semra frosh is found dead at the bottom of her pool at the age of 38. Adam claims that he and Samurai were back together again at the time of her death a claim the prosecutor isn't buying [Music] this video contains the interview of a friend of Dr Adam fresh who was found guilty of drowning his wife in their pool women expensive cars and fancy sunglasses none of these sound like typical interests for an average podiatrist but for Adam fresh luxury was the only way to live fresh married his third wife Samira in 2009 without telling her that not only had he been married when the two of them met but he had also fathered a child with another woman this set the tone for the marriage which was full of volatile ups and downs in late 2013 evidence of a new Affair came to samara's attention and this seemed to be the final straw she filed for a divorce and the two separated Samira told friends and family that she feared for her life February 2nd 2014. the maintenance man noticed samara's dog Bella was near the pool where she didn't belong he decided to go check and that is when he discovered the body of Samira thrash submerged in the shallow end of the pool foreign foreign [Music] [Music] okay what's uh what's your address 6517 um I called him back on his phone or I guess his cell phone it comes up 559 area code just I don't know if you try to call me that's me because I got a Google Voice it comes up as a different number well do you have any other phones no this one is yourself yeah it just comes with two numbers so what's going to do this my favorite model or something I don't know where is uh you know where churches Capital it's off of White House Road okay like a mile up the road do you work anywhere not current I mean I'm doing construction but we're going up hanging session for security guards there's something to do I guess some other place got robbed and we got shut down so all right what um I guess how do you know Adam Price yeah what are you how do you guys how did you guys meet her I mean how did that um back in 2009 I moved to um to California in 2007 I worked with Kendall at Ashley Furniture I came home in 2009 for um Christmas I'm trying to get updated because that's it I came home in 2009 for Christmas and I went out with Kindle and Dr Adam and uh went out to dinner hung around for a couple days yeah and then when I came back home permanently in 2011 I didn't have anything going on here and um Channel 10a.m Utah so I started helping him around the house watching the baby when it was higher only at the time um driving him and chamber to Miami you know all around Florida you know go and pick up cars for him and that was starting in 2011. I like the scribes how he met Adam frasch and some of the jobs he performed for him how it seems like an odd choice for a wealthy doctor to choose as a babysitter especially given the fact that the two men didn't know each other all that well foreign Maybe yeah yeah 11. I'm trying to remember when I came back um so when you said you helped around the house like what kind of things you do I mean just you know like cleaning up the yard and pretty much around the house I would watch the baby help them organize the inside the houses yeah inside the house because he's a hoarder and you know dealing with all that medicine right there um you know I'd stay over sleep over four or five days in a row [Music] until I was probably doing that for about seven eight months and uh him and Cameron had a really big fight one night you know in the house you're strong things break in you know she was and he was she was she's always been she's it's always been very very violent um while we have recorded it on the phone and I guess she found out you she attacked me or came at me um and I look boat up at her and like she came at me with a big porcelain base I don't know if you've seen the hospital thinks about it to one of those like bigger items scared of me and I blowed up at her and I was it for a while I didn't talk to him for to what the hell is that that was in until 2011. that would have been in around August of 2012 yeah about August 2012. and then for about a year you know I kept in touch with him but I never I was never around them you know um you know because she saw that one that I'd seen what she how she's acting and this is one of the first vacation there were multiple times before that and this is the first time when she came at me like that so um around August I think of last year um I started talking to him again because they were going through rough patch at the time and uh I was working but I'd you know hang out with him or whatever y'all I'm not saying like I would I would like at his office and in uh Thomasville yeah um and then in town you know you meet up and have lunch or not lunch dinner and we got a Calico jacks or whatever um [Music] and then everything just kept escalating between them and they just when you take care of Escalade they're just things that he told you or just things that you exactly seeing a witness you know like um well just like in court you know I went to court to tell them or testify against her violence you know and Talent Family Services call me you know and I gave them statements that you know she knew that only I knew like had seen and she was I guess the other day she tried to run us off the road last week so but let's kind of skip around yeah um so this is the network she came at you with a base that was around 2011. now probably are 12 2012. yeah okay so then you pretty much you didn't talk yeah I talked to him but she didn't watch me you talk to her like text or cell phone would be like the third parties like uh you know not doing this or [Music] so uh about a year later he said is when you started hanging out with him yeah about August of 2013. you started hanging out with him again a little bit um you know going to his office meeting for lunch he's going up to court a lot you know and you go on the out of town trips [Music] I was working at the time okay where are you working at then I was working at One Stop tickets it was a shop here in town and um what was it December we got we got robbed like armed robbery and um about I don't know three weeks after that I've read you know shot at a house with cooperating and you know everything said I started helping out more around the house and office um around the house again well Thomasville you know the Thomasville house that's right okay um no cleaning up the yard helping them out at the office moving cars around and you know she's always telling them you got to move this car you got to do this you got to do that so I just wanted to tell you to ask you and your brother he would ask me to drop off like her Hummer and I guess taking it to escape it was the only vehicle that wasn't blocked in their driveway and and we've watched Super Bowl weekend if you asked me to pick you dropped the Hummer off at a guy said it had me meet him at the gas station and I took the Hummer back to her because she didn't want her to see him and you know I guess be he didn't want to stir up anything there so I dropped the Hummer off and got someone to pick me up the weight fresh wanted halek to deal with the Hummer doesn't make a lot of sense unless he is trying to establish some sort of history of being afraid of his wife of all the people he could have chosen why pick someone he hadn't seen in a year without her even you know being around him all right so tell me about you said A week ago there was a little incident what happened yeah it was um not no it wasn't last week it was a week before that um the girl what day it was old or anything like that um I can you modified but let me tell you exactly because I text my mom to pick me up in the middle of Thomasville Road because I I was not staying in that house it was uh the Senate of February February 7th okay September what happened February 7th um he had a rental car that um we had a transfer transport back to Miami um and I had the rental car he went to the house to what kind of rental car was it uh Chevy Cruze blue um that I that he had a transfer transport back to Miami um he went to the house because he's thinking that human camera we're gonna go to Miami because it didn't off and on um like the week before the day going to Miami and things would work out and then the week before that they were in Vegas and um he wanted I I had been with him the night before we slept at his office in Thomasville well I took the rental car um to my house to shower and get a pair of clothes and then I was going to take her back to him and you know either go with them or get picked up and leave probably an hour in like an hour after I left he called me and said you know Sarah's hitting me she's going crazy she's going ballistic she's like come get me and I live what about 45 minutes away so I rush out of the house and I get there and no like he's gone and I walk out the door knock on the door and uh high road comes she doesn't recognize me Sarah comes up and uh she she's like what do you want I was like don't call me is everything all right so again that's fine call him I was like are you all right he's like oh I'm good I'm good everything's real good with me you know like you know conditioning like but she's like call him and close the door and I left foreign at the house and and he called me from a separate number of the 313 number whatever he's got yeah so I have it yeah third three two one eight eight nine seven six nine this is another cell phone we got so there's one that he had um as a backup just you know just in case something like this happened all right so he calls you what and he's at the Thomasville at the office so that was kind of like his home base since he wasn't standing Gold Eagle in his house in college so it's very livable um he has the hunger it's a white one um and he'd gotten a Jeep uh that was on a U-Haul trailer so he was like oh we need to take you all kind of back and uh dropped the Jeep off take the trailer back come back to the office I was in the bathroom and he's doing something she's gonna try and fix the dents in the rental car um and he's like we gotta go I'm like what he said she's got there someone's got the Hummer I don't think he said she said someone because he left it on in the thing well he didn't then you should pull around and there's her driving and he's like she's got my bags my checks everything my his other phone and she had my jacket my keys my money all this stuff so he follows her to to outside of Thomasville well he comes up on her and uh news feeding up on her because he I was trying to call her she wasn't answering um she speeds up on her and he's saying roll down your window and he just swings over you know and I'll do the passenger seat and that thing is about this far away from my head I was like oh my God we're about to get hit she gets back and loses control and stays with the highway if he does she does yeah and there's probably 10 cars behind us I'm like oh my God what you know she pulls around and it's like I gotta give him back I gotta get her to stop she pulls off in the ditch and and spins around and comes you know trying to Ram him from the front and backs up and it's like uh demolition derby I'm like what the can you do it dude like relaxing stay back and he's like I gotta get my stuff and she pulls over and he pulls over and she puts it in reverse like she wanted to hit him from the back well uh she stopped and he got in front of her and I got out and I said nah uh I would be very patriotic because I text my mom a picture of the uh we all in Leon County or you know I don't know um Alec has a picture of the evidence which is proof that something happened but not necessarily what that was uh right there that's where I got dropped off yeah so I was like um I'm not doing none of this uh because I figure either he's gonna wreck or she's gonna hit him or he's gonna hit her and I'm like I'm not having anything to do it you know small picks me up and I'm thinking we're going to see the truck on the side getting towed or the car and have arrested no I was like how the hell do they have a demolition derby on the middle of major road yeah with at least 16 Witnesses and nobody's called the police and there's no house did they actually ever hit each other or they're just straightened I don't know she and him in the in the um at Golden Eagle there's probably footage or he said they're yeah nobody got ever got hit but it was really close all right um today the day is gone and you guys ride with your mom yeah it took her about an hour well I was like my motorcycle was at his office in Thomasville my keys were in my jacket pocket but all my money my ID everything as long as I I don't care I'm going up there I'm getting stuck because she's like I would press myself if she's trying to keep your [ __ ] you know because that's why she's like little stuff um so we go to their house in golden eagle and surprisingly they made it there and I was like you know surprised well he's sitting in the car and she's in the hub around the road my mom asked her she's like Josh let me do stuff like don't give back we're calling the police like he had nothing to do with this then she started starting at me saying she's gonna take me to court because I tried to kill her we're challenging the passenger seat you know I had nothing to do with it I get my stuff and I think she's going off and we just leave and uh I talked to him later that night he said they they drove around gold legal for like two and a half hours and finally got his stuff and I think he left that he was this was all back on the 7th February yeah that evening [Music] um have you talked did you ever talk to him since then yeah a few times yeah you know he um what's your name today I'm I've talked to him quite a few times because quite a bit it's on the phone or they didn't met up anymore we're trying to think because I've been doing construction and then um honestly can't remember I'd have to look at my phone and see what what I text um have you been back to the house since then no yeah I know well she said that she didn't want me around in that she had a restain or against me which I've never mentioned anything about that you know did uh since that time that when you when you guys call it when you say about any other altercations that they had since then [Music] um there's I don't think so I'm it's I understand things kind of but I can't I know that that one was imprinted because it was pretty bad all right he actually came to my house uh probably the next weekend or next yeah and he brought that um the cruise over and we were trying to fix because she ended up backing into it and he's like oh we got to try and fix that so we tried fixing it and um that didn't work out too well and that's when him and her went to Miami um because you run it through the mud trying to you know maybe they won't see it and he was like she got upset because uh because we had to ride in a um dirty car yeah um but I saw him that day and what did we do after how did that day end with him we went to AutoZone to add a paint roller we went up to the Tallahassee Auto Clinic talked about one of the vehicles and we got another one of these vehicles from there and I drove it back to Thomasville um then we took the white Mercedes I don't know if it's in the driveway or not um from Thomasville to Tallahassee and I had my Mom meet me at uh at the Circle K there and she picked me up and I dropped his vehicle off and I left and he got to dig officer okay no no no I followed him I followed him in the rental car to his house yeah I had it like French seems to be making use of halek quite a bit at this point it is possible that halleck is one of the people that has received money from fresh as a result of the Medicaid scam and is therefore willing to lie for him but I never went I just dropped the rental car in the driveway and I got one mom and left um because they pulled out again you know they were they're about to go back to Miami and everything's fine and oh that's the way it was uh hour of heated argument in 20 minutes later everything's fine you know yeah let's go to the casino and gamble or a restaurant to eat at Ruth's Chris or yeah you know um um that's when I guess they went to Miami that evening so uh did my texture to tell you the exact dates um when's the last time you spoken with him ice program uh Saturday because what kind of Saturday uh 10 15 you call me did that thing at night 10 in the morning in the morning yeah because what did they say all right hey where you called you from or anything where you calling from he said I asked him how everything went with you know how he's doing what all happened um he said it was a 45-minute conversation so there's a lot in there and he I mean Wade talks back and forth and randomly you know right I guess kind of like me no um he said they made it to Miami return a real car he ended up having insurance on the wrong car he said that um they were fighting they fought you know because the car was dirty so they were fine and then asked him oh what are you doing today because I was going into work um we had worked really late in Crawfordville I didn't get home until like 2 15. and I was from my boss's van to go pick up my boxes at church on uh on the street had to pick him up at 11. that's when he called me at 10 15. two seven went to Miami but are you gonna um I tried calling him a few uh quite a few times and uh their goal is she I couldn't turn my phone off because she gets upset whenever like she's my number calling she's like why is she calling you he's a liar and uh you know for quite a few disparaging things about me um he said that she had been drinking the past few days like really having to she had just gotten um this woman sold her a video of him and her having sex you know they're going through a divorce and figured you know go out there some of all of his other options but the woman has sold camera a video of them having sex for like four grand um and he said that when she saw the video that she he's like you know he could say that yeah I've been with this woman and she'll get mad and angry and throw things he said but with some song video and actually watched it it says but really really hurt he was like I could tell that this really hurt you it's like I'd be the same way if I saw a video of her having sex with someone else she's like it would tear me apart and um said she'd been drinking for the past few days um and uh so I was like oh so are you all in Miami still or because you know Northern he said and this officer shade kind of I guess was pressing me I don't know if he said he was in Panama City or if he was on his way to Panama City I know that he did say that he was going to Panama City or like that was his eventual you know destination I said what are you guys you know what are y'all doing tonight he said well Tamara wants to say I said Cameron may he said she gave him the children and she wanted to date you know the day for herself just to I guess have some alone time or whatever because she's having children to herself this whole time and giving them the children and he was going to Panama Stadium she was gonna either drive there and meet him and they were going to fly to Miami or or they were just going to like I guess fly separately and meet in Miami um talked about the cost of driving versus flying and it'd be just as easier or just as much to fly as to drive and um and that's about 11 oh two or three uh I had to go pick up my box I was getting gas and yeah that's about um when I had to cut them off that was pretty much extending on conversation when I cut them off I was like oh I'm pulling up to the job I got to call you back all right did you tell it toy the day before that your day before that yeah no not no um is that the last time you talked to him yeah man I worked and I wasn't able to call him back and then Kendall called me wrong five o'clock Saturday what happened I thought he was being either melodramatic or like or just I don't know hopeful I got you um but then Professor then that's right tried calling quite a few times yeah I don't know I was like what the hell maybe did you ever talk to him after you heard about that no I haven't talked to him since I talked to his dad a few times so that was a lot last time he talked to him was all about 10 15. from 10 15 to 11 of about 11 o'clock Saturday yeah okay um let's go back a little bit the times that you were at the house just talk about Samurai's um you know how is she around the pool whether she did you ever see her get in the pool with a year she couldn't swim no she can't swim um I mean did you ever see her get in I mean she see me when she said she was scared to death of it no she's been around it she come out there and um she'd be near it yeah you know she wasn't definitely afraid or anything she just said she'd never learned how to swim yeah um I mean you can see videos of her where she lay in the water you know Beach or whatever but I don't know if she didn't know how to swim or if it was just something she wasn't interested in and it's like she said she doesn't know how to ride a bike but she knows how to ride a bike but it just she said it hurts so I don't do that you know yeah but that's how she said I don't swim either she doesn't know how to swim or she just does this when I was like right but she's been around the school yeah yeah I mean it's not like so just from your experience and I know I'm saying I'm not saying that you know one way or the other but like the example you just brought up that she said she doesn't have she knows how to ride a bike but she says she doesn't just because she don't want to do it yeah like so yeah take action she got a language barrier yeah I've never seen one but from what I always you know just been back to my mind you know a sense of something it's like oh camera that's not awesome this is what I would think um uh but she's not afraid of water you know I've seen her Alex says that Samira wasn't afraid of being around the pool but he cannot reliably confirm whether or not she knew how to swim I've seen her in water like trying to think that she went in the you know when in the pool she's like Chase the cat around the pool like like in a you know running around the pool by kind of unsafe you know you might have fallen but of course he would think that so help her out you know um um when you say you've witnessed uh I won't make me cry I wouldn't miss her be violent multiple times we've got I mean it seems like everybody's like oh he's a Batman this woman and I've told him in court I told the CPS people yeah I told him this woman needs help she's majorly bipolar I'm saying that she's doubts on the mental stability of the victim which may have been Fresh's intent all along I wanted to remind you once again my new merch shop is multiplied versus violence and nobody ever took me seriously or him you know it's like she just brought in for domestic violence charge the charges get dropped she beat the [ __ ] out of him multiple times what I've seen she was she would drive very erratically like chasing him down with her Hummer with the babies in the car and it was like hitting his his red red truck there's videos showing her chasing him out of their complex and nobody does anything about it like it's she's I guess she puts off such a sweet demeanor to everybody else but this woman would turn into a Banshee at the drop of a hat it was why did he rent cars he got like a 60-something cars why did he none of his cars are tagged or insured and he's a hoarder like he Hoards the vehicles the car was his dad had actually rented it for a time that he came down here and uh he just had to return it because he he's got so much going on I don't you just read cards and what did you say you talk to his dad here recently yeah I talked to him probably four hours ago he's gonna be here tomorrow morning at noon have they talked to him no he tried to call uh uh Bay County they said they had him in the medical award and he couldn't talk to him until tomorrow morning or maybe and you had weight feeling since the video and check on you he probably doesn't remember my number I'm sure he's got family you know Daphne or Addison they do called for it he wasted calling me because Dad did say that um he tried to call him at like three in the morning and then his mom pushed the wrong number and accidentally dismissed it so he tried to get a hold of his mom uh it was at three in the morning three in the morning out again I talked to this guy last night he told me about it so that would have been so Saturday morning at three or Sunday morning Sunday morning what um what have you heard that happened what if I I've only heard that she's following the pool at 11 to the news I haven't heard anything about you know autopsy reporters or police training you know Whitlock saying that he's not surprised that I want to see how I don't know where his angle is it seems like a a leech for he's trying to make a name for himself or put his name in the paper you know off of her death what do you think I mean he just I mean I know you don't know a whole lot but what do you think either she said she needed she saw the video and got upset really upset and got tank and slipped in the pool inadvertently maybe passed out hit her head I don't know I think either she fell accidentally or she did it intentionally or that she attacked him to the point where he had no situation it was an accident and he probably got you know like all going through this course how's this going to look and he just got you know upset and stared and ran you know do you know uh what the latest car he's been driving or what car he would be in yeah um but what do you normally Drive I mean the car that he was driving the last that I saw him when they were going was at Whitewood cities with the the white wheels on it I think it's an O2 with the body kit on it um all of his cars got cut off out of his yard or driveway so that one had tags I think or else you would have taken it deep from his other house in Tallahassee what is it uh Linux Mill it is probably taken the black Jeep or that white Mercedes but he had keys to several of them and where do they normally keep the keys he keeps them in his bag I don't know about um you've got a book bag that he keeps like like 30 key genes yeah um he says that she it comes as no surprise when halek speculates that samira's death was an accident or suicide at the most he is willing to believe that fresh killed her in self-defense men panicked still he does end up giving potentially useful information about Fresh's vehicles broken in the safe back in I guess August and had all the keys or once you got the house and she stepped all the keys and he didn't know what did she do but she normally drives the Hummer yeah what does she do with this team does she teach me certain locations um they had a box like a a metal box it was going to save and I had like hooked on it but it's all done it was a um like in our body or a Fendi like box of jewelry would come in I think this has been like a year and a half since I haven't seen the Box there's a box and they keep just keys in um what I know they were all in the face but and he said if she broke in she said she broke in um so the key that she used for the Hummer that she drives probably every day she keeps in the safety Club no no she keeps that like in her purse but but they have all the other bears and other keys so she know he keeps the Hummer keys in her purse it's just wherever it's like it is [Music] a house won't pick up behind pick him up behind her you know it is um like product the closet underneath here too in your conversations with him recently did you uh did he mention you know he said he was taking the kids to give her a day off she gave him the children yeah I didn't mean to say that he had the kids to give her a day off whether he took him with her she gave them to him or whatever um has that did you know recently he's done that the same thing in the past few weeks or so they've been going to they've been going out of town and she's gone out while he's watching kids as a babysitter in his past same month or so say two a week ago in Miami you know he said or I can tell you about the Vegas one Vegas oh she went out for the night and left me with the children you know it's not something like like he's not allowed to have a kid they go to they've been out multiple times for the past month together as a couple he's got a video on her phone where she goes off at heaven in Las Vegas on his phone but you know like the night before because he's watching the babies he's out or what about lying that while she they're here in Tallahassee while they're here until I see he's spent the night you know I stayed over multiple times um and um stinky said he was paid oh yeah he's taking the babies to get um to get diapers and she wanted she made him go get milk this is like I don't know Michael Wednesday before like last weekend like not last Wednesday the Wednesday before that she's like oh I got a baby so I'm getting milk and getting uh formula and he said he's taking the kids to like the store and stuff yeah it's not like she's not let him have the kids and and yeah and uh I thought there were kind of on the way on the verge of um of reconciling which isn't the right word to use regular style would be just less heck less chaotic yeah um but and then this this woman sold her the first she saw her pictures and then she saw the video and that's what kind of got everything that's crazy but he said that and he took the pictures brought him closer together like oh look at these pictures look at these Horrors look what I'll do you know you're not gonna find a woman like me uh that's what you get when we got mess around but then he said the video kind of been with like all downhill after that so [Music] hang tight for me man all right and Alex opinion the video is what sparked the whole event it doesn't appear to cross his mind that if frash was planning on divorcing his wife that video could end up costing him quite a lot in the settlement and Brash wasn't brought to trial until 2017 when he was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison his attorneys appeal the conviction in 2019 asserting that the conviction should be thrown out because the court denied a motion for a new trial without a hearing and allowed State prosecutors to introduce what they call hearsay evidence the court chose to uphold a conviction thank you for
