Some people wonder why we drive Taho. Can you explain why that's the cruiser of choice for us? >> Um, Taho safety. That is the reason. That's that's it. When I was with Tarpon Springs, I can speak from what we did there. We explored going with Ford interceptors. >> Um, we explored going with electric and hybrid vehicles. The reason that we go through uh Taho here is purely safety. There was a unfortunate incident where there was a wrongway driver in Tampa. The deputy was driving a Ford interceptor and he did what he needed to do, stopped the vehicle, unfortunately lost his life. Few days later, there was a wrongway driver on the Skyway going towards a marathon, I think, or something crazy was going on. >> That was she she was driving a Tahoe, stopped that car, walked out with scratches. Taho are much more sturdy up front. They have a much larger engine and transmission to absorb that blow. And the way it works is you want that front portion, rear portion, side portion, whatever to not only take the hit, but how does it disperse the hit? You have to think of the wave of energy that comes around it. Well, the Tahoe has certain crush points and brake structures that it produces it down the sides rather than down the middle. So, you're never going to get a cave in the middle. You're going to get a cave on the sides. That's usually the the go-to for police cars just because of the crush points, the safety, the larger engine. There's more stuff to take the blow. It's why we also have a sturdier push bumper. So, there's things like that that are always going to keep our deputies and uh safety in mind.
