I'm Sergeant Cindy with the Pinellas County Sheriff's office today Sheriff call Terry is holding a press conference to release the body cam footage of the Deputy involved shooting that occurred on March 12th Corporal Aiken and Sergeant Viano will be present to speak to the media and conduct a q a the first video is corporal Aiken's body cam footage and the second is Sergeant vianos Corporal Aiken and canine Taco were tracking a burglary suspect accompanied by sergeant biano after jumping a fence and trekking into a backyard the suspect Zion Bostic ambushed Corporal Aiken and shot him three times before turning and firing at Sergeant Viano multiple times canine Taco immediately apprehended Bostic biting him in his hip area which gave Sergeant Viano the opportunity to fire back at Bostic who was struck several times if it wasn't for the heroic actions of canine taco and Sergeant Viano Corporal Lake and maynot have made it out of this tragic incident in the lives [Music] out all right yep can you hold that one ready [Laughter] [Music] [Music] get your hands up get your hands up Circles made I stop all right down down foreign look at your ears get your hands out like a seal stay tuned for the entire press conference which will be posted on our website and social media Pages later today
