court Katrina Leighton apologized for her actions Katrina Leighton sat tearfully in court this afternoon for sentencing on charges of tampering with evidence abuse of a corpse and obstruction of justice special prosecutor Dan caceras said while Leighton was not responsible for the victim's death she was deeply involved in trying to conceal the crimes and dispose of the victim's body calling her the captain of this criminal Enterprise this video contains the interrogation of a woman who helped her boyfriend to murder his lover for 7 years Katrina Leighton was involved in what she believed to be a fairly committed relationship with Anthony noova no no helped to raise her two children from a previous marriage and while there were struggles Leon thought that noova was satisfied with their life that abruptly changed when noova met Shannon Graves he soon broke up with Leighton claiming that he wasn't ready for the responsibilities of being a father and was tired of being tied down Nova's infatuation lasted about 4 months before he started having second thoughts and he and Leighton started the process of getting back together during that time time Graves conveniently disappeared Paving the way for Leighton to move in with noova graves's family and friends were concerned but not a trace of her whereabouts could be found the case might have gone unsolved if noova and Leighton hadn't made a crucial mistake friends of noova allowed him to store a freezer in their basement one day the wife decided that she needed some ground beef and didn't think noova would mind if she bypassed the improperly installed lock on the freezer instead of Packaging meat she found the freezer contained a garbage bag of the partial remains of Shannon Graves so what I got you here one of the reasons we've been knocking on doors down there okay is because we're looking for Shannon oh yeah I've heard something about that I haven't really been following it all too closely all like that just because I mean for the simple fact that me and Anthony were together for about seven years and then you know we just needed a break we split up for a little bit they were together for a very short period of time we started talking we got back together so I when did you get back together oh God we started talking again give me a second I know they were together for like four or five months before we started talking again so trying to think when they got together let me think I'm just trying to think the dates I know it was 2016 like maybe towards the end of the year I don't really exactly know what month they got together like actually started dating you know what I mean I was wondering when you got back with Anthony oh okay um I mean just recently because I had to have been about I don't know I wasn't even keeping track honestly I would even keep a track um let me think was it before Christmas I'm trying to think when I actually move back in with him that's why um I think it was like the beginning of February we actually kind of started just Leon and NOA got back together shortly before Graves went missing went got back together you know what I mean I'm just trying to with them I think so I'm trying to I'm just trying to think because yeah I think I I know she was already moved out when I moved back in because you know we're not going to be in the same house together obviously it happens but I wouldn't think so no no not at all we've had that happen no no no no so when you got back with Anthony she was already gone oh yeah she you have any idea when that was we're we're trying to find her and we're I'm just trying to we're trying to narrow down timelines but we keep running into people that you know it's been a couple months now so things kind of blur together yeah I mean see the problem was is I just really wasn't paying attention but it could have been like January beginning February somewhere around there I would say were you seeing them before you moved in yeah we were already kind of talking okay we were already trying to kind of working things out I mean you got to realize we've been doing this for seven years it just now hit eight years you guys don't have kids together but you've a long time yeah he helps take care of mine he helped raise mine so before you moved in with him you were seeing him a little bit or yeah we were talking we were you know was he still seeing at that time uh they were together but not really it was just kind of they were each doing their own listen I talked to Anthony about it and he said this thing with her wasn't in his opinion it wasn't a serious thing he was just having fun with her yeah that's pretty much what happened she was a dancer and for him she was a stripper for him it was I'm sorry I just don't agree with that lifestyle but well I mean for him he just said look this was just kind of like a fun thing I did with her basically what happened is when we got together it was just this thing where it just grew into something you know and he went from having no kids to having all this responsibility you know watching the kids while I worked stuff like that right so I mean after a while guy that has no kids gets overwhelming you know yeah so we kind of split up because he felt real like you know just confined trapped yeah I was always you know yelling about the house being clean and you know stuff like that I was doing 20 million things at once you know overnight family for him though huh it was like an overnight family for him yeah pretty much so it was like it was just one of those things and we needed a break you know I got you and she was just fun at the time she had no kids you know stuff like that he could she was no responsibility right they you know he could just get up and go and you know so he was seeing her when he was with you then or well they got we had split up they got together and I know I think they were together like four or five months before we started talking again okay somewhere around there and at the time when we started talking again it was just kind of like talking we were just kind of trying to fix everything you know we weren't even really sure if we were going to get back together well yeah but it just kind of what was she like you want my honest opinion well that's what I'm asking before um she was trouble in my opinion okay I feel like she just didn't care about other people leighton's opinion is colored by her jealousy over her graves's relationship with noova or throwball be because of the fact that like for instance with me I have my car you know what I mean I know Anthony doesn't have a license so therefore I don't let him drive my car yeah but she because you know she danced all night obviously that's what strippers do well you know then she slept all day so therefore he got to take her car and just get all her errands done fix the car do the grocery shopping go here go there basically he was like her soer that's my opinion in it though so he let her she let him drive her car basically it was like an even exchange she let him drive her car in exchange for you know just her being able to sleep all day oh okay you know so he basically got to so he did all the running all the running around took the dog out you know all the work around the house the cleaning the cooking you know she was just kind of there to work and when the last time you saw her from her me personally it's been a very long time because of the fact that you know obviously we're not going to be around each other yeah um so so but this year have you seen her no oh no I haven't seen her I'll be honest with you uh there was a time where they had gotten they had went over to um like Campbell to a friend's apartment and she was there with him um and me and her kind of got into a little you know yelling match because you know I'm trying to talk to him and she's like all in my face and stuff and that's probably the last time I saw and that was sometime in 2016 she was a little possessive of them because she knew who you were what she from what she told her ex-boyfriend and God only knows how many other people she only slept with him to make me mad and he had told me that and well that went on for a long time yeah well I guess it originally started like that I don't know exactly what it turned into for her but it didn't seem to be much you know did she know who you were to do that oh yeah she did did how she know who you were because um they were saying well let me rephrase that he was staying at a house over um his friend Clown's house yeah and you know he had moved in there when me and him were having problems you know try to space it out a little bit and her boyfriend fiance rather me fix that her fiance at the time was in jail she moved in there strictly because he wanted her to stay there while he was locked up go this is what I've been told okay um so therefore she was living there he was living there and there was a bunch of times you know I would go over and she would just be around and she would be down there and she would be in the space and I kind of started like you know looking and like so this fiance you talking about it's John yeah so John have wanted her to stay there so that she would stay out of trouble right but Anthony was there so that's how they met mhm so she knew you from you visiting him yeah I was over there all the time and then slept with him the fish yeah she knew I was there like she knew why I was there makes sense yeah I was there only for him I mean yeah you know I knew everybody in the house but you know have you talked to John has John's been kind of conducting his own investigation I noticed have you talked to him uh he sent me a message on Facebook a while back ago um I guess when he first found out and I told him I said I really know anything so I haven't seen her since God knows when you know yeah with every statement Leighton is careful to distance herself from having any contact with Graves she is hoping that because it would be natural for her to avoid her boyfriend's ex the detectives will not look at her too closely however Leighton has I'm trying to figure out what the hell is going on I haven't seen or heard from her or tried to since back around Christmas I said I don't know either honestly I haven't heard her name come up in quite a while because me and him don't talk about her he knows you know yeah I don't want to hear about somebody he messed around with like I just don't I'm cool on that you know we're fixing what we're doing then whatever it's fine you know he was like okay sorry to bother you so late I had to ask and I told him this is one of the rumors I did hear I said I do know she left Anthony because he wasn't working that was a long time ago because you know pretty much her whole relationship he wasn't working yeah you know so I mean he had little yeah he's working out little side jobs here and according to her standards and what I've heard from people she was the type that want to be with somebody who had a lot of money who could take care of her where she could just kind of live that life and she could just kind of do what she wanted well how's it got no job fit that though John's in prison so I mean all I know about him for two there yeah all I know about him is that he went to jail uh for drugs or something like that and then he came out and was supposedly this reformed Christian guy because I all he talks about his God from what I okay that's all I know like I don't know him personally I've never met him I have I've talked about like you never met him never I've talked to him on Facebook you ever talked to you about when he got out of jail did he ever talk to you about the possibility of him getting back with her and you getting back with Anthony yeah see here here's why I'm there's a lot of messages he's I I know him and you know he says things and I'm like I don't know what's right what isn't but did you talk to him about wouldn't it be nice if he got back with her and you got back with Anthony or something that we've had I mean there's a a lot of conversations between us because he friend requested me when he got out of jail that's why I said I've talked him on Facebook and like there was a point in time where there was text messages somewhere um I don't even know if he has that phone anymore but I mean there was a lot of talk about you know it seemed like he was I don't want to put it I'm trying to think at first it seemed like he would do anything he could to get back with her but then he claimed that he was just like Beering off and doing his own thing um and then I seen something on Facebook where he said that she tried messaging him some night where she got into an art the male friend at a house party okay um but then he told me he hasn't seen her since before Christmas so I don't really know what's up there but I mean in all the conversations that we've had um I mean there was talk about you know he basically said that she was waiting for the right moment to leave him um she was just you know weighing her time and her options he wanted her back oh yeah definitely and she kind of wanted to go anywhere she did she she got what she wanted out of Anthony so I mean what I this is where confuses me because there was a bunch of talk about them getting back together like and and I do know from what he said um they had broke up for a week graves's previous boyfriend had nothing to do with her disappearance but Leighton is more than willing to point the detectives in his Direction and he Anthony had kind of left but supposedly she had him over at the house John Star had John over at the house that's the apartment you yeah okay and I knew he was there because he literally described the entire apartment to me and I asked Anthony I said is this what the apartment looks like that was before I had ever went over there yeah and he goes yeah and I was like well he knows what the apartment looks like and this he's telling me that they were on the couch and they were you know kissing and this and that and the third and supposedly she wants to have sex with him again and he wouldn't so I've it it's been on and off with stuff like you know he's saying that she wants to get back with him MH and she was just waiting for the right moment to leave him and at one point she was talking about leaving stfe with him and then it was kind of like well I'm going to give her space type thing yeah so I mean I would have to literally go back in all my messages to find everything but well John's kind of a strange guy I don't know I just wondering if you got the impression that he was waiting on her to come back to him or he was trying to do something to come so to make that happen it seemed he seems like he's really interested in her especially now he seemed like to me as just you know an outsider looking in it seemed like he did love her and he was really upset with the fact that she obviously cheated on him I mean they were engaged when he was locked up I do know that I've seen pictures of her wearing a ring and stuff um I see I just I don't know him that well so I don't want to kind of put anything on him as a person but just from the gist I got he wanted her back he was kind of waiting around for her to come back seeing if she was going to leave Anthony got upset when she didn't you know was like it's whatever you know claimed he was talking to somebody else it was a lot of back and forth with it I just when you when you moved in with Anthony was is her stuff still there no she had taken everything from what I know of she had taken everything I don't really know you were no cloer no I don't remember seeing anything mean her dog was there yeah her dog was there in her car yeah according to according to what I've been hearing um when she left she basically told them you know can you hold the dog for me and he said yeah he said you know but since you're kind of up and leaving you know um can I use the car just till I get around so I could get around try to get some work this and that so they had some sort of mutual agreement over the car on the dog I'm not really sure of all the details but I just know that they had some sort of mutual agreement over you know she had another car I've heard stories about she had a Toyota I don't know what kind supposedly was that clowns well I mean because like if she left her car then how is she getting there around you know what I mean yeah well supposed I mean from what I've heard she left with some guy I that some guy we don't know who it is yeah I just I do know that this is all before you got there you're hearing this from Anthony I'm just hearing stories from different people you know just little things here and there um I do know that she had a lot of outside clients I guess You' call them I don't know really what they're called but you clients like she was stripping yeah but she had also a lot of clients outside of work that she would work for realizing that throwing suspicion on graves's EX might not be enough Leighton also suggests that there are unknown clients who could have potentially been involved she has no evidence that they existed but she will use anything that will distract the detectives from her and noova and now what kind of work you talking about prostitution or what I don't really know I just well I mean she's a stripper so she like I I guess You' call Private dances she a too or I mean I don't understand in my opinion I mean she stripping is whoring so I I just I mean it's a fine line but I just feel like when you say a client I'm like what's a client I mean like I just know that she had you know how you have clients like in the club that you know you dance for stuff like that she also had that stuff out outside of work like on the side so she privately danced on the side yeah I don't know what else she did I don't know if it was actually dancing or other things I didn't get all the details I got you but I just know that she clients on did Anthony do that with her is that how he no oh no he told me about it you know he didn't go into like straight detail do he normally take her to work yeah so he drove her as to where was she Cleveland aan all over the place all over the place yeah so he would drive her all over the state with no license man he was really taking a chance yeah and basically he was you know it was basically to keep her happy and you know he got in return he got you know the comfortability of being able to get up and you know go drink at the bar and they driving all over the place Jes yeah I imagine in the middle of the night because they work late oh I heard a couple of stories where she got quite drunk you know you kind of understand that if you had to do that for a living yeah yeah I just see my problem with it is that I came I came from very poor household but I picked my I was I took care of my brothers when I was little but I picked myself up I got myself you know through high school I got myself to college I had my kids a little young but I did what I had to do and now I'm going to I went to school for a certified nurses aid and now I do home health aid work so for me it's a little hard for me to understand the stripping scenario because it's like even if you have a hard life I was just taught that you pick yourself up and you just keep pushing forward you know what I mean like you just do what you have to do to make a good life for yourself so I guess that's why it's just hard for me to Invision that type of life because I would never do it I just think it's kind of gross I'm sorry I'm just being honest so when you get there none of her stuff's there I don't remember anything being her dog in her car yeah did uh I don't really remember seeing anything one thing that John told us one of the that's his cell phone it was like a little minute phone who cell phone that's Anthony's okay um I don't think it's any longer in service that was like one of those minute phones those are bones but I mean I got my phone now so it's like I don't but I was using it like temporarily type thing you were using it yeah but before you she was using it yeah I do know I do know she was using his phones because so John being like well you know I used to call it this number and now when I call it it's she's using it I well see here's the weird thing about that yeah because when if he ever called that phone I never talked to him on it no he didn't say he talked that's what I was gonna say I've never talked to him on it no what he said was he normally talked to her on it oh but one time when he called it something was different about maybe you have a greeting on her or something that said Katrina I don't know maybe that's what so from our point of view this this girl disappears yeah she leaves behind her dog which everybody says is her baby but believe what you want on that she leaves the car behind which and listen there was a history like you said about clowns there was another car she left behind yeah so she leaves her car she leaves her dog but but then she leaves his phone and no the Anthony's go ahead I'm sorry not new girlfriend but old girlfriend who's now back is not using the phoneon was using yeah and so it looks weird I'll be honest with you I'm like I wonder if that's Anthony's phone yeah he just lets whoever was with him at the time he use it well John shut her phone off originally Leighton had claimed that she didn't know Graves well and had as little to do with her as possible that would have been understandable but the longer she talks the more specific details Leighton is able to come up with which shows that she had a deeper connection than she was willing to admit I do know that what phone she had a cell phone through him another phone yeah and it was weird because at one point he was um messaging me asking me so I had the on five at one point and the on five it's a phone through Metro like that they s you know and they had a big promotion going for it and I told myself well I had just gotten mine you know and it's a really good phone blah blah blah I even have the messages for that and he was talking about getting a new phone well I found out later that he got that phone for her it wasn't for him I was just giving him advice because I thought he needed a new phone he had just gotten out of jail he got a phone for who for star for Shannon what do you mean he got it for her not for him no he got it for her he gave it to her yeah did yes and that phone he also shut off and I have messages in my Facebook where he said he was going to shut her phone off oh so he shut her phone off on her I'm guessing maybe because she when was this I have to look is it before she was missing or oh yeah this was a while ago I know that and that's when she I guess started using you know little black phone the little mini phone so that black phone that minute phone isn't was never hers technically you know what I mean well that makes sense yeah yeah that totally makes sense so I mean when my phone was off you know I just use that until I got when she left with this other guy was Anthony upset about it at all did he did he seem like it hurt his feelings or anything or I mean honestly I don't think he really Anthony's how don't want to put it Anthony's been through a lot okay he lost his best friend back in 2014 his best friend got killed Cory ccraft I'm sure you so you know he doesn't really I don't know he's he's still trying to recover from that you know I don't think he lets things get to him anymore you know it's like he's so hurt from the from that that he kind of dist himself from people and even me and him it took a lot for me and him to get back where we were because he was so you know he shut down um reason I'm asking one of the things that John told us was about this we had a fire over on the Southside where some people were burning some stuff in a fire pit and um I don't know there was a guy who was a friend of anon's okay who helped him take some things of hers over into a fire pit and in front of a whole bunch of people he don't know then burning her clothes which could be interpreted a couple different ways okay it could be interpreted one this was my girlfriend she left me she went with some guy now I gotta watch your dog till she gets back screw her yeah which would make sense yeah I got you but when I asked Anthony about it he said it never happened but I've got like four people watched them do this and I'm like why would you not I mean as far as I know I don't know nothing you have a breakup with your boyfriend and you burned his because he left you I understand that yeah totally understand that but if 10 people in this case four people tell me you burned your boyfriend and when I ask you about it you're like no it never happened man that get you thinking you're like as far as I know she just came and got herself stuff and left you know what I mean I you got to remember I was with them for a long time before they got together and in the seven years that me and him you know were together we've never had crazy disagreements you know we've had our arguments and our share of you know little cats but he's not a violent person he's never done off-the-wall stuff where he burns stuff and does this and does that well he does have a history of arson will he has been arrested for arson so yeah that was so for a guy that was a long time ago for a guy who who burned Burns things up no I be pissed off of an ex-girlfriend and burn her no looks weird no again it makes sense to me totally makes sense to me until he says it didn't happen and I got like well why would four people who have no investment in this yeah tell me something I mean like I said on my end as far as I know nothing was burnt I mean he usually you know me and him were always real close you know so I mean if he had gotten upset with her and done something like that he would have told me I think I mean I'm pretty sure he would have okay um but I I just don't see him doing something like that I really don't because he's not a what's the word I'm looking for not conniving but um vindictive yes there we go he's not a indictive person you know it's just kind of like he lets stuff go and it is what it is type thing if you want to leave you know there's nothing I can do to stop you you know it is what it is type thing you know I don't know I just it's hard for me to believe any of that because well we're just trying to figure out no I know just from what I know we're just we're looking into all these different things and we're hearing all these things and and most of it like the phone thing yeah totally understand he had a phone when she was there she used it now you're there you used it now the thing's done totally makes sense and a lot of these things even leaving the car because she's done that before the car was a piece of it was how long is the car going to run anyway the detectives have allowed Laton to believe that they have accepted everything she has said at face value she is competent which means that she is more likely to let something SLI by accident I know I had a blown head gask if you're GNA well how long's it going to run anywh blown head gask if you're going to fight over something ain't going to be a car it's going be broke tomorrow no and that was the thing that was the other thing I do know that he did say is that she was going to scrap the car and he said well since you're just going to scrap it can I just use it you know what I mean and then you know he got himself into a little bit of trouble where yeah it got impounded yeah and then because you know obviously she didn't want the car you know we left it there like I mean it's well yeah why I mean had a blown head you could get it anyway well yeah I know that even if you could find her and transfer the title would you want the car it wouldn't be worth the money to transfer probably no blown hand gasket it's a blown head gasket but it was worth it to go down and get the stuff out of it well I mean the little bit of stuff that we had in there like I don't know you know I mean it was really nothing personal that he wanted really to go down and get his radio out of there and they wouldn't let him take the radio right and he had bought that radio I guess yeah so I mean the little bit of decent stereo worth more than the car probably probably I mean I not sure how much you know what else was in the car um couple of blankets but I think they were hers um trying to think we took out one blanket but that was oh you old yeah I CU I had to drive my car down cuz at the time I had my license was fine so I had to drive him down there to get like whatever little stuff he had in there I know he had a clone I think it maybe had deodorant I don't really all remember what was in there maybe papers there were some papers of yours in there still yeah oh okay there might have been there's a mail from late February early March oh okay there might have been I don't even really know what was left in there there was probably a lot of garbage left in there did you uh happen to notice if you grabbed her Direction card out there I don't think so NOA was using graves's Direction card months after her death which is a form of fraud I'm assuming she had that with her I mean have you uh ever been shopping with him um just with mine my direction card and his because he has his own dire yeah okay that's what I was gonna say he has his Direction card and he has Have You Seen Her using his Direction card or him using her Direction card I don't think he ever has no I don't think so I mean when we go shopping he just whips out a card you know I assuming it's his I mean because he has his I have mine so I mean as far as I know it's just kind of funny because her card was still being used after she disappeared oh okay at places all around where did you guys shop at um I personally I personally like um rly Brothers I like really brothers umus town no no not Austin Town the one out Borman like out South Avenue um Walmart like whever Walmart I'm close by to I've been there a long time ago not often cuz that one so further out you know what I mean you got bman usually bardman or um Liberty so if you guys would go shopping you'd use your card and he'd use his card yeah usually I mean that's or I'll give him my card to use you know or he'll give me his card sometimes you guys bought separately is that what you're saying too yeah I mean there's been occasions where once say store separately because I made or you go together but buy separately things or you guys always just buy well we always just like pick everything out together you know and then either like just one of us about a card but that's how we've always done in the past this summer was eight years so I mean you know all together so I mean it wasn't really like a big thing to us I guess we just shared our Direction cards I got you yeah well you work yeah he doesn't so the only way he can contribute is by using his Direction card yeah at the time I mean he finally started working so those are things you work out when yeah and that's you know that was part of our biggest thing back then you know I had a steady job and I was working so much it was just easier for him to stay home with kids but after a while it got you know to be too much because he felt like he wasn't contributing he was like I'm not working I'm always at the house with the kids well then in the meantime he's out getting arrested for stup stuff to just doesn't help things right what car you do have gets to well anything he got in trouble with with that car was you know nothing to do with me no absolutely just put it like that when he was with me he stayed out of trouble doesn't help when you're trying to pull things together no it doesn't still doing dumb yeah which is what happened when the car got there her car got there you guys were back together when that happened I feel a little bad about that I will say because uh Jr was at the house he was really drunk I had be up at 6:00 in the morning and I was kind of like doing one of those numbers Anthony I can't freaking sleep I got to be up at 6 a.m. and he's loud as yeah you know it's just like come on like be a little Cooperative here yeah sure just like and finally I guess he felt so bad that he just B home so I feel a little bad about the yelling and screaming that's when he ends up running from the police I don't know what he think well I don't think he was oh no I yelled at him when he got home after he got home and I cleaned him up I'm like what were you freaking ding like why didn't you just stop just stay there stop and get a ticket it's all so but his license is so screwed up yeah well I guess he thought it was going to be worse a lot of people were in that but were so let me ask you this I'm just a little weird I everybody this because we've been looking for this girl now for well it's been almost it's been more a mon you think she's alive me personally from her history that I heard of I feel she's probably just out dancing it up some worse that's just me though I don't know her personally like all these other people do I never cared to you know that just wasn't on my agenda to know her personally she just kind of disappeared though but I mean I just know that I've heard she has a history disappearing she does I don't know how long she does um problem is is like we don't there's a couple things we do yeah um she's the kind of girl that would get in contact with the police now and then okay kind of like Anthony okay and you get pulled over even you if I was to right now run your name to see what cops have contact with you I would have a bunch yeah and same with Anthony hers it's like she's gone yeah face of the Earth yeah and I don't this card of hers got used for a little while but then when it ran out because only she could reup it oh it didn't get reup like she was living on this card which I'm sure like you are yeah if your card disappeared tomorrow You' get a new one yeah I would have to um the only see just the only problem that I have with it is that the stories that I've heard of her is she has no problem mooching off a guy M being comfortable letting them do everything and dancing her life away pretty much it's kind of the opposite of what you did with Anthony he moved stuff for her drove her car yeah she got to do what she wanted pretty much well she could do that anyway Leighton has no sympathy for what may have happened to Graves normally even a stranger would have be able to manage a token show of concern but Leighton can only express her disdain this in itself isn't a sign of guilt but it makes it easier for the detectives to believe that Leighton may know what happened if she isn't directly responsible herself not what she was with true that's part of the reason she left locked up no this was out I'm talking about after he got out oh when he was trying to get when they were like so you saying maybe she was using Anthony as cover so that she wouldn't have to be all the TR I think they were kind of using each other for comfort is how I've always looked well you don't got to work if you got a car to you so yeah I've always looked at it as it goes both ways um he has a car to drive he can go out and do whatever he wants whenever he wants can get around you know and in return she gets to sleep all day she doesn't have to go food shopping she doesn't have to go grocery shopping she doesn't have to go to the store for anything she doesn't have to go anywhere she doesn't have to go food shopping well she doesn't have to do anything really she doesn't have to take the dog out she doesn't have to go get the car worked on she doesn't have to do anything because he'll do it for her she would have to do food shopping not if she gives him her card oh is that what she did I mean as far as I know I've seen a couple times where he went to the store for her like way back like when they first like got together and stuff I mean they've he went food shopping for her for the household when they first got together he was food shopping for her when they when they got that apartment together when they got that apartment together I know that he was doing everything in the household he was doing all the shopping they're running around taking care of the car taking care of the dog you were talking him the whole time that she was with it not the whole time no but these are the stories when they first got the apartment yeah these are the stories that I've gotten like you know he he's pretty much done everything you know she didn't really have to do much is what I'm saying except for sleeping strip I mean they probably went to the store together here and there I mean I'm assuming they did at some point or another but God that's my job hang on one second well I don't know like I said though the whole thing so you think she's just hiding out somewhere I mean from what I the the problem is from my point of view is everything that I see is just from what I've heard in pure speculation on my opinion I didn't know her personally I didn't know her personal life you know I just know what other people have told me is the problem so you know when I talk to John you know he tells me you know like that whole time you know he wanted to get back with her they were talking yeah that's what he said this that the third he said while they were living together he can talk to you about it yeah and then you know I'm just assuming I mean I guess it's just from me and him being together you know I would send him to the card when or to the store with my card you know he would send me to the store with his card it was just yeah no that happens you know so I mean I'm assuming that while they Liv together I mean yeah she might have went to the store a couple times here and there I know of course he's going to go shopping you know too she's asleep and he's hungry of course he's going to go to the store and get food I mean it's just like a common sense thing I know I would go get food you know you're hungry you think anthy killed her no and I'll tell you why because I've known him a very long time and I've never once seen a violent side to him ever like I just never have like it's never been like that between us I guess you know I just I don't know I mean just it's just me though people do things when you talk to them when they're saying things and it's funny because they do these things and you're like wow you know it's sometimes it's very subtle and it's hard to get a read on people yeah other times it's like a punch in the face and when I just asked you that you swallowed hard like you were choking something down and I was like holy crap I've had people literally I've talk to them when I ask them a question they do this and you're like you know you hear about these kind of things you know like playing I just some things are like so subtle but I asked you that and I was like man it made my blood run cold no I mean just to me it just I don't know I mean it's just a weird question for me I guess yeah because expect well it's not like well it's just it's not like people are going to ask you every day a question like that and I don't ask people that every day yeah I just I don't know it just seem you look at all the stuff and you're like well you know what do you think I mean you're closer to that guy than anybody I could think of yeah I I I've not even really met the guy because he want to answer his door but um and you know when you're looking for somebody that's missing one of the first things anybody's going to ask me what did you talk to the guy she live with what's he say well the guy she lives with uh well I will tell you a little hard to find I will tell you he does work all night so he does sleep during the day okay he's a very tough sleeper you know he's a very heavy sleeper so um there's been times where we have not answered the door and I will tell you why because we didn't know who it was we had so much trouble with Tim and Tanya coming and banging on the doors and the windows and trying to figure out the dog is and all this other crap that when I'm home by myself I'm not going to open the door because I don't know if they're going to try to start trouble the detective points out one of leighton's physical tals letting her know that they believe she is holding back information this rattles Leighton and in her effort to explain she is more likely to give away more than she had planned okay so Vladimir is some sort of relation to Tanya and I know that he's trouble yes um I've heard 20 million stories about him and I just don't none of those people drive police cars do they well I mean I don't look out the window I just you know I hear the knocking and I'm just like I'm not opening that because of the fact that if it's Tim and Tomy I don't want them trying to start crap let me ask you this if you get arrested and you go to jail well in this case he didn't actually go to jail there were a ticket and they released them okay and you go all the way to probation and you give your probation officer a false address and phone number well no the address and phone number that is probation officer I has on file that's where his that's his mom's address and he's back and forth like he was back and forth like he still has a little apartment up there so like all his mail just goes there that's it's been like that for years even when we live together all his mail went there that's nothing new that's just I mean his bills go to the apartment but so you understand the purpose of probation so that people can check on you I mean yeah I'm assuming I just I don't in Li of going to jail yeah they I mean extend you the courtesy of trusting what you say yeah so that when they come there they can say yep I'm here to see wait a minute and when Mom says wait a minute are you as probation officer or you a detective yeah and it's kind of like what's the difference he live here doesn't he yeah well if you're his probation officer yes he lives here but if you're a detective looking for a missing girl that might be dead then no he doesn't live here oh no his mom let me tell you about M his mom is straight As far as I know his mom's straightforward no yeah she's straightforward no she's straight but I mean you know if you do this long enough you know even when the kids when you knock on the door and the kid answers the door yeah is Anthony here and they're like let me get my mom what do that mean yeah no I mean I weird things here that I get it that seemed like I mean if here's the thing if he needs to switch his address over to the apartment you know of course well he can you know it's kind of like when I asked you where do you live yeah then what' you say my mail goes to my mom's but I'm staying there yeah and I said where do you live yeah technically you don't live on Whipple no I I guess yeah it's like technically I don't live there but my mail goes there you know what I mean okay it's just like and I did that also because at the time so I didn't who here is a spy what do you mean a secret agent I mean it's it's like what are we talking you James Bond here I don't all right well James Bond I'm just asking where you live the only reason you know what I mean I was always funny about you know I don't tell people that I live there because I thought the leore didn't know that I was actually living there okay you know and I didn't Anthony just I didn't want him to get in any trouble he you know moved me in help me out only a one bedroom apartment I'm not the landlord police it just like that's the thing like I'm not the landlord police I'm here because I'm looking for a girl yeah when I ask but to answer your question about that they live and what the phone number is I'm actually looking for real information not not well my land or not I don't want my probation officer to know that I really don't live there you know I mean to be honest with you he's violated okay from day one from the minute he lied about where he lived he violated well any time we wanted we could answer your the problem okay I have well what I'm saying is how does it make you feel that four grown-ups to I mean have no stake in any this I don't know who these four grown-ups are you know I don't know what their opinion of the situation is it's not we're not talking about opinion well I'm just say I don't know if they were friends with her opinion screw things up yeah we're talking about as facts I mean I don't know if they were friends of hers you know I don't really know details as a problem I'm a very literate person okay like I have to know I have to know does any of what I'm telling you right here does any of this bother you give you as in give you cause to think about what's going on here and what might happened and the situation that you and your kids are in I mean I feel bad that she's missing of course because it's never good for somebody to be missing it's never good for some let's be clear here she might just be missing Leon finally realizes that her lack of concern is causing the detectives to be more suspicious she changes course but she is quickly becoming just as much of a suspect as noova you know she could just be missing because she's the kind of girl that was a a dancer and God knows what else and disappeared from time to time if you're asking me if I think Anthony had anything to do with it no because so you don't believe she's dead and you don't believe if she is dead he would have anything to do with it if she is I don't think he' have anything to do with it just because how about true I don't know I don't know him that well okay I I I know only what he's told me and and like Phil ladimir another ex of hers I only know what people have told me see what I'm saying so like I can't make an opinion or a fact based anything on that because I don't know them personally if I knew them personally and I had facts i' say well this this this and this and then make a decision well so facts are this he's running around with her he doesn't think much of their relationship yeah your they were together for almost three years I think her true I'm talking about Anthony oh okay I'm sorry anthon's with her and Anthony doesn't really think much of it so much so that while he's living with her at her place he slided over to see you I mean it was technically there they were both on the leas okay I mean I'm just saying like I said I'm sorry so while they were sharing an apartment yeah he was seeing you we were meeting up okay after like I said I think they were together four or five months okay beforehand and and admittedly he didn't think much of their relationship it was just a fun thing for him yeah which I guess I feel it was listen people are free to do what they want it ain't like anybody's married here convenience thing for both of them like I told you before so so he slides over there in meantime you're having your problems and you end up moving in there with him he ends up with with her car her dog Direction card looks like um and a bunch of people who are friends of his even and that's the other thing we talk about we don't know about these people that saw whatever they saw well they're his friends okay so his friends are saying yeah he burn her sh well so it's kind of like you really got to wonder like okay what I'm afraid might have happened here honestly well I'm connecting do what do you think I'm afraid happened here um from what you're saying and from what you're telling me you're afraid that Anthony did something to her or true I'm thinking Anthony may have cleared the way to get you back just by get rid of her and then he still got all her because because the timing on this is like right there now here's the thing with anybody that he hang around with when I do know when him and star got together um not many people were very fond of her no nobody has a pretty good opinion her um so basically everybody was upset when he kind of just up and left out of out of uh Clown's house gotcha you know what I mean I don't know how many of these people are actually his true friends or not you know what I mean well friend enough to help him carry the over and friend enough to let him use your fire pit I mean I just like I said I don't friend enough that you wouldn't be worried doing something like this in front of a bunch of people when it comes to that area that's just something you would have to discuss with him because that's a part of his life you don't know that's just one thing that I don't know anything about is a problem what I'm saying is I'm a little worried that maybe in haste to get you back I mean I I see where you're coming from you have your problems too no I mean I see where you're coming from when were when that but I also when that place in bardman didn't work out what was your plan well I mean I also had family I could stay with yeah if I needed to I could stay with my mom you can go over there now she's got a house full yeah she does have a houseful I could also stay with my brother Brian you I place worst case scenario you could have went through yeah I could have went I could have got a hotel you know however having let's call it what it is yeah she slept with him to piss you off yeah she ain't the only one that Did You Wrong in that situation right oh no I know we've had our talks about it I'm sure because it is what it is but from his point of view he can come in and rescue you and your kids and give you a place to stay even if it's temporary no I see where and he can even feed you for a little while yeah until her card runs out well I had my food card so I mean yeah but he's got some things he needs to make up for yeah I mean his her food card though wasn't a factor in any of it because to me anyway because he had his food stamps and I had mine right so the thing you got to understand about me is I've always been very independent I have my own money yeah you know I have my own food card I have my own phone well if anything I don't need any of if nothing else that you know if there is no upside to this whole story the fact that he ran off with the stripper left you in a position where you know you can take care of the detective take a moment to focus on the relationship between Leighton and noova this can serve two purposes the first is to Foster any feelings of resentment that Leighton may feel toward Nova for leaving her for another woman the more wrong she feels the less likely she will be to protect him the other reason is so the detective can find out whether Leighton is the type who would follow Nova blindly or if she is covering for him out of fear oh yeah that's what I'm saying I can take care of myself what he's out there doing yeah I can take care of myself you're only dependent on you you're not you're not dependent on him and his whims and what he's going to do I don't and I don't want you guys to take it the wrong way because you're men but I don't depend on any man that's not the way I was RA list SM listen after what You' been through I don't blame him yeah not at all I I don't depend on any man because you know I just don't I take care myself yeah I don't blame me at all you know I make $10 an hour at my job you know you work hard yeah I I work hard I work seven days a week you got kids I have kids take care at the end of the day who's responsible for kids me right no matter what yeah because you know Anthony has been around a long time and I appreciate everything he does for my kids but at the end of the day he's still not their biological father right and their biological father is a piece of and he lives out in Arizona somewh and doesn't do anything for them right so and I appreciate the stuff you guys things that Anthony's done for you he stepped out on you too so he did for a little bit Yeah but I feel like that was a mishap of judgment I call it and I feel that everybody somebody could be married 30 years yeah and she on their wife absolutely and it could be just something that maybe all the time needed to happen for them to get back to where they were you know what I mean I just feel like sometimes people need to separate for a little bit to see if they really should be together what good as a relationship if you ever tested it kind of thing I mean my mom and my dad did it you know they were together for forever you know and he left and he cheated he had two kids I have two sisters that I've never met but they got back together and they worked things out you know my dad died when I was little my mom got with my stepdad and she's been with him since I was like 16 so yeah it happens you know that's that's why I just don't like I said I don't know a whole lot of personal stuff about the relationship yeah I know what he's told me I know what other people have told me do he seem to you like he sorry for what he did as in like leaving me and then coming back type thing well as in like running around with her and having a good time while you're still grinding yourself out here and me and him have had a very long time you depended on him to help out with your kids I assume yeah while you working yeah I mean I did have to find babysitters you know so when he did what he did he didn't just leave you yeah he left he left the only person they've ever known as a father figure not a father but a father figure um I feel like it was a a poor um what's we're looking for it's like a poor lapse in judgment I feel like it was something that maybe he felt like he needed to do he was only 23 when we got together he was very young he's a guy you know they say guys don't really mature as fast as women do some of them never do some of them never do my kid's father for example um I don't needan to tell you you know what I'm talking about but I also feel that just from a given situation um I don't feel that I don't feel like it was anything too serious on either end for either one of them and I'm not sticking up for him and I'm not sticking up for her what I saw was this mutual agreement that they both had comfortability and they both had convenience and when her convenience ran out on the fact that he wasn't working he wasn't doing anything for her that's when she up and just found someone to take care of her because that's the type of person she SE to be and that was just what I saw okay you know because shrew had said that he sent her all kinds of money when he was in jail and she just up and blew all of it it was gone it just makes me feel like she's the type just if you don't have money you're no good so you don't that's a good way to explain it knowing all the things you know and all the things that we just talked about yeah there's and you know him and I don't yeah thinking about it evaluating everything I said and it's only been a few minutes since we talked any part of this story creeping you out that you and your kids might be in any kind of danger here or honestly you might have done something and you could be taxed I mean because these are the kind of things that people that are not in your relationship yeah you are in your relationship yeah and the problem with being in your relationship is you're like this yeah okay the the problem with people are outside of your relationship they don't know what's really going on inside and they see especially if they don't know they got kind of like the God view of what you're doing they're looking down on on your relationship they see the things that you can't because they're out of there so people that know you are a little worried no I got you okay I get you understand why yeah I get it when I say people who am I talking about probably my mom your mother is your mother and she'll always be your mother just like you're your kid's mother that woman worries about everything she absolutely does she about everything you know forensic fils is not good in these kind of situations I get because she's like oh my God I watch TV and this that the other and how do she not see and she's worried you know get it scared to death for you I get it I get it scared to death for you just it it's just I guess my personal opinion from the person that I've you know been with over the years and the person that I've known I've never seen him to be violent okay you know what I mean so for for you ask me you know like do you think I killed you know do you think he killed her it just throws me off that's all outside of all that do you have any fear for yourself or your kids no all no I mean and here's the thing this is one of those nature things M bear you know here's here's my thing I don't know what you guys have been told you know what I mean I don't know we've been told a lot of crap about a lot of people I well that's what I'm just saying I don't know what you've been told I don't know what's right I don't know what's wrong you know I can't make that determination because I don't know who said what however I do know that I just don't think he had anything to do with it I mean I just feel that she probably met some guy she probably out doing her own thing I mean I don't know how long she's gone without contacting people before you know what I mean I don't know oh this is the record yeah I I just don't really know you know I've never this is the this is the record you know what I mean it's been a while this is we're we're really worried now yeah now I mean I'm assuming it's been freaking months but I hey when you moved in uh did you did he get rid of the mattress before you moved in um any I'm trying to think I know he had I'm just trying to think we brought my kids beds there because we had my mattresses there um he had a mattress but I believe that was from his mom's apartment I'm not I can't remember but I know there was a bed there and I'm pretty sure we gave that mattress and my son had like a full size I think it was the mattress may have been disposed of if there was a chance that graves's Blood Stained it during her death we had that we had a couple mattresses that we gave to people because they needed them we had a friend that was pregnant she needed a bed so I think that might have went there but I don't remember all I just know that we had to make room in the bedroom for the uh kids beds cuz when I moved in I had two Funk beds and what we did is we put the big one together I had a big red one that we put together and then the kids started sitting up and B head on the top of it so we took it apart they were getting too tall my kids are taller than me I 14 that's a big kid and 13 yeah so we took the just the beds apart and we put the mattresses on the floor but I know we gave mattresses to different couple people so do you guys have a bed we sleep on the couch so you don't have a bed but he had a bed prior to you getting there I mean I know that they had a bed because we get these slept on it get all these stories about and then you know the mattress I my God he got rid of the mattress honestly the mattress that he had that they obviously you know shared it was a bed um I don't know if it was his or hers that's the thing I'm assuming in any event I know he had one at his M she she didn't take the mattress with her no with all her other stuff when you moved in you didn't say I'm I'm not sleeping on the mattress you had that girl yeah everything everything no everything everything else you know of her stuff wasn't there you know the mattress I'm assuming she just didn't take it because it was you know bulky you know what I mean I also wasn't sure if that was one that he had gotten while me and him were together I know he had a twin mattress at his mom's I didn't know if he had gotten another one so you wouldn't if there was a m you wouldn't have problem using it no with KN that you have been there no I mean I don't sleep on beds anyway I can't because in my back okay I have scoliosis in my back and it's and I have trouble with my legs and stuff like that I hurt my back a couple years ago real bad so I've I can't even tell you the last time I spped on a mattress I've slept on recliners floors I can't sleep on a bed though I can't I can't do it but I mean I just I know that we gave a bunch of actresses away which is to me isn't really a big deal I mean people need beds I got you we don't need them you know what I mean of course we're going to give them to people you remember who you g to I know his friend Ashley took a couple beds um but that girl was kind of like um she's little crazy during leighton's long explanation she has failed to give a solid answer as to where the mattress may be she was just she was pregnant she was dealing with an ex-boy or her boyfriend they were always having problems she needed a bed so I know we gave her some mattresses so that might have been where both of the mattresses went cuz I know I had a full-sized one too from Isaiah's bed and we got the twin mattresses did we give any twin mat we might have give twin mattresses away too because I think we had a couple extra but yeah you know you get all these stories I mean at one point John called and he told me I had to get over there right away because there was a dumpster there and she was rolled up in a carpet and I was like so I go over there and there's no dumpster there you know John's a little crazy like I jumped through some hoops here because John would call in the middle of the night talk I know he watched me walk into my house oh he did watch you walk into your house that's a little creepy I thought it was her which was another reason we had to come over there because he thought you were her it's a little creepy you don't look anything like her I don't I mean I have brown hair okay but but I don't look like her I'm not putting you next to her and saying I tell you apart I don't feel like I look anything I'm not the one that dated her yeah he is yeah so it's just let me let me explain where we getting this dumpster story from I don't know was there ever a dumpster there a long time ago there was a dumpster there but it wasn't like so there was a dumpster there I guess a long time ago but it wasn't for the apartment okay I don't think it was I just know that it was placed it have carpet in it I don't think it ever had carpet in it no oh okay I don't think so you got understand this guy calls and says oh my God there's carpet he's taking the carpet out of the apartment and and throwing it in the dumpster and I'm like there's no dumpster at all what are we talking about the living room has hardwood floors the bedroom has carpet that's been there okay okay that it needs clean because my kids have literally spoke juice everywhere yeah it it needs you know scrub because there's juice stains everywhere and food and stuff like that my kids are a little bit messy and then you know I mean but that's all the carpet that's in the house that's it yeah so I don't know where he's getting this story so there was a dumpster there a very long time ago but that literally whatever company owned that that literally got taken out probably like not even a month after I moved in yeah not even a month that thing I think some other company owned it and they were using it for work I think it was like one of those work dumpsters I don't even know I really don't I could ask there was a dumpster there I think like I don't know I'm think I'm thinking John's nuts because I go over there and there ain't no damn but there's there hasn't been a dumpster there for a very long time is what I'm saying oh no I mean when he called me it was like yeah there's there's a dumpster and there's carpet je she and I'm like no if you go to the back of the house you'll see garbage cans like the landlord drag out yeah there's garbage cans yeah the landlord drives anywhere on that property so I'm like what the hell are you talking about no dumpster cuz you got to watch too because you know this is one of those oldfashioned we used to call lovers triangle oh okay here's her and here's these two guys gotcha and when somebody comes up messing well who do you look at the boyfriends both of them yeah I don't a boyfriend so I got one boyfriend telling me there's a dumpster at the other boyfriend's house and there ain't but you're saying there was one I mean but not I don't know if it was ever really for that apartment though or for that property I just know that it was way back you know what I mean like put on there but I mean God only knows what it was for I really don't know I just saw it out there and then one day some company came and picked it up and they left with it so I'm guessing it was a work dumpster maybe I don't really know I never asked it didn't seem like a you know you just don't ask that question like oh what's that dumpster doing there it's like you don't ask those questions why do I care you know it's a dumpster yeah really but just another one of those weird things as as of now though like no there's no dumpster they hasn't been there one for like ever when he called it wasn't that long ago and as far as I know as far as I know Anthony's always use the garbage cans because the landlord drags him out he walks across the street dumps trash and then the garbage people come and pick it up that's why I said that dumpster if it was out there it wasn't used for regular like you know everyday stuff I think it was like a work dumpster was the landlord's I don't know working on apartments and stuff it might have been cuz they're they all that stuff upstairs all everything up there I know half of it empty yeah and the other half the guy upstairs lives on and they do tons of work up there all the time you didn't notice anything smelling funny in that building did you I can't smell light and desert an outright lie about not smelling anything but her evasion is noticeable and when I mean I have no sense of smell I have absolutely no sense of smell I pierced my nose up here when I was younger and I lost all sense of smell which is why I'm able to do this type of work I can't smell anything that's a benefit I can't my my client all the time she goes I'm sorry if it stinks I'm like honey I can't smell anything I don't it's okay you know that's a good thing yeah I I really can't I I wish I did my kids were little I would have to uh kind of do their di did you ever drive her car did I ever what Shannon's car did you ever drive her car I drove her car once I drove a car once um and that's because I figured I had a license Anthony didn't he doesn't need to get in any more trouble driving cars correct that's true so you know I would rather drove it than him because at least if we were pulled over for any reason it'd be better than at least have a license you know let me ask you one more thing go ahead if Shannon left MH do you think she would leave behind her directional card honestly I don't know that's one thing I can't would you leave yours somewhere that's your Lifeline I don't know how bad she actually needed it that's the problem and I don't know her personally so that's something I really can't answer for the simple fact is me personally I wouldn't leave mine behind only because you know I need to feed my kids yeah but in the other sense she didn't have any kids and she can find people to take care of her so I don't know really how well she actually absolutely needed needed the card I don't know who she left with or what her circumstances were you know I don't know if she had money saved up I don't really know any of that so for all I know she might not have needed it I don't know I mean that that's just something really like you know it's weird is she her card kept getting used at all the same places but she's not here using graves's card was one of the biggest mistakes noova could have made since security footage could be pulled to show that it was in his possession El I check Direction cards all these places have video cameras and stuff so film and stuff like that but I can look and see who else who else's Direction cards were used at the same time at the same place because like you said you would go shopping he would use his card you would use your card you never used her card right no I've never used it could very you've never seen Anthony use her card I've never seen him use it has he place has a system yeah and they go by your income and by single person right so any the date has a system too yeah any single person that gets food stamps gets 200 or under usually um anybody that has kids goes by how many kids you have in your income so if they get the same amount it's not really that weird because that's usually what it runs at Ware the same amount of dat a little weird I mean they probably went down to welfare together when they got together is what I'm thinking if they went down to apply welfare when they got that apartment then if they applied on the same day they would get their stamps on the same day so let me ask you guys R Brothers South Avenue I use really brothers um Walmart and B yeah but I haven't been there very I go there for little certain stuff like the syrup my son needs what's on sale and well not even what's on sale it's just's there that's cheaper than somewhere else I do that no it's I buy my bread I buy my meat well no it's not that he's on time in place where your card was used it wasn't you that used your card right it would have had to been Anthony yeah I wouldn't have used her card well how would that make you feel I mean I don't you're a guy I don't understand what strip club pictures there were pictures taken at the strip club he's got pictures of her FR taken when she was at the strip club yeah I mean I don't know if he maybe she didn't need it I don't know she could had somebody taking care of what stuff did she take when she left as far as I know she took all her clothes like her important possessions not her c not specific answer Leighton claims that she knew very little about Graves yet she can give detailed information about graves's schedules and other facts doesn't look like you're get the chance either I detective Fulmer cuz that was the number that was on the post through Facebook okay and Detective f or he kept leaving messages and nobody was calling back and I know that cuz I was right there when we did it okay so there I told them I said that's good well that's why when you had called you know we didn't even realize somebody else was on the case so I don't know who the detective Fulmer was but those missing reports that they were posting on Facebook yeah that's where we got that name and number from okay and that's who he was trying to call so I don't know if that somebody that was originally on the case there was no record of NOOA ever trying to contact the police which Leighton should have realized they would be able to track yeah so anyway you can see where we're at we got these three guys no I get it plus adding the fact that she's a stripper things happen to strippers yeah she probably did more than smoke weed I have pictures listen for all I know you know how many people this weekend overdose on heroin oh I know you know what happens when people over to us on heroin some people freak out and leave them she could be in a vacant house down the street my brother's a um he's fighting addiction right now you know what it is I know get a phone call he overdose my brother's house we had to bring him to the emergency room any day you can get a phone call yeah and that's the truth and it doesn't matter who you are you could be the president of United States doesn't matter it's an equal opportunity addiction and killer I know you know I know my dad died of it my dad when I was 10 my dad died from a hering overdose he was walking into water 10 years old that wasn't a normal thing no not at all not at all die from heroin back then you know what I mean where you that that wasn't hardly any well in connectic we lived in Connecticut I grew up in Connecticut so back then out there it was very like how it is out here now how accessible it is out here it was good thing about dumpsters when people get dumped and dumpsters we find them oh yeah obviously no because even when they go to the dump yeah because dumps keep records it's like a laborary yeah I mean dumpster from where when yeah okay so you got a pile this junk over here in this grid go down full feet and I imagine we'll be looking for carpet yeah I mean wouldn't you think that with a dumpster if somebody was in it they would call you right away well you would hope so I mean it's a person what the hell about two years ago there was a girl who got dumped in a dumpster of an Austin what the and they found her at a place called a transfer station because what happens is dumpsters get put into trucks yeah and then trucks take them to a place called a transfer station and they dum it on the floor and they spread it all out and then they scoop that up and put it in another truck and they take it to a landfill yeah so in this case this girl who was in a dumpster Got Loaded in a truck nobody noticed people to trashing her nobody noticed when they got to the transfer station and they dumped it up she Spilled Out and they were like oh oh God so oh yeah what the so sorry excuse my language but I'm just like so they got her but we've also had it happen where that happened and they came and they scooped it up put it in another truck that truck went out to a landfill they dumped it in landfill fact the last one of those they guy was chopped up we found the pieces dumpsters used to be a popular place to dispose of bodies but between better recordkeeping and the prevalence of security cameras it has become almost impossible to use them without being caught oh that was like but it's junkyard dumps are like libraries man you just got to know where the index card is okay there you get on and sure enough so that would be a weird thing if oh man I'll tell you what though I'm gonna tell you right now you're not that just oh my God that's gross I can see you though we that's why when he posted that post I just feel like you know it's like dude how are you going to sit there on tele she only smoked weed I don't she didn't you know what I always tell that to people you know when somebody's gone you can't Hur them anymore so saying they did drugs isn't you know yeah you're not you're not hurting them you can't hurt them anymore there's nothing you can say that'll I don't know yeah there there's a garbage company across the street is there yeah it used to be major telling oh I didn't even know that um that'd be my guess they go yeah have a drop there regular pickup schedule in fact they're they use uh they use the same company where we found that last girl yeah yeah landfill on oh okay each you know the trucks have a company where they they have a contract where they don't they got to pay for tongue for easy enough will like I said go down there she is yeah I I will say I know Anthony you know what I mean and we've always been very honest with each other um I just don't think I know what kind of person he is and I just don't think you had anything to do with it I really don't it's my job to be a suspicious well yeah of course you're DET my job to be nosy yeah of course you're detective I'm not naturally Noy but I'm learning yeah I mean and you guys are more than welcome to sit outside the house I mean go ahead you know if anything it makes you feel a little safer if it was me I wouldn't do that I'd put the pole cam up and be done with it because that's I used to work a lot of drugs and stuff oh yeah if we had to do something like that we'd put a camera on a pole and leave you see everything yeah I mean that works both ways too if you have a problem with uh John and that it'll be on it too so takes care of both problems because something was to happen something was to happen to Tony didn't expect us to figure that out too yeah I'm supposed to figure out what a guy who don't want to talk to me is you know what me I know I'll so there's nothing that would indicate that anybody's been in there there's no box for the free don't know that ever got there um I didn't find any of her stuff there I didn't find any other people stuff I got a long list of missing people and none of their stuff um so I'm going to assume that that's probably Shan a freezer and we're not dealing with some kind of multiple murder kind of situation that we know of which is good except that it's bad because if this is shanon we're back to our original problem now that the body has been discovered will Leighton crack and confess to the detectives or will she try to convince them that she has no idea what happened find out in the next half of the interrogation where evidence points to Leighton being deeply involved in graves's death
