So, with the with the blood pattern analysis, like how much can that tell you? What can it tell you? >> It depends on the each individual scene cuz sometimes it can give you an indication of what type of weapon you might be looking for based on the blood that you're seeing. It can also refute or confirm statements of I was here, I was there. I've had one where it was it was a simple it came out as a shooting and the guy was claiming that he was shot in the roadway in a driveby and didn't know who shot him, but yet the bullet wound was to the top of his foot. So, that was one clue. And then the second clue, it turned out he was a convicted felon, not supposed to be in possession of a firearm. And so he was trying to make it sound like somebody shot him instead of himself because he didn't want to place that gun in his own hands. And it was also a stolen gun. And he bled. I mean, God bless him. He bled all throughout the residence. He walked all throughout bathroom. You know, you name it, he walked it. And then I see the defect in the floor. So now I got a possible defect in the tile floor. >> Um Oh, and lo and behold, I find the casing behind the door. And this is in the laundry room at the back of the house. And meanwhile, the detective had already come and gone to my scene. So the detective was at the hospital talking to him, believing the whole entire time. It's a Yeah. So then I was able to call the detective and go, "Okay, he's full of crap. Um he did not get shot by anybody. I have a bullet defect. I have a casing inside the residence." So either he shot himself or somebody in the residence shot him. >> And then they asked him where the gun was cuz deputies couldn't find the gun. And he told them he threw it out in the backyard. Now, mind you, the grass was up to the waist and there was like mattresses and trash. And literally, I was like, "He's lying again." And the deputies are like, "How do you know this?" And I'm like, "Okay, he had to have opened the back door, stepped out onto the back stoop, and thrown this gun. There is no blood anywhere past this point in the residence. He's lying. >> You guys want to search back there, by all means, go ahead, but that's not where the gun is." And then we were able to go back through, found it. Um, and his roommate wasn't cooperating because sometimes I'm like, you know, come on guy, you know where this is. >> And, um, he's like, "You might want to search this room." So, the gun was right there that entire time. So, I was able to say, "No, he did not get shooting a driveby. No, he did not throw the gun in the backyard." And, uh, yeah, it's somewhere in this house. So, you know, stupid stuff like that. cuz he's looking at doing 30 years for being in possession of a firearm.
