You have conversations with him about where the drugs are, who holds the drugs, how much that there is, even detail a map to him. They were not supposed to be in the house. But they were. So all three of you drive him out to a roadway, set him on the roadway in the slush, the snow, the ice, and the cold. Bound so he can't move or walk away. Right? And you thought leaving him there was better. Right? By your own admission, that was better for him. How is that better for him? In part one of Courtney Clemons's interrogation about her part in the death of Michael Partridge, she tried to convince the detective that she only watched as Seth Plussant, Robert Haskell, and Timothy Smith beat him to death with a baseball bat. Now that the detective has told her that the story doesn't add up with what her friends are saying in their own interrogations, Clemons is wondering if it is worth it to try to keep up the lies. Birthday cake frosting this. Um, they're going to get it now. Okay. Um, just so I'm clear, the two things that I want to do while we're waiting, we'll eat, we'll kind of relax, and what basically right now what we're waiting for is those guys to come down so that we can go over to your mom's and get the green bag and see what's in it. Okay? Um, but we eat. Okay. And we'll keep it uh like we have been, pretty relaxed, all right? Um, the clothing that you had on when this is all going down, those sweatpants, Those I wasn't wearing. You weren't wearing those? I was. I don't know. They're still in there. Where's the Okay, what what were you wearing when when Gray dark gray sweatpants, uh the boxers I have on now, the underwear's there. Uh the bra's over there. We just came out and What about the sweatshirt? What were you wearing? I had a different sweatshirt on. It's at the house. What was the sweatshirt? I don't know. See if I can eat it. Cuz I had two sweatshirts yesterday and I just had this one. Cuz I don't have um I don't have I don't have I don't have the pants that match, so there's no underwear, so I put these on instead. I know it's wrapped with my a few wraps of the underwear. So all of it was a different shirt on? I think it just had a shirt, the underwear, the boxers I have on, and the gray pants. And then I had That's what you had on when this all when this fighting goes? Yes. Okay. Did any of it get anything on it? Where is it all right now? In Seth's room? Would it be in a type of bag or something? Yeah, in my my Champion bag. Your Champion bag? So it would be dark gray sweatpants If you just bring the whole bag, I could tell you, but But it's dark gray sweatpants? Yes, dark gray sweatpants, um It's a a blue shirt with Disney characters. What Disney characters are on it? Princesses. There's four of them. Okay, so hold on. So dark gray sweatpants Champion Um Ooh, light blue shirt. Light blue Disney shirt? Yes. Um there's the only bra in there. It's multi It's like pink and red, I believe. Can't miss it. Um and it was like peach colored underwear. Peach colored underwear? And I need my medicine for my pocket, but I have my uh steroids in Where are your steroids now? In my coat shirt. Where and that's in Okay. Good. We're at a little bit of a disadvantage here because we got to wait to go go and get your stuff. Okay. Right? The detectives have been careful not to collect the evidence from the house until the proper warrants have been obtained. Um but we're as soon as we can get it, we'll get it to you, okay? Okay. Uh dark sweats Champion light Disney blue uh light blue Disney shirt with Disney princesses on it. Yes. Peach colored underwear. Yeah. And um a multicolored Victoria's Secret bra. Multicolored? It's the actual bra, I believe, in the backpack. Okay. Um What about your footwear? You're looking at it. Okay, you get those those shoes. Okay. Okay. You want some more water? Yes, can I get tea? Oh yeah, sure. Go ahead and How about we do this? One of the things that they asked me was um When there's When you're outside, right? And you're you you do the um put his hand behind his back, then Seth comes in with the the cord and the tape, and Bobby comes down with the sheets. Sheets. Right? He finished tying him up. You helped tie him up, right? Okay. One of the things they're asking is when he's then taken by who down to the car? He was right next to the car. At that point. So who took him from near the stairs down to the car? Seth or that guy and Bobby, I can't remember. Tim? Yes. Okay, so Tim and Bobby take him down to Okay. At any time, right? At any time, are is there anything used to help move him? Like implements? No, they used their hands. No no tarps, no And they put a tarp down in the car. Um In the car or Yeah, in the car. Um I know when we got back, I saw the sheet right where the car was parked and I saw the tarp in front of the garbage can. The tarp is in front of the garbage can and the sheet that they tore? Yeah, when I left it was. I don't know cuz Tim gets home like they get home around 8:00, so I don't know if he did anything. So that's in front of what garbage can? When you first pulled in the driveway, there's like two garbage cans, like the On the left or the right? on the left hand side. And the tall ones? Yeah. And they were in front of it or in it? They were in front of it. Both the the tarp and what color was that? It was like a darkish, I want to say like a dark navy, and the sheet was white with like a blue pattern on it. I couldn't really Okay. And that's they're both in front of those those cans. The That is where the car was parked. That's where I saw it last, the sheet. The tarp was right in front of the garbage. Okay. So when you come back, that's where whose car was parked there? The Toyota in front of the house, like if you're looking at the house, was Charlie's truck and then Tim's car was there. And then the Toyota was parked where you saw that the barn like thing, that's where the car was parked. So Tim had already left though from work and it was still there when he left for work. When we just pulled back up, Tim was backing out to leave. And the sheet was still there. Okay. So it's in front of those two garbage cans as you go up the driveway, and if you turn to the left, it'll be to the left or the right? On the left lane between the um that garage and the house. The detective's approach is paying off and Clemons is willing to cooperate, an attitude that may have been different if she had been paired with a detective who tried a rougher tactic. I recently released another highly intense video on my Patreon, an explosive altercation between two cops where tension escalated so quickly resulting in a drawn gun and a devastating gunshot in a mere 26 seconds. Witness the events unfold as two officers engage in a fight that turns deadly. Watch this video and more at patreon.com/stranger stories plus. Okay. So you wake up at what time? I woke up around 8:30. Okay. Actually no, it was a little earlier cuz I talked to Seth around 8:30 as well. I was watching Kardashians in the beginning, so it was around 8:00 we woke up. So it was kind of the start of the show. And that was Yes. And it was just me and Okay. Um Next one? Woke up um talked to Seth on the phone around 8:30. Okay. Hold on. I got to just I'm I'm writing so I write slow and and tiny. Yeah, around 8:30 he called. He was getting up and ready and dressed and he would be heading over soon. And you're still at Correct. Okay. Um around um between 9:00 and 9:15 he arrived at the house. Hold on one second. 9:15. He got Yeah, he arrived at the house. I put her car seat. We went over Hold on one second. And that's Yes. And he arrived in that uh Ford Taurus? No. What car? That's was in the Toyota. Toyota Toyota Camry. Silver Toyota Camry. Okay. That's 9:15. What time did you go over to the pool? Right when we got picked up, so like 9:17 we got So 9:17 a.m. Uh take care at Do you know number? I don't know, I don't. Yes. Then at Sorry. Yeah, so we ate our fast food. Mhm. Is it hit you like a ton of bricks? Yes, I can't eat it too fast. All right, where are we at next? That's my question. And then we went to ShopRite. So, I'd say So, you and Seth went to ShopRite in Chester. Like 9:20. 9:20? And a.m. Um ShopRite. You're at the Chester ShopRite. ShopRite and that was um breakfast. to buy breakfast, but uh That Where is that ShopRite located? Um across from Walgreens in the in the plaza shopping center. And that was at we went to this. Okay. Um Across from Yeah, we were right at Happy Hour Street. You know Brookside Avenue. Okay. And then that was at 9:20 and you bought what? The detective wants to go over the timeline one more time to make sure he has everything straight. Bacon, eggs, chocolate milk, my favorite. Uh creamer. What else we got? And OJ. Oh, excuse me. OJ, okay. That's at 9:20. And you leave there what time? Maybe 10 minutes later, so It's 9:30. Okay. Oh, and then we went So, around 9:45 we'll say we get back to time. 9:45 a.m. You show up at Correct. That's when you arrive, right? Yeah. Did you stop between 9:30 and 9:45 Did you stop anywhere else? No, we went straight from the ShopRite to the house. Okay. And you're with Seth, right? This whole time? Yeah. You and me both. So, it was Seth there with Seth. He lives far from here. Yeah, unfortunately. I got a whole um So, 9:45 you arrive there, but then at what time do you leave there to go meet? Michael. Um It was That's back at ShopRite, right? Correct. Um That's Michael's grandfather. I'm going to say like 7:30 I left. I'm not sure the exact like minute. I'm going to say around 10:30. Okay, 10:30 a.m. You leave there. Time do you get to ShopRite? Uh 10:45. It's like we took 10 or 15 10 or 15 minutes to get to back and forth. So, 10:45 you said? Yes. And you're alone, right? Yes. All right, so that's at 10:45. Right? So, from 10:30 to 10:45 uh you arrive, right? Correct. All right, you're there for how long? Um probably I'd say like 10 minutes at maximum. So, that puts you at 10:55? Okay. Is that right? Yeah. So, you leave there 10:55. And you go back to Did you go in the store at all? Yes. Okay. So, 10:55 a.m. you leave ShopRite. ShopRite. And then go to You did not go in the store. Oh. And you go back to where Seth is. Correct. You okay? Yeah, he's still there. I get you. If you're going to throw up though, Mhm. throw up in a garbage can. Cuz if you start throwing up, it's going to be like the scene from Goonies, I'll start throwing up. Uh it's going to be awful. Um So, 10:55 a.m. you leave ShopRite. You don't go in the store. No. You go to where Seth is and you don't know where Michael is. Michael told me he was going back to his grandmother's house. Okay, so He got the car. He broke the car. Seth, Michael. Where is your grandfather? Uh Where is Michael? Okay. So, leave ShopRite, do not go inside. Michael goes back to grandmother's house. Okay. So, you get back um to what time? It's 10 minutes later. So, that would put you at 11:10. Is that time now, right? Yeah, like around 11. The times will probably not be exact, but they should be close enough for the detectives to confirm with witnesses and security footage. Yeah, it was between 11 and 11:15-ish. I think so in there. Relying on his answers. Okay, that's ocean. Okay. So, that's 11:15. You're out there until what time? So, I leave to come back home, which was um just a little later than normal. Than the 3:00. So, I know we left between like 3:15 and 3:30. Yeah, Seth wanted to go home and then he had to Now, between 11:00 11:15 and 3:15, that's a hell of a long time. Did you go anywhere else? Any other anybody, any other any other stuff and then just hanging out in his room. We watched a movie. What movie did you watch? Southpaw. And you watched uh And it started Southpaw. Okay, watched. Okay. So, that was at uh 3:15 3:30 you leave, right? Correct. I think that's crazy. So, you leave at you leave and you're headed to where? I was going to go and take care of my family's home like there, so I went home. So, you left What you leave with? Correct. Okay. What is it? Correct. And you saw Michael at the McDonald's, right? Yes. He's putting on his down coat. He told me to get the next part one over. Into the plaza, right? Mhm. And the plaza is what plaza? Um I think it's like Chester Plaza. And that's the name of it. The Chester Plaza. Correct. What time was that? What time did you see him? Cuz you left there at 3:00 3:30. Where do you end up? So, what time did you get down there? But what time did you get down to that to see Michael at McDonald's? So, it took a little bit of like some traffic, so probably like 3:55 I want to say. Did you stop anywhere on the way down there? Yes. Okay. So, 3:55 p.m. you see him at the McDonald's. He's pulling into the Chester Plaza right next door. You decide we're going home, which is only 1 minute away. I mean, you're literally right around the corner there. So you get home in about 3:00 In the next minute. Okay, 3:56 p.m. you're at Yes. Okay, but he sees you, doesn't he? No. Not yet, right? No. Okay, 3:56 he shows up. Now at 3:56 you said uh you're with Mom. Yeah, at the house. You're at the house. He talked to her, told her stuff. She told me she needed milk, so I decided to go look to Shell for milk. Okay. With Mom. I walked to the Shell, but Okay, but Mom needed milk. Yes. To Shell gas station, where's that now? It's at the corner when they pulled in when we were coming this morning. What road is that right there? Uh I think it's technically 94. Okay. Okay. So that's a state route, right? County route? Mhm. 94 is County Route? Yes. Okay, so County Route 94 you walk to the Shell gas station from your home because Mom needed milk. Yes, sir. Okay, you arrive at the gas station. How long does it take you to walk down there? Oh, maybe 5 minutes at that. So 4:01? Yeah. 4:02 in there? Yeah. Okay, that's So there's the So from 3:56 to 4:02 you leave and you go to the Shell gas station, right? Yes. Okay. 4:02 is when he's up to the He pulls up to the front door, right? Yes. And wants you to get in the car, right? Yes. Clemenza does little beyond confirming the detective's statements. After the length of her interview, she isn't paying much attention and just wants this to be over. You see what kind of liquor there? Vodka. To go pick up He wants you to get Yes. Where should I tell them? There's no way I can try to get the medicine, can I? You what? I'll step out and I'll ask them to see if they can get it. Okay, do you think this is possible? Okay, we'll get all your We'll get that. Is there anything we can get from Mom's house real quick? She has it in here. She has it All right, let me uh let me ask her. Why don't you sit there for a minute? Let me ask her I'll see Yeah, yeah, I know you All right. Hey, it's um I think it's actually We're still going to just grab the Coach bag. She said it's in And like pretty flat, green leather handbag. Okay. I told them this Um they just got to make sure that it's okay for them to go get that for you for for now. Okay. So Mike pulls up to the door, wants her to get in car to go pick up um off that right? And that was That was at 4:02 p.m. He's at the gas the Shell gas station on 94, right? Okay. So he's there for how long? Um When we leave? We just hopped right in the car and he drove off. No, but how long were you talking for? Oh, um in total maybe like 5 minutes. He was yelling. Okay, but you end up getting in the car with him? Yeah. Oh man. At 4:07. All right, where do you go? Then he pulled into That would that work? 4:07? Yeah. I can't say that it's a shop, like Okay. So Mike and Mike and you pull into about 4:07 p.m. Um Okay. Now what Now you're there and again you're at this is where you're having the argument with him outside. How long does that go on for? Not long. I just had a few words with him outside. Okay. So you go get You come back out, but you don't get in the car. No, he just speeds off. Okay, and that was What time did you come back out of the school do you think? It was like 5 minutes. I talked to her teacher for a little bit. Uh she told me about how her Christmas party was. Okay, so that was only about 5 minutes. That's not too bad. So that's uh 4:07 you go in and then it would be like 4:12, 4:15 you come out. Yeah. 4:15 you come out and then this is where you don't get in the car, he speeds off, you go across the road way to the house. Yeah. Right? That's when he pulls up. And he pulls up in the front of the house. Okay. So you get back So you basically get back to the house at I got like back to my road, not even my house. I was still like two houses before. How long does it take you to get back over there? On foot, maybe 3 minutes. Yeah, 3 minutes is a little bit of foot traffic. But that's what my handler said. In the jacket there's a pouch. It's a white pouch that I have my It's a It's a hoodie like this and it's like a green color. It's a white pouch with like a sugar skull on it. Okay. Please. Little whoop. Okay. Um So So remember you told me that that map may be in a backpack in your bedroom? The backpack in your bedroom, what would we be looking for? Uh it's a green uh champion one. Green? green um an army color. Like a camouflage? Yeah, yeah. Okay. So bear with me, all right, cuz I'm tired, you're tired, so we're going to work through this, okay? So it's I Courtney Yes. All right. C o u r t n e y? Correct. Then spell your last name for us. C l e m e n z a. Okay. And that's in New York. Yep. And what's the um Okay, hereby give my permission to members of the New York State Police to conduct a search of the following premises. Oh, wait. Can I tell you? Oh, one second. Um I just put Clemenza is giving them permission to search the house, believing that it will give her quicker access to her belongings. Okay, Chester Police Department and members of the New York State Police to conduct a search of the following premises. And that is um Now your room is where? Oh. You don't pay rent. It's your mom that pays the rent, right? Okay. So what room I do you reside? In the bedroom. I know, but How do you get there? Yeah, so as you go up the stairs It's the first door on your right. First door on the right as you're coming through the back door, right? Yeah. Why did you go out the front door or the back door? Okay. Okay, uh here to conduct a search of the following premises. My It's in this closet. bedroom located at in Chester New York. Chester Um to fill it all in here. Yeah. My bedroom is located at at um at the top of the stairs, right? Yeah. It's the first door on your Okay. Um bedroom first door top of stairs on the right. I grant permission to your ex-place search the entire premises including the contents of any containers boxes found there on. Meaning your backpack. Uh containers boxes found on. Um I don't care about any marijuana or anything like that. There's none here. Okay. I grant permission to search the entire premises including the contents of any containers or boxes found on. Including backpacks, duffel bags, and purses. I understand that you do not have to permit this search and no threats or force were made by me and any member of the New York State Police obtained my consent and grant permission to search the premises freely and voluntarily. So, you're going to sign there. And then print your name there. I'm going to witness it. Today's date is the 19th. Okay. And we're going to shoot for the time you'll be signing this document at 11:02. Uh a.m. Okay. So, once you're done signing, I'll I'll witness it. Okay? Do you know for a fact that the green bag is there? I'm pretty sure because he's been we've taken it to um the one with the laptop. And the one with the laptop is going to be either his granddad's I think just Yeah, at your granddad's house cuz I've only seen him with a actual laptop in the car. Unless he had it in the backseat. I didn't see the bag. I wasn't really like looking for the bag. So, but you said you last saw him with the laptop. Was that like 4:00 when he Yeah, when he was in Chester. Okay. So, when he was in Chester. So, he had the backpack with him. Cuz it was out loose the laptop in the front seat. So, the only place that that backpack would be in would be wallet green backpack which is a uh Champion Champion backpack or or the Bob's Burgers one which is by the car. So, the Bob's Burgers one is in the car. Uh no. Wallet's probably in the car and No, they're or on him. And then the other one is the your bedroom in the closet you said. Okay. Okay. The detective is gathering a list of all of Clemenza's belongings and their locations to help make the search easier. Okay. So, here. Okay. So, that would be here. That one that's going to be one more. Um I know you said that he when he was outside he didn't have any shoes on. Yeah. What happened to his shoes? I know you told me once. I'm just trying to them and I saw like one of them downstairs. What What type of shoe was it? It was a sneaker gray sneaker um I don't really have a name brand. It was like a Payless. A gray Payless. Like dark gray like light gray? uh no, it was a darker gray. Any other symbols on it? Not that I recall. Um you know, I believe it was gray with a white sole. Gray with dark gray? dark gray with like a dirty white sole. Dirty white sole. Cuz he's been wearing them a lot. Okay. Um I know it was like a netting almost like a On the top of it? Yeah, like a sheer netting type is how I recall Mhm. correctly. Was it like a sports sneaker like a running sneaker? I believe so. I think it was his grandpa's sneakers. His grandpa's sneakers. I believe so. They're like the same size and like he wouldn't have any shoes. What What size do you think they were? Um They were between 11 and 11 and 1/2. Those were at my house. No, they're not. They're at Cuz you said you saw one at the bottom of the stairs. Yeah. Where was the other one? It was in upstairs, but I don't know where they put it afterwards. Did they clean up afterwards? Yeah. How did they clean up? I know downstairs when they moved there was blood Seth was cleaning it up. Seth cleaned the blood up with what? I heard Bobby say he was looking for a mop. Bobby was looking for a mop or Seth was it? he was looking for a mop for Seth. For Seth to clean it up. Yeah. Why wouldn't Bobby just clean up? I don't know cuz I know Seth just took the initiative and started cleaning up. So, then Bobby's going to go out and find him a mop. Okay. So, they picked up his shoes then. They I didn't see them but cuz I was up there at that time upstairs. So, this was after you guys come back from the What liquor store was it again? Baxter's is it? It was right across from Baxter's pharmacy where it used to be. There used to be a pharmacy lotion like right across. I didn't look at the name of the liquor store but it was right on the corner. The across from Baxter's pharmacy. Where it used to be by like the lotion place station. So, as you're going back towards home that's where you stopped over there. Yeah. So, so Seth cleans up the downstairs. Does Bobby clean up upstairs with Tim or Tim was already gone. So, Bobby cleaned Did you help clean up at all honestly? No, no. I was No, Seth and baby were asleep by the time I got done with her. So, Bobby and Seth are cleaning up and he uses Does he use like What did he use to clean up? downstairs in the room with the baby but I know he said towels he used to mop. Did it smell like It didn't smell like bleach or anything. But I never went back downstairs until like everything was dried after the fact. Yeah, but you would have smelled the blood and the Champion and nothing like that. Yeah, no. It didn't smell like bleach or like Pine-Sol or anything. And I didn't hear any like dropping noises. It was like just throwing water like whatever he was doing. So, it was a dark gray with dirty white sole 11 to 11 and 1/2 with netting on it that were at the bottom of the stairs and they came off during the altercation. I don't know when he lost it. He was running up the steps. With the with the gun? Yeah, when he was running up the steps one came off cuz I saw the one like it was at the bottom and I never saw the other one. So, I don't know if they put it away, if they threw it out. I'm not 100% So, while he's running up there he loses the shoe before the altercation. Yeah, like he lost it on the way up the steps. Is there an apartment number associated with that? No, that one never had one. I know the other side had technically apartment name but What was it again? The uh is it? The um four Um Chester is 10918. Okay. Same thing. We're going to date it 12/19/19. I'll put our initial there and you're going to be signing this one at uh 11:09. Uh actually you're not you're not going to be signing this one. Your mom is cuz you don't pay the rent, right? Mom is the sole payer. So, she rents She's on a lease. Okay. So, we'll let mom sign that one. Clemenza's mother will have to sign the papers since Clemenza cannot give the police permission to search a home belonging to someone else. Okay. Um give me just a second. Water? Yes, please. Okay. I'll give you some water. Um I'm also going to see if I can get some ladies. I got nowhere. Okay. I'm sorry. You're good. So, you get home tomorrow around 4:20 p.m. walking. Mike drives over to your house, right? Mhm. And he's in the driveway, right? Correct. Or no, he's not in the driveway. He's on the road like correct. What going up and down until actually stop? No, he just parked and he got out of the vehicle and suddenly like following us. on foot. Cuz he wanted you to get in the actual car, right? Yeah. So, that's 4:20. At uh What time Now, you leave shortly after that. I called Seth at the same time I was walking in the black eye court. Seth said he would come get me again. So at 4:20 p.m. Seth to come pick you Yes. Okay. So now 4:20 he gets there how long how long does it take him to get there? Seth um he I don't want to say. I don't really think of the actual I think I'd be like 4:38 when he was pulling up. Okay. I don't know what time it really is. I never looked at that time. You're you're inside at that point? Yes, we were inside walking out cuz he was texting me when he was close so Okay. And he just covered outside. Okay. Okay. So you Seth pulls up in you're inside you walk walking out. Mhm. And you guys head to the campground. And that is that 4:38 or 4:40 because it takes a couple minutes to put everything in. Mhm. Okay. You arrive at there what time you know no stops, right? Yep. We went straight there. Okay, what time you arrive there? I would say around 5:00. Okay. 5:00 p.m.? Yes. Arrive. Right? Correct. Okay. Now you're there and you forgot diapers. Right? So you leave there at what time to go get diapers? Like 5:00 at the latest I would say, right? So that was at It was literally right there cuz we had to go to the store on the first floor just right by the bathroom. So at 5:10 p.m.? I went ahead and read that down there. And that was you, right? Okay. I was so quick and so quick. I know. They're going they they have to go do it so I hope they told them the pouch, too. The pouch? Yeah. They're bringing everything to you. I'm trying to get them to bring everything to yours. Okay. So I think I wrote 4:30 there. Uh Belle Courtney you guys go to the CVS in Goshen. Correct. Where is that what Clowes Avenue it's called. The questions are tedious but making sure they get such details as which brand of a store Clemenza visited will save valuable time later. Can you spell it? Yes, c l o w e s. c l o w e s Avenue in Goshen. Correct. Goshen CVS Clowes at Goshen. Uh for diapers, right? Yes, diapers, wipes, um I got a macaroni cheese bowl and ice tea. Diapers, wipes wipes mac and cheese bowl What else? Uh ice tea. Ice tea. Uh that was it. Okay. How long? You were there for how long? Like 10 minutes cuz I had to buy stuff to go watch the soda go. So it was a little bit over again. Self check out, right? Yes. It was three self check out. Okay. Now 5:00 that's 5:20. You leave there. Then go right back to the house. 5:20 you're back in the house and you get back there what time? It would like take us like 10 minutes. So 5:30? Yeah. The latest. Return to Okay. So now you're at 5:30 you're at Right? You get to And you're there for how long before Mike shows up? What do you mean how long? Do you mean the food we ate at so I'm just finishing it up. And so I'd say like 5:45 5:50. Around there. So so It was literally like 20 to between 20 and 30 minutes. Okay, so 6:00 the latest. p.m. That's why I saw Bobby cuz he followed like he followed us. When we were inside we were coming from Justin. When he seen Justin Mike shows up at You see him, right? Okay. Mike I'll pick her up then. Wait, sorry. It's okay. Uh All right. So he shows up at 6:00. All right. You're there. All that happens. Right? Okay. We're going over that for right now cuz we're just looking at locations. Got you. Okay. So at what time do you guys approximately leave to go Let me ask you this. From Do do you do anything You're So you when you come back from CVS it's a short it's a 30 minute period time at the latest that he comes and knocks on the the window. So that's about 6:00. He does that and now Then he leave then he left he back. How long did he It was like maybe 10 minute span came back and then came in the door. So so 6:00 he he's there knocks on the window. Leaves for like a good 10 minutes and then Bobby sees him from his window coming back up the hill. Okay, 10 minutes. 6:10 you see him again at the house. Mhm. He's back at the front door, right? Yeah, that's when he shoots the front door and then he kicks it in. I don't know if he kicked it in or if I was told but I know the shot happened. Cuz it's not a casing it's actually a shotgun and a shotgun. Okay. Did you look at that? Yeah, cuz Seth had the shotgun when everything settled down and we went back it was underneath the um the bed where but I was like how was he going to ask do you know if it's loaded like unload it and he had no idea how to do it and when he pulled it out from like underneath the air mattress with an air mattress and cops so when he pulled it out I it was just like a casing like it never came out so I was like isn't it supposed to come out and Seth had no idea I had no idea. He's like I'm just going to put this in my closet so he can't reach it. And where is it now? It's it was wrapped in a green sheet in the closet in the top corner. In his bedroom? Correct. Okay. So 6:10 Mike at the front door 32 get out of the house all that happens. You guys leave what time to go to Cuz you didn't leave any other time to go anywhere. It was on top when I walked out of the house. To the end of the driveway, right? That's I would say approximately 7:30. Okay, so 7:30-ish? Yeah, cuz between the walking the whole scuffle then walking down the street that took about like a good 20 minutes half hour and then Bobby came and then that was like So it could be a little longer. It could be a little later but I'm going to stick around 7:30. Okay, so 7:30 p.m. the the scuffle ha you leave the house to go go to When do you arrive? I would say between 10 and 12 minutes later cuz he had me speeding. So 7:45? Yeah, if not cuz he yelled at me in the car. So yeah. Okay, so 7:45 p.m. you arrive. How long are you there for? Not long at all. Took like a minute cuz then they still had light. And then he only told me to speed. Okay. So 7:45 to 7:40 8. 8 you're there. Yeah. And then I asked him when we go home he said nope. Okay, then you go Um you go from there to where? Um I'm trying to think. Um once we got back to the house, Did you stop at the liquor store? Yes, but we were really going to stop at the liquor store. What was the liquor store's? I don't know the name, but I know it was Across from? It was across from like the Goshen Police Station and the old Baxter's Pharmacy. He told us he went inside and something like the craft beer bar and he got something. I think it was a Okay. So, 7:48 to what time do you actually get to the Baxter's? The liquor store. Um I don't know. This is in Chester, so We said 8:00. 8:00? Yeah. He was worried that it wasn't going to be open. Remember that? And I was really like All right. So, about 8:00 p.m. Um you get to the liquor store. All right. Mhm. And then at 8:00 p.m. How long was he in the liquor store? Not long. It all of us maybe 2 minutes. And all the people that are going with you on this on this Um is Bobby Seth Right? Yeah. Okay. So, now this one Bobby goes into the liquor store at what time? Um it was like 2 minutes later. It says 7:58. 2 minutes, yeah. You were saying you were leaving immediately. And he buys what? Hennessy. Anybody else going with him? No. Okay. So, he goes in the Hennessy. He buys the or he buys goes in the store and buys one Hennessy. Mhm. 40 oz, 20 oz, 30 oz? like that size. Okay. Okay. Um So, then That's how long was he in the store for? Like 10 minutes, roughly. 8:00 he leaves. Yeah. And you go where from there? And you go What time did you get out there? Well, from there it takes about 5 minutes. So, at 8:05? Yeah. 8:05 p.m. Okay. So, you two So, 8:05 you you um arrive there and from 8:05 until we call you You don't You never left there. So, from 8:05 p.m. until NYSP contacts Courtney Bobby Courtney Seth remain Clemenza is being so open with the information because she may be under the impression it will lower the charges against her. It will not. But the detective will allow her to believe what she wants as long as it helps the investigation. at Goshen, New York. Okay. What time did we reach out to you? What time did you get that call? Um Roughly. I think you guys said 5:00, right? Bobby? That's what he said after you guys left. He said 4:30, I think. Okay. And then I had food that he could steal. That part The detective is getting closer to the moments surrounding the attack. Now that Clemenza is only supposed to give a timeline for each movement, it may become more obvious during the points where she is trying to hide something by going off on a different subject. Okay. All right. Let me give you some breathing room here. Just relax and we'll see who's who we can get those meds for you, okay? Thank you. You're welcome. No worries. I was just wondering if you were in the bathroom. Yeah, we just make sure that there's somebody else here that to be able And just so you're in the So, they're going up to They're going up to uh So, They're going up there. They're going to go up there. Okay, but they got to get to get your stuff. They can't just barge in. Okay. So, that's what was taking a while. In the meantime, your mom, we're trying to get the medication that you have there as the spare Do you have any spare Is there anything? I do have a Okay. So, that's what we're going to get them for you. I mean, that was the main thing that you asked for. Um What's that? What does it do for you? So, that's Or what is that? They said when I first went, I was And water went and then they said maybe we should Well. I will ask. I came back and the only thing that would work was one of the ones with the um And they only They have to be on papers constantly back to back. And it's like weird. It's like sometimes Sometimes I can be without it for a few days, but like you just keep Did your Now, did your mom have the same thing? She has a thing bronchitis and like that. Worse, yeah. I don't know if I was even a smoker or a or She was always a smoker in the house. Oh, your mom was? Is she still? Uh she's going to stop. That's the worst. Older. Like those vape pens now, they became the new worst. Like worse. Yeah. The popcorn lung and stuff. Yeah. I don't know that you can like at least at least with the smoking what do they say? You can You stop and so you can get Yeah. but I think once you get that lung with the vape, it's like And she's on Wow. I could walk right now. I don't know if there's no law. The problem is that walk and then she's pushing the door open unless he like locked it from the inside. The problem is this. You know what I mean? Not yours. Cuz your house, maybe we could do that. But because because it's his house, you know, his room. Whose house is it technically? Well, if he if it would be his room. Got you. It would be his Seth's room, Tim's room. And then, you know, the downstairs is a is technically shared by those room the only stopping it? Right. And technically they share all those rooms together. The up there common area. Got you. So. I think Tim's the only one home right now. What's that? Tim's the only one that's home right now. He's sleeping. He goes back again tonight, then? I think so. And those are some long, hard hours. Now, if your uh mom was telling us telling me you you left uh Mobile and went down to Underhill. Is that the common area? Uh against all odds. Uh quick question. Yes. When were you like a grown up I lived with my older Like a whole different room. So, that's that's going to be again and and I'm going to be very honest with you. Let me just give me some clarification. So, what's going to happen is um they'll make the determination, okay, of what we do next. We have to leave this office cuz it's not our office. This is a This is the Village of Chester's Police Department, right? So, I'm a state trooper. Most of the people you've been dealing with here are state troopers. So, we are This is like we're being invited in here. So, we That's the thing is where we go next from here. Okay? So, we're trying to do it in a fashion that works for everybody is is you know, everybody's comfortable with, you're comfortable with, everybody's comfortable through the process. So, and then we'll go from there. As soon as I know what is the bottom line, you will know. Okay? But I don't make that determination. That's not me. Okay? Remember what I told you what my position was in this. I'm here to help you recall specifics, right? Because when you have a ton of stuff going on, you forget stuff. And if you remember when we started your story the first time around and the events They were very we had a lot of holes, right? me he wanted to go to jail. I get it. I get it. been. I get it. It doesn't have to Okay, and I and I'm and where I'm at right now is I've helped out I've done what I can do to help you recall things. Remember I told you there's a short period of time that we have in here in terms where I can you know help you recall and then there comes a time where you're just you you're you're done. You're not going to tell me anymore or recalling more because you reach a point where you think you've said everything, okay? Some people right? Some people I've had it where couple hours down the road or whatever they're in here, they've had a meal, they've had some time to take a nap, they wake up and they realize I remember this or I remember that and they tell me, "Hey, can I grab you real quick? I want to tell you something that I forgot to tell you before." Happens all the time. Other people remember that stuff, choose not to tell me and then I can't help I can't help you later. And that's what I'm telling you. Once I leave this room for good and I'm done I cannot help you anymore, right? What you tell me is what you told me and that is it. I don't add to it, I don't change it, I don't move it, I don't manipulate it, I don't do any I help you recall it and it is what it is. The detective is starting to wrap up the interrogation and he is stressing to Clemenza that she has a limited amount of time to tell the truth before it hurts her case. This will probably work since she has already expressed a fear of going to jail. But in this room I know when somebody's lying to me and I know when somebody's being deceptive, okay? And at the end of the day what did I tell you? I told Have I lied to you at all? No. Have I misled you at all? Okay. I've been pretty forward with you with everything, right? And that's how I choose to do things, okay? When I get the information, all right? from you and and you give it to me it's what it is. Now I try to make sense of it. It's very hard cuz I don't know this area. I don't know where the hell CVS is. And I have no idea where ShopRite is. And you you hear me say I've got 18 to 20 years on this job, 18 years on this job. But I didn't do it down here. There's a lot of counties that I cover, you know what I mean? This is one of them. So I don't know every back road. I just I just don't. There's a lot. There yeah, there's a lot of them. So that's why I say to you, "What CVS?" There's a lot of them. Could be three or four of them in a little you know 10-mi radius. That's that's what I'm I try to bring as much to the surface as you can recall as you can. If you choose to lie about what you know or don't or you omit stuff for whatever reason thinking you're either softening it for you or saving somebody else then when it goes where it goes it's on you, not on me, right? That's why I give you the maximum amount of of tries. Okay. That's just somebody probably getting ready for shift out there. So that's where we're that's where we're at. Please please That goes into Yeah, it's January that's bail and stuff for misdemeanors. So at the end of the day please and I and I'll leave you with this cuz I'm going to go get a drink of water. The end of the day if you recall something that we haven't touched upon as you're sitting here and you want to you have that opportunity knock on the door and bring me in and tell me, okay? But in that right now you still have that option, you still know your rights, right? You still know that you you know what your rights are, right? You know the English language, you know how to write, read They've treated you good, got a meal, you've been using the bathroom frequently, going outside with me, you know, to freeze. So at any time you should recall something that need that you feel is important even if you don't think it's important. You knock on the door and I'll come in here, I'll sit down with an ice cube to recall and then if I have questions to help elicit some more description or whatever, I'll ask them. If I don't then it is what it is. So if they picked Seth up here at the house, did they see the blood outside? Was the tarp still there or did you find out about that? I I I can tell you that I don't know the answers to to that to that. Um I'm assuming that those socks are out there. I'm assuming the tarp is out there. I'm I'm assuming that they saw what you said. You were pretty descriptive about what you said. I can only imagine. You didn't say it was you said it was gruesome. So I mean if if that's what you're saying then I bright red piles like the blood kept pouring out. So I mean that description alone tells me that anybody could see them. Not just guys who are trained to look for them. Right? I don't know how people could do that every day. Stop. Stop. Do you have a tougher day? That is crazy. I think it's nonsense. You said that before. Do you know if he's done this to somebody else? Do you know if he's ever talked about doing this to somebody? There was a talk about it but like the way he was just so nonchalant about it like You think he's done it before? It just looked like he was second nature like for me using this is what it was like to him. It's just really crazy. And like he did he saw the panic look on my face and that's when he saw like I just kind of walked back and that's when he kind of came down and was like, "Give me this phone." And I just like slapped him. I was like and I kind of like fell into the lounge. I just started peeing myself cuz I didn't know what to do and then I looked over staring at me and then she's looking at him like the big you know, scary clown. Oh, definitely never have a real blue child. That is just crazy. And like he just looked at me in the top of his scalp and I was telling him to stop and like he wanted to come down and beat me with the bat. Cuz he like lifted it and like pointed it towards me and I was like "You want some of this?" When you guys got back from from the liquor store after Mikey's dropped on It's you who it's you driving. Me driving with my words faster than my body could move. Who'd you give the keys to when you got home? I said to Bobby I just said you want them and he just said grab them out of my hand by the head. Clemenza is still adding small details to her story and makes Haskell out to be the instigator at every opportunity. When did you get those keys back? When did we wake this morning when I got the call to come to come meet the troopers? Yeah, police dogs. You asked for them back or he said Well, I said I you know, I said I got to go meet them at QuickChek and he said, "Oh, is Seth going with you?" And I guess Seth wasn't sure if he wanted to and then uh he was like, "Oh, well you should drive. It's your car." Technically you think you were being mean you should drive. And Bobby was like, "That's a [ __ ] good excuse." And then he went and changed and then he's like, "Well, I'm coming with you." So I don't know if he thought like we were going somewhere else or What was Seth wearing down at this whole thing? Um he had jeans I believe cuz he just got a new outfit. I remember talking about it. And then a Tony Hawk figure like uh striped shirt and it was like black and white or navy and white. But he changed he changed out of that. So he changed out of that before he went to the QuickChek with you? No, he wouldn't change. He was like so nervous he wouldn't take his shoes off. He was So what he was wearing at the QuickChek was what he was wearing down at the whole thing. He was uh he was like sitting in this chair just like this like panicked stricken look on my face. So he didn't change he didn't change at all from the time No, Bobby did though cuz I noticed he had on different pants when we left. I know What did he have on when he was in there? I don't really remember. I know I think he had a black like long sleeve shirt when um everything was happening. But I noticed he had the B&W pants on but when everything was going on he didn't have those on. So he changed his shirt and his pants? I don't I didn't see the shirt when we went to QuickChek but I know the pants are different. Yeah, when we got back from the liquor store he was like cuz he was very like nasty in the car and very uh like you know, kind of abusive towards Seth. Don't laugh and tell him like, "I've seen a lot of you." And then he'd like be like, "You know what? I blame you, Courtney, but it's not your fault." And I'm just like I just knew not to say anything. Cuz he was like screaming at Seth and then we got back and he must have did some shots or something and he kind of like calmed down and then he was like, "I got to answer a lot of people now because of this." And That was his only concern. Nothing else? Nothing. Did he ever apologize to you guys or apologize for doing it? Nope. He showed no sign of giving a [ __ ] Even like I saw Seth at like tears in his eyes. Seth is I feel so bad either like he didn't don't come from people like that. I was in the backseat and I was videotaping. I I'm just worried about her telling the truth about it. Please don't you say anything like that. Like revengeful type. He won't come home, right? What's that? He won't get out, right? He's still being interviewed. So, I don't know. As far as I know, he's still I don't know you know what his situation is right now. All I know is I while you're here, you can take you know, the opportunity to tell me what you know, what was said, things like that. Specific things that were said, specific things that you saw from people, specific things that you did, okay? I've learned a long time ago in this job that people will always always always minimize what they are part of because it's human nature to make your version of something benefit or be less you know, extreme, you know, when you when you say it, okay? It's just human nature. It's it's just human nature. The detective is correct. Most people, even those who are innocent, will do everything they can to distance themselves from a situation during questioning. Dreaming and he wants to go to sleep. Pee and he's banging on it. What are you doing in there? I'm like, I'm peeing. I'm cleaning myself up. Hurry up. I couldn't get out of like eyesight for more than like 2 minutes. I've never seen that side of him. That's what scared me. And after he hit me I think my head was I think my head was like I heard my ears ringing when he hit me. It was so hard. And you know what happened? He hit me like that. And I got into a fight with one of them with He just took my phone. I don't know if that's why he kicked us in the morning. Like Timothy or something because he got we're all going to be in the same place. Woo. When you when when you guys pulled up when you pulled up to the Quick check. Yeah, to the quick check. What did he say? He didn't really say anything. I said, "I'm going to go in for a drink. I'll be right back." Um I said, "Stop it Mike." I don't want to take her out in the cold. He said, "Okay." I didn't really know how everything was going to happen or what was going to happen. So, I just wanted to get him a drink before he tried to drive home. What do you want? Sorry. No, no, you're fine. I didn't know if I could talk outside or how everything was going to go. And prior to seeing that shotgun that Mike had And you know his grandpa has you know, has weapons. And when was the last time That shotgun I just seen that. I know he had like a They had like a bad I don't know like a squirrel problem, but that was like a pump BB gun that they had, but I know his grandpa does have a firearm. He does have a pistol permit. So, he he had where where you saw at the residence was a pump BB gun? No, no, I'm saying he has one of those, but I've never seen that rifle before. Maybe I know he usually like show off the grandpa's like uh pistols. Not like to bring them out like when we're at the house and show them. Mhm. Right. And then we'll check see if anything correlates to it, okay? Okay. And then we'll go from there. Okay? Like I said, if anything comes up and you're calling anything while you're sitting here relaxing Okay. You know, I understand this is emotional. I understand that there's a lot that happened. I understand that a lot of things went uh went down, you know? Yeah. But I also understand you got a great memory. I also understand that you're an intelligent person who has a bachelor's degree. And I know that you that that you know, as long as you stay away from those pitfalls of self-preservation and and lying, you should be you know, you should be able to come to terms with what would happen out there. You know what I'm saying? I think that you know, you know what your part was in it. You know? I'm talking and trying to get you to recall your part in it, right? You're going to see and hear a lot of things and that's all on you, right? Yeah. But your part is the part that you know was done because it's you, right? So, that's there's no interpretation there. You know what you did, right? You know that we have three other people that were at that location that know what went on, right? We get all their stories and some parts of it will be similar, exact, other parts will not. Clemenza should be worried about what the others are saying. And Slang may be willing to protect her to a certain extent, but Haskell and Smith have no reason. Right? The parts that you did the way that usually goes is the parts that aren't are the parts that make the person who's telling the story look bad because they're worried that it's going to make them look bad. That's human nature, right? But what I'm trying to make you understand and get you to understand is not always do the bad parts make you look bad. Sometimes the bad parts make you look believable. Sometimes they make you look human. Sometimes you can understand where you're coming from. But if you omit them, what does it make you automatically? A liar. There you go. So, you're not an uneducated person. You're very educated. Didn't take a lot to figure that out, right? So, just what I I I think you should take this time here, right? Because what I absolutely don't do is I do not tell you your you know, that's a lie. That's a lie. That's a lie. I tell you that a couple times to let you know it's not going to work in here. But then there comes a point in time where as we get closer in in the evening and then the day and whatever and the investigation goes on where we stop doing that because now you are a liar. You're a liar, right? So, it's counterproductive. If you want to tell a lie, that's your story. It's a lie, but later on when things go south, you are going to be held accountable for those lies, right? So, what I'm trying to do is prevent you from doing that right now and that's why I'm saying if you have anything at all and hints to recall or to talk to me about knock on that door, get a good rest, and I'll come in here and let you breathe out, air it out. Okay? So, I want you to think right now kind of you got your You're not getting those. So, those are going out. You have your water. I'm going to kind of take and give you a breather and you rap on that door we'll rap a little bit more and talk, okay?
