[Music] well lake D Diaz is one of the spots that we check as a cop that particular day I backed up and I noticed a boat that was spinning around in the middle and I got out of my unit I walked up to the dock I could not see nobody in the boat whatsoever so I come back up I got on my radio I called dispatch I asked them to send me a deputy part of our strategy when we got on scene was to get to the outside of the boat to try and you know stop the boat and when we realized that we were getting closer to Shore and it wasn't working we pulled out kind of regrouped um and now I started using my wake of the boat to push them push him closer to Shore and hopefully that the shoreline would have disabled his boat these are Dynamic situations we get on scene and assess it and and we try things and in this particular case we try things that weren't working so we reassessed and found a different way to get it [Music] [Music] stopped hey just heye that wef yeah here we're going to take him by boat back over there hey here boat off yeah go I see it looks like a diabetes kid here so put him on the deck up in the front so we we had all those resources on scene at that point um fire rescue was there there was an ambulance on scene it was a matter of us getting him from that boat to Shore and it was only a matter of a minute or two and and then he was in the care of of EMS so um and then from there they took him to a hospital okay I'm coming out then we're good to go right he 15
