Hey adrenaline junkies, welcome to Police Chase. Today we're kicking off a brand new series when people mess with the wrong cops where every dumb move instantly triggers justice mode. All right, let's dive in. Hey, get over here. >> A [ __ ] >> On May 12th, 2024 at 4:43 p.m. in Columbus, Ohio, USA, West Jefferson police officers were dispatched to the Amazon CH5 facility after reports of an active armed suspect inside the building. More than 100 employees were working at the time, turning an ordinary afternoon into moments of fear and uncertainty. According to investigators, 22-year-old Ali Hamsa Ysef approached a supervisor from behind and pointed a handgun toward him. Fortunately, the firearm malfunctioned, allowing the supervisor to escape without physical injury. Before officers arrived, Ysef had already left the scene, leaving behind many unanswered questions and anxious employees trying to process what had just happened. >> There they are. THERE THEY ARE. HEY, I'M HIT. >> About 90 minutes later, officers located Yousef near Georgeville and climb roads. Dash cam footage captured him running across a small hill toward a parking lot while continuing to fire in the direction of pursuing officers. Law enforcement from multiple agencies worked together under intense pressure, returning fire only as the threat continued. The exchange lasted about 8 seconds. Yet, for everyone involved, it likely felt much longer. During the encounter, one Columbus police officer was struck in a ballistic vest and was not seriously injured. >> Which one is that? >> There they are. THERE THEY ARE. OH [ __ ] HEY, I'm hit. >> After the confrontation, Ysef was transported to a nearby hospital. Officials confirmed that no employees inside the Amazon facility were injured during the incident. The case serves as a powerful reminder that dangerous situations can unfold without warning. While the professionalism and coordination of responding officers help prevent an even more serious outcome. Let's >> get that medicated. You good? You good? >> Yeah. Right here. You good? >> All right. >> All right. I don't know if I'm bleeding. >> Wounded by my good hospital. >> Let's go. On May 4th, 2020, shortly before 8:00 p.m. in Sparks, Nevada, USA, officers were called to a Motel 6 on Victorian Avenue after reports of a highly aggressive man creating a dangerous disturbance. What began as an ordinary hotel check-in quickly turned into a tense situation that no one on the property expected. According to investigators, 36-year-old Ronald Alberto Zendeas appeared to be intoxicated and behaved aggressively toward hotel staff. After damaging property in the lobby, he returned minutes later carrying a running chainsaw. Employees rushed to take cover as he forced his way into restricted areas and later confronted the occupant of a nearby room, leaving visible damage to the door before walking back outside. It was then that multiple 911 calls brought officers racing to the scene. Sparks at Motel 6 last knocking on doors near the office. >> Sparks 91. >> Where'd he go? Where's he at? >> All right. When officers arrived, witnesses pointed directly to Zendahas, who was sitting inside his vehicle. Despite repeated commands to stop and show his hands, he suddenly sped away. The pursuit quickly escalated as he drove across traffic lanes, struck roadside objects, collided with a patrol vehicle, and continued driving recklessly through the area. As the danger to officers and the public continued to increase, officers responded to stop the threat. The vehicle traveled only a short distance before crashing into a nearby wall. >> Stop. Police. Let me see your hands. Don't [ __ ] drive, man. Stop the car. Stop the [ __ ] car. >> Spark 91. We distracted our car. Shut me your head. Shut me your head. Stop. Shot. Fired. Additional officers secured the scene and removed Zendahas from the vehicle before he was transported for emergency medical care. The incident highlighted how a series of reckless decisions can escalate within minutes, placing countless lives at risk. Thanks to the quick coordination and decisive actions of responding officers, the situation was brought under control before even more innocent people were harmed. On September 4th, 2023 at 1:11 p.m. in Los Angeles, California, USA, deputies from the East Los Angeles station responded to a gas station on South Atlantic Boulevard after receiving reports of an armed suspect. What appeared to be a routine afternoon quickly turned into a fast-moving incident that demanded an immediate response. Investigators said a man later identified as 32-year-old Eduardo Vilenner entered the business, took several items, and displayed a handgun as he left. [screaming] >> Show me your [ __ ] ass now. >> Show me YOUR ASS. STOP RIGHT THERE. >> Stop right there. NO. >> SHOW ME YOUR HEAD. >> A short time later, deputies located him walking nearby and repeatedly ordered him to stop. Instead of complying, Villisenor continued moving, forcing officers to make split-second decisions as the situation rapidly intensified. 998 998 >> officers responded to the immediate threat and Villisor was struck before dropping the handgun and falling to the ground. Deputies quickly secured the weapon and immediately began providing first aid while requesting paramedics. Villisor was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. Investigators later recovered a loaded semi-automatic handgun and determined that he had committed an armed robbery before the counter and had also pointed the firearm at another person nearby while fleeing. Fortunately, no bystanders were injured. The case stands as another reminder that refusing lawful commands can quickly lead to serious consequences while the swift actions of responding deputies help protect the surrounding community. >> All three are accounted for. >> Hey, GET OVER HERE. SHE WENT IN HER PURSE. >> On July 15th, 2026, at approximately 8:44 p.m. in Fort Worth, Texas, USA, officers from the Fort Worth Police Department South Division responded to reports of gunfire in the 1700 block of Belchshire Court. A 911 caller reported that a barefoot woman wearing a pink shirt was firing a handgun, and at least one gunshot could be heard in the background, prompting a priority 1 response. >> She's black. She looks about like she's 5'6. She's got her hair in a ponytail. She's wearing a bright pink top and shorts. I don't think she's wearing shoes. >> What color shorts are you able to see? Is she threatening? Anyone? >> Uh, no. She's just walking around smiling. And we thought we heard fireworks from our backyard, but evidently they were two gunshots previously to this. >> Okay. My boyfriend says she might actually be one of our neighbors. He says he's seen her before and it's a family of children. While searching the neighborhood, officers spotted a woman matching the description, later identified as 34year-old Leandra Johnson. As they approached, Johnson immediately ran away on foot. >> Don't. >> She went in her purse. >> What the ground? Get on the ground. >> Hey, get over here. >> Why'd you shoot? Why' you shoot? >> Believing there could be an immediate threat, one officer discharged a single round, but Johnson was not struck. She then went to the ground and was safely taken into custody. A search of her purse and clothing did not locate a firearm. Even so, officers carefully secured the scene, knowing that critical evidence is not always found where people first expect it. >> No, she's not. She's inside. >> No. No. >> Call your dad. >> We got shots [screaming] fired over here. >> Call your dad. GO INSIDE. >> CALL YOUR DAD. Detectives later interviewed witnesses and obtained a search warrant for Johnson's residence. Investigators recovered an empty handgun box and matching ammunition linked to shell casings found at the scene. Although the firearm itself was never located, authorities stated that several family members had been inside the home during the incident and people had moved through the property before it was fully secured. Johnson was arrested for evading detention and investigators later obtained an additional warrant related to the reported firearm discharge. Fortunately, no one was physically injured, reminding us that every decision made during a critical incident can shape how safely it ends. Uh, drive, drive, drive. >> Late one evening in Arizona, USA, officers attempted to stop a U-Haul van after learning the driver was wanted on multiple felony warrants. What could have been a routine traffic stop quickly escalated into a dangerous pursuit through city streets with dispatch tracking every turn in real time. We got to be in pursuit. We're going to go east. Okay. Straight away pursuit. Uh east on a coming up to 84 north primary. I'm secondary. We're going to go north. We're going to go north. 84 again. Pursuit again. Hotel in pursuit. You all Arizona. Behind the wheel was 27-year-old Austin Krauss, who investigators said had previous felony convictions, including fleeing law enforcement and possessing stolen property. Unknown to the officers at the time, two passengers were also inside the rental van. Here we go. >> Ignoring emergency lights and sirens, Austin accelerated through residential streets, often reaching speeds of around 80 mph, driving against traffic at times and forcing other motorists to react within seconds. Every mile increased the risk not only for the officers, but for everyone sharing the road. Intake with a heads up. Frank is coming. in St. Frances now. Uh, drag, drag, drag. Not my best. >> After nearly 9 minutes and more than 12 miles of pursuit, the van began showing signs of heavy damage with one rear tire sending sparks across the pavement. Officers seized the opportunity to perform a pit maneuver, safely bringing the vehicle to a stop. Austin attempted to run on foot, but was quickly caught. The remaining occupants were also safely removed from the van while officers carefully searched everyone and secured the scene even after everything had ended. Body camera footage captured Austin remarking that the chase had been fun. A statement that stood in sharp contrast to the serious risks created during those few minutes. >> I just got out of the middle. Hold on. Don't dig. >> I'm digging. >> I'm a shooter. Hold on. >> All three occupants were medically evaluated, and investigators later confirmed that the U-Haul van had been heavily damaged. Court records show Austin was accused of multiple felony offenses, including fleeing law enforcement, reckless endangerment, narcotics possession, and resisting officers. The charges were further enhanced because of his criminal history. The case remains a powerful reminder that choosing to flee rarely avoids responsibility. It often leads to even greater legal consequences and puts countless innocent people in harm's way. >> I don't know how long, whatever. You want to just stand here for a second? I want to make sure I don't need anything for my car. Okay. >> On October 4th, 2023 in Indian River County, Florida, USA, deputies were alerted by the Jupiter Police Department about a suspect believed to be involved in a serious stabbing incident. Authorities reported that 28-year-old Nicholas Davidesco had fled northbound on Interstate 95 at a very high speed, prompting multiple law enforcement agencies to coordinate their response immediately. >> We're going to need sticks probably on the vehicle. He's not going to stop. He's in the left lane over 120 mph. >> Let us know when you go over the bridge. We're going to have suspects ready on the other side. Using license plate recognition cameras and real-time information from the county's real-time crime center, deputies tracked the suspect's vehicle as it entered Indian River County, patrol units in the Hawk helicopter worked together, sharing live updates while positioning themselves ahead of the fleeing vehicle. Despite repeated attempts to evade law enforcement, Partesco [music] found himself surrounded as officers carefully executed their plan. >> I'm getting ahead. I'm getting ahead. >> Trying to cut into the He's going to get stuck. He's in the water. He made it. He's might make it three guys if he can cut across back southbound. >> After several coordinated tactics were used to safely slow the vehicle, deputies successfully brought the pursuit to an end and took Partesco into custody without further incident. The operation demonstrated the value of teamwork, technology, and patience, proving that many dangerous pursuits can be resolved without placing additional people at unnecessary risk. Authorities later announced that Parchesco was booked into the Indian River County Jail and faced multiple [music] criminal allegations, including attempted murder and fleeing law enforcement. Officials also confirmed that no one was injured during the pursuit or the arrest. The case serves as a reminder that attempting to escape rarely changes the outcome, while calm decision-making and coordinated police work [music] can help protect both officers and the public. On September 3rd, 2022, at approximately 6:54 p.m. in Shiwasi County, Michigan, USA, Michigan State Police received information about a silver Ford Fusion that had fled from officers in neighboring Clinton County. Traveling at speeds well over 100 mph on Interstate 69, the vehicle quickly became a serious concern for everyone sharing the highway. 3513. He just passed me. >> 13. I'm in pursuit. >> Now he's going to pass on the right shoulder. Sergeant Berdan immediately moved into position while another trooper prepared stopsticks farther ahead in case the driver refused to stop. As expected, the suspect ignored the emergency lights and continued fleeing. While attempting to avoid the stopsticks, the Ford Fusion struck Sergeant Berdan's patrol vehicle before speeding into the grassy median. During the pursuit, the driver was seen throwing an object out of the driver's side window, adding another layer of concern to an already dangerous situation. He just ran me 76. No good. >> We crashed out. As the suspect's speed began to decrease on the median, Sergeant Berdan carefully executed a pit maneuver, bringing the pursuit to a safe conclusion. Officers quickly secured the driver, later identified as Edward Dante Ray Hardy, without any reported injuries. A K-9 team then searched the area where the object had been thrown and recovered a loaded handgun. Investigators also located suspected narcotics packaged for distribution, a digital scale, and cash inside the vehicle. On the ground. On the ground. >> On the ground. Get up. >> On the ground. >> Who else in the car? >> Who else is in the car? >> Relax. Relax. Relax. transferred to the Clinton County Jail to address the original fleeing case. While investigators sought additional charges in Shiwasi County based on the evidence recovered during the pursuit, fortunately, no injuries were reported throughout the incident. The case illustrates how a decision to flee can quickly escalate into a series of far more serious legal consequences. While the professionalism and restraint shown by responding officers help bring a dangerous situation under control without further harm. Yep. >> On a late evening in Detroit, Michigan, USA, Michigan State Police Aviation Trooper 3 tracked a suspect who had allegedly taken two vehicles while attempting to escape from officers. After leaving behind one stolen vehicle, the suspect reportedly entered a black Dodge Durango and continued fleeing through city streets, prompting a coordinated response from ground units and the aviation team. >> 15 priority going into the alley coming up to service through the 102 Chrysler Drive in Redwood. [music] >> Troopers positioned themselves along the suspect's expected route [music] while receiving constant updates from the helicopter overhead. As the Dodge Durango came into view, officers activated their emergency lights and sirens. But the driver refused to stop. Instead, the vehicle accelerated through city streets and freeways, reaching speeds above 120 mph, weaving through traffic, ignoring traffic signals and creating an increasingly dangerous situation for everyone nearby. Despite several opportunities, officers chose to wait for a safer moment before attempting to end the pursuit, placing public safety above everything else. Speeds are 80 mph. >> All right, we're actually off at Grand River. We're continuing westbound at the moment. 70 mph. We got median traffic in the left center lane now in the right center lane. The pursuit finally slowed as traffic became heavier near Grand River. Seizing the opportunity, a trooper performed a carefully planned pit maneuver, causing the SUV to spin and come to a stop after striking an abandoned building. The driver immediately jumped out and ran on foot, even attempting to open the door of a passing SUV before officers caught up and safely took him into custody. In just a few intense minutes, what had started as a vehicle pursuit turned into a foot chase, demonstrating how quickly unpredictable situations can unfold. Don't [ __ ] move. Don't [ __ ] move. >> Show me your horse. I got close. Y [laughter] >> the suspect was taken into custody, bringing the incident to an end. Thanks to the coordination between the aviation unit and officers on the ground, the pursuit was resolved before more people were placed at risk. The case serves as another reminder that attempting to flee from law enforcement often leads to greater legal consequences. While patience, teamwork, and disciplined decision-making remains some of the most effective tools officers have for protecting the public. We >> lost nothing. Serge, can you open up this car? Is this your car? Thank you. Drop it now. >> On Monday, November 13th, 2023, at approximately 2:30 p.m. in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, Louisville Metro Police officers responded to a reported domestic violence incident in the 1,000 block of Beecher Street. What began as a routine call quickly turned into a tense and unpredictable encounter. Officers found 38-year-old Jiren Bobbit sitting inside a vehicle while holding an AR- style pistol. Moments later, he ran through a densely populated neighborhood. Officers repeatedly called out, "Drop the gun." But every command was ignored. In situations like this, even a few seconds can change everything. Go, go, go, go, go, go. Put it down. >> Put the gun down. >> Put it down. >> Put it down. >> Put it down. >> PUT IT DOWN. >> PUT IT DOWN NOW. >> Drop the freaking gun. >> Drop it. >> Now. You back up. >> Shots fired. Shots fired. >> As the suspect raised the loaded firearm toward an officer, an officer discharged his service weapon to stop the immediate threat. The atmosphere shifted instantly. Within moments, officers moved in to secure the scene and immediately began providing emergency medical aid while requesting paramedics. It's >> a toy, it's a toy, it's a toy. Put your hands right. >> It's a handy. >> IT'S A TOY. I CAN'T MOVE. >> I see your hands. >> I can't move it. I got shot. My hands. >> Give me the other hand. Give me the other hand. Yes, sir. >> The suspect later claimed the firearm was only a toy, but investigators confirmed it was fully loaded with live ammunition. He was treated at a hospital before facing multiple charges related to domestic violence and fleeing from police. The victim also received medical treatment for several visible injuries. This case is another reminder that ignoring lawful commands can place everyone involved in unnecessary danger. [screaming] >> We got a tourniquet going. Get underground right now. >> On Tuesday, July 18th, 2023, at 7:47 a.m. in Seattle, Washington, USA, Seattle police officers responded to reports of a man assaulting several people near Second Avenue in Cherry Street. Officers arrived to find one victim suffering from a neck wound. While witnesses urgently pointed them toward the suspect's last known location. >> White male, black uh jacket, blue jean pants, carrying a You got to slow down. So, northbound on second. It's a white male. >> No, he's on the corner of First and Spring. >> Okay. >> With the help of witnesses, officers quickly located the suspect in the 100 block of Spring Street. He was still holding a knife. An officer first deployed a bolar wrap in an effort to safely end the encounter, but the situation remained tense. Officers continued issuing clear commands, [music] hoping the suspect would cooperate before anyone else was placed at risk. When the threat continued, [music] officer Cholo Ginter discharged his service weapon to stop the immediate danger. The scene changed in an instant as officers immediately secured the area, recovered the knife, and shifted their focus to providing emergency medical aid while paramedics were called to the scene. >> He's down. He's running back. He's got a knife. >> He's got a knife. >> The suspect was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment, while the injured victim was also taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Detectives from multiple investigative units responded to examine the incident. And as required by department policy, Officer Ginter was placed on paid administrative leave while the investigation continued. The case serves as another reminder that officers are often forced to make critical decisions within seconds when [music] public safety is at stake. >> Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. >> Stop. Stop. Daddy. >> On Thursday, July 20th, 2023, at approximately 4:54 a.m. in Austin, Texas, USA, Austin police received a 911 call reporting that a frightened woman was being chased through an apartment complex by a man believed to be armed with a knife. Within minutes, officers arrived and began speaking with the woman, who described the suspect and the terrifying moments she had just experienced. >> How are you? You doing all right? >> You can put your hands down. You can put your hands down with the gray one. We have two cars here. That is mine. He chased me past these people Airbnbs or Sorry, I don't know what these are. >> James, NO. >> DROP THE KNIFE. Drop the knife. One at gunpoint. One at gunpoint. DROP THE KNIFE. DROP THE KNIFE. DROP THE KNIFE. >> Kill me. At about 5:00 or 6:00 a.m., the man later identified as 60-year-old James Woodro, suddenly approached the officers while holding a knife. Officers repeatedly ordered him to drop the weapon and worked to deescalate the situation. Instead, he continued moving forward and repeatedly shouted for officers to shoot him. Two taser deployments were attempted, but neither stopped his advance. Every passing second increased the pressure on everyone at the scene. >> Okay, get back. >> Stop approaching. >> Stop approaching. Stop. >> Shut up, [ __ ] >> Drop the knife. >> No. Shoot me. >> Stop. Stop. Daddy. >> David 81. Shots fired. Start EMS. >> As Wood Romero continued closing the distance while still holding the knife, officer Adam Reinhardt discharged his service weapon to stop the immediate threat. Once the scene was secure and the knife was safely removed, officers immediately began providing emergency medical care and requested additional medical assistance. >> Get back. Get back. >> Get back. Get back. Get the knife. >> Despite every effort by first responders, the encounter came to a heartbreaking conclusion. No officers or bystanders were physically injured during the incident. Following department policy, the officer who discharged his firearm along with the two officers who deployed tasers were placed on administrative leave while the investigation moved forward. The incident is a powerful reminder that even with repeated attempts to deescalate, some situations can unfold beyond anyone's hopes, leaving lasting impacts on everyone involved. warning you something. >> Just let them know CPR is being administered. >> In August 2023, in Thomasville, Georgia, USA, Thomas County drug agents arrived at a home on Magnolia Street to serve a court authorized search warrant. What started as a planned law enforcement operation quickly became an intense confrontation captured by body camera footage. >> Y'all had to scare me out here. After clearing the residence, deputies learned that 37year-old Herbert Gilbert Jr. was outside inside an SUV. As officers moved in, the vehicle was boxed in and pushed into a nearby yard. Deputies repeatedly instructed Gilbert to get out of the SUV, but the vehicle began rolling backward, creating a rapidly changing and uncertain situation. In moments like these, every decision carries enormous weight. Believing there was an immediate threat, Deputy Josh Smith discharged his service weapon through the windshield to stop the vehicle's movement. Officers then secured the scene and first responders immediately began providing emergency medical assistance as family members and neighbors gathered nearby. Hey Thomas EMS now 419 Magnolia. >> A later grand jury review determined that the deputy's actions were legally justified under the circumstances. Investigators also reported recovering marijuana cash and a set of scales from the scene. Although the incident sparked several days of public protests and may continue through civil proceedings, it remains a powerful reminder of how quickly high-risisk warrant operations can escalate and leave lasting consequences for everyone involved. [screaming] >> I got you. [screaming] [screaming] Don't move. Don't move. On April 15th, 2026, around 5:00 p.m. in East Lansing, Michigan, USA, employees at a Marco's Pizza called 911 after 21-year-old Isaiah Kirby allegedly entered the restaurant, acting like a delivery driver, went behind the counter, and started eating food that was not his. Staff repeatedly asked him to leave while the atmosphere slowly became tense. At that moment, nobody thought the day would change so quickly. >> GET ON THE [ __ ] GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. [screaming] >> Don't move. Don't move. Don't move. Show your hands. >> Don't move. Don't move. [screaming] PUT THE KNIFE DOWN. >> PUT THE KNIFE DOWN. GO LESS LETHAL. GO less lethal. >> Officers responding to the original disturbance were updated and later located Kirby near Abbott Road. Body cam footage showed officers giving repeated commands while trying to control the scene. Everything unfolded within moments and left little time to react. Shots fired. >> Emergency aid was provided immediately. NEOC received urgent treatment and gradually recovered. The incident became a reminder that even small choices can sometimes lead to consequences far beyond expectations. >> Here you go. Get chest seals. >> All right, we got blood there. >> Yep. Got shoes. See couple holes over here. >> On March 25th, 2026, at approximately 3:57 p.m. in Houston, Texas, USA, a police officer responded to a report about a suspicious man carrying a pink bag and reportedly walking near a school area. Officers soon located 36-year-old Barra at Muhammad Al-Quda, matching the description. What started as a routine response quickly began to feel more serious. 1713 pop. Drop the bag. Drop the bag. Drop the bag. Drop the bag. Sir, DROP THE BAG. Drop the bag. >> The officer approached and repeatedly gave commands, asking him to put the bag down. People nearby likely hoped the encounter would end peacefully, but within moments, the atmosphere changed and the suspect ran toward a nearby apartment complex. Shoot the bag. [screaming] The officer continued the pursuit while giving commands to stop. Even after being affected during the encounter, he kept moving forward and focused on protecting the area. Body cam footage later showed how quickly every second mattered. Emergency aid was provided immediately at the scene. The officer received treatment for injuries that were not life-threatening and recovered. The incident became another reminder that situations near public places can change far faster than anyone expects. [ __ ] [ __ ] Stop for a second. >> On December 19th, 2025, around 10:15 p.m. in Rochester, New York, USA, a man called 911 reporting that his girlfriend's former boyfriend was allegedly trying to enter her home on Chile Avenue and might be carrying a firearm. Officers arrived expecting a domestic disturbance, but no one realized how quickly the situation would change. Yeah. >> Yeah. I'm going to check the back. Hey, you got some open in the front. >> Officers located 38-year-old Eric Davis near the side of the house. Within seconds, the scene became chaotic as loud sounds echoed through the neighborhood and people nearby tried to move to safety. A simple emergency call had suddenly turned into something much more serious. DON'T DO IT. STOP. I'M STUCK. >> I'M SHOT. I'M SHOT. I'M SHOT. I'm shot. >> Hey man, stop for a second. >> Stop for a second. Show me your >> hand. Start searching right now. >> Even after being seriously affected, one officer continued providing suspect information while being transported for treatment. That determination helped responding units continue searching and keep the situation under control. Sometimes courage appears in the middle of the hardest moments. >> GIVE ME THE CAR. GIVE ME THE CAR. >> Suspect's down. I'm holding at least someone gets down right now. >> Several people received medical treatment and later began recovery. The incident left difficult memories, but it also showed how teamwork and quick action can protect an entire community. Slow down. Slow down. On January 5th, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida, USA, residents at an apartment complex on Ingret's Nest Drive, reported a heated argument involving 34year-old Daniel Rodriguez. Witnesses also said he appeared to be carrying a handgun. What started as a family dispute was already drawing concern from everyone nearby. >> We turned around. That was right behind us. That garage right there, not the one that's open, but I think it's the middle one. >> All right. >> Looked like a black gray some kind of dark Tesla. And there was a woman the moment that I turned around and I was trying to rush my girlfriend over to those bushes to get away from what was happening. She was like double fist slamming down on the hood of the car. I don't know. I didn't see any altercation prior to that. I don't know how it started. >> Officers Jay Rodri and Jay Milum first spoke with Rodriguez's wife in the parking lot and confirmed an argument had taken place. While the conversation was still ongoing, Rodriguez appeared near the residence. Officers approached and asked whether he was carrying a weapon. In moments like this, every answer matters. being or something. >> Cuz there's a lot of silence. >> All right. >> Excuse me. >> Do you have any weapons on you? >> Why are you rolling up on me? >> Hey, SERIOUSLY. >> GET BACK. GET BACK. >> THE SITUATION changed quickly when officers attempted to secure the scene and a struggle followed. Backup units arrived shortly after while officers focused on protecting everyone nearby and bringing the incident under control. The calm atmosphere from only minutes earlier had completely disappeared. >> Hey, get off of him. Get off of him. Yes. Hey, >> baby. >> Okay, we'll deal with that. Just give me a second. >> Out of the way. >> Get my baby. >> Sit down. >> Emergency aid was provided immediately and investigators later recovered additional evidence connected to the case. The incident became another reminder that arguments driven by emotion can sometimes lead to consequences far beyond the original conflict. >> Okay, we'll deal with that. >> Julian 660, suspects down 477. They're trying to detain the victim. >> Get my baby. On May 5th, 2020, around 11:00 a.m. in Sebastian County, Arkansas, USA, Corporal Morris was traveling north on Highway 71 when he noticed a red pickup moving at an extremely high speed. Radar later showed the vehicle was traveling at about 104 mph. What looked like a speeding violation was about to become much bigger. >> 12 for myself 18 and 27 in the Witcherville area. 71 in Dayton Road. >> 10 471 Dayton Road. Right. Four >> for Smith. Uh >> the officer activated lights and sirens and tried to catch up, but the driver kept moving. During the pursuit, dispatch informed units that the pickup had been reported stolen earlier and there might be a firearm inside. Suddenly, every vehicle on the road felt a little more vulnerable. Are you in the front yet 13? >> More units joined the pursuit as the vehicle moved through several roads. Officers worked together trying to bring the situation under control while keeping the public safe. The tension kept rising with every turn the truck made. Page 15 Contact subject on they did not see ocean. The pursuit finally ended after officers used tactical driving methods and the suspect was taken into custody. The incident became another reminder that reckless decisions on the road can place many people in danger within only a few minutes. Yeah, >> he crashed out. roll over MBA in front of me healthcare. >> On February 18th, 2024, around 5:36 p.m. in North Olmstead, Ohio, USA, Officer Ricky Jurgens noticed a 2003 PT cruiser entering the Great Northern Mall area with no visible license plate and only one working brake light. At first, it looked like a routine traffic stop that officers handle every day. Keep doing that. The officer activated emergency lights and sirens, but the vehicle did not stop and continued moving through the mall area before heading toward Brook Park Road. During the pursuit, the driver appeared to make several movements inside the vehicle, raising concern for responding units. The situation was becoming more serious with every minute. Two crash cars roll over MBA in front of O'Neal Healthcare a squad. The pursuit later reached higher speeds before the vehicle lost control and rolled over. When officers approached, they discovered a one-year-old child still secured safely in a child's seat inside the vehicle. That moment changed the entire tone of the incident. >> He's I will stay right there. Just spread your legs and feet out. >> Okay. Uh we got an ambulance coming. >> Hi, buddy. Hi. Where's your driver? >> He's laying on the ground right here. >> Oh, >> right here. Put your hands behind your back. Hands behind your back. >> Where's he? Where's everyone at? Where's everyone at? >> Go to him. >> All right. >> Additional evidence was collected at the scene and child protective services was notified due to the child being involved. The incident became a reminder that decisions made behind the wheel can affect more than just the driver. >> Anything got you? Listen. What's this gonna poke us, stick us, hurt us? Guns, bombs, drugs, knives. >> Do my hand. >> Do you have anything on these? >> I'll do it. I'll do it. I promise I'll do it. >> But I just wanted her to ask. On September 3rd, 2022 in Tampa, Florida, USA, Tampa police stopped a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old woman during what initially appeared to be a routine traffic investigation.
