hey guys it's James Freeman hey I just wanted to do a quick little follow-up video on the video I did the other day about the attorney that I hired to handle the Fort Huachuca fake case for me attorney Tom Higgins after I did that video a whole bunch of folks went over and gave reviews on his Google page as well as sent information to me that I wasn't aware of before I want to talk about the Google reviews a lot of folks went over and gave reviews after seeing and hearing my video after all of you guys went and started leaving him reviews a lot of his colleagues and people that he's worked with came and started leaving positive five-star reviews which is good to see both sides of the coin in both both perspectives I think that that's only fair and so you've got a good amount of five-star reviews that recently came in but I want to point out what some of these things say and what type of people are giving him five-star reviews so that if you weren't looking for an attorney you would you'll be able to see and understand what kind of people he pleases Kathryn says tom is an Arizona native educated at James E Rogers blah blah blah blah been doing this for decades blah blah blah he has high release affected in the legal community and when he stands up for a client it is noticed I recommend him and will continue to do so okay well he's respected among the the legal community I don't I don't know what you think of the legal community but he's highly respected among the legal community and when he stands up for a client it is noticed based on I didn't just pick this guy just out of a hat for the heck of it when I did hear about him I went and looked at his he's he's taken cases to trial in federal court he's tried probably hundreds of cases in court that actually went to trial he's got a ton of experience he's got a ton of knowledge I didn't just pick him just for the hell of it I had no after meeting with him for the first time I realized that he was a piece of crap but I thought that if I paid him he would be my piece of crap and that he would work for me and that he would fight for me and that's not the case for me that's not what happened in my particular case let me show you a let me show you this comment though because this will this will really tell you this this is really eye-opening to me right here Michael says my wife Jerry line him linen I don't know has worked over 30 years with Tom and always found him to be highly reputable and knowledgeable he goes out of his way to serve his client and is a gem too and it and is a gem to work with I am a retired police detective and know the law enforcement community has great respect for Tom these bad reviews are a hoax and should not be taken seriously shame on the people who wrote them I am a retired police detective and know that the law enforcement community has great respect for Tom typically I would think that as a good criminal defense lawyer cops would not be a big fan of you if you just my opinion that's what I think I would never ever ever try to pick a criminal defense lawyer that the cops like on a vote calm it shows that this lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2018 someone was kind enough to forward this to me showing what happened it is ordered that Thomas E Higgins jr. bar number zero zero for three to four is reprimanded and placed on probation for his conduct in violation of the Arizona Rules of Professional Conduct as outlined in the consent documents effective immediately it is further ordered mr. Higgins shall be placed on probation for two years it is further ordered mr. Higgins shall pay restitution to rosalia and hey Susman well for four thousand dollars within 90 days from this order mr. Higgins shall contact the State Bar compliance monitor at blah blah blah to prove to provide proof of timely payment of restitution it is further ordered mr. Higgins shall complete the State Bar's continuing legal education course blah blah blah blah also shall complete a one-time law office management assistance program and then he had to pay the court $1,200 under the agreement mr. Higgins conditionally admitted he violated er's 1.3 diligence er 1.4 Communications communication er 1.5 unreasonable fees er 3.2 failure to expedite litigation and 8.4 conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice so I'm sure based on this I I mean I'm sure Tom Higgins is an extremely intelligent man I know he is I know he is I know he's an excellent lawyer and I will never ever dispute that my only issue is that I hired him and I believe that he worked against me one he stood up in front of the judge and lied to the judge telling the judge that I should be held in prison because pretrial services didn't want to work with me luckily the judge called pretrial services up and asked them and they said no that's not true at all our problem is that his attorney failed to inform him of what's going on and he needs to be informed as well as the number of other issues that came up over the next couple of months I don't think that tom is incompetent at all I think he's extremely competent which tells me that the things that he's done to me were not accidental due to his extreme competence that tells me that the things that he's done to me were intentional and malicious you guys decide what you think
