I was out there one day I was by myself on the south end of the Dyan Causeway and I sto four guys fishing on a boat get their four of their IDs I run them and one of the guys has got a warrant in your situation like that you're tied up right alongside of them so they're hearing the radio traffic coming across the radio these guys were pretty Coy at what was going on so now it's four against one and I'm tied up to him so I remember thinking to myself let me see if I can make this one against one so the guy with the warant I said hey can you step on my boat for a second cuz what my plan was is have step on my boat I was going to untie from their boat and then it'd be one-on-one versus four against one so when I asked him to step on the boat he says uh why I said well I didn't see to talk to you he goes I'm not stepping on your boat well now I look up and because the deputies had been listening the causeways now got a couple cruisers on it so I thought for a second I looked at the guy the captain or the owner of the boat I said I might be real blunt with you here's the deal I said uh he's got a warrant he's going to step on my boat and if not I'm going to drop the throttles I'm going to drive your boat and this boat R up on that Rocky sh line right there and those deputies right there and I are going to arrest him so I said those are your choices he grabs the guy goes get on that boat he want his boat destroyed right you have to be out there and that you you have to be creative like that you have to think and then your backup sometimes you're by yourself and your backups on on a good day might be 30 minutes away
