[Music] the first week of trial wraps up in Laredo Texas for a border patrol officer facing the death penalty prosecutors accuse him of killing his alleged mistress and young son over child support money this week several officers testified for the prosecution detailing Bergos avales at times bizarre behavior at the crime scene and while detained photos of injuries on the defendant were shown to the jury as well along with evidence of his police radio cell phone and DNA being present at the murder site Jesse I think it's all ego he trying to control that scene he thinks he can direct the other officers away from himself little did he realize they were already focused on him because they did get information right after they got to the scene that the victim basically said she was going to meet someone by his name at the scene border patrol agent Ronald AES was married to a fellow agent and they had two young Sons Amy AES thought they had a strong marriage but unknown to her AES was seeing other women one of those women was Griselda Hernandez the affair resulted in a child Dominic but Ailes had no interest in being a father at first this seemed to suit Hernandez who agreed to raise him on her own this worked for almost 2 years when Hernandez decided to go to school she realized she was going to need financial care she contacted AZ and he became a afraid that his wife would find out and his marriage would collapse AES set up a meeting in the same area where he would be patrolling he killed both Hernandez and Dominic and then pretended to discover the bodies you guys keep me the wrong we're we're not trying to do that we're just trying to get like I told the guy can I just make arrangement so somebody pick up my kids and yeah okay come on what time they get I 1500 has uh have you do you have members that can do that or you wife pick okay she what is she do she work somewhere okay um I guess before we start this process what's your wife's name um I have it on my you you're not allow to so you know we're still it's still their investigation we're trying to figure out all the details we need to hear everybody side the story arrested the other guys no right where to where is your stretch your jurisdiction how far does it run resp my station area the whole sector so from colia all the way down to where we found you pass that fur out further south and so what happened next you put on duty how did you end up where you ended up did you go was that your first encounter kind of like going toward no I [Music] went so day the station for a little bit let's just do like a little time okay you a memo you were station until what time just approximate I can't I can't tell you that 7 8 I can't I wasn't AZ isn't going to even guess about the timeline this works in his favor to avoid conflict with any witness statement or security footage that may prove where he was at a given time I wasn't aware of of the time it's just it's s Soul routine that you because the station I called me to go to the station and then that's when I I drove on that raiv and that's where you know what I saw stuff in body story so you found you found how many bodies you playing I I just saw that one person just so I saw that one person I just saw legs first yeah I ran there first I kind of freaked out grab my hand there like what's that called for it I try to her p like what do you think man what should we do because his military he's got a lot train military too but I don't have that type of training he has and he's like I don't know he he he started saying like what could it be it looks like dogs be her I don't know he started saying all kinds of stuff and which I don't should you know it doesn't matter what he said you know and um you know at the time um you know we kept taing her I think I don't know you know be freaking saying that I said because I think he F her P also and I ask him what you think and then I'm like he's like I don't know it's really hard for me to tell because the position it was so we get tempted to but then at that time I kind of realized you know what man we touch chck with me both so who from where where you from I don't know I think I gra her by like by like shirt shoulder like cuz you know like this like that in the arm and I don't know what he got just saw his and so when you did that how far did you all get up you got was pretty quick because then I realized we're touching we're touching with a GL so at that time he he told his traine you have any gloves and train so he put his on and he move your we put gloves on and um Fu man I can't remember I after that man I think I told go just don't touch him man because I mean at that time I was saying like don't you because I mean I kind of like already the I've seen people pass out because they walk for Miles with no water and you think they're dead and then when they freaking take me to the hospital they the people of elz describes aren't surrounded by in my throat I wash my hands there and I told the guys do c to for exposure because we touch their bear okay so in this particular situation I me you know you're not seeing that she's passed out because of key exposure you see because blood force trauma and it's pretty clear the blood trauma blood pull of blood usually that's a sign a discussion that we had with you and with L and with SM was my head man I wasn't thinking what happened did she got shot in the head did she got freaking cuz I say something about dogs because it was a guy walking with dogs sh that he mention that moment that was going on I wasn't thinking that [ __ ] that's no you're get me wrong I'm not saying that you're supposed to know what she had the only thing we saying is that just by looking at it you know that it's a serious serious injury whatever whether it's a you know she on the head or whether you know she was assaulted with something else that's all I'm saying you should have known that she was there I say you should have known she was de sound like like come on man you should have known better you should have known that that it was pretty dang serious I knew it was serious but I told you I want to put in the radio some we got that we clarified that so you guys move her couple times did you get a good look at her did you say did you say at one point who's this em trying show you how far we she drove a truck 2 years years truck so you've been Senor in the side from your wife that was years ago and my wife were had issues you know she left and she came back with when she came back no how long ago did you break up with G never the social day it was just like but it was intimate intimate relationship sex just friends with benef right now now you understand what I'm telling you like I discovered that someone they know has been murdered and a child okay tell us what happened with what with the incident that you discover are you telling me it's a coincidence that you discovered a person dying you know that died that was murdered it was a coincidence yeah yes that's PR is there any chance that this child can be yours what like I was telling you finish my story sorry all so I
