foreign 's a fantastic detective he is meticulous to a t extremely thorough he does an excellent job of just performing critical analysis of really every situation I don't think I've ever worked with anyone who has had more people or who I've heard more people refer to them as the best cop they've ever worked with as a new detective in the unit there was a couple of folks in there that really kind of took me under their wing per se to mentor and help guide me detective sires was one of those people my first impression with John when he first came in here he had a lot of backroom from being a Narcotics very tenacious investigator very bold when you look at John's experience on the dive team narcotics surveillance Robbery Homicide he brings a lot to any investigation and there is the homicide investigation where there was a significant Nexus to the water and we had a reason to believe that there was some evidence in the water so because of his time on dive and also being a an exceptional homicide detective we were able to sort of task him with that and he just ran with it and it's one less thing that the rest of the team has to worry about and so he was able to sort of wear both of those hats simultaneously and we were able to recover some very key evidence in that investigation you know Pinellas County we lost we had our first in the line Duty death two years ago another one the end of last year there's a lot riding on those cases there's a lot of attention on those cases and you know he he him being the case agent he's at the Forefront of that he's the tip of the spear essentially in those investigations and making sure everything is done correctly and thoroughly when that happened I don't think there was really any question as to who the case agent was going to be it was something where there was really no room for for air no room for lack of detail no room for uh you know having to second guess anybody's decision making he's definitely somebody not looking for a recognition and he just likes to come to work and do his job and do what he's supposed to do but at the same time I'm glad to see he's getting some recognition for it there's two words that I can say about him integrity and tenacity he's got the tightest moral compass that I've ever met on any person ever he sees what he does is just doing his job John's just a great guy he really is [Music] foreign
