de baby's claim of self-defense when he shot and killed Jaylen Craig in a Walmart in 2018 de baby has always claimed that he was approached by two men who threatened him with a gun while he was shopping with his then partner and their children the new footage however appears to show de baby throwing the first punch the man who was punched Henry Douglas told police a scuffle broke out after the baby punched him he said his best friend Jaylen Craig was the one who tried to break up the fight when de baby pulled out his gun and shot him following the release of security footage by Rolling Stones de baby posted this on social media what more do you want from me this video contains the interrogation of a rapper suspected of being involved in a shooting rapper Jonathan Kirk known as the baby has a reputation for having a short temper and being quick to resort to violence he once fatally shot a teenager in Walmart who he claimed was trying to rob him in spite of later video evidence the murder charges against Kirk were dropped he also shocked Witnesses at an event when he struck a female fan because he didn't like the fact she was using the flash on her camera with this type of behavior being typical it wasn't any surprise to find out that he was involved in another shooting at Prime 112 in Miami Florida while meeting with others in the industry for dinner shots broke out and Kirk returned fire at a car in the parking lot no one was killed but several injuries were sustained in the gun battle that's you're not a suspect man listen it's just the way it's written I this is just the way the things are printed out man okay but at the end of the day I have to read you your right so if you just explain your side of the story that's fun at the end of day this is the way towards me they in the car with you see them in the car with guns that's when I boom boom boom right here so you shot at them hell yeah yeah they about to shoot me after they already shot somebody and they stole the car they stole his car that car got North Carolina tags okay his baby mother drove that car down here this Ain this ain't no you get what I'm saying he on the ground par shot bleeding to death they stole the [ __ ] car and see did you see what they look like the guys inside there it was Hispanic dudes you got to break it down a little bit more than that just Hispanic you didn't see much returning fire and since you felt threaten you shot up three rounds what do you do after closer closer to the resturant down to where like this guy like your an was was right got you and then remember what kind of car was Mr Williams car what 300 and then we have was more shs being fir at the time after that after he hopped in the car he just took off by that time everybody stop firing and that you saw with the white shirt but backing up a little bit before he gets in the car where was he in relation to where you were when the shooting started was he by Mr Williams was he further north of Mr Williams was he next to him directly in front of him like where was he based on where Mr Williams was that you can remember honestly I didn't know where Mr was until okay okay when did you realize that he was toward so after you had already shot to you know to defend yourself from the fire right yeah yeah I know I'm just trying to clarify so is that what happened after you shot you noticed that he was on the ground correct I I said you're saying but I'm not like no I'm saying because when iang fire I went back but I also saw that I didn't no no I'm not saying no I'm just W to say that after the fact you noticed that he was down so you that's after the fact when you were trying to defend yourself saw he was on the ground the qu uh anybody else that was with you do you remember who shot besides you did you see anybody else shooting I just I just take take and one last thing I know you said that that that exchange of gunfire happened when the Hispanic Mill gets in the in the car and he starts to Fleep you didn't hear any more gunshots yeah it was but by that time I was back in the car so okay so you didn't see what really happened there but you did hear a further exchange of gunshots because we have that on video that there's more gunshots I just want to know if you you heard that as well even inside the car um I think um where did you get stopped by the police where did you get stopped by the uh police you were sitting in the car at the traffic stop they did a traffic stop on a car it was like on the bridge they had blocked up the bridge so each car they came by stopped truck get up were you in the car with with Mr Kirk with thank God Prince you were all in the same car right there's nothing wrong with saying I'm just making sure that's the right let me uh corroborate that because you said when you shot you went into your car by yourself how did you end up in a car with all those people I I a I stayed in my car okay and they got in your car or you got into someone's car I once I got my car I stay I didn't go so there was people that came inside the car with you inside your car okay it's a pretty simple question that I'm asking so you start you're in your car the car starts driving off right and then what happens who gets in the car I was still in the car myself but at some point anybody get the car that and we know who they are because we stopped we just got to confirm you got stopped on the side of the the mccarthur with him so we already know who that it's not like you're telling us something we don't know you want to confirm that information so were the people in the we got stop we got St what point did they get in the car with you did you said you were alone the car starts driving but you're not telling me how they didn't just you know magically get in the car at some point the car had to stop for them to jump in yeah it's like they they got they got in almost like behind me behind me to to get away from the dude that's that's ping so they got in the car while the guy was pulling off I don't know wait he the job he didn't pull off like like completely yet so I don't remember if he if went up a little bit then stopped or if we would just stop and and then people H in the car but it was probably like 20 seconds after like something like that after I got down okay so I'm just trying to get a timeline like I said so after that car where the Hispanic M gets in that he's you're already in the car you said that you jumped inside the SUV at that point that guy is taking off and people are already in the car or they get in the car after he's gone no everybody start so he's he's leaving and they're getting in the car I I I'm just trying to figure out when they got in the car in relation to the events that happened I think he's I think he stops the the Hispanic male who who who stole the car I'm asking the car I car down no I get that so listen you're in the car right you're in the in the SUV you said you got into the SUV while the Hispanic males is taking the Chrysler 300 okay so is the Chrysler still there and other people get in the car with you to get out of there or is he already gone when they get in he's gone he's far gone or in the process of leaving he's he's gone like passing passing passing restaurant on he's about to be on his way up thead and they're jumping in the car at that point you're leaving already they're already in the car no I'm saying when everybody get in the car that's when that's when everybody leave you see what I'm saying no I'm I'm trying to figure out so okay look you're in the car already the guy is is in the CR of 300 the the guy who shot at you the begin with he's in the CR with 300 he's leaving is he gone and people get in the car with you so you can leave or people are in the car and you guys are trying to leave as he's leaving to get out of there when I get in the car he's he's leaving everybody's getting in the car okay and then you guys now I get you and then you guys leave to get out of there so they got in by that time everybody like whoever outside they just hop in the cars and trying to get away safely okay um that make sense no no like I'm just trying to picture it now so you're in the car already the car's fleing and then people are jumping in the car and it's the people that you know when to got stop um who did you give the FM to I don't know the girl was pulled over you had it on you still no I I had I had put it down you it down when you got out of the car or inside no it is is stop get out the car so you know you came with your group did he drive down from North Carolina with her or did she come and meet him here from there she came down here okay he met her here they met sore and they came to the to the restaurant correct we all drove to the restaurant right behind was with you guys the same carav cars there you go okay that's I'm just I'm just asking to just put it together in case you came wasn't even a part of I don't even know where the altercation was down I don't know what took place but whoever was in whoever was right there La they got out the car and set that [ __ ] out you know what I'm saying so we trying to walk into the restaurant even me I'm up there right beside the manager whoa everybody scattering do do you remember that manager at I know you say you didn't remember I I need that's why I want my I was trying to tell them bro just put my my phones was in my pocket when they got they beam pointed at my [ __ ] forhead 10 guns on me like I didn't just get shot at and got Chas I'm telling them don't know they don't know who's who man remember the way that car went out there's multiple different shootings there there was two different shootings the way the car went out my phone went there I would I hav been through this before I know y'all looked my [ __ ] up I been in inter ation room the same [ __ ] this is not the first shooting that Kirk has been questioned about several years previously he shot a teenager in Walmart that Kirk believed posed a threat in that instance it was deemed self-defense with the man look so that I could find person I can't I just need is it a male or female it's a female all right let me try so that way I can locate that person and we I tried to get the video but they're not no I'm listen I know you you had reservations there I know you went to eat there I'm just trying to figure out I just start getting treated like I was there for business all godamn night talking to me crazy we talking I mean I'm be treated right once North Carolina I don't know how it work in Florida when you have when you come off of other charges whether it's [ __ ] or not cuz majority of the [ __ ] I get Char is [ __ ] [ __ ] like I been and and I know this [ __ ] probably sound cliche bro but I been wrong for Arrested I don't know how many times even right here in Florida right the last time I was arrested here something something happened outside the [ __ ] hotel because it's me a rapper the guy tells him they robbed me he robbed me I got $300,000 upstairs in my safe in hotel room it's when I came video ring I said it it video __ ] robbery Kirk's label is widely known to be affiliated with and participating in gang activity so it isn't accurate for him to say he is unfairly scrutinized because of his profession probably
