it's very simple is you tell people what the expectations are you ask them to meet the expectations and you tell them what you're going to do if they don't meet the expectations and then you do it and so it's real simple is is no secret you know like an example I guess is drunk driv I don't have any tolerance for drunks and anybody that's ever had anything to drink okay knows that you know no matter how much you've had to drink that you shouldn't be getting in that car and drive everybody has a enough awareness to know that's wrong so it's a decision so we you know years ago had a big problem and we had I don't know like three in two weeks where we had deputies that were uh driving drunk off duty and I said we're done so here's the deal is is that and everybody in the agency from that point forward and everybody that gets hired from that point forward is put on notice and said that if you drive drunk we're not discussing it there's no mitigation there's no anything if you drive drunk you're going to be fired
