right now we are about to service search warrant in on Reed Canal at an apartment complex on our number one target uh this is a operation that's been going on since October of 2023 so this is uh this is going to be a big hit there's total total of five search search warrants are being served four of them are being served at the exact same time at four separate locations and then we'll drop back and we'll serve one up on the beach side in Daytona one of our targets the search warrants that are being executed this morning a lot of which with uh drugs and and very serious uh crimes very dangerous individuals that are out there that we want to remove from our streets but when I say it's personal um drugs impact every family uh everybody can go back and say how it's touched their family in one way or another it touched mine uh with the loss of my brother due to an overdose uh just over a year ago I'm looking forward to uh being able to to help clean up our streets and and our men and women the sheriff's office I support them 110% and uh we're just praying that we keep safe and we remov this element from the streets today to to better protect our community Sheriff's Office open the today was the culmination of that investigation 38 arrest warrants have been obtained for individuals for trafficking manufacturing and delivering crystal meth and Fentanyl we executed four search warrants simultaneously this morning and hopefully by the end of the day the vast majority of these 38 people who were pedaling this poison and killing our residents will be behind bars and hopefully we be in jail for a long long time yeah I think um all the credit goes to the men and women uh the investigators that have been working this case for months and months putting their lives on the line every day and it's not only the um the the risk they deal with um with these violent criminals but just dealing with these F the fentanyl having to handle it every day and the risk of possibly overdosing and uh fatal reactions so they deserve all the credit for all the hard work they're doing here and the message has to be clear if you're going to Pedal that poison in this community we are coming to get you be prepared for what's next
