you're not part of I'm just curious about because I've heard of explorers before we are absolutely not police officers in any way or any form we write we're just filming the area yeah the department all the public areas so do you guys go out with them like once a week or once a month or every day okay yeah it seems pretty cool you get to carry a gun or sounds good no yeah yeah so we actually whenever we go on ride-alongs stuff we don't even have a booster on yeah pollsters they are just for practice whenever we're out doing our training so yeah we don't we don't know tasers nothing we have no right it's not even mace yeah that kind of sucks because even as a even as a average citizen you can carry a firearm and yeah well I don't know about Missouri laws as far as open carry concealed carry Texas okay good whenever you turn 21 you can buy okay but you can't buy it so you have to steal it I'm just kidding yeah yeah you had to buy a license to carry out here or is it just constitutional carry it is okay I know yeah yeah a constitutional right sir yeah yeah part of the training we go through scenarios and we learn about what rights we have as Hey how's it going man good yeah you you're a corporal how you doing that's awesome man you know we saw a whole bunch of younger folks coming in and so we thought they were explorers are you also an explorer okay corporal huh wait so you move up the ranks in Explorer we we give each other cute names - yeah this is patty-cakes yeah so I saw there's a whole bunch of people going in so is it kind of like is this one your meeting night sooner how many people in the group we do freelance stuff yeah yeah you know we weren't even looking to talk to anybody we were just filming the area but like I said we saw all the younger folks coming yeah you know we saw the younger folks coming in and we were just curious we had a buddy that was out here filming the area when the police were here a few weeks ago and so anyway wait cool we're gonna go everything else is closed up here huh yeah oh you can like yeah bad history stuff about the building sweet hey you guys seem you guys seem pretty cool don't let him brainwashing and turn you into all right what's that what's that who's that Joplin news first what does he do okay no no we're not from the area yeah so we're yeah we're traveling through we heard about the place actually because it was on another independent news journalists site where they they actually the police told him to leave yeah yeah and he was live-streaming so we just came back to see if they'd be nice to us class would bow on YouTube yeah but two or three weeks ago maybe it was about two or three weeks ago I was watching it live he was actually right here no no it's oh no no we really just wanted to film the area but like I said when we saw you guys in good it depends sometimes we do sometimes they don't when we do we don't edit it for content we edit it for time like for example I'm recording the whole time we'll be walking on the street for five or ten minutes I'm not gonna put that in your [Music] oh it doesn't matter it up it doesn't matter this is real life in and hold on just second when I mean if you're not so here we catch police and all kinds of uh we catch police in all kinds of public servants just in their natural setting and we catch a lot of them that are just acting irate towards the public and you guys aren't doing that you know yeah they do yeah yeah we see it more we see the reason we film police when they're irate is because they think they have authority but yeah we definitely see the same we definitely see the same type of you ever look at public freak-outs you really just don't see it like the police officers are very very kind nice yeah we've been how long we've been out here couple days it's been a lot better than Texas today they know like I said the only interactions that I've seen here in Missouri was this police department two weeks ago and that's why we came to just check it out again while we're in the area and yeah yeah I wouldn't get too uptight about things you know not being in your uniform and whatnot the public wants to see their public servants just acting like humans you know okay I understand I understand I get that and you guys are hey how you doing good you got a dummy gun there yeah I'm sorry that's okay guys yeah we use those sometimes for when there's like unlawful signage on public buildings telling you that you can't carry inside when you can carry inside they only in Texas I haven't done we haven't done anything like that here but yeah there's guys who will use those to go in and open carry inside of a building where there there's unlawful signage because that way when they try to cite them yeah you think you want to go into law enforcement yeah how come what makes you want to do you want to do wrong and you wake up it like 3:00 in the morning and okay were you in the military no no you're just kind of like military style where you think about militarizing police yeah I guess I don't mean for it to be so but I yeah I don't mean for it to be so I've let me think how I can [Music] okay so you think the government should have more than the public rather than the public having more than the government be careful if our government has too much power then we go stepping on people's rights yeah there's a fine line to where we can you're a smart man you're a smart young man yeah I mean there's always there's a need for government there's a need for law enforcement you you're thinking that you're thinking about that balance though between all right when when does it be what is it law enforcement when does it become tyranny it is oh cool sorry guys oh yeah yeah hey great
