stand by our side and we're best friends as we call them also known as dogs the following stories are just a few instances where if dogs were not around would have ended a lot differently and with that said let's get to the stories I was selling my old car as I had bought a new one I posted on a couple of selling sites and Facebook as well I arranged two visits that day and was home alone it was broad daylight so I assumed everything would be fine right the first person came in and made an offer just a little lower than what I was looking for so I said I would get back to him later so I had another viewing that same day the guy from Facebook pulled up and blocked out Range Rover and three other guys got out I opened the car explained why I was selling the car and let him check it out you know when you just get a bad feeling or a bad vibe from someone I wasn't sure why four people would need to come if you an eight year old car he asked me if you could take it for a test drive at this point I was not going to get in the car with him so I reply with yeah take it I'll just wait here with your friends pretty naive of me I know think he asked me to get in the car and said what if I just took it I said they wouldn't matter because that's what insurance is for as you can see I was not getting in this car with him the guy took the keys sat inside and took off I was left standing there with his friends the three other guy is surrounding me we were just mumbling to themselves not speaking a word to me I couldn't understand anything that were saying but it made me feel very unsure if the car would ever come back the car was not worth putting up a fight for or arguing over with these guys I was questioning my life choices when the guy pulls back up the guy got out and offered me the same amount the other guy earlier offered me the same guy that was buying his car supposedly for his daughter he wanted me to get in the car with him to collect the cash I said it was fine and so that his friends could take him if he needed to go somewhere mentioning that I have to go for another viewing and that I would call him later I didn't want to walk back into my house as I had now decided to sell my car to the other guy as this guy was just giving off a really bad vibe he then offered in all honesty more than the car is worth if I went with him right now I said no unlock the car I started walking towards the main street as I had seen my neighbor walking down the street with his dog I shouted at him and continued walking to their direction the guy mumbled something to his friends and they all drove off I text the other guy and told him that the car was his and he was welcome to come over anytime and get it the guy came filled the papers got into the car and off he went that same night I was sitting in my living room when I noticed a black Range Rover come back and parking right in front of my house as I lived in a dead-end street there wasn't much I could do about this situation I had nowhere to go I asked my husband to take a look at the car to which he agrees with me it's quite strange they are back at this time and parked right in front of our house again my phone rings I pick up and it's the same guy from earlier the same guy supposedly that is parked outside in the black Range Rover I politely say that the car is sold and is now gone I no longer have it the Range Rover drives away only to come back 30 minutes later and park in the exact same spot the call came in and the same thing happened about three or four more times this was quite strange but I let it go nothing happened for the next couple of days however this all changed the Friday about four days later I finished work early got back home and started getting the dog ready to go out for a walk the plan was to go to my dog's favorite park and have a nice run it was a beautiful day after all we get out of the house and as I'm walking towards the dead end which was actually the beginning of the woods the same black Range Rover pulls up and a guy jumps out he says hello my grip is now holding tight around the leash and my dog is still unsure of the situation she gives a bit of a grunt and the man asks if he could pet her I replied that I wouldn't recommend doing so as she's a car dog and she doesn't like to be touched I turn around and start walking again went out of nowhere the man grabs my arm my dog almost instinctively turns around and latches on to his arm the other guy who was inside the Range Rover is now out and he's yelling at us profusely being trained for these exact kind of situations my dog could have easily taken his arm off however it seems as if she let this man go with the mere warning she lets go of the man's arm and they both run into the car pulling away as fast as they can a few neighbors came out asking what had happened all extremely impressed with my dog's reaction I haven't seen that same black Range Rover ever since and I'm still wondering what the guy was doing back in my place knowing that the car was gone grabbing at my arm I'm glad I didn't stick around to find out a little backstory first this took place a couple of years ago when I was still dating my ex him and his dad and adopted a Rottweiler slash German Shepherd mix from a shelter his dog was really aggressive towards strangers and other animals it took a couple of months for him to warm up to me but eventually we bonded and I could occasionally be cuddled up on the couch with him and take a nap it got to a point where he would push people aside so all 88 pounds of him could be on the couch with me instead of with somebody else sitting next to me during this summer my ex and me were house-sitting for his dad who was on vacation with his girlfriend my ex would usually be home to walk the dog as he was way too strong for me to do so but this time he was at work and I had to walk the dog we had ordered a special harness beforehand hoping it would make him pull on his leash less my ex and his dad didn't live in the safest of the neighborhoods and it was getting dark out while I went to the woods to walk the dog I let the dog run around by himself but kept his harness on since he was very aggressive towards other people and other dogs I'd like to keep it on so I could call him as soon as I saw someone else and get him to his leash again for this reason I was also kind of on edge and looking around me all the time we weren't walking for too long when I saw a group of guys coming up in front of me they had their hoods on and kept their heads low while clearly whispering to each other and not their heads towards me I look behind me and saw another group of guys approaching me from that side too I quickly realized it was dark out I was a 16 year old girl walking by myself supposedly in the woods the dog was running off somewhere I couldn't see it in the dark and I had his leash in my pocket the guys haven't noticed I had him with me I quickly called him to my side and I heard his paws loudly coming towards me while he was growling at the guys he pushed himself against my leg and loudly started growling and barking and guys from both sides snarling all over them I told him to just keep walking or I would command the dog to attack him believe me when I tell you it wasn't a small dog and he growled nothing wrong there luckily the guys quickly walked into the other direction and I took the fastest route back to my house it took me a while to calm down and I couldn't be more grateful for the dog who had listened to me so well at that time and was extremely protective and by my side when I needed it the most my ex and I broke up about a year ago and I have no idea where my Savior is or if he's doing well nevertheless I will never forget that night [Music] this happened a few weeks ago and I'm still a bit shaken up by it my husband and I I'd like to take long drives in the desert to mandara dog we live outside Las Vegas and fortunate to live in a city with abundant beautiful areas to stargaze or use a telescope my husband just got one for his birthday in October so he was excited to try it out we drove our kia up to a popular overlook and he took out the telescope he showed me a bunch of constellations and we even managed to see a shooting star my dog sat in the car with the windows rolled down my dog is a straight up they weren't kidding when they named the female dogs that way she saved my ass before from a home invasion she's protective of both me and her dad which is of course my husband my husband had to go relieve himself and he asked me to wait in the car I got in the car and locked the door while browsing reddit I hear the gravel moving around my car thinking it's my husband I remarked that was fast suddenly my dog goes berserk she's snarling barking and making noises I've never even heard her mate before I turned around to see a guy standing right outside my window that was not my husband this guy was stupid and crazy enough to try and put his hand through No while my 63 pound dog is sitting in the back my dog latches to the guy's hand not letting go the guy begins screaming and yelling as loud as he can my husband is now sprinting back to the car panicking as I'm calling the cops my dog finally lets go of his arm and the guy Sprint's away my husband takes off after him but he's no match as this guy was quite fast the cops show up but of course as you might expect nothing ever came out of it I couldn't be more proud of my dog who probably saved my life that same night [Music]
