a man shot and killed last night in Orlando was tied to a gang-related shooting in Osceola County almost a year ago that shooting was the first in more than a dozen other shootings all were believed to be gang-related [Music] this video contains the interview of a young football player who was caught up in a gang-related murder in April 2020 a war between rival gangs in Florida began to heat up the Army gang also known as all family no friends which investigators believe has been led by jaquavius Smith known as block nine the other is 438 named after Silver Star Road Javari Walker also known as hot boy is said to be its leader the violence spanned several months and two of its youngest victims were only 14 and 3. Army members Demetrius Cox was believed to be behind the shooting of wolf Loomer many witnesses at the party corroborate that belief less than two weeks later investigators say two Army members opened fire on people Gathering after luma's funeral a suspect in that attack Jeremiah Robinson was later killed when detectives say he was shot while carrying out another drive-by sir [Music] all right man nicknames many of the people at the party use nicknames and Cox claims he doesn't know a lot of their real names this is just plausible enough to be true for the most part if he only knows them friendly repeatedly telling Cox that he respects him and that he believes he's a decent person he is hoping that this will help Cox open up to him but this rarely if ever happens in gang-related cases [Music] you can get some I was just having it on you okay you were never in the party where you're gonna go around but just having it just chilling nah I'm not saying you were like you know doing crazy stuff I'm saying just chilling no okay during that time was there any altercations that happened between people at the party [Music] um and they were like they want no altercation everybody was before here they keep everybody out the girls were over exaggering they were just over exaggerated over nobody had problems before they even hit everybody out it was Uno or else from the gamble on top okay that was it nobody had no problem girl gonna be kicking everybody out everybody went outside just one person said something to this person shots were hanging out so the girls start let's take a step by step was going really fast okay oh yeah the girls just start tripping okay started tripping so then people started going outside no no no they thought about tripping because they was you feel me they in the crack I'm like you did that man we can get them I got money we get out the door altercation's still going back and forth and our dictation between who is I guess y'all what it is the victim or some more dude so do you know the victim do you know who the victim is do you know her name do I know his name yeah I seen them on Facebook and stuff I think everybody post them they think they call them like wolf or something wolf yeah okay he was arguing with somebody shot the ring out between them we'll see arguing with I don't know it's a whole another group of dudes I could do okay whole another group of guys yeah okay he was he was tripping hard at night too now have you did you know wolf prior to that have you seen them before or anywhere else uh yeah I've seen them in the club hanging out okay yeah it was wolf with any friends or anything like that anybody that you might have seen around like wolf with wolf I can't say too many people he just uh so every time I send me either shop in the world or something but by himself I ain't seen I don't know because he wouldn't know about that night okay because you know at this point man I said young too and I when I wrote yeah yeah but when he walked out he he arguing with somebody else I'm a whole different dude but he tripping but are you sure he wasn't with his friends uh I don't see I don't know his friends or know these if you see them if I if you see them again would you be able to recognize them the ones who are arguing with them yeah I will it would okay so you're walking out but at the same time no no I'm I'm walking out here in my room they are and back and forth okay they all talking all right man he tripping I didn't hit it I swear I got it they gonna shoot I go running I'm like hell no yeah yeah and the guys that Cox becomes evasive when I asked if he knows the names of the other men he's laughingly denies it but if he has seen them around as much as he claims it's odd that he has never heard any names even if he can't match them to faces he also says that he tried to get away when the guns were pulled out smart if true but he probably didn't go all too far I guess wolf like you said like tries to go for the gun no when you're doing this okay yeah let's go for the guy and then he goes the fire he shoots at these dudes these dudes shoot back at him so you're saying wolf started firing the gun yeah okay and what did those guys do they go they all behind the shootout now what type of weapon the wolf have did you see the type of gun here no I was gonna whip it out okay did you know like what kind or what it was no nothing like that okay what did the other guys have what kind of guns the other guys when he go when he would buy they go day five were they supposed or were there bigger guns okay so they started firing each other yeah and what happens oh no I'm gone I'm out of now but I mean did you just leave running or how'd you leave I ran like you ran that call or did you get a ride calling rides calling Ryan I'm calling rocks trying to hit me around oh hell no this ain't me so who ended up taking you one of my one of my from Friends you're one of your well you go to the good stuff can you go to the bad so what what what's the best of you everybody well this that's the thing you know um the stuff that's being said there's different variations of what you're saying but different okay that's what I'm that's what I try to tell my mother I said more it's a lot of he Shake she's still going around but the biggest thing though and you know that you always feel um not deal but um you probably have you had any what are your experiences with with police departments like what have you been around all the police departments like OBD like Orange life the detective asks questions about Cox's past involvement with the police and implies he has heard some less than Pleasant things he then goes on to say that he is sure that Cox would like to return to school subtly implying that doing so hangs on the outcome of this case as it was and everything good right yeah okay and and the thing about everything is now you also know and the reason why I ask you about your friend and who picked you up so I can go from that yeah is because you do understand that there's also other cameras at the front when you go through the gate yeah go ahead okay so when you tell me my friend picked me up and I jumped the wall and you tell me that you went out but then you're inside the party that's not exactly you said I used to you said I said I went out yes when they were yeah right but then there was this uh kids and now set of kids and then these dudes had some guns and those dudes had some guns okay that's not necessarily the way it went down okay well how are you gonna do it now okay there's also certain things we see people coming out with okay and I'm gonna tell you right now I don't care about a stupid possession charge just because somebody's trying to look cool or whatever their reasoning might be for them trying to call from a girl frankly I get it okay I get it I used to carry when I was younger I used to go to parties like that ain't a thing honestly if it wasn't for other things in my life I wouldn't be a cop right now okay let's just let you know you're good but I just want to know what I'm not I don't really care about this nobody else I never want you to think you know back there if you didn't yeah he didn't warn me you didn't tell me okay cool y'all good so what I'm gonna do okay unless you got anything I'm urging Cox to reflect on what he has seen and if he wants this to be a life-changing moment however Cox is Young and believes himself to be indestructible so he brushes the detective off so when you're thinking about this I want you to think about the people that you love yeah not not about your friends okay I know that's hard to tell somebody because I have a friend that I'll probably die for myself okay are you sitting right next to me okay because him and that guy will go through anything good evening my name's coming up back but but I'm gonna tell you right now just just think because of your family's more important to you than your friends you you probably want to think for the next until I come back someone give me a break so I have a question for you yeah you know what footage of everything that occurred in that location tell you what time it is it's a sedan though it's a car right yes car okay because there's only so many I mean there's not a ton of Nissan cars coming through there there's only a fear so all right so you come through and there's a vehicle in front of your vehicle what type of vehicle is it now this is not video so you just have a good memory of this I want to see it like a I want to say a truck was it a truck right that vouch for you what they say that's for y'all what they mean that means they let your car go in right after theirs you didn't have to stop at the gig oh yeah remember that yeah everybody was going to the party so some of the questions we're going to ask we're just going to see if if who's driving that car I don't know
