At some point, belief systems stop feeling empowering and start feeling expensive. This is one of those stories and welcome to facts or frauds. This episode isn't about one hearing. It's about watching a belief system unfold [music] in real time and then watching it collapse. Because when court records start piling up, confidence usually runs out. [music] Sovereign Sydney wasn't alone. Quinton was there. Matthew was there. Same guru. [music] Cameron, you know him. Same script, same promises. They were told they were untouchable. They were told they [music] were right. They were told the courts would fold. They didn't. Next [snorts] case, state of Kansas versus Sydney Taylor Lesley 25CR 250. >> Good afternoon, Miss Lesley. >> Miss Lesley, you're charged by way of information on about May 21, 2025 in Butler County, Kansas with interference with law enforcement, a class A non-person misdemeanor. Count two, same date and location. No proof of insurance, a class B non-person misdemeanor. Same date and location. Count three, no driver's license in possession, an unclassified non-person misdemeanor. Though then count four, same date and location. Failure to register vehicle and unclassified non-person misdemeanor. And Miss Lesley, do you understand the charges pending against you? >> I comprehend the alleged charges against me. >> Thank you, Miss Lesley. Uh, Miss Lesley, you do have the right to counsel if you cannot afford an attorney. >> Excuse me. I was going to say that I comprehend the certain statutory allegations that have been made against me, but I cannot and do not admit to understanding or accepting the jurisdiction of this court over my person or the subject matter absent proof of corpusi and a verified complaintant from an indri party. to do so would constitute a waiver of fundamental rights which I explicitly refuse to wave pursuant to KSA subsection 22 uh 60-212 in the doctrine of special appearance recognized in Kansas jurist prudence. Okay. Uh you do have the right to counsel if you cannot afford an attorney. One would be appointed to represent you. And Miss Lesley, are you currently employed? >> Uh, for the record, your honor, uh, just to start from the beginning, uh, I, Sydney Taylor Lesley, appearing specially and not generally in propria, Suie Durus, as a living woman and not as a legal fiction or corporate entity. I reserve all rights without prejudice pursuant to KSA subsection 84-1-308 and UCCC1-308. Let the record reflect that my appearance today is under explicit protest and duress and solely for the purpose of challenging jurisdiction and preserving my unleable rights as secured by the Constitution for the United States of America and the Constitution of the State of Kansas. But and your honor, before these proceedings p uh advance further, I must respectfully challenge this court's jurisdiction in Toto and move for immediate dismissal of all charges. I hereby invoke the burden shifting doctrine established in state verse shepherd in 2009 and state verse seams in 2004 which places the affirmative burden upon the prosecution to establish by sworn non-harsay allegations within the four corners of a valid charging instrument that every element of the alleged offense and my commission thereof is has been properly established. The threshold matter of jurisdiction must be adjudicated prior to any other proceedings as articulated in exparte young uh in 1908 and recognized by this Kansas Supreme Court. Jurisdiction is a fundamental prerequisite to all jurisdictional jurisdictional proceedings. The legal max injury just nonura uh law does not arise from injustice applies to these proceedings in their entirety. Okay. And the court finds that Miss Lesie is appearing as a sovereign citizen before the court. And the court uh once again >> I object I object to any of that derogatory. Uh it's very biased. I move for immediate dismissal on those grounds and >> disorder rules the motion for dismissal of the case >> over rules dismissal of the case >> and >> the court will find that miss Lesie that the court does find it has jurisdiction to proceed and subsequently the court >> called me a sovereign citizen. I object. I you called me a sovereign citizen. That is prejudice and bias. >> No prejudice or bias is asserted as to yourself. >> However, the court as opposed to trying to write down docket notes to that effect is just recognizing what you are advising the court that the court has no jurisdiction over you. and based on your statement made to the court. Subsequently, the court does find you've posted a $3,000 cash bond. $3,000 cash bond has been made. Court does accept the same. And the court does schedule this matter next before Judge Webster on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2025, 9:00 a.m. before Judge Webster. Once again, Monday, August 11, 2025, 9:00 a.m. before Judge Webster. you do need to participate by Zoom process at that point. Subsequently, the court finds that uh Miss Lesley has not requested courtapp appointed counsel. Court does not appoint counsel at this point. The court does find that she has posted bond in the amount of $3,000 cash. $3,000 cash bond. And the court has scheduled her next appearance date before Judge Webster on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Any other matters to come before the court, Mr. Mr. Sweeney. >> No, your honor. >> And Miss Lesley. >> Uh, your honor, my jurisdictional challenge is predicated upon multiple independent grounds, each sufficient to warrant dismissal. [snorts] First, I challenge personal jurisdiction pursuant to Kansas rule of civil procedure. I appear specially non-generally and not have not consented to this court's jurisdiction. The court the record before this court is devoid of evidence establishing proper jurisdiction over my person as a living woman rather than a legal fiction or corporate entity as distinguished in hail versus school in 1906 in recognizing Kansas juristp prudence. Second, I challenge subject matter jurisdiction pursuant to Kansas rule of civil procedure 60-212 B1. No verified complaintant from any injured party has been filed as required by KSA subsection 22-2301 in Butler County Local Rule 3.1. The perpetrated charges arise from actions of agents of the state acting under a color of law, not from a legitimate controversy between adversarial adversarial adversarial parties withstanding as required by article 3 juristprudence of jur jurist credential uh principles adopted by Kansas courts and state xel Morrison versus Salivius. Third, I challenge uh territorial jurisdiction. And the alleged incident occurred after I had ceased operating my conveyance and was exercising my unalienable right to travel, placing it outside the territorial jurisdiction of traffic enforcement under KSA subsection 8-244, which by its plain language applies only to lences who have voluntarily entered the regulatory framework. Fourth, the prosecution cannot establish the corpus delicti of the alleged offenses as held by the Kansas Supreme Court in state versus during in 2015. The corpus dicti rule serves as a safeguard against convictions based on false confessions or statements. One cannot interfere with a peace officer absent of officers lawful execution of duties. where the initial detention was unlawful as it was here due to lack of probable cause. There can be no derivative crime or of interference. Fifth, the refusal to provide it out of identification is not a crime in Kansas absent specific statutory circumstances not present present here today. Um this is in support by Brown vers Texas in 1979. Um, the Supreme Court held that detaining a person solely to obtain identification uh violates the Fourth Amendment absent reasonable suspicion of criminal activity. The principle has been recognized and applied by Kansas courts. >> Um, in one moment please, while I gather another statement. >> Uh, what? >> Okay. And another thing is and this is may it please the court for the record I must now enter an oral objection and motion for disqualification of the presiding judicial officer pursuant to Kansas rule 2.11 of the code of jur uh judicial conduct as well as controlling principles under the due process clause of the 14th amendment during a prior proceeding specifically that's proceeding. Um specifically, um this court referred to me by the term sovereign citizen, a [snorts] a porative classification which carries with its government manufactured implications of extremism, revvious and legal irrelevance. This label unprovoked and unsupported by any factual predicate constitutes a stigmatizing judicial characterization that violates my right to a neutral and detached tribunal. The use of that term demonstrates either a prejudiced bias or a judicial pre predeposition toward delegate delegating the substance of my legal posture. As the Kansas Supreme Court was held, even the appearance of partially mandates recusal, and here the record reflects actual prejudice in open court. Wherefore, I respectfully move this honorable court to dismiss all charges with prejudice for lack of jurisdiction. Issue a finding. >> Not going TO HAPPEN. NO, NOT going to happen. >> That the prosecution has failed to meet its burden of establishing jurisdiction. Order the immediate return of all my property seized, including the 251 USD uh confiscated and converted to a reloadable Visa card without my consent. Order the expungement and permanent sealing of every associated record pursuant to KSA subsection 22-2410. Award compensation for the full measure of damages sustained, including costs for my automobile, window repair, bail costs, and compensation for unlawful detention and deprivation of liberty. grant such and other and further relief as this court deems just improper. The breaking of my automobile window without warrantable my currency constitutes violations of clearly established rights for which the law provides remedies pursuant to the maximum ubie juice ibby ridium. Uh where there is a right there is a remedy. I reserve all rights without prejudice, wave none, and maintain my special appearance for the sole purpose of challenging jurisdiction and preserving my alienable rights as secured by the Constitution for the United States of America in the Constitution of the State of Kansas. And thank you for hearing me. I do appreciate you, your honor, and thank you for your time. And once again, the matter is set before Judge Webster on Monday, August 11, 2025, 9:00 a.m. by Zoom. There being nothing further to come before the court, court is in recess. And have a good day, Miss Lesley. >> Thank you, your honor. Okay, we had just called 25 CR250, state of Kansas versus Sydney Taylor Lesley Jared for the state. Uh, Miss Lesie appears in person and per se. Miss Lesie, is that you? >> Yes, your honor. >> Where's your attorney? Are you going to have an attorney represent you? >> I am presenting myself. >> You know, you have the right to an attorney to hire any attorney of your choice. If you cannot afford to hire an attorney, you can apply, which I think you've already done, but you you did not request an attorney. Is that right? >> I did not request an attorney. That is correct. >> You want to proceed on your own behalf and you can do that. No one's going to stop you from do that. But is anyone making you give up your right to an attorney today by any threats or promises? >> No. >> Okay. Understand you can hire and if you can't afford you can apply for courtapp appointed and if you qualify one would be appointed. Do you understand that? >> I comprehend. Yes. >> You do not wish to have an attorney. >> I do not wish to have an attorney. >> All right. I will wave show the on the record that you've waved your right to an attorney and that you're going to proceed on your own behalf. So how do you plead then Miss Taylor to or Miss Lesley I guess. Miss I'm sorry. I'm just saying it wrong. Miss Lesie, how do you plead to count one interference with law enforcement officer? >> Uh, a plead would be inappropriate uh inappropriate at this time. I'm hoping to request a continuence. >> Why would a plea be inappropriate at this time? >> Um, I Okay, so your honor, for the record, I am Sydney Taylor Lesie and propri persona Subie Jurus. I am here by special appearance only and not making a general appearance. I reserve all of my rights, remedies, and objections, including but not limited to any objection to jurisdiction over my person. Um, I require a continuence in this matter. Um, I intend on filing a subpoena for body cam and cruiser footage. There are facts in dispute in dispute on this matter that I'm looking to clear up before the matter can continue further. >> All right. I will grant a continuous for you to obtain discovery. But if you don't know how to do the things you just rattled off, you better have an attorney do it for you. Do you understand? >> I understand. >> All right. Mr. Gear, do you wish to be heard before I pick the date for this? >> Your honor, um, this does appear to be the first setting since the first appearance hearing before Judge Hart back in June. If the court is prepared to set this matter over for discovery purposes, the state does not object. I'm not sure if the court wishes to set that matter for uh merely control at this time, but I'll defer to the court on that point if the court will find that the bond is being continued and this continuence is at the request of the defense for speedy draw purposes. All right, Miss Leslie, you're charged again with interference with law enforcement officers, a class A non-person misdemeanor, driving without insurance, a class B misdemeanor, and driving without a license in your possession, an unclassified misdemeanor, as well as failing to register your vehicle, another unclassified misdemeanor. The judge would have gone over these with you at first appearance. You want to go over them again as far as the penalties? Uh, no. Thank you. >> All right. And you indicated you want to exercise certain rights that you are entitled to and encouraged to, but as I said, an attorney could certainly help you carry out those rights. And you said you do not want that attorney. >> That is correct. >> Okay. Well, I'll have the record and the docket notes show that you have waved your right to counsel and that you know what you're doing. Now then, do you want to set up for trial, Miss Lesie, or do you want to get the records and look at them and then set it for trial? >> Uh, I would like to have a continuence um perhaps for discovery or an an evidentiary hearing if possible. Well, I can continue it for both those readings for reason for both those readings to give you time to get all your discovery the dash cam body cam things you were mentioning. >> Okay. >> And then we can also set it for trial. So, when's a good tri 1:30 trial date, Jim? >> Your next one will be September 24th. >> All right. You'll need to be back here with all your witnesses. September 24th, 2025 at 1:30 and that will be by Zoom again. >> Your honor, if I may just get a little more time due to the fact that I'm going to be submitting the subpoena and I'll need uh discovery uh and I need to just review it so that I can have um adequate time to present myself for my defense. >> Well, that's 30 days. You don't think that'll be enough? How much time are you asking for? >> Um I'm hoping for at least 60 days. Jen, do we have 60 days? >> We have October 22nd or October 29th at 1:30. >> Which of those do you prefer? >> I would prefer October 29th. >> October 29th. This is continued to October 29th at the defendant's request. Is that over your objection or not, Mr. Rick? I don't remember any objections. >> Your honor, if the court is prepared to set this matter for trial, um the state does not oppose that, but the state will be requesting a ruling as to whether or not the bond is being continued and if this continuence is at the request of the defense. >> Court does find this request at the defendants and the time will count against the defendant for speedy trial purposes. The matter is continued for bench trial to be heard and to be commence August 22nd, 2029 at 1:30 p.m. via Zoom. So, Miss Lesie, you can it's going to be here by Zoom, right? Be sure you have your evidence ready if you're going to screen share it. Whatever you're going to do, make sure you can do that. And if you need any help getting your discovery or presenting your evidence, you're always able to hire an attorney. And if you can't afford one, apply, but do it well in advance of the trial so that you can get the application completed, returned, and the court can appoint your attorney, and you and the attorney can have time to present your case. >> Okay. Yes. Uh, your honor, I did hear you say October 22nd. Was it the 29th that I had requested at 1:30? >> You did. So, I'll make it October 29th. Jen, you said either. >> You said either and she picked the 29th. Correct. >> That was correct, your honor. will be October 29th at 1:30. Now, Mr. Regger will be subpoening witnesses himself for the state. And if you find out or decide you don't want to go with a bench trial, let him know as soon as you can so he can cancel any of those witnesses that he may have coming in. >> Thank you, your honor. >> You're welcome. And don't forget, you can look at diversion and see if that's an office option. You can call the county attorney, but definitely look into that issue of an attorney. Okay. Thank you, your honor. >> You're welcome. Anything further from the state, Mr. Regger? >> Your honor, if the court is continuing the bond in this matter, I have nothing further at this time. >> I am continuing the bond. All existing conditions plus the new ones I've stated on the record today. >> Thank you, honor. >> You're welcome. And Miss Lesley is excused at this time. >> Thank you, your honor. >> You're welcome. >> Now, that's the confidence phase of a sovereign script. They still feel powerful with every line. Notice the language. noticed the certainty and noticed the refusal to bend until Quinton got arrested. >> Your honor, um while while I would hardly presume to lecture the court on appropriate order to conduct business, there does appear to be a number of attorneys including the county counselor on the Sydney Lesley matter. Stay has no objection taking that up versus the court so wishes. >> Okay. And we have attorney Peterson here. Yes. >> Yes, you are. >> Okay. We are on the record in BU 2025 CR250 state of Kansas versus Sydney Taylor Lesley. Please announce appearances. >> Sure. We get on behalf of the state. >> Sydney Lesley. >> Sydney Leslie appears on Zoom and with Council William Peterson also on Zoom. >> Very well. Your honor, if I may, Terry Julap, appearing Butler County Counselor on behalf of the Butler County Sheriff's Department. >> All right. And at this time, I show that we're on for bench trial. Is that what you're showing, uh, Mr. Reader? >> That is the state's understanding, your honor. >> And are you ready to present your evidence? >> The state is so prepared, your honor. The state understands there are in the number of witnesses present who have honored their subpoenas. >> Yes. Now, there was filed yesterday a motion for continuence. Does anyone wish to be heard on that motion? >> I do, your honor. >> Go [clears throat] ahead, Mr. Peterson. >> Uh, thank you, your honor. Um, Miss Leslie recently retained me to represent her and uh when I say recently, that was just uh over the weekend and I entered my appearance on uh Monday the 27th. Uh, as the court may see, uh, Miss Leslie filed several prosay motions trying to uh, we wade through this uh, case on her own and then has now sought the assistance of council. uh most of well we can discuss the other motions uh at later or um at another date but uh being recently uh retained in this matter um not having the opportunity to review full discovery um and further advise uh Miss Lesie on um options in this case I would ask to uh continue this to another docket date or or however your honor proposes these um settings for a a bench trial uh down the road And um I did speak to Mr. Regger about this yesterday. I don't believe he has an objection under those circumstances. >> Mr. Reggie, it looks like the motion to continue was filed yesterday. Do you have an objection to continuing it? As you noted, there are a number of states witnesses here. >> Your honor, on the limited issue of continuence, the state has no objection to resetting this matter. um as of and yeah within the last 24 hours I have had a opportunity to communicate briefly with council of defense regarding this matter. However, there is also a um a filing file on behalf of the county councelor. I'm not sure if Mr. Hillesc rather filed by the county council on behalf of the sheriff's office. I'm not sure if Mr. Hillescan wishes to be heard on that issue or not. >> Well, I see that Mr. Peterson has the motion to continue and then his client Give me just a moment here. Mr. Hustamp, do you want to be heard at this time? >> Your honor, I don't know if this is actually on for hearing today on my motion to quash the u subpoena due deacon that was filed. I don't even know if Mr. Peterson is aware of it. U but I did file the written objection to defendants subpoena data deacum and motion to quash on August 28th, 2025. I did not set an initial hearing on it. So I'm not real sure whether or not this is the hearing date. Uh I was just advised to be on the uh the Zoom today. >> All right. Well, we have the request for discovery and uh it Mr. Peterson, was that the one that you referenced filed with prosay by your client? >> Yes, your honor. And I I did see um the motion to quash and in some discussion with my client regarding that motion. uh if I had a little bit more time with her, there's a possibility that that that could be withdrawn because I believe it has uh to do just with discovery and and again I don't anticipate any issues in receiving that. Um and then if that's the case, I can uh we can withdraw that motion. I'm not prepared to do that right now, but yeah, I would certainly and I uh had I had a little bit more time to possibly done that before Mr. Hules camp to appear, but I believe we can possibly get in and resolve that. >> All right. So that is her pro same motion before you entered. >> Yes. >> And it is in response to that that the uh Mr. Jules camp your motion to quash was filed. Is that correct? >> Uh it was with respect to the funding being a deacum and the actual service of that on the sheriff's department. >> Okay. So if Mr. Peterson meets with his client and withdraws that that would take care of your concerns, Mr. Hules Camp. >> Yes. And in the interim, just so we don't have to produce any documents. >> Okay. Mr. Reier, your response to all of this, your position again? Again, your honor, on the limited issue of continuence, the state does not have an objection. I would also tell the court that it is the state's understanding that discovery has already been provided in this matter um prior to council for defense entering his appearance at least one week prior. >> All right. Well, I am going to continue this to let the council try to now that Mr. Peterson's on board, let him counsel his client on what's admissible and what isn't and to try to see if there's any resolution on this matter short of trial. If there's not, trial is not a problem, of course. But I don't see how we can have a trial till we resolve some of these motions that are pending. So I will continue this. The time will count against the defendant though. Any objection to that, Mr. Peterson? >> No, your honor. Um, no. >> And how much time do parties recommend that I set this over? How much how many weeks? >> Uh, my suggestion would be 30 days to 6 weeks if that's acceptable. >> Mr. Is there any objection to 30 days to 6 months to set this over to a six-month continuance more timely um continuence date? The state would not oppose such a date. >> All right. So destiny 30 days to 6 weeks. What would we have? In other words, four to 6 weeks. >> Um your honor, I have December 31st at 1:30. >> How about New Year's Eve? and they want to do this new. >> Uh actually one other question your honor. Um [clears throat] in this setting a trial setting is Zoom the only option for that or is that is some an inperson setting something we can request? >> Well that's typically the way we do it. Are you thinking that you need it in person or want it in person for some reason? >> Want would be the appropriate um verb there. Um Miss Leslie lives in Witchaw. I in Topeka we'd have to travel. Obviously for a trial setting we would need we were going to be in the same room. Um and and again just in taking testimony it's my strong preference that's done in person but obviously u I don't have anything that I can think of right now that necessitates um you know >> poss well and and I say that um obviously if a video um needs to be shown um those technical difficulties can sometimes get in the way but um it's just one of those I I prefer to have those you know I you know, I can do that in in in person. Um, and again, videos can be shown on Zoom, but again, it is a it is a preference, but again, when we're providing testimony from several different witnesses and no, there in in Butler County. >> All right. Do we have that in person at that time? Do we have a courtroom available for in person, you know? >> Um, if that I'm not sure. I can double check with Michelle, but I know that a lot of the in person is just with the court security. Well, I think we can probably work that out, especially on December 31st. It's probably going to be kind of scarce around the courthouse anyway. Um, Mr. Regier, do you have a position on whether it's live or Zoom? Well, it's going to be live whether it's on Zoom or in person. Do you have a preference to in person? No preference per se, your honor. Although, um, state's understanding is that um, the court has traditionally set these event trials by Zoom fashion um, for various for for various reasons. um as to whether or not um that applies in all cases pursuing to administrative order, I would need to research further before I can advise the court as to that. >> Well, I know with police officers or sheriff's deputies, many times they're on duty and they're able to appear by Zoom without as much disruption to their duties, especially if they're on patrol. Uh Mr. Hills, do you do you know if there's any preference from your deputies, the sheriff? >> No preference, your honor. Mhm. Well, um, let's see. December 31st at 1:30. I'm going to go ahead and grant that, provided I can get a courtroom. >> Yes. >> I'm sorry to interrupt, but according to our schedule, um, we have a we're in the search of a prom judge for that day. You will not be in court that day. We're getting a prom. Well, if you're getting a prom with the prom deck, the judges, chambers or court that >> I don't know if the prom will be able to make it in to an in-person hearing. So, if we're going to do inperson hearing, can we move it back to the next available January date? Let's just do a December 31st at 1:30 by Zoom because it sounds like we're not going to have a courtroom available and uh it could interfere with the deputy schedules and ability to be there based on my past experience. So it will be by Zoom December 31st at 1:30. Anything else we need to address? Your honor, does the court form for the state's information, does the court intend to address the outstanding motions in this matter at the next setting? >> I think it would make more sense. You want to go next time, Mr. Peterson, or today? >> I think next time would be appropriate. >> You want to take them up the day of trial? >> Yes, I I and I anticipate um providing further explanation or as I said, possibly withdrawal of some depending on the circumstances. So, >> all right. Okay. Well, then this will that will conclude the uh Sydney Taylor Lesley matter for today. It is continued at the defendant's request to December 31st at 1:30 by Zoom. >> And your honor, before the um officers departed, the state would thank them collectively for honoring their subpoenas. >> Absolutely. Thank you, gentlemen. And the defendant will be continued on the cash bond that she posted May 21st to 25 with the added conditions that she reappear by Zoom with council December 31st at 1:30. Sydney Taylor Lesley will be on the record now in the 13th judicial district, the district court of Greenwood County, Kansas. This matter comes on for bench trial in BU 2025 CR 250 state of Kansas versus Sydney Taylor Lesley. Please announce appearances. >> Okay. On behalf of the state Lesley appears by Zoom and through Council Wayne Peterson also by Zoom. >> Any announcements, Mr. Peterson? >> Uh yes, your honor. I filed a motion to continue this matter um for uh several reasons. uh one u preference to have a court trial in in person. Um there's a long explanation there. Uh the second being I believe we're possibly very close to resolution outside of a trial here. And uh the third Mr. said he was not opposed to that continuing continuing work on this case. um with the defense going on the record to withdraw their subpoena dikum for the uh uh Butler County Sheriff's Office and that's why Mr. Hules Camp is present, Butler County Counselor. Um and I'm prepared to withdraw that uh subpoena motion at this time and that way Mr. Hullscamp can uh choose not to participate any further in this matter. Very well. >> Any objection to continuing this, Mr. Reggie? >> Your honor, the state's understanding is that um pursuant to negotiations, um [clears throat] council for the defense would be withdrawing both the subpoena douls tikkum and the various prosay motions filed by the defendant. Uh prior to that upon successful withdrawal of those uh motions and the subpoena does take them the state is not opposed to resetting this matter to a control setting. >> Control setting. Okay with you Mr. Peterson. >> Yes, that is that is would be our request as well. >> Mr. Hlescamp. Uh if they're not pursuing the motion that involves you, do you have a any comments on that? No comment, your honor. >> All right. Thank you. And how much time, council, are we thinking about setting this over to? >> I 30 days. Um, or a little bit longer than that, either way. Whatever's I'm not sure what the court schedule is. >> Bull destiny, do you have something 30 to 45 days out? Any room somewhere? And apparently we can put it on a Monday control from what you said, folks. Or a Wednesday. That is the state's understanding of the the negotiated arrangement at this time, your honor. >> Okay, >> your honor, the control docket for Monday at 9:00 a.m. The next date would be March 16th or we have a bench trial that's Wednesday at 1:30. That's February 18th. >> Well, what about that? February 18th, 1:30. Your honor, with all due respect, the state's understanding of the negotiation is that the matter would be reset for control purposes um in exchange for the um other reasons stated on the record. >> So, you're thinking 9:00 on which day, Monday or Wednesday? >> I I would have a conflict on the on the February 18th date, unfortunately. So, March 16th, I guess, on the control docket. Okay, Destiny, that March 16th is 9:00 a.m. >> Yes, ma'am. >> What you all want to do? >> No objection to that date from the state, your honor. >> All right. I don't like setting it that far out, but we don't really have much choice. So, this is continued at the defendant's request. It's for speedy trial purposes to Monday 9:00 a.m. March 16th. Anything else, >> your honor? I believe there is the matter of the um subpoena and the motions. >> Go ahead. >> Um Oh, go ahead, >> your honor. I'll defer to council for the defense on that issue. Uh yes, as I said, we'd be formally withdrawing uh those u and again I'm I'm not sure the name of the other proay motion, but certainly the as I discussed the subpoena ducus tikum, I'll review those again and and in fact I'll I'll put that in the uh order to continue. I can prepare that. >> Good. Okay. Anything else from either party? >> Not from the state, your honor. >> Nothing from the defense. No, your honor. >> Okay. Thank you all. Very well. Then, uh, Mr. Peterson will journalize today's events, and we'll be in recess at this time. >> Sovereign Sydney, Quinton, and Matthew all decided to hire the same attorney, and for the better. The attorney didn't validate the belief system. He replaced it. Compliance [music] isn't surrender. It's recognition. It's the moment belief finally meets consequence. Right, Cameron? And this is why [music] these stories matter. Not because people are wrong, but because belief systems keep selling certainty and delivering consequences. Once you see this pattern, you start [music] recognizing it everywhere in property claims, in paper fraud, in [music] entitlement logic.
