to meet you good this is a small department it's a beautiful area out here though gosh i'm i mean i just came out to film the department but i might start looking at property i don't know yeah it looks like it it's kind of secluded though somewhat close to the city but out far enough okay yeah cool let us know if you haven't uh if you need anything uh we have areas over here that we have stuff storage in okay yeah i won't i won't yeah i'm going all the way back cool yeah yeah no problem man oh is this the humane society as well or no no it's just uh some of the animals that we have wandering around we put them in here we'll take care of them walk them feed them you know give them food water and stuff like that just strays okay so yeah it is kind of a humane society yeah just the streets because we don't get hit by cars yeah yeah so cool you guys charge the owners to pick them up for the care that you've given them while they're here it varies yeah it varies so i mean it makes sense it can't be free right yeah sometimes you know dogs do get out you know we try to be liberally as much as much as possible fair with everyone as well so yeah yeah it's a nice area man like the pond a lot of uh families will bring their kids out you know and feed the ducks and stuff like that you know especially the nice sunny days it's pretty nice out here yeah where you from um i'm actually from up in the dallas area okay and uh honestly i came out here because um i got a call coming in need to reject that um i actually came out to the area because i saw some of the stuff that was going on with leon valley almost park and uh so a bunch of us are gonna be making our way out here uh we honestly thought it was the entire san antonio area that was just out of control um you know with i i we just across the entire country we've never seen anything like leon valley like what's going on there i don't know if you're familiar with it but um some pretty pretty bad stuff and i've heard of it yeah so we just you know we thought we'd come out and check out the other departments and and my experience honestly has been wonderful with every other department really i have not had a bad experience anywhere yeah listen to hollywood park which a little bit up north you know we're the same pretty much you know okay i think no i don't think i have been up there yet yeah we're almost pretty much connected okay cool that's a long drive from dallas huh yeah you just cruise down over here yeah yeah i mean i travel all over the place wherever there's tyranny i i go and check it out kind of like you guys you know when you get a call and somebody says hey somebody's breaking into my house you know where there's crime you go and you know i do the same thing when i get a call and i and i hear hey there's crime out here there's bad guys out here i come and check it out so well you're not going to find that here man yeah a lot of these streets are really quiet they're really nice too um up down powderhorn and then blackhawk trail and all that man there's some nice houses out here a lot of people like horses and animals so people just sometimes just drive around to look at the animals and uh how nice it is out here yeah and the properties and yeah yeah this is this is my kind of place i'm not a city guy even where i'm at up in dallas i'm out in the country just outside of the city and yeah and sometimes here like on the weekends it's just so nice and quiet and peaceful even right now just this light drizzle green grass nice cool weather yeah i mean yeah and it's like this you know pretty much all the time so so we have a pond here um a lot of people bring out their kids and put up those uh swings for them and stuff like that you know ducks some people try to go fishing here but we mostly just have a lot of seaweed so yeah you know whatever's in there there's not a lot of food right yes is that a chicken coop over there yeah i think they put that uh for the ducks oh okay right on that crossing you know trying to get them to lay eggs and then take them huh yeah we usually have a good amount of them you know sometimes like a flock will come in six seven eight of them they'll hang around here for a couple of days and then take off so right on yeah this is great man i gotta say i you know when i started out out in this area i was a little nervous i was live streaming at first you know to make sure that if something bad happens everybody knows where i'm at and after the first couple of departments i'm like man these people are just normal human beings leon valley and almost park are just they're the oddballs out it's not the other way around i heard some things with them i'm not too familiar um with them in fact i don't even think i know any officers that work there so just so like this place i said hollywood park um my wife actually works over there um she's a police officer as well oh yeah these places are quiet man people here very usually pretty nice to us and we try to be professional courtesy a very crazy you know back and stuff like that so yeah cool right on man um i'm gonna go inside and check out the area if that's all right yeah there's a i won't get too creepy i'll just you know i just really want to get a quick video tour of the area and get out i'm not gonna yeah when you go inside there's only a small area you about that and uh i'm gonna talk to tx sheepdog and um uh open carry texas and find out i was under the impression that it's unlawful for them to tell you you can't carry inside of a police department oh umbrella and keep everything going quick question um there's signage inside of there inside of the building the 30.06 and 30.07 inside of the building that says that you can't carry firearms um first off those are supposed to be outside on the entrance just wanted just a heads up but also i wanted to ask you um i mean it's it's a little discomforting to me as a as a member of the general public that the police department doesn't want me to be armed to be able to protect myself i don't know how you feel about that or what your personal opinions on it or what should be armed in what way what's that doesn't want you to be armed well with the sign they're saying the 30.06 and 30.07 signs mean that you cannot carry firearms either concealed or open into the department now first off it would have to be properly posted for it to to be legitimate anyways which is not but my real concern is that by having those signs there it seems as if the police department is saying that that they don't want individuals to be armed inside of the police department right and that's a police officer yeah and that's that's very discomforting to me that that that uh i doubt that you're gonna find any uh police department oh yeah definitely that's gonna let an individual walk into their police department with a weapon oh yeah my police department does up in the dallas area it's not dallas but it's in the dallas area and most of them do what is it um i i honestly don't want to say i don't want you to know where i live um you can find out where i live anyways though if you go and look me up but um really i mean you guys can do what you're going to do that's fine here's what i'll tell you i'm not going to get delayed and involved in in what you're doing i understand it i get it um but uh and we'll take a look at the the signage and see where where the law says it can go and if it's required to go outside we'll go ahead and i'll make the recommendation that they moved it out okay but what makes you more equal than everybody else look i already know i'm going to catch a ton of flack from this video especially from those who claim to believe in the second amendment but consider this there are those within the second amendment community that constantly talk about court rulings that say that the police have zero duty to protect you so since they have zero lawful duty to protect you and they're trying to strip your right to protect yourself what now when and where did these guys acquire the ability to strip someone of their right to self-defense without due process those 30.630.7 signs actually pertain to people who are licensed handgun carriers in the state of texas that means they've already been background checked and taken all of the classes and courses necessary for the government to deem them safe to carry a firearm so these signs aren't talking about disarming felons or child molesters or people who have been convicted of violent crimes these signs are literally intended to disarm the most obedient upstanding law-abiding citizens in our society do people really not see the problem with that [Music] you
