Open your [ __ ] dart. >> Get your hands out. >> Hey, adrenaline junkies. Welcome to Police Chase. Today, we're kicking off a brand new series. When people messed with the wrong cops, where every dumb move instantly triggers justice mode. All right, let's dive in. Open your [ __ ] door. >> On January 20th at around 9:00 a.m. in Glendale, Arizona, USA, officer Anthony Kano noticed a red sedan stopped near 61st and Glendale Avenues after an apparent collision. Inside was 29-year-old Abel Rodriguez. What looked like a routine check was about to take an unexpected turn. 1050 >> 21. David, do we have any reports of a red Mubichi that's been involved in an accident? >> Just over a minute later, police say Rodriguez suddenly revealed a concealed firearm and used it toward Kano. The officer quickly backed away, radioed a 998, and ordered, "Get on the ground." In seconds, the quiet roadside scene became intensely unpredictable. >> Don't be indoor. I'll be indoor. Nothing seems to hold you. >> Open your [ __ ] door. >> 21 David 98. >> Authorities say Rodriguez then stepped from the car and continued the confrontation, forcing Kano to respond. While waiting for backup, Kano still warned nearby residents to remain indoors and firmly called out, "Do not reach for that gun again." Even under pressure, protecting others remained part of the mission. 22 Edward, >> GET ON THE GROUND. >> 22, WE'RE GOING TO STAY OFF THE air for 21 Glendale just south. >> All units, full traffic for 61 and Glendale. >> GET ON THE GROUND. >> GET INSIDE YOUR HOUSE. >> Adam 6823. >> GET ON THE GROUND. GET BACK IN YOUR HOUSE. GET ON THE [screaming] GROUND. GET AWAY FROM THE HOUSE. GET INSIDE [screaming] YOUR HOUSE. DO NOT REACH FOR THAT GUN ANYMORE. >> Ko was unharmed. Rodriguez was injured, treated at the scene, and taken to a hospital. A routine check had changed in moments. A reminder that one sudden choice can leave consequences long after the sirens fade. Stay inside your house. Get in your house. Be advised, I have one subject. Get your hands out. >> On September 7th on 27th Avenue in Sacramento, California, USA, officers were pursuing 41-year-old Eric Arnold, a suspect wanted in connection with a double homicide investigation from September 1st. Body cam and dash cam captured what followed, and within moments, the pursuit took a dangerous turn. >> You got it. All right. >> Back right here. >> Police say Arnold suddenly left his vehicle, moved toward the officers, and opened fire. Five officers responded as the scene changed from pursuit to confrontation in seconds. When everything happens this fast, there is almost no room for hesitation. >> Put your hands UP WHERE I CAN SEE THEM. GET YOUR HANDS [screaming] UP. FIRED. FIVE. Shots fired. I'm hit. >> I'm hit. I'm hit. >> During the exchange, two officers were struck, but their colleagues continued responding until the immediate threat was stopped. What began as a pursuit had become a test of teamwork and courage under extraordinary pressure. Oh, [ __ ] >> My leg. My My leg. >> Leg. >> Yeah. >> All right. All right. Can you move? >> Uh-huh. >> Ready? >> Are you ready? >> Who's hit? Who's hit? Are you ready? Okay. Go back. >> The two injured officers were taken to the hospital and later released to recover. The encounter leaves a simple reminder. One reckless decision can change many lives in seconds. While calm coordination can help protect others when it matters most. Clear 96 green matter clear. Okay. >> In Douglas County, Georgia, USA, former NFL player Quantress Smith was accused of taking part in an armed incident at an AT&T store on Thornton Road. Authorities say Smith and two other men allegedly took several iPhones before leaving the area. Soon after, deputies spotted their vehicle and the situation quickly escalated. Instead of stopping, the vehicle sped away, leading deputies into a high-speed pursuit captured on dash cam. With every passing second, the danger grew. Not only for those involved, but for everyone sharing the road. >> The pursuit finally ended in a crash, allowing officers to move in and bring the situation under control. Authorities later reported recovering a black handgun from the scene. One risky decision after another had now reached its inevitable stopping point. Smith was taken into custody and faced multiple charges, including armed robbery, theft, and fleeing police, and was reportedly denied bond. From professional football to serious legal trouble, his story carries a sobering reminder. Past success cannot erase the consequences of present choices. >> Is that guns? On September 10th, 2026, at around 5:00 a.m. in Spring Hill, Florida, USA, Hernando County deputies and SWAT officers arrived at a residence with a search warrant related to an illegal narcotics investigation. Officers repeatedly announced their presence before approaching the door. But what happened next came without warning. >> Anthony, please exit the front door with your hands up. This is the Ho County Sheriff's Office. Ho County Sheriff's Office. Please access the front door with your hands up. Residents 8374 coral. Anthony Cusady and all the residents, please assist the residents with their hands up through the front door. >> As the team prepared to enter, authorities say 29-year-old Anthony Cusadi suddenly fired several rounds through the door. Body cam captured one deputy quickly moving back and repeating, "I'm hit." In seconds, a carefully planned operation had turned into [music] an emergency. Watch out with your hands up. >> Oh, hey. Break it. Unlock it. Break. >> Is that guns? >> Two deputies were injured, one in the arm and another in the leg and chest area. Despite the pressure, officers stayed coordinated, helped their wounded colleagues, secured the scene, and eventually took Cusade into custody. Moments like this show how quickly training and teamwork can become crucial. >> On tight, bro. >> Watch over here. We had lights in the garage. Ah, >> both deputies were later released from the hospital and expected to recover. Kusati was arrested and faced multiple serious charges, including 12 counts related to the confrontation with law enforcement. One [music] impulsive choice had turned an early morning operation into consequences that could last for years. [screaming] >> I'm I'm moving. I'm moving. I'm moving. I'm moving. I'm moving. 37. >> On September 4th, 2026, at around 900 p.m. on Kelly Highway in Fort Smith, Arkansas, USA, an officer noticed a vehicle approaching from behind at 47 mph in a 40 milipe were zone with its high beams on in an expired registration. What began as a routine traffic stop was about to become far more complicated. What's his age 35? >> Oh, what's he doing? >> Oh, he's not stopping. >> I'll be 1024 with the vehicle here at Kelly and 50th, Arkansas. Adam Boy Henry, 42. Adam Boy Henry, 42 Tom. The driver continued on and cut through a busy gas station parking lot to avoid an intersection. With customers nearby and the risk growing, officers moved to stop the vehicle before the situation went any further. >> And now we're coming up to 50th cent. This guy's turn signal like he's going to turn left. >> Received. CFS comments added. >> CFS comments added. Let's see. >> No, we're turning northbound. >> We're at >> Kelly and 50 northbound. >> Negative. >> Go ahead. >> Forgot what's going on. See if comments parking lot going on to Johnson Street. The driver identified as Damongo Melendez was slow to follow commands, so the officer switched from English to Spanish and eventually brought him safely under control. Staying calm can make all the difference when tension is rising. tomatoes. Tomato tomatoes. >> No, no, no. >> Let go your [ __ ] keys. >> It is mental. No. >> The officer reported signs of alcohol use and Melendez later admitted consuming seven beers before trying to drive home. He was taken to the Fort Smith Police Department where he declined further testing. A short drive home had instead become a lasting reminder. Getting behind the wheel after drinking can put far more than one person at risk. >> Can we keep this to a minimum? I'm 15. There's another occupation vehicle >> near Cabat, Arkansas, USA. Police were pursuing a black Ford F-150 after a traffic related issue. As the truck continued onto Peter Road, an Arkansas trooper joined the pursuit and took the lead. A minor roadside matter was quickly becoming something much more serious. pass still north on Peters speed at 40. We're still >> north 28 to boy y 26 26 left. activ. >> With no other motorists or pedestrians nearby, the trooper looked for a safe opportunity to end the pursuit. After noticing houses on one side of the road, he carefully repositioned his patrol car for a tactical vehicle intervention. The maneuver rotated the F-150 toward the shoulder where it overturned and came to rest on its roof. Officers immediately approached, but the driver, identified as Karen Foster, initially refused repeated commands to exit and held onto the steering wheel. After a tense struggle, she eventually came out through the passenger side and was taken into custody. Don't jerk on me. >> Nope. I'm done with this. I'm done with this. >> God damn it. I SAID DON'T JERK on me. >> I don't care what you said. GET OUT OF THE CAR. >> COME ON ME. >> GOD, DUDE. She's [ __ ] sweating. >> I have a bad night, [ __ ] >> Cross her arm. You're about to get tased if you don't [ __ ] comply. >> Do you understand me? >> I CAN'T GET OUT. GODAMN IT. >> GET OUT OF THE CAR. >> Get out. You can get out your leg and get out of the car. >> Can't get a grip on her. She's sweating. Disgusting. Foster was checked by medical personnel while her truck was left disabled and the patrol vehicle sustained minor damage. What began with a traffic related issue ended with an overturned vehicle. A reminder of how quickly choosing to flee can turn a simple encounter into a far greater risk. On January 31st, 2026, at around 11:22 p.m. near Little Rock, Arkansas, USA, troopers were pursuing a white Dodge Durango at speeds exceeding 120 mph. After one patrol unit was involved in a collision, other troopers continued the search. Then the Durango appeared again and the pursuit was back on. Jacksonville 23 is primary. I am secondary. I'm right up drive approaching St. Luke's. He's about to get 440 westbound. 440 westbound. 23. If you get a chance, just hit him. The top powering goes all over the road. >> All right, he's breaking. Stay back. >> The driver, later identified as Nelly Alaman, accelerated past 100 mph in a 35 mm zone before reaching more than 130 mph on the interstate. Police say the SUV repeatedly changed lanes and break sharply as troopers tried to close the distance. At those speeds, every movement carried enormous risk. All right, he's going 440 west. Excuse me, 40 west. 440. >> After an earlier intervention failed, another opportunity appeared on I40. A trooper successfully performed a tactical vehicle intervention, finally bringing the Durango to a stop. Alaman was taken into custody while three passengers were detained and later released. After such a relentless chase, the sudden silence at the roadside said everything. SHOW ME YOUR [ __ ] HANDS. GET YOUR HANDS UP NOW. [screaming] DO IT NOW. >> Open the door. >> Open the door. >> Open the door. >> Watch them. Make sure their hands are up. Open the door. >> Are you going to kill me? >> Open the door. You're going to kill me. OPEN THE DOOR. >> YOU'RE GOING TO KILL ME. YOU'RE GOING to kill me. >> Put your hands right here. Put your hands right here. >> Kill me. You're going to kill me. >> Do not move. >> Stay where you at. >> Pull me out the car. >> STAY DOWN NOW. >> I'm It was me. It wasn't me. >> Put your hands on your head. >> Officers reported signs of alcohol use and Alaman later acknowledged being intoxicated. After receiving medical clearance, she was taken to the Palaski County Regional Detention Facility and faced multiple charges related to fleeing, reckless driving, impaired driving, and other alleged violations. A decision to keep running had turned one night on the road into consequences that could follow for years. >> Stand up. >> Stand up. >> Stand up. My hair. >> Oh, okay. Change me. On January 25th, 2024, at around 3:23 p.m. near Camp Creek Marketplace in East Point, Georgia, USA, a trooper received an alert for a Chevrolet Malibu with a reported stolen license plate. He soon spotted a matching vehicle on Commerce Drive. But as he moved in to investigate, the driver suddenly sped away. Great Chevy Malibu. Uh, go ahead. Contact East one if you can. Um, tech is my Sam John Tom New Jersey B90. Uh, we're over here by Target and the marketplace. Stand by. We almost lost you. Almost lost it. >> Uh Shelby Lane coming up the lows off [music] of uh Commerce. The Malibu moved recklessly through parking lots, ignored traffic signs, and continued onto I285 before returning toward Camp Creek Parkway. With other drivers nearby, every turn added another layer of risk. Officers now had to find a safe opportunity to bring the pursuit to an end. And 35 traffic right here. We're southbound [music] on 35 mile over left shoulder. Driver, watch your road. >> Oh, okay. 1050. He just blew two tires. Stand by. >> Got my washer roll. Black tires. After the vehicle crossed a raised divider, a trooper found an opening and performed a pit maneuver, disabling the Malibu. The driver identified as Marquavius TK Beasley then ran from the vehicle. One taser attempt was unsuccessful, but another trooper's deployment stopped the foot pursuit and officers took Beasley into custody. I got him. Let him go. LET HIM GO. GET ON THE DAMN GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. >> OKAY. Roll over. ROLL OVER. ROLL OVER. I can't quit doing it again. >> I got I got another car. Put your [ __ ] hands down behind your back. Authorities later reported that Beasley's license was cancelled and that he had multiple outstanding warrants in Fulton and Clayton counties. After those warrants were confirmed, he was transported to the Clayton County jail. What started with a vehicle alert had grown into a dangerous pursuit. A reminder that running from one problem often creates many more. Talk to me while we run for the police. >> That's what I'm saying. I didn't do nothing. >> Okay. And then be honest. Uh-huh. >> I'm scared. >> You scared? On June 3rd, 2026, at approximately 2:39 p.m. in Conway, Arkansas, USA, trooper Tyler Riyles observed a gray SUV traveling recklessly on US Highway 65, weaving through traffic and reaching speeds far above the posted limit. Highway 65 Pickles Gap Arkansas 543 Union Nora Union 5.3 UNU on the gray Pennsylvania >> 242. >> After recording the vehicle traveling at 86 mph in a 55 mph zone, the trooper turned around and activated his emergency lights and siren. Although the driver, later identified as Leah the 50th, Taylor appeared to notice the patrol vehicle, she continued driving and ignored repeated instructions to pull over. >> HEY, PULL OVER. She's still failing to yield. I pulled up beside her, yield failing to yield. Team 4244 67. >> As the pursuit entered Conway, the danger increased. Taylor drove through a red light, changed lanes unpredictably, crossed a concrete median, and briefly entered oncoming traffic while continuing to evade law enforcement. With nearby motorists at risk and only seconds to react, troopers were forced to end the pursuit before the situation became even more dangerous. TBI, but y'all are on the 125. >> The pursuit ended after a successful tactical intervention, and Taylor was taken into custody without further incident. Investigators later determined that the vehicle had been taken without the owner's permission. She was subsequently charged with multiple offenses, including fleeing, reckless driving, and unauthorized use of a vehicle. Looking back, the case is a reminder that refusing to stop for law enforcement can quickly escalate a routine traffic violation into a series of decisions with lasting consequences. On March 14th, 2024, at approximately 4:03 p.m. in Indian River County, Florida, USA, Deputy A Brady attempted to stop a silver Mercedes-Benz SUV after discovering that the license plate displayed on the vehicle did not match its registration records. It's >> north on 49th A. 31st ran a stop light stop sign for a second. >> As soon as emergency lights and sirens were activated, the driver, later identified as Nafert Dudes, accelerated away from the patrol vehicle. She proceeded through several residential streets, ignored multiple stop signs, and narrowly avoided collisions while continuing to flee. The situation became increasingly dangerous when the SUV began traveling in the opposite direction of traffic and crossed multiple lanes while attempting to evade officers concerned for the safety of nearby drivers and pedestrians. Deputies were forced to take action to bring the pursuit to an end before someone was seriously harmed. out. >> The pursuit ended after the vehicle left the roadway and became stuck in a ditch, allowing deputies to safely take the driver into custody. Investigators later discovered the driver had multiple license suspensions, an extensive history of similar violations, and was classified as a habitual traffic offender. The case serves as another reminder that repeated disregard for traffic laws can eventually escalate into situations that put entire communities at risk. 19. [screaming] >> Oh. >> On November 29th, 2018 in Pasco County, Florida, USA. Deputies spotted a driver fleeing after an alleged snatching incident near US19 in Flora Avenue. There's going to be uh golf straight 19. >> Oh, the victim signal three is now. >> God damn it. >> Moments later, the driver lost control and struck Deputy Henrichy's patrol vehicle at approximately 70 mph and impact captured on body cam. In a split second, the danger officers had tried to reduce came directly to one of their own. >> You okay? Like go sit down. Come here. >> The suspect ran from the scene but was apprehended shortly afterward. Fortunately, both he and Deputy Henrichie sustained only minor injuries. One reckless escape had turned seconds of speed into consequences that could have been far worse. >> Get this gate open. On April 15th, 2023, at approximately 3:13 p.m. in Brevard County, Florida, USA, an FHP trooper spotted a black Hyundai linked to suspected drug trafficking traveling at 80 mph in a 70 mila zone. When the trooper attempted a traffic stop, the driver accelerated away. Uh 611 stop at uh 91. Yeah. The Hyundai began weaving through traffic and even used the emergency shoulder to get ahead. The trooper stayed behind with lights and siren activated while every sudden maneuver increased the risk for everyone sharing the road. Super right on the shoulder. Approaching 23. Do you like the generation Russian? >> As the pursuit continued, speed and traffic left almost no room for error. How far was the driver willing to push his luck just to avoid a traffic stop? What began with a speeding violation had quickly become a dangerous situation on a busy Florida highway. I wonder. The driver's actions became the subject of a criminal investigation. He may have tried to leave the trooper behind, but not the consequences of his choices. On the road, a few reckless seconds can create consequences that last far longer than the chase itself. >> Lay down. Lay down. Lay down. We've got you in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. Broward Sheriff's Office deputies and Florida Highway Patrol troopers were monitoring a black Mercedes SUV linked to multiple active warrants. When troopers attempted a traffic stop, the driver refused to cooperate and sped away. That's BSO as well. Let me see. >> Authorities identified the primary suspect as 20-year-old Doron Tate Jr., who faced new allegations, including aggravated fleeing and grand theft. Sherid Moley was also arrested, and officers recovered three firearms. A second chance can open a new path, but the choices made afterwards still determine where that path leads. On January 9th, 2026, at approximately 10:29 a.m. in Lee County, Florida, USA, Florida Highway Patrol troopers were alerted to an active pursuit involving a stolen black Hyundai Kona traveling northbound on Interstate 75. A trooper positioned near mile marker 133 soon spotted the vehicle approaching at a high rate of speed. As emergency lights and sirens were activated, the driver immediately accelerated, reaching speeds well over 100 mph while weaving through traffic. middle. >> Despite repeated orders to pull over, the driver continued fleeing. even using the shoulder to pass other vehicles. Four vehicles sustained damage during the pursuit, including several patrol units and the stolen Hyundai. Authorities later filed multiple charges related to fleeing law enforcement and reckless driving. Looking back, this case highlights how one decision to run can place countless lives at risk and leave a trail of consequences that extend far beyond a single moment on the road. >> I'd like my fourth, fifth, and eighth amendment rights. >> Okay. So, I'm going to take that as a note. Okay. before I give you my first amendment right. On February 6th, 2024 in Sebring, Florida, USA, a deputy on routine patrol spotted a vehicle near Spider Road and Cow Ranch Road. The moment the deputy turned around to investigate, the driver accelerated away at an alarming speed. Heat. Heat. Emergency lights and sirens were activated, but the driver continued fleeing along Sparta Road before reaching State Road 66. During the pursuit, the vehicle exceeded 130 mph, repeatedly passed other vehicles in dangerous conditions, and came close to causing several serious collisions. Barely able to control it. Vehicle's almost a [screaming] need up there with me. As the chase crossed into Hardy County, the suspect lost control during a sharp turn, but quickly continued fleeing. The situation reached its peak when the driver intentionally rammed a marked patrol vehicle, damaging the cruiser and injuring a deputy. Even then, the suspect continued attempting to escape, forcing officers to take decisive action to stop the vehicle before anyone else was harmed. Bravo 3, do not hit that car. 33 traffic, we got to stop. >> The vehicle was eventually disabled and the driver, identified as Jaquan Salvales Hall, was taken into custody. Investigators later determined he had fled from a marked patrol unit, driven recklessly at extreme speeds, struck a law enforcement vehicle, and operated the vehicle without a valid license. The incident serves as a powerful reminder that one reckless decision behind the wheel can rapidly escalate into a situation that endangers officers, motorists, and the driver alike. >> I was free right now. >> Okay. Y'all okay? You okay? I got >> on May 2nd, 2023 at approximately 12:56 p.m. on Interstate 75 in Sarasota County, Florida, USA, authorities received multiple reports of a white Ford Ranger speeding, swerving between lanes, using the shoulder to pass, and allegedly throwing metal objects from the vehicle. Florida Highway Patrol troopers soon located the truck heading north. 79. When trooper Pierre Louu activated his emergency lights, the driver immediately moved onto the shoulder and accelerated away. Another trooper joined the pursuit with lights and siren on, but the Ford continued fleeing. Every unpredictable move made an already busy interstate even more dangerous. Okay. When the truck finally slowed enough, a trooper saw an opportunity and performed a pit maneuver, immediately ending the pursuit. The Ford spun onto the shoulder and stopped. Its driver, Philip John Kenny, was then taken into custody without further incident. me. Hands up. Hands up. Put your hands up. >> Afterward, Kenny repeatedly claimed someone was chasing him. A vehicle search found no signs of narcotics activity, though officers documented two empty prescription bottles. Kenny was charged with reckless driving and fleeing law enforcement before being processed into Sarasota County Jail. Sometimes the greatest danger begins when fear or confusion takes control behind the wheel. On October 10th, 2023, at approximately 9:31 p.m. in Hernando County, Florida, USA, troopers pursued a red Dodge after its driver showed signs of possible impairment and refused to stop. The pursuit continued south into Pasco County with the vehicle traveling at high speed and repeatedly drifting across the center line. Heat. Heat. The situation intensified on Tommy Trail where the Dodge collided with trooper Rozelle's patrol vehicle during an attempted pit maneuver, leaving his unit disabled. Trooper Galloway then took the lead, performed another pit, and sent the Dodge spinning off the roadway before it came to a stop against a tree. The driver abandoned the vehicle and ran into nearby woods. Trooper Galloway followed, repeatedly ordering him to stop. When the driver attempted to cross a barbed wire fence, a taser was deployed, allowing officers to finally bring the tent's pursuit under control. 85 goes. >> The driver was later identified as Joseé Manuel Feliz. During field sobriety exercises, officers documented several signs of possible impairment, and police later declined to provide breath samples. After receiving medical clearance, he was booked into the Hernando County Jail. What began as unusual driving had escalated into a pursuit, a crash, and a foot chase, a reminder of how one decision [music] to keep running can turn a bad situation into something far more serious. Right there question [music] Leave him for right now. We're going to Is your car open? >> Come on. Come on. Let's go. >> LET GO OF THEM. Behind the wheel was 21-year-old Ian Jimenez. What began as a routine patrol was about to take an unexpected turn. After confirming the vehicle status, officers requested backup. However, before additional units could arrive, Jimenez suddenly accelerated and sped away. The pursuit was quickly called off after the vehicle collided with another occupied car, leaving a community member with minor injuries. Jimes then abandoned the vehicle and disappeared into a nearby residential neighborhood as officers established a perimeter around the area. Where'd he go? >> Get the [ __ ] back here. A short time later, Jimenez was located exiting the rear of a residence. During the encounter, he resisted efforts to surrender and managed to run once again. But with officers on the ground and aerial support tracking his movements, the search narrowed quickly. Sometimes the harder someone tries to escape responsibility, the more difficult the situation becomes. >> Turn around. Turn around. Turn around. Turn around. He's over. >> Approximately one block away, a second K-9 team successfully located and detained Jimenez. He was transported to a hospital for evaluation and treatment before being cleared for booking. No officers were injured during the incident. The case serves as another reminder that a single decision to flee can create unnecessary risks for everyone involved. While cooperation often prevents a situation from escalating beyond control, don't move. Everybody on the ground. There you go. >> All the way down. Get on the ground. >> All the way down. >> Turn around. Turn around. Turn around. On April 20th, 2021, at approximately 3:46 p.m. in Pauling County, Georgia, USA, a state trooper observed a silver Nissan Morano committing several traffic violations near Witworth Church Loop and Highway 90. What appeared to be a routine traffic stop soon turned into a dangerous chain of events that put countless motorists at risk. After stopping the vehicle, the trooper asked the driver to move into a safer location away from traffic. As the officer returned to his patrol car, the driver suddenly accelerated and fled. At first, the trooper believed there may have been a misunderstanding, but within moments, it became clear that the driver had no intention of stopping. Speeds quickly climbed, eventually reaching nearly 110 mph in a 45 mph zone. The pursuit continued as the Nissan weaved through traffic and repeatedly failed to maintain its lane. Ahead was a busy intersection known for heavy traffic, creating a serious concern for everyone on the road. Faced with a rapidly escalating danger, the trooper made a split-second decision to perform a pursuit intervention technique or PET maneuver to safely bring the pursuit to an end before the situation became even more hazardous. 05 350 numbers. >> The maneuver successfully stopped the vehicle and the driver, later identified as Jaden Mechy Hamilton, was taken into custody without further incident. When asked why he ran, Hamilton reportedly explained that he did not have a driver's license and was afraid of being taken to jail. Looking back, it is hard not to wonder how differently the day might have ended had he simply remained at the original traffic stop. What began as a minor traffic matter ultimately resulted in far greater consequences than the violation that started it all. >> Keep moving. Keep moving. >> Like you have to do have to run away from me, bro. I didn't know what else to do. Oh, they got you stay there. Come here. >> What the Look at her [ __ ] bro. >> That's her only car. As Greavves merged back into the travel lane, several vehicles were struck, causing a major collision that left one vehicle overturned. Within seconds, the suspect vehicle became disabled near a concrete barrier. What started with a window tint violation had now created a serious threat to countless people sharing the highway. 1050 1050 Got one overturned. Atlanta, bad rake. Bad rake. Further investigation revealed that he was wanted by multiple agencies for previous legal matters, including failure to appear in court and parole related violations. After receiving medical evaluation, Greavves was transported to jail. The incident serves as a powerful reminder that attempting to avoid a traffic stop often leads to consequences far greater than the original reason for being stopped. In many cases, a single decision made in seconds can impact dozens of lives. >> All right. You ready? All right. Turn face your car. Actually, let's go in front of that car right here. Spread your feet wide, sir. Spread them wide. Very wide. All right. On April 6th, 2023, at approximately 12:10 p.m. near mile marker 135 on Interstate 40 in Arkansas, USA, a state trooper noticed a white Chevrolet Cruise with heavily tinted windows. The vehicle was also following another car too closely and slowing traffic in the left lane. What began as a routine traffic stop would soon unfold into a high-speed pursuit. When the trooper activated his emergency lights, the vehicle exited the interstate but failed to stop. After slowing briefly, the driver suddenly accelerated away, running a stop sign and reaching speeds of nearly 100 mph. As the pursuit continued, officers watched the vehicle place both itself and countless other motorists in danger. Every mile added more uncertainty to an already risky situation. 6575.
