Hello. Hey, Officer Wilson Township Police Department. Reason for that is you don't have a license plate light. So, when you pass by me over there on Maxtown Road, it looked like you did have a license plate until I got behind you. Um, but it's just because that light that's supposed to shine on your license plate at night isn't working. Okay. Um, so super minor infraction. Okay. But at night time, we got to be able to see it from 50 ft back. Okay. I got Where you guys coming from? >> Door dashing. >> Oh, door dashing. Okay. How long have you guys been doing that for tonight? two hours. Has it been pretty busy so far? >> Yeah, it's good. Good. Going to Mayor Kroger. It's about It's all about shopping. >> Oh, awesome. Good to hear. Good to hear. Do you have your driver's license on you? Okay, I got you. >> Okay. She's with me. >> Okay, I got you. All right. Do is it a tipper? Do you have yours on You just want to make sure you're valid driver. >> Now I have um this work because I have a previous Okay. >> This is just an ID but I have um work. >> Are you still currently suspended or do you have privileges? >> I have work privileges. >> Do you have proof of those with you by chance or >> I do not have it with me. >> Do you have like a picture or anything or >> No sir. >> Okay. Okay. I got you. We'll run it through and we'll we'll see uh what everything's saying like that. Okay. Um obviously with the temporary permit, the only thing is uh I I'll see if it says like with privileges and everything. Obviously you guys are Door Dashing. Okay. >> Um so I know that if you're saying you have privileges, that would be within work cuz you um >> technically you're supposed to have your privileges with you. Um because if you can't show privileges um then I have to assume that you're outside of privileges even though 99.99999% of the time um once you get privileges it says you know for work but sometimes there's stipulations say you can only work from this time to this time or on these days whatever it may be. Um but we'll work through it. Um if there's any breaks I can cut you guys or if everything works out I'll try to get you guys out of here as soon as possible. Okay. >> Okay. All right. Do >> is there a place to walk here so we're not like right in traffic? >> No, that's okay. There's a middle lane that people can get by and it's pretty low traffic, so we'll just stay here. Okay. Um, just for the time being, just stay in the vehicle for me, okay? And don't get out, okay? >> All right. >> All right. I forgot that real quick. No weapons or anything in the car. No guns, no lines, anything like that. Okay. I got you right back. Can you do me? You got pepper spray on you. Where's it at? >> Okay. Go ahead and remove it slowly and then just toss it right there in the center console for me. Okay. I appreciate no other weapons, needles, knives, anything like that. Okay, I got you. Um, can you do me a huge favor and just uh toss your thing right here for me and then uh just take your seat belt off and step out of the vehicle. I just have a couple questions for you. Okay, >> sir, can you do us a favor? Just stay here in the car. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. We'll be back up with you in a second. >> Okay. >> Okay. Then just come back over here. Um, so just stand behind your car real quick and then face your car. I'll explain everything in just a second. Okay. Put your hands behind your back for me. Fingers together. Okay. Okay, just go ahead and rotate your pumps towards me. Keeping them in release. Um, so you got worn out. Okay. Um, at the sheriff's office, looks like you failed to appear for jail time or something like that. Um, so they're they're confirming that real quick. Um, and then uh if they um if they want you um you'll have to go down to jail quick. I don't know if there's a bond or anything like that. Um, but that's why you're being placed in handcuffs right now. Okay. Um, also on top of that, um, I see that you had the physical control suspension. Um, but it shows that your failure to reinstate. So even if you had privileges, um, you still technically wouldn't be a valid driver because you didn't have like >> you got work. Exactly. >> So, yeah, you're fine. So, whenever you get your license suspended for whatever reason, it could be a plethora of reasons. >> Um, once you do all the court stuff, you still have to pay the BMV reinstatement fees to get your license reinstated. until you do that, they still have a suspension on your license, which is called a failure to reinstate suspension. So, typically, how to fix that though, you most of the time I can have people fix it on traffic stops cuz they can log in if they have the money to do so. >> Um, and typically it updates in our system immediately cuz our system's like tied to the BMV. >> Um, I'd have to go back and check the rest of your suspensions, but obviously because of your warrant, >> it's probably >> that kind of comp. Well, on top of that, it's not going to matter because you're going to have to go to jail for >> tonight. Um, I'll go back and double check to see what it is. >> Okay. >> Um, but that's where we're at right now. Okay. Did you have a court date or something you were supposed to go to? >> Oh, probably. Um, I got sick shortly afterwards. I ended up with seizures and epilepsy and forgot. Forget a lot of stuff. >> Okay, I gotcha. >> Hey, Spencer, did you guys have a female working? Are they on the right? >> Oh, I appreciate it. Thank you. No bond. >> Okay. So, it looks like your warrant is no bond. It looks like >> So, I'd have to go back and double check to see what it what it was for, but it looks like it was your jail time that you had to serve. Did they tell you like at the end of your court date that you had to serve jail time? >> They said it was either 3 days jail time. >> All right, sir. Thank you for your patience. Okay. Um, so you just have your temporary permit, right? Okay. Are you able to call someone with a valid driver's license to come be here with you? Are you able to Uber home? Possibly. >> I can call my cousin. >> Okay. Where um where do you live at if you don't mind me asking? >> Yeah. >> Um >> would it be easier for you to Uber home or just >> I just uh I can call my cousin if I don't you need him to drive beside you? >> Yeah. So, here's the thing. Obviously, her license is not valid. She's suspended. Okay. Um is she your wife? >> No, she's >> girlfriend. Okay. Um I'm not going to go too much into detail because she's an adult. If she wants to share her personal information with you later, she can. But at this time, it's not my place to to tell you what what is going on with her. Okay? Um, but obviously she can't be in the vehicle with you. Okay? She is being placed under arrest right now. Okay? So, she won't she won't be going back home with you. Um, and then >> I ask everybody for you, you can call your cousin if you'd like. Um, I don't know what he would plan on doing with his vehicle, though. Ideally, it'd be better if he could bring two people. That way, he doesn't have to leave his car here. Does that make sense? >> So, he'll just need two people and then both of them have to have valid licenses, obviously. >> Okay. >> Okay. 18 and over. >> All right. >> All right. Thank you. >> Whenever you have any information, just wave your hand out and I'll come up and talk to you. Okay. Thanks. time or a hotel like stay where you it's like a three-day hotel stay but it's like 500 bucks I didn't have like make money for it. >> Okay. Yeah. So that's I think that's what it's for. So they're probably going to make you do the 3 days if I had to guess. Okay. Um do you have a phone or like I know you had your wallet in there. >> I got my phone in my pocket. >> Okay. Um we're just going to wait for a female officer to come to the scene to do a quick search on you. Okay. Um, before they get there though, um, I'm just going to read you your rights really quick. Okay? You have the right to remain silent. Anything that you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to have an attorney present during any questioning. If you can't afford an attorney, one will be provided to you at no cost. And if you decide to start answering questions now, you can stop at any time. Okay? You understand rights. [clears throat] If you have anything illegal on your person, narcotics, anything that's going to poke, stick, cut? >> No needles, no nothing like that. >> Okay. Have you ever used narcotics before? Not with a doctor prescription like >> only prescription stuff. You've never done like heroin meds. Okay, I got you. >> So now I ask everybody obviously we want to be safe and make sure >> Okay, I got you. We just want to be safe and make sure we're not going to get poked with something or anything like that. Okay. Um so when this female officer gets here um she'll do a quick search on you. Um and at that point we're going to check with the sheriff's office whether they want to come down and just take you there themselves or if I'm going to take you up to the jail. Then they'll they'll serve you your paperwork there. Okay. Um, >> am I able to bring my wallet with me? >> Yeah, we can get your wallet in a second. We'll just wait u for that other officer to get here and then once we do that, I'll grab your wallet. Okay. >> Um, I'll have to look through your wallet. Actually, if you want if you want to hang out with this officer, you mind if I grab it real quick? Where's it at? >> It should be um a med probably knows where it is. >> Okay, I got this in my pocket. >> It's for uh it's for Wallen in here by chance, sir. Okay, I got you. I appreciate it. Thank you. >> Um, just because you're taking it with you, I got to make sure there's nothing crazy in here. Okay, >> that's absolutely fine. >> Um, can [clears throat] you say you just have your phone on you? >> Yes, sir. >> Um, I'm just going to put this in the back of my cruiser right now and then whenever you get transported either by us or the sheriff's office, I'll get it to you. >> So, where are you guys coming from? Um, pretty much we just dropped off an order for Door Dash and then it's on his phone. He >> So, you guys are Door Dashing? >> Yeah. Gotcha. >> Yeah, we just do it together cuz one I thought I could go with him with my license cuz he needed another driver. I didn't realize >> that I wasn't able to. Um, >> and it's just safer. >> So, you didn't know anything about your suspension or the warrant? >> I knew about my suspension, but I thought I had privileges like work privileges with it. Um, >> okay. >> Like I told the other officer, I have epilepsy. I have nocturnal seizures. And I have a really about stuff like that. >> Do you need these lights turned off? >> No, it's just when I sleep. Yeah. Okay. >> It's really weird. It's not like the lights flashing light type thing. It's when I'm like in my sleep, I'll start having them. So, >> Okay. >> But thank you. >> Yeah. >> How long have you had that going on? >> A couple years now. >> Okay. Now I was just about to ask um with having that do they provide that medic like I'm have kera do they provide that in jail? >> What is it? >> Kera for the um >> is that the full name of the medication >> for my seizure? >> Do you have it with you? >> No, sir. I don't >> All right. >> No, I take it right before I go to bed. >> Okay. Do you have um that information on your phone anywhere? >> Yeah, I can pull up my Are you able to show us? Yeah. >> Okay. Where's your phone? >> In my pocket here. >> Is it okay if I grab it? >> Yeah, absolutely. >> Here. Mhm. >> Are you okay with me going uh accessing your phone? >> Yeah. Pull it up and then swipe to the right. >> That's left. Are you on the phone? >> You're fine. Keep going to the my chart. Keep going. Right there on the top. Click my chart. >> She has a medication called Keer for epilepsy. >> Okay. >> Do you have it with you? No, I was I was wondering if they >> Can you do your uh face ID? So, we're checking here. I'm verifying that and then we can check with the jail. >> What's wrong? >> Uh go to medications and then go scroll down. Keep on scrolling. There's one of the there. There's Keer. >> This is Keerra. And then one right above it, too. They're two different dosages. One's a long acting and one's a short act. >> Yeah. Yeah, we just have to verify. A lot of times jails um >> I'm I'm going to put your phone up here. A lot of times jails aren't allowed to give people certain medications. So, we'll have to verify with them and see. Okay. >> Okay. Um this officer here, like I explained, um just to do a uh a quick search on your persons, like I said, um like I already advised you, nothing on you that you're going to Okay. All right. She's going to do a quick search on you whenever she's ready. Um, and then at that point once we hear back from the jail and and get confirmation on kind of that next step, then we'll we'll I'll try to get you out of the cold. >> Jails, um, I'm I'm going to put your phone up here. A lot of times jails aren't allowed to give people certain medications, so we'll have to verify with them and see. Okay. >> Hello. >> So, I sent the location to my cousin. He's coming. He and his brother, you know. >> Okay. Okay. How old are they? >> Excuse me. >> How old are they approximately? >> No, no, they're 30s. >> Okay. Um, so I checked with her. She's okay with me telling you what's going on. Okay. So her license is suspended. Okay. So she has an active suspension right now. And uh she also has an active arrest warrant. Okay. So it looks like she failed to either appear to court um um I'm not exactly sure what the case is about. I'd have to go back to my computer and look into it, but she hasn't a warrant because she failed to appear. Okay. So right now she is being placed under arrest. Um, we're currently checking with the jail to see if they'll take her because of the medications that she's prescribed. Um, if they will take her, then she will be taken to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office jail. Okay. She doesn't have a bond. So, once she gets over there, she'll be able to call you and uh if she if she wants to and provide you with more details, she'll just have to have her arraignment probably in the morning. Okay. >> Does that make sense? Okay. Okay. >> If you have any other questions or you need anything, wave your hand out. Okay. Thanks. Rebecca, do you have anything on you at all in your pockets? >> Um, I got >> No, I don't think I have anything in my pockets. >> Okay. No drugs or weapons or anything like that? No. Okay. >> Um, I don't have any pockets in my pants. >> I just have an abdominal binder on you. >> Okay. Weapons. That's all we hear about. >> Do you have a shirt on underneath the scope? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm just going to have to unzip it. Okay. All right. She'll just have to have properly in the morning. Okay. Does that make sense? >> You have another question. >> You want your hand just a little bit kind of like this? Thank you. >> So, the jail does that have they do have that medication? Okay. >> Oh, good. >> So, it looks like the jail does have her medication, so they will be able to take her. Okay. Um, like I said, once she gets over there, she'll be able to have an opportunity to make a phone call. Sometimes, depending on how busy the jail is, that can take a couple hours. Okay? So, um, pay attention to your phone. I'm sure she'll call you if she wants to, like I said. Okay? And then more than likely, she'll probably have her arraignment in the morning. All right? In the meantime, just do us a favor. Just wait here and then uh we're going to stand by until your cousins get here. All right. So this is her money. She wants you to hang on to it. >> Can you wind your fing just a little bit? Kind of like this. >> So the jail does that have they do have that medication? Okay. >> Your arms up just a bit. >> So looks like the jail does have your medication. So they will be >> Nothing stuck in your pants. >> Anything uh hidden in your bra at all? Yeah. >> Okay. >> This is just the abdominal. >> Yeah. >> You can take it. >> No, no, it's fine. Just making sure there's nothing stuffed in there. Okay. >> You see these pants pockets? No. I'll switch sides. Thank you. >> Um, are you okay if I just give the change? >> Are you okay if I give the change to him? Just so you don't have loose change hanging around. >> You guys can do whatever you need. >> Well, it's your money. I got to ask you. So, >> same with your uh >> I apologize. >> No, no, it's fine. I don't I don't care about >> Oh, wait. In case there's more sounds like >> maybe No, you're fine. >> Your hair is there. Oh, there's It's just like >> It's a sock in there. >> Oh, a sock. >> It's like a rolled up sock to make it to the >> The jail's going to make you take it out. Do you want to take it out here or in the jail? >> Um, I'll take it out here. It doesn't matter. >> Okay. Are you okay if she does it or >> Yeah, I don't know how to do that. She's going to have to do it. [laughter] Or you can let the jail doing it. Just just to let you know if there I'm not saying you do, but if there is anything in that, you're going to get hit with a felony when you go to jail. Sure. Same with your binder, ma'am. Obviously, we're not going to take it off. That's we can't do that. But just if there's anything in there, nothing. Okay. Um, is your necklace anything sharp on your necklace or anything like that? >> I forgot about my necklace. No, >> no neck knives or anything on it. Okay. Do you mind if I just pull it up and then check out? >> All right, sounds good. >> All right. Well, she's good. I check her shoes, but >> Okay, that's fine. All right. Um, we'll we'll get to that in a second. Uh, I'm assuming you want your phone with you to the jail. >> Okay. We're going to go to this cruiser right here in front of us. Okay. I'm just going to toss this on the hood and then put it inside the car. Whenever we get here, we're going to go right into this one. Okay. Thank you. >> And once you get to the jail, uh, make sure that you if in case they have any questions about your medication or exactly what the dosage is. Uh, yeah. Show them on your phone. All right. >> If you do, just sit down first. >> Yeah. And then if you can try to kind of kick your feet towards me so I can just take a look in your shoes real quick. Okay. >> Have relay set up or anything yet? >> They said if we could transport it. >> Okay. >> Can you do it just slide on? noises or anything like that. >> Thanks for being uh super cool with us. We appreciate it. >> Perfect. Yours aren't too tight or anything? Are you done with your stuff? Can you hang on to this this her scarf for lotion? And then there's change here. Thank you.
