Central I'm losing side of this vehicle I'm coming up on okay Road he they've got to be doing 115 120 they're pulling away from me R Bar it's every cop's dream to be in a high-speed chase and a shootout but sometimes there just isn't one so you got to pretend there is he has a rifle large backpack here's a front seat passenger red shirt black mail shot fire shot fire in September of 2021 Deputy Taylor Smith with the patami sheriff's office called in over the radio reporting that he was in a high-speed chase with a red sedan he later calls in over the radio that a black male with a rifle jumps out of the vehicle and starts shooting at him but none of this ever happened there was never a red sedan there was never a black male with a rifle there was never anybody shot fire shot fire according to new court documents recently filed nothing the deputy claimed to see actually happened there was only Deputy Taylor Smith flying down the highway all by himself at over 100 mph and recklessly discharging his firearm at nothing but I don't blame him because let's face it for officer safety the best shootout to be in is a fake shootout well guys according to these new court documents the deputy made it all up the shooting the pursuit even a description of the suspect was made up and almost 3 years after the incident this Deputy is now charged L inside of this vehicle I'm coming up on okay Road patami County Sheriff's Office gave us Deputy Taylor Smith's body camera video from September 1st of 2021 at this point he's already told dispatch he's in a Pursuit on okay Road hey they've got to be doing 115 120 they're pulling away from me real far the deputy then gets out on foot describing what he says is an armed suspect that just got out of a red sedan near okay Road and Hope Road Deputy Smith claims he took off across a nearby field he has a rifle large backpack here's the front seat pack passenger red shirt black mail then the deputy starts firing after he thinks the suspect takes a shot at him with a long gun shot fire shot fire but according to new court documents recently filed nothing the deputy claimed to see actually happened Sheriff booth called in OSBI that same day and according to the documents quote upon review of Smith's body warn camera footage neither the red sedan nor the s ECT with the long gun was observed our cameras were rolling at the scene that day sheriff's deputies police officers and OHP Troopers all responded but after the OSBI investigation concluded the court documents say quote Smith's Patrol vehicle was recorded by two residential security cameras along the route of the pursuit but the footage reflected no red sedan traveling in front of Smith's vehicle within the time frame I hollered at him he took what was in his hands and he pulled it up and moved it and I saw shoulders move like this no other law enforcement Personnel reported seeing a suspect vehicle or any armed suspect during the whole incident the documents say officials at the scene found shell casings from Deputy Smith's pistol but found no evidence to support the presence of any suspect at that location however I'm told he did resign before the end of this investigation in Oklahoma City Jason Berger either he completely made it up or he was tripping balls on some good drugs the snaz berries taste like snaz berries
