I'm not willing to go to jail for it but I am willing to shoot back it's a growing Trend across the U.S different municipalities making it illegal to feed people in need without government permission why is everybody here armed uh well you know we started this trend of protesting and doing things that are morally right armed and we have a lot less trouble with the police they tend to open up and have conversations and and use dialogue and and things like that instead of just Brute Force whenever uh you're armed or are we doing something wrong here today uh well it has been illegal in Dallas to feed the Homeless and or people over over 75 people now that they've changed the law after a uh a quarter million dollar seven year lawsuit uh some Churches suing the city um after they won they changed a few of the rules but they still demand that you ask them for permission and tell them you're going to be feeding people well you know it's all about participating in Civil Disobedience well there's a reason that when we came out here five years ago and what we've repeated every year that we're all heavily armed is uh uh no I'm not willing to go to jail for it but I am willing to shoot back it's a growing Trend across the U.S different municipalities making it illegal to feed people in need without government permission so a charitable organization in Houston Texas called food not bombs has been feeding those in Need for over a decade but just this month the mayor of Houston ordered the police to start enforcing a law that's actually been on the books for over a decade I think it might be as old as 2012. and the ordinance says that one cannot feed more than five people at one time in the city and if you are going to feed more than five people at one time you have to get government government permission and there's a specific location there's only one location in the city of Houston where they say you're allowed to feed the Homeless since the ordinance has been enforced starting on February 28 2023 at least 16 citations that we know of have been given to people for feeding those in need without government permission one of those citations was caught live when YouTubers news now ninja and good citizen news went out with a stack of pizzas and water bottles to feed the hungry they were approached by Houston police officers who claimed that they have absolutely no control over themselves and their own actions and that they're only capable of doing what they've been programmed to do which is give citations to people for feeding the hungry [Music] thank you [Music] are we gonna get a citation for this today guys heck yeah I'm feeding people yes sir okay well I had a couple officers say that they've been going to mess with us because we're not a corporation but it's individuals that are giving out of the kindness of our heart exercising our freedom of religion have no issues if you want to come hungry or the homeless or whoever you want to cool okay anything we ask you to do is do it at 61 degrees and here's the reason why because there's porta potties and everything else I understand but there's a lot of homeless over here you want to hear the reason no I'd rather just go ahead and give you my ticket and get my get my I will gladly get my ID for this one thank you so much yep and I'm gonna go set this on the sidewalk and I'm gonna go throw those boxes away while you write me up okay guys this is yeah because you're following us you don't have to follow orders I'm not gonna argue my job okay it's your job you took it over to the Constitution at this point okay at this point this is what we have to do okay and I have to come get my ticket so I can fight it I want to see if a jury of my peers is going to find me guilty for feeding people yeah yeah I'm good all right come over here guys so they're watching we've got three four we got five who's gonna be numbers give them your ID you did it in front of them all right that's amazing you're being excited to uh government's making it illegal to feed the Homeless has become a growing Trend across the entire U.S so different organizations in different locations are trying different strategies to fight back one of my personal favorites though is in Dallas Texas at an event that's done once a year called feed the need by an organization called Don't comply Dallas made a similar ordinance to the one that Houston made saying that you can't feed a certain number of people at the same time without getting a permit so a handful of guys who are actually truly ready and willing to do anything necessary to defend their Liberty decided to start open carrying while feeding the homeless the Dallas Police have not showed up to disturb them or give them citations in over eight years [Music] I'm already here and they're here because they know every year we come and bring sleeping bags and Tents and a bunch of food and stuff so it's not where a lot of them are even afraid anymore they're like oh the gun guys are here they got a bunch of good stuff every year [Music] foreign why is everybody here armed uh well you know we started this trend of protesting and doing things uh that are morally right armed and we have a lot less trouble with the police uh they they tend to open up and have conversations and and use dialogue and and things like that instead of just Brute Force whenever uh you're armed or are we doing something wrong here today uh well it has been illegal in Dallas to feed the Homeless and or people over uh over 75 people now that they've changed the law after a uh a quarter million dollar seven year lawsuit uh some Churches suing the city um after they won they they changed a few of the rules but they still demand that you ask them for permission and tell them you're going to be feeding people whatever it is we have about 60 volunteers here are all now technically criminals because they're out here helping people without without permission slips well you know it's all about participating in Civil Disobedience I'm here because it's my understanding that I need to be here that um sad is as it is to say I understand that in this city uh certain uh institutions need to be discouraged from enforcing unjust laws inhumane laws so I'm here doing what I think is some good we are feeding the homeless and giving back to our community illegally helping the needy breaking the law yes we have something called uh uh an inalienable rights and they can't take those rights away from us so their laws are illegal breaking the law to help out the community we are feeding the homeless and giving them clothes we're volunteering our our free time and helping uh people not be so cold this year illegally though right yes we are illegal to feed the Homeless it doesn't mean it's wrong breaking the law doesn't mean it's wrong well there's a reason that when we came out here five years ago and what we've repeated every year that we're all heavily armed is uh uh no I'm not willing to go to jail for it but I am willing to shoot back [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] I'm not willing to go to jail for it but I am willing to shoot back [Music]
