a judge called Alis Ortiz Nevis a monster before sentencing him last year to mandatory life in prison for felony murder Ortiz neeves at one point had to be forcibly removed from the court during sentencing the boy died from internal injury suffered in a gain's Township home in June of 2017 it happened while Ortiz Neves was babysitting this video contains the interrogation of a man who murdered his girlfriend's young son on June 13th 2017 paramedics receive the type of call they dread to hear a young child was unresponsive they quickly arrived at the home of Ellis Nelson Ortiz and his girlfriend Sonia Hernandez and found four-year-old Giovani Mayha still lying on the floor he was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead mayaha had multiple wounds that made doctors suspicious that this was not a natural death upon further examination it was discovered that there was internal damage from being struck in such a manner that could only have been deliberate Hernandez denied that it was possible that Ortiz had hurt Miha but when the other children were questioned each one admitted that Ortiz had harmed all of them on a regular basis Nelson there's some of the things we're going to ask you that are going to be repetitive some of those things those guys already asked you and we don't we don't know the answers to them yet so um I guess in the beginning what I want to do is I just want to say let's start with with what happened tell me in your words what happened well this morning I woke up well me up she went kissed me whatever went to work you know I'm laying on the C what time was that about probably like around almost 610 cuz she goes to work at 6:30 okay so she gives me a kiss and then she leaves for work and I fall right back asleep on the couch um I want to say I can't even tell you what time I woke up around um I don't know if it was what time is it right now it's noon right now noon okay so I want to say probably like an hour before the whole situation happened I woke up [Music] on the couch I wake up maybe it's easier if I back up a second because I don't know who all lives there and who so tell me who all lives at the house with you okay uh okay and they're visiting okay so you woke up on the couch and who was with you at about say 9:45 okay and yes and okay so you woke up on the couch and okay and then yeah back is it better than they normally share together well I split them up you know for some purposes you know there were seven children in the home three belonged to Hernandez three belonged to Ortiz and one was Ortiz's niece or whatever but a little bit but you know they got a situation going on with them so I always split them up okay so they we're in Split rooms and and his okay so you she woke up 6:10 she gave you a kiss 6:30 she leaves roughly n say 9:45 does that sound about right or would it be earlier man for I could tell you cuz I didn't even look at the time the time I woke up I know as soon as I woke up U cuz my playing in the living room and there would be low so woke up gave him a bowl of cereal you can go keep talking I'm just going to rec I I gave cereal cereal and then after I gave him some cereal I go in the back he was laying down in his room up and I uh after that you know had took the shower or whatever I used to makeer shower cuz sometimes so uh I make him take a shower like come shower whatever and when he get up like nothing I don't feel good man all right well I grab him and he feels kind of hot so I'm like all right come on so I turn the shower on for him he gets in the shower I go back up to the front I get some water a coup of water cuz he hadn't ate yet he just like he just roughly woke up when I just woke him up okay I gave him some water and some bacon so I go back there like when I go back there he's in the water or whatever and then like I don't know it just seemed like his body like he just looked like he was getting stiff like he couldn't move and then so I grabbed him out of the water the water was kind of cold you know what I'm saying cuz I was like he was kind of warm so I was trying to like wake them up or whatever so how was it was it the water only gotten cold or it was like you know like mid you know what I'm saying mid cold midot like warm you call lukew yeah yeah okay so I grabb him out the like right and like like he couldn't move his body he was just looking at me and he like yeah yeah like buddy are you all right are you all right he's like yeah so I try to give him some water I give him some water and like he's drinking it but at the same time like I don't know it's like he he drink it but it was like he got like it was getting stuck so I'm like give him them water keep G like but you hungry you hungry like yeah so I try to give him some bacon and I just keep trying to give him water water water and then like I feel like his his stomach is filling up how much water would you say give him I was I just kept trying to give him water water cuz I don't know you know I didn't know what was going on I didn't't know what to do so I'm thinking like I don't know he's dehydrated or something cuz I saw his body turning pale I mean like his face yeah like his whole body turn p on I'm trying to give water like all right and like Maya suffered from multiple severe injuries to his abdomen which were in various stages of healing indicating that he had been suffering long term like I fell to his stomach to like the point where like it was bloated and hard so go up throw up so I'm trying to push on his stomach so he could throw up but he ain't throw it up so I Tred to stick my finger in his mouth so he could throw up he bit me right here you know I'm like up throw up I like I didn't know what to do so like all of a sudden I go like I go uh to get on some clothes or whatever coming like my came in the back and I'm like no go in the front go in the front so like the the light shut off so now like he's where you at are you in the bathroom still no I'm no no by this time I went to my room I get a towel you know I'm trying to get him covered up and everything so now I'm in this room trying to get him some clothes is he saying anything to you at this point no he he's like he he'll stare at me he might say like one word but he's not really know not saying nothing so by this time I go in his room and I lay him down I lay him down on the table I put some pants some shorts on him and now he's not saying nothing so I'm come here so I'm trying to give him air and CPR you know what I'm saying so ambulance called the ambulance hurry up hurry up so now I'm trying to give him CPR and and blowing and know give him air and I'm doing this for a good like five minutes I'm like call the ambulance call the ambulance go call the ambulance so he goes takes off he comes back and comes back there I'm like he's not breathing he's not breathing C an ambulance CAU the ambulance I grabbed him I picked him up and that's when I went to the kitchen with him you know you know I they went I told him go outside you know and uh I me sure I'm in the kitchen I'm trying to give him CPR and blowing his mouth he can get air until you know what I'm saying somebody comes and then all of a sudden you know and that's when we're both in the kitchen trying to give them CPR and stuff and okay okay it's okay it's yesterday he threw up okay is he taking any medications right now not that I know him no I don't give him nothing I nothing all do you know if has he been to the doctor recently to be to getting any medications and he's been prescribed no I don't no you don't know or you don't think so no I don't I don't know I I don't know if you Tak as not but I don't give him no medicine so I don't know what she gives him I don't know I don't give him nothing though do you know when left than his other doctor no would it be safe to say that it's not been in the past few weeks no yes no it hasn't okay okay um has anything else happened that's been out of the ordinary that well yeah well me room one day and he comes back there and he tell me I don't see I don't just want to put all the blame on him first whatever I guess I don't know if it was her family I mean his um February 22nd when I had okay you got yes I and that's why you're no I finished everything and then just up like just the other night like she cuz I try to give a chance you know what I'm saying with their kids you know I love kids I got my own kids you know like most of the adults who knew Ortiz would agree with his assessment but children under his care told a different story everybody tell you I love kids I take care of kids whatever but the other night uh I always try to give him a chance I try to get you know so then the other night he tells me like uh he's in the living room and he brought us to the back room and Nelson uh he like uh Nelson I swear I just saw like I looked out the window and I saw like an explosion and then I turned and looked in the kitchen and I saw like a dead body I'm like you mean you know what I'm saying where is come on man let's go check and I go I'm like I mean where you seeing these things see nothing everything's okay I'm come to the back room with you know what I'm saying so we go back there whatever I put it light in this room I turn the light on I'm like man look this is late at night yeah this was late at night okay and I'm like I'm like you know put the light on for him or whatever I'm like man look go ahead I'm turn this light on for you just stay in your room and then he wakes up again nothing nothing I hear some girl talking out my window you know what I'm saying what's going on man ain't nobody there you you okay man chill but then it wasn't just that like he'll talk to himself but they all did it though so I was like going on man you know what I'm saying but I mean that's really it I don't want to blame like you said two weeks ago and she started getting out yes was there anything letter to that was I mean when I say St flu when I say like I'm sick I'm I'm down for the count I'm out I'm uh I'm in bed I can't get up I'm sick I don't feel good was see all that or you just and this what she when 22nd up until two weeks ago he was fine yeah he was good he was I mean he was normal yeah he was good and did the the sick thing that start at home start at school where did that start at he don't go to school okay did he go to daycare anywhere or anything like that no just you just just okay well if Niha had gone to a daycare the signs of problems at home may have been spotted early enough to have saved him was there any problems that he had with you know any type of injury he had following a fight altercation well they always fight you know what I'm saying they fight every day they always fight you know that's like a normal thing for them but was there anything like you walked in he was unconscious or he had a pretty big bump on his head or anything that would you know tell you that he had been in a pretty significant fight well yeah like I mean a couple of times you know he came up to me like oh Nelson against the wall or whatever and I tell like oh it's a bum okay we'll put some ice on it you okay you know what I'm saying but how long was that around this twe time before or after no this is probably like this probably happened about a week ago two when he had came up to me and told me that okay and same time like yeah push me against the wall and he had scraped his face right here okay he had a bump on his head where was that bump at I think it was like right on the left left side left so left back top kind of yeah kind of like right here okay but they they I mean they always fight like that like Rams his head against the wall and are ha you know them kids they're rough they're R um was there anything like that I mean this is one to two weeks ago but this happened further back the illness when it started was there anything around the illness time that you're like wow he's his head on the wall or H his head on the floor and then all of a sudden he won't eat or he's throwing up or anything like that anything like a concussion I don't know I couldn't tell you for I don't know if okay I mean if you bump your head I don't know if you got a concussion or not you know M I'm just asking if his behavior changed did he start acting strange no just one day like I want to say like probably like a couple days ago I'm sitting with him and you you know he's just like I don't know he's acting funny like he's not really like he's just acting like he just look like like I don't know like he's just real sick I'm like are you okay and I asked him get into anything you get into and show me what did what you get into cuz like he wasn't acting like so like I just bought him some ice cream and some P whatever get into anything tell me what you get into did you drink anything you know what I'm saying you gave some ice cream and some Pac was that before that or after that like he was looking sick or feeling sick did you give him that to make him feel better or was it before no no I I just went we just went to the store and got some ice cream and a pot you know what I'm saying so when I come back whatever he eats all of that you know what I'm saying everything so when I come and look at him or what you okay cuz he ain't just hearing like I don't know he look like he was just giving are you okay are you okay did you get into anything did you get into what did you get into what did you know I'm saying show me what you got into you know what I'm saying because you know there's chemicals and everything I'm trying to fix the uh the bathroom and all that back there so you know like did you get into anything you know I'm hoping you a't get into this glue that I I glue the pipes with you know what I'm saying M he's like no no no I'm like man you don't look like you know what I'm saying you don't look like yourself did you get into anything are you all right he like yeah I'm all right I'm all right and I mean I just left for that there I'm like all right and he was fine later that day that afternoon yeah well I mean he still just acting like he was sick you know what I'm saying I didn't I know me hos Behavior was most likely due to previous injuries rather than any type of illness what it was but he just I don't know he did he wasn't up playing or nothing like that he just his what where was his stuff kept at the glue yeah I just keep it right there like on the uh on the top of the sink in the hallway did you see any open containers like he had been in that glue or anything you know what I mean was it open on the floor spilled over like he was in it or no well you know I mean they could open it themselves it's not hard to open or whatever but I I don't know cuz he wouldn't tell me if he got into anything or nothing but it wasn't left open no no I didn't leave it open no no no no no no I'm saying if they were playing it they might open it and left it open he didn't leave it open if he got into it he would had to put it back yeah okay or there was some on the floor too you know I kept it was like two three right here and then it was two by the uh by the floor by the bathroom you know what I'm saying like when you walk into the bathroom did you find those move from where you had last left them yeah well I don't think they're there now I think I put them back up on the uh on the but you didn't find them in the middle of the floor like they playing with them they were where you last saw them okay um a sh from the uh glue that was out was there anything else that he may have gotten into any chemicals that were out anything around like I had a bowl of uh I don't that Mr stuff I had a bowl of that it was but it like there's a white B right now on the hallway that I had cuz I was cleaning the hallway but I left it there too but it was another it was like more like a clear B and I had left that out too like Mr Clean or whatever and I left that in the bathroom too as well okay and uh that had just to clean chemical or whatever got that in there and you think that I guess I'm trying to figure out what he may have gotten into at the time he started getting sick and this the two weeks ago was a sick thing you said only a couple days ago was when he had the uh food the soda pop and ice cream and stuff and he started getting like would you describe it as more sick well he I mean no he just looked like oh he looked like he was getting like kind of like pale like he just had got into something he was just you know about to pass out or something you think he got in I mean if you're going to guess you think he got into something well when I asked him he started looking around like okay yeah I'm going show you what I got into but he wouldn't you know what I'm saying like he wouldn't go directly to it and grab it so you think he did get into something I mean I I think so like he I always ask him and you got to tell the truth about it so when I ask him like did you get into something he goes like looking around like he's going to grab what he got into but then he don't go grab it you know what I'm saying so I mean what what would be your best guess as to what you think he get into I don't know there's like there's chemicals there I mean what chemicals would be out and accessible to him probably that like that Mr Clean uh what is it Mr Clean what I don't it's the I don't know like toilet ball cleaner um the I mean there's all different kinds of sprays and all kinds of stuff is this a concentrate is it I don't know is in one of them I couldn't tell you it's just one of them like clear bottles is green is the stuff you so you're supposed to mix water with it like a concentrate I don't know I just did I mix like I mix water with it and then I just like clean because it smell good so I clean the toilet the tub and everything else with it you know what I'm saying how much of it did you put the Bowl before you put the water in probably like half of it half of the half bottle proba like this much no not half of the bottle but you know pry cloes probably like you know a good a good amount of it quarter of it I mean and then there's pills you can get well Ortiz describes an environment that is hazardous for young children he was well aware that there were dangerous substances but no effort was made to secure them I might have one sitting on my dresser or whatever you know what I'm saying is that yours I'm pretty no it's not mine okay it's not mine is it prescribed to anybody you know or is it I might just take one or whatever you know what I'm saying but who the perect to all right aside from I mean obviously I can understand your relationship because he's obviously got some problems and no but I mean I don't I don't hold that against him you know what I'm saying I try to make the best like all they love me I'm the one there for you know what I'm saying like at first he a really like me you know he called the police or a little they deal with that or whatever whatever became of that uh nothing whatever next day said okay so uh but I mean I gotta ask did she fist with them no all right I mean it's only I got to ask right I didn't think so but other than and then I try to build a relationship with him cuz I don't hold it against he's a kid you know so I just all I do man I just try to I try to imply you know okay you don't do this you don't do that this is how you do it this is what you do you know that's it that's all I do man what is first punishments what's uh what's standard for stand in the wall stand in the wall get in your room don't come out your room okay uh spankings no I did HIT stand before in his leg but that me about it okay and how that how long ago was that probably like a couple days ago okay February 22nd yes yes yes so you 2 how long have you known her I met her uh probably like um November 23rd when I came home 2016 yeah okay all right um I'm just trying to get my head here about this Mr Clean um where what so there's a bucket that was kept where exactly in the hallway in the hallway is there still water in that bucket yes and then was it kept anywhere else uh under the S okay and that's the bucket or that's no no no the the the the concentrate where com where it comes in the bottle the bottles under the sink and the bucket was in h and this isn't spray bottle the kind this is the kind what color bucket is it the the bucket the stuff is in it's a white bucket okay how long has that bucket been there a couple days probably okay and when he I mean was going to when he felt sick when you had the pop on I think it was ice cream you said that you wasn't gotten and then he looked pale and sick and he was going to take you to when you ask him what he got into he was going to take you somewhere where where do you think he was going to take you to I don't know cuz he like he'll walk out here look in the bathroom and he like all right all right come on we walk to the kitchen he looked under the and then shut it like what you got into man I need to know you know what I'm saying so I know I can know what to do yeah and then he go back to the back room and he go back in his room you got into but he never go grab like exactly like go grab what he got into so how did that end I just left it alone you know I just left the did he keep still SI after that no I just like I just told him lay down you know what I'm saying all right go lay down or whatever how long when he laid down well first of all what time did that happen was that during the day or was was like yeah that was like during during the day like probably like around like 12 okay like 12 me all right did what did he do did he lay down you said he he didn't want to play he didn't feel good no yeah I just did I just told him to lay down he went to lay down in his bed you know and I went went in my room and I went to sleep too how long what time like around 2:50 3:00 okay and what at that point yeah yeah yeah okay were you up at that point no when she came home I got up you know what I'm saying and you know obvious he was up or whatever you know did he seem okay at that time I mean yeah but he was still like he was still like himself like he wasn't trying to play and you know do all of that he just sitting on the couch kind of like a lazy yeah did then like I I think I think I had told her about it yeah I think I had told her about it said you thought he may have got into something no I just told her like that he just looked as you know what I'm saying like and he wasn't acting like himself that was about it was worse two days ago when he did this I mean I I don't I don't know what's worse not everything is bad no but what I'm saying is every day after a meal like you feed them after and then when this all happened with him feeling he was much worse than what he normally was even when he was throwing up like pale like you know what I'm saying so when he would throw up before he would throw up and then he would be okay and go out about his day so after every he throw he throw up and like he just boom go sit down like he wouldn't play nothing so what happen no like no like some days he'll feel good you know what I'm saying some days like he'll play or whatever outside me and him we go walk to the store whatever he'll be fine and then you know some days he not so what made this different to be like hey what did you get into mean what I mean is what what made the two days ago when you thought he got into something what made you think man what' you get into versus because you had been sick you know for two weeks and not feeling good and sitting down so what made it so worse to make you think that he got into something I mean I did have drug you know some a drug there you know but I don't it wasn't like I don't think it was like exposable to where he came a Dr being as in you know a narcotic different what' you have there cocaine okay where was this at this was uh in my drawer all right how much was there probably like little 20 nothing big if Ortiz was actively using he shouldn't have been left alone with children under any circumstances something that Hernandez knew but chose to ignore powder or Ro no it's powder did you go check it was there any missing no like I had some I had some in the baggie and then I had some like on the uh on the uh like the uh a mirror thing y mhm was there any missing off the mirror I wouldn't been able to tell how much coke you was there it was only like a 20 like 22 something small did you still have Coke in the house no I don't where that where that go okay so aside from the C know you off and on that's what made me real curious about that day though I didn't want to say it about well I I appreciate you being honest I mean let's be real here we're talking about him I'm worried about him I answer cocaine I mean whatever that's neither here nor there is there anything else in the house that no I mean whether you want to say it or not we just want to make sure that no there's nothing no no drug no gun no nothing okay well all right and you don't think I mean based on what you saw you wouldn't know if he got into it but again playing with it you would think that he would like you know knock it over or whatever or he would wipe it off he wouldn't know what that is to be careful with it so he wouldn't take just a little bit he'd mess with the whole thing I mean right I mean I don't know them kids man keep busy kids are smart you know for real so okay so it's on a mirror on top of that yeah you know like I used to just cover it with my card or whatever I had it on the mirror that day is the the mirror and stuff still sitting there no where's the mirror at now just clean put away put away where in the house still yeah I don't remember where I put it it's house okay is it like a small circular one yeah yeah okay all right would it be like in the bathroom or do you normally keep that stff in your bedroom or no like I cleaned it it's just a you know a mirror so I think I had cleaned it and I forgot where I put it I don't know if I put it back in my room or I put it in that little white shink in the hallway where I put it but I cleaned it off and I put it somewhere I don't remember exactly where I put it all right tell me about this um cup so he went in the shower was it actually the shower that was running when this morning when he got up yeah when you got him up then he was feel good you wanted to wake him up so you took him and you put him in the shower then you said you went and got him some water yes what what kind of cup was that that you went and grabb it was a gr cup how big was that cup probably like this big okay where did you obtain get that cup from I went to the uh to the to the the cabinet and grab it you know how many ounce roughly that would be the idea no I don't know okay is it plastic glass plastic was it like see-through or was it like no no no it's uh like you can't see- through it it's solid but but it was a normal it wasn't like a Solo Cup not a disposable but a solid plastic blue cup so you go get that and you said you were porn you but you got bacon how much bacon did you get it was just like one one little strip okay and where was that at that was uh it was in a microwave but I had set it on the counter okay all right then eat the bacon that morning no it was like a day old you know what I'm saying but I just want to grab something for him real quick to eat or whatever said he Ain you know I'm saying when I saw I'm turning PE he a feel good so when I went to grab the water in the bacon you know I came back there or whatever and then uh I had grabbed them out the shower and I put them on my lap like this and I started on your lap at I like I put my knee on the put my foot on the toilet and I right here okay so you're on you're sitting on the toilet no no I'm standing up standing up stand up with my foot up and I got him right here and I'm just giving them the water right are you all right how many cups of water do you think you man I don't know man a lot where you getting the water from from from the shower now cuz I can't run with him to the front you know what I'm saying okay so I'm getting out the shower keep trying to give me you say a lot are you talking 10 cups 20 cups 30 cups I I don't know I'm just giving on water just constantly water I mean you know I'm thinking know maybe he's dehydrated or whatever you know so I just keep getting the water and giving it to him do when you're giving him the water he's just like he'll drink it and then and he you know what I'm saying kind of like like he a choke on it but then he'll be like all right did he throw any of it up yeah yeah yep while you're sitting there no no no not where I was sitting at when I went and uh laid him down like when I laid him down try to do CPR on him or whatever you know what I'm saying but that's how he threw some up but before then his stomach was like bloated bloated so was it loed before the water or no after after I'm putting the water in you know what I'm saying so during the autopsy no abnormal amount of water was detected while he like when it gets big up throw up you know what I'm saying like damn you know like your stomach is hard hard rock I'm like throw up throw up and I try to stick my finger in his mouth push on his stomach that's when he bid me you know so I'm trying to make him throw up now so at what point at what point does he stop talking to you because he's still talking to you right when you're sitting underneath yeah like but he's not having a conversation yeah no he's not having a conversation with me he stopped talking to me when I try to uh when I and I got him on on the floor in the room when I called his brother to uh come call the ambulance like he just like everything just stopped so when he got out of bed initially you woke him up did you carry him to the shower or he walked to the shower no no no he he was up he was just laying in bed though you know it's time to take a shower but I had laid him on the bed like when I had got him out the shower you know wet no he a have no wet pants on but it smelled like you're in no his his his draw his like it was orange draws he had on them like had a little pee on them but I don't know do you think it was from this morning though like when he no it was from this morning I know that was it wet though before he got in the shower where his pants he got out of bed where his pants were at he no his drawers were where his underwe yeah it was like it was just like a misty pee like he ain't pee a lot you know what I'm saying okay but the the shorts that he had on was went but I when I took the shorts off take him a bath or whatever you know what I'm saying like the draws had a little bit you can tell like they had a little bit of pee on me okay and when he got up out of bed did he walk to the bathroom on his own or did you carry him no I held his hand you know I held his hand or whatever to show he walk yes okay and did he look ill this morning before he got in the shower he didn't like he it was like a lazy walk you know I'm saying so that's why I'm like d man are you okay cuz I always ask him every day I ask all the kids are y all right you know what I'm saying how what's going on how's your day going you know what I'm saying and he like nothing I don't feel good like all right so you know I put him in the shower or whatever you know what I'm saying did he say anything hurt my head hurts my stomach hurts my back hurts did he say anything specific he had you see marks on of body anywh he didn't tell well you know he always got little bruises on him from and stuff like that so where did you see bruises probably like I saw like right here and then on his legs and then like like when his body had cleared out or whatever like uh like the blood wasn't circling through them I saw bruises where I was pushing that you know trying to get on the puke or what so you saw one right here no I think like this left side left side of his like Cher chest like by the collar bone yes and then you set on his legs yeah yeah you know how he how long those have been there have you SE have you seen those before this morning yeah well yeah yes yesterday or whatever saw the BR whatever fighting or whatever the case may be he secured he fa or whatever yeah sure yeah y I hear you I saying I mean they're always getting hurt yeah but the fighting they do is just you know just Ain like a normal fight you know so him like physically I mean hurt him yeah I mean you know what I'm saying how how regular does this happen almost every day you would saying he chok me he did something to me he touched me he did how many times probably like three four times it over what period of time over the last month two months three months well we just found out about this about two two two weeks ago yeah probably two three weeks so he told you three separate times over the last two weeks and what was the sleeping arrangements for everybody well because they were down at they were in separate rooms but on opposite ends of the hallway or something no no no like the like just my room from first one can you draw that just so I I have a photographic memory so it just helps to be able to see it on a piece on a picture just so I understand that um you just draw like the hallway and then where whose rooms are where that would be great it doesn't have to be anything fancy like this is our to your room right here yeah I can write it that's where's the living room at the living room is right here like in the middle right before the uh like right here yeah okay and you said and the rooms are closer than that kind of so same room wait okay yeah well I make them like go to school I usually make in the room yeah so I make uh me no no well at night and they're up you know I might be sleeping I might have been up all night or whatever so I might be sleeping and just up front in the living room okay so where is all this where are all these when you beating them m is this all happening yeah well I mean if I'm sleep I'm thinking in the living room cuz they're not back there by me or you know I'm saying I be hearing them okay where do you spend most of your time in your room yeah okay do you ever hear crying I mean when he comes you and says something that hurts sayat or crying well sometimes in the backro and we hear them cry or whatever you know what I'm saying then F or whatever I might go out there and check on them but then they stop yeah okay or he be like oh as soon as we go it's always like that it's always like that all right what do you think is your best guess as to what happened here with with him do you have any I mean you know I'm just coming in and my partner we're just coming in here kind of blind to try to figure this out and you know the family a lot better than I you what what do you think I don't I seriously I I don't know I don't know this just kind of just like out of nowhere and I'm I'm like I'm trying to helping but I'm like damn what the no I hear you and we if we aren't asking you tell us something you don't know we're right now just trying to you know put it together in our heads of exactly what's going on and get CAU up to speed so if you had a you know a guess or an idea of what
