right now. 630 West. Another GPI. For several tense moments, the vehicles remained connected as the trooper fought to maintain control. With almost no room for error, staying calm became just as important as stopping the pursuit. >> STAY RIGHT THERE. DO NOT MOVE. PASSENGER, YOU STAY WHERE YOU'RE AT. >> Step over here in front of the truck. >> Step over HERE IN FRONT OF THE TRUCK. >> YES, SIR. >> GET OVER HERE. >> YES, SIR. >> Get that on your face right now. >> We ain't got nothing. My knee hurts. your hand behind. >> [ __ ] >> Get up right now. >> Stand up. >> Climb out of the window. >> My knee hurt, bro. >> I think my knee hurt. >> Eventually, the situation was brought under control and the pursuit ended. The unusual encounter showed that even a trained maneuver can become unpredictable in seconds. Keep getting your butt back that way. On September 23rd, 2024, at around 2:24 p.m. near the Oklahoma Arkansas state line USA. Authorities were alerted to two vehicles heading east on I40 while being pursued by Oklahoma officers. Minutes later, Corporal Court Williams picked up a black Chevrolet Tahoe with California plates. The SUV soon accelerated beyond 100 mph and the pursuit was only beginning. 125. The Tahoe continued onto I-540 and US Highway 64. at times passing vehicles on the shoulder. Officers attempted several TVI maneuvers, but the driver kept going, eventually exceeding 130 mph. In Alma, spike strips damaged the Taho's front left tire, yet it continued moving, even entering opposing traffic at times. With every mile, the risk spread far beyond the driver himself. >> [screaming] >> Not getting recovered. >> Thank you for doing The pursuit finally ended after the Tahoe struck another vehicle and later crashed near US Highway 64 in Firefly Lane. The driver ran through backyards and allegedly tried to take another vehicle from a garage before fleeing toward a wooded area. According to the report, officers later found 15 large bundles of suspected methamphetamine weighing about 240 lb, another 2.2 lb bundle of suspected fentanyl, and $4,300 in cash. A second driver, Matthew Bunch, was also taken into custody after a separate pursuit. Federal and regional investigators joined the case. What began as an attempt to get away had ended with two people in custody, damaged vehicles, and property, and consequences far greater than where the pursuit started. On September 30th, 2025, at around 4:44 p.m. on I75 near Venice, Florida, USA. Trooper Shier received an alert for a stolen white Kia Stos traveling south. Thanks to the owner's tracker, dispatch kept updating its location. When the Kia passed mile marker 167, the plate was confirmed and the trooper moved in. This is not. As soon as Shierra activated his lights and siren, the Kia accelerated away, weaving through traffic and using the shoulder at high speed. Other drivers were forced to move aside. With traffic slowing ahead, the trooper saw a brief opportunity to bring the pursuit under control before someone else was put at risk. Find the traffic condition near mile marker 159. Shira performed a pit maneuver. The Kia rotated, contacted the median cable barrier, and came to a stop on the interstate. Officers quickly secured the vehicle and removed the driver through the passenger side before placing her in handcuffs. She was identified as Kar Echo Sanders. Get up. Get out. Get out. Get the [ __ ] OUT OF THE CAR. >> Records showed Sanders had a suspended driver's license while an open beer container was reportedly found inside the Kia. After a medical evaluation, later breath tests recorded 0.134 twice. Sanders was then taken to the Charlotte County Jail. What began with one vehicle on the highway had quickly become a dangerous pursuit, another reminder that one reckless decision can multiply the consequences in minutes. >> I'm going to read your rights real quick. Okay. >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can or will be used against you in the court of law. At around 900 p.m. on October 25th, 2022 in Sagena County, Michigan, USA, state troopers were refueling when they spotted a vehicle linked to Greg Atwood, a man wanted in connection with a serious case. A routine stop at the gas station suddenly became much more tense. Yep. priority target >> 45 >> from the county east behind it now going in didn't have to go again. >> When Atwood drove away, troopers followed and attempted a traffic stop. Instead of stopping, he reportedly accelerated, beginning a pursuit through the area. Grand going north on Adams. I don't want to hit him with cars. Let's get a second car here. With no response from inside the vehicle, officers secured the area and called in a specialized team. >> There's a gas leak of some sort now. >> You guys got rifle. >> Rescue crews eventually found Atwood trapped inside and carefully removed him from the damaged vehicle. He was taken for medical evaluation before being placed into custody. One attempt to get away had ended with an entirely different kind of rescue. On May 15th, 2024, near Niceville, Florida, USA, Florida Highway Patrol troopers joined a pursuit involving a red Toyota pickup on Highway 85. What began with local deputies was quickly moving onto a much bigger stage. 639. As the pickup continued north on Highway 85, FHP troopers took over the pursuit. The driver kept going, forcing officers to carefully position themselves for a safe opportunity to bring it to an end. Oh, you still not involved. Move over to channel one. Oh, you still not involved. Channel one. Update as soon as you can. You got too much back. >> With speeds rising and the danger increasing, troopers stayed close behind. Every second captured on dash cam showed how quickly one decision behind the wheel could put everyone on the road at risk. Mark 20 north. >> Troopers eventually brought the pursuit under control. The encounter was another reminder that trying to outrun police rarely solves the problem. It only adds more risk for everyone involved. On June 19th, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, troopers attempted to stop a white Chevrolet Impala with no license plate. The driver, Willie Lee Pastel, refused to pull over and accelerated away. What began as a routine traffic stop quickly turned into a dangerous pursuit through busy city streets. Pastel continued through intersections and ignored red lights, putting other road users at risk. Troopers stayed close and looked for a safe opportunity to stop the Impala. With every intersection, the stakes grew higher because one reckless move could affect far more people than just the driver. Troopers used two PIT maneuvers before Postel eventually abandoned the Impala and continued on foot. Officers repeatedly ordered him to stop, but he refused to comply. A taser was then deployed, allowing officers to bring the pursuit under control and take him into custody. After a chase on wheels and on foot, there was finally nowhere left to run. Let me see your [ __ ] hands. LET ME SEE YOUR [ __ ] HANDS. [screaming] Let me see your [ __ ] hands. Let me see your [ __ ] hands. Let me see your [ __ ] hands. Get on the ground. They also confirmed that Postel's driver's license was suspended and that he had prior felony convictions. A missing license plate had led to a dangerous pursuit and even more serious consequences. A reminder that running from responsibility rarely makes the original problem disappear. >> Street 2025 near the Golden Glades interchange in Florida, USA. A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was heading to a traffic crash when she noticed a dark green Genesis G70 traveling recklessly southbound on the Florida Turnpike. The car was moving through traffic at high speed and even using the left shoulder to get around other vehicle. The trooper moved in and activated her emergency lights and siren, signaling the driver to stop. Instead, the Genesis accelerated and continued onto the ramp. In seconds, reckless driving had turned into an active pursuit, and every increase in speed raised the risk for everyone nearby. Despite the patrol vehicle close behind, the driver continued to ignore the signals and push forward at increasing speed. What would normally have been a traffic stop was now unfolding on a busy highway, leaving the trooper with the difficult task of following the vehicle while protecting everyone sharing the road. The information provided ends while the pursuit is still underway. So, the final outcome is not included here. But even at this stage, the lesson is clear. A reckless choice behind the wheel can quickly place countless strangers at risk. On a busy highway, responsibility is measured not only by where you're going, but by how your decisions affect everyone around you. On January 7th, 2026, at around 4:04 p.m. in Blefield, Arkansas, USA, a trooper noticed a black Toyota Camry driving unusually along East Main Street. When the trooper attempted a traffic stop near South Lockard Street, the driver briefly stopped and looked back, then suddenly accelerated away. Stop. Stop. Stop. No. Stop. We on Ash Street north on Ash. The black Toyota Cameron. The pursuit continued through several streets with speeds eventually exceeding 100 mph. According to the report, the driver crossed a solid yellow line and continued despite repeated attempts to stop him. An initial TVI maneuver did not end the pursuit, and the Camry turned around and accelerated away once again. Each passing second brought more uncertainty to everyone sharing the road. Get ready. Right north back north of Rutle >> near Rutle Road in Northeast Parkway. The trooper successfully performed another TVI, leaving the Camry disabled in a ditch. Officers carefully coordinated their positions and repeatedly ordered the driver to show his hands. After several tense moments, he exited through the passenger door, lay on the ground, and was taken into custody. The driver was identified as Renie Sims. Roll over. Roll over. Roll over. >> Show me your hands. >> Hands up. >> Say 21, bro. We got TVI. Roll over. He's back to get out. Get out the car. Get in the car. Get out. Open the door. >> Sims told officers he was not injured and said he had fled because he was scared. According to the report, officers noticed signs of possible impairment and later found a small amount of marijuana and an open container of alcohol inside the vehicle. What began as a simple traffic stop had turned into a triple-digit pursuit. A reminder that fear-driven decisions can make a difficult situation far more serious in only moments. It's >> okay.
