You're pretty chill, bro. Your partner's kind of highrung. Yeah, homeboy here's just a little highrung. You guys all tease him, though, don't you? >> What's that? >> You guys all tease him, don't you? >> We'd like you guys to stay on the sidewalk. It's for your safety. >> Let Let's be honest. Your safety comes first, right? >> Your safety comes first. So, why don't you get away from the the road for me? Why don't you get up here on the sidewalk and get away from the road because I would hate to see you splattered all over the freeway by a semitr. Thank you. As long as you're on the sidewalk, that's all I need. >> One day, me and my buddy Roy were out looking for America's Next Top Talent in the streets of Tucson. This guy told us he could eat a whole spoonful of wasabi and then sing a whole song. What's it taste like so far? >> Not full. [Music] >> While most people among us have some sort of talent, there are a few who don't. Those people resort to modern-day piracy. While searching for talent, we found this talentless pirate extorting an innocent woman and her baby on the side of the road. >> Oh, yeah. I'm going to throw up. >> You going to throw up? >> I'm going to I'm going to try to hold it. >> How's it going, man? >> You all right? Everything okay? I thought you had your gun out. Thought it was an emergency. You might need some help. After Roy checks on the extortionist to see if he needs any help robbing, stealing, and murdering, the extortionist calls for help from other guys in the same costume as him. He just needed a friend to lean on. >> You called for backup, didn't you? >> What are you? >> I can't hear you, man. [Music] I just It's just a camera, man. >> I understand. >> I I don't want to I mean, I'm not going to tell you where to stand. >> I wouldn't do that to you. While the extortionist waits for a friend in a matching costume to show up, he nervously looks back and forth. Because these extortionists are known for their violent outbursts and shooting people, I take cover behind a small bush, which is known for stopping bullets. The entire time the extortionist waits for a friend in a matching costume, he rapidly turns his head back and forth. [Music] He's either really, really, really, really scared or just pretending to be really scared. When the guy in the matching costume arrives, they tell each other secrets and then continue back to his vehicle. We would find out later that the scared one asked the other one to keep his eyes on us while he extorted his victim. But the other one, just annoyed with the scared one, completely turned his back to us and told his partner, "Just hurry up and do your thing." Then a third one shows up and all three of them turned their backs to us. You >> should all three turn their backs to us for officer safety. >> They did. All three with backs to us. All about that officer safety. I am glad they turned their backs to us though because the first officer was just trying so hard to pretend that we're some sort of threat. And this just shows that they all know we're not. And people will say, "Oh, you guys have no lives because you follow cops around with a camera." But there was literally a show on the air for decades that was completely centered around people following the cops around with a camera. It was called Cops and it was one of the longest running TV shows on the air in America, running from 1989 to 2020. You know why? Because whether you love cops, hate cops, or anything in between, the content is fascinating. More than 90% of the content filmed by cops was complete garbage and never even used. Likewise, 90% of the stuff I film is complete garbage and never used. But if you follow the police around with a camera long enough, you are guaranteed to get some type of content that the general public is going to watch. Because Americans love drama, and where there's drama, there's cops. And where there's cops, there's drama. Don't hate the player. Hate the game. >> I can't hear you over there. I can't. >> Okay. So, >> I can't hear you. >> I'm giving you a direction to go that direction because of the fact you're saying you're looking at the computer. I can't have you looking at the computer. Okay. >> You just go downstairs. You're looking at my computer trying to >> So, turn it around the other way. >> So, turn it around the other way. Turn it around the other way and give your ticket. >> He goes to the other guys who tell him, "Go sit in your driver's seat and write your ticket." He throws his temper tantrum, but obeys. While these other two cops are completely annoyed with their partner, they're still just cops. So, they can't help but give unnecessary directives. >> Can't hear you. If you if you want to talk, you got to get a lot closer. I really can't hear you. >> We'd like you guys to stay on the sidewalk. It's for your safety. >> Oh. >> You get any closer to this this uh this frontage road. We have no telling of what'll happen. >> Oh gosh. Yeah. >> Liability that happens. That's why we have lights sirens. >> Hey, let me ask you, what comes first? My safety or yours? >> Your safety. >> Mine. What about officer safety? How come I have to step out >> as well as mine? >> How come how how come uh I had to step out of the vehicle for officer safety then when an officer tells me to? What if I don't feel safe? Let's be honest. Your safety comes first, right? >> Your safety comes first. >> So, why don't you get away from the the road for me? Why don't you get up here on the sidewalk and get away from the road because I would hate to see you splattered all over the freeway by a semitr. Okay. I don't want to see that happen to you. I want to see you be able to peacefully extort people all day and all night without being splattered all over the road. Once you get over here on the side, for your safety, get on the sidewalk. >> Thank you. >> So, hey, you two. Thank you. >> Just so we're on the same page. What is What do you mean by extort people? >> As long as you're on the sidewalk, that's all I need. >> You You said it. I just want to make sure I understand what you're saying. >> What? >> You said it. I just want to make sure I understand what you're saying. >> You You're just making money. I respect that, bro. I don't I don't hate the player. I hate the game. >> Not really. I don't make money off traffic tickets. Neither does the department. >> Neither does the court or anything like that. >> Oh, good. >> So, I don't I don't know where this >> Oh, they're free then? >> They're free then? >> Well, tickets have fines. >> My department has no profit on those fines. So, I don't I don't know what you mean by extort. That's it. Well, I appreciate you getting on the sidewalk for your safety. Can you sir, please stop? Thank you. Stop trying to push the limits with me. >> Because of So, where's TSIA at? >> Oh, he's still out there with us. You know that you guys? >> Did he die? >> He's been gone for like 5 years. >> Little backstory. This is a piece of [ __ ] that broke on my [ __ ] property and put a gun to my son's head. He's one of them. He just asked me how my ex is doing. What was the scenario? And and I don't mean to call you a piece of [ __ ] but that's truly what yield gun on your property, man. And you put a gun to a 14-year-old kid's head that didn't know what to do. >> Hey, man, if you could just watch out. There's traffic behind you, and you just If you can get up on the sidewalk for me for your safety, >> you're good right there. You just want to be disobedient. You just got You have problems with authority. You laugh. You think that's funny? >> So, you do have problems with authority, don't you? People say I would never talk or act like this if I didn't have the camera, and they're absolutely right. But I really only do it to show the absurdity because a grown man wouldn't tell another grown man to stay on the sidewalk for his safety unless he was wearing a badge. Most people don't realize that a lot of times what the police are doing isn't exercising legitimate authority. It's just being condescending. But somehow people seem to recognize instantly when I do it that it's just rude, disrespectful, condescending, and completely unnecessary. But it was at this point I realized I would never be taken seriously if I wasn't wearing gloves. This is it, man. The end of it. >> I'm telling you, man. Once these gloves come on. Why you walking away? Stop resisting. There it is. Hold on to your vest. >> Oh, they're towing her [ __ ] >> Yeah, they're stealing it. >> They're going to steal her ride, huh? >> Almost got rear ended right there. >> I didn't want to have to do this. >> I didn't want to have to do this. >> They forced my hand. Just want to let you know your pass is her right now. She doesn't want to be recorded and also your passing mom right now. >> I cannot hear you at all. >> Okay. I I'll walk over to you. >> Thank you. On the sidewalk for your safety. There you go. >> All right. Thank you. You're both harassing her right now. I'm just letting you know. So, I'm not saying you have to leave, but I'm just letting you know you're both being incredibly rude to her cuz she doesn't want that be reported. She doesn't want her child recording. >> You said harassment. That's a crime. Harassing her. What? 29 29? >> No. Um, no. I'm not I'm not giving you the exact law. I'm not saying I'm going to arrest you. >> Not explaining. You're not explaining. No, I'm just using plain English. I'm just letting you know you guys are being jerks to her. I don't care if you want to record me. You want to see my ugly face, that's cool. Want to look over this way. If But you know, if you're going to record her, that's on you. Okay. >> So, you're stealing her car and I'm harassing her. >> So, >> you're you're stealing her car and I'm harassing her. >> No, I'm not stealing the vehicle. She's not allowed to drive, right? Don't worry. >> She's not allowed to drive. Yeah. You're stealing her car, but but I'm harassing her. Huh? >> I was just telling you she would she's pretty >> I feel bad that her car is getting stolen. If I could help her right now, if if there was anybody other than Pam, >> I'd be upset if her vehicle is being stolen, too, but it's not. So, it's okay. >> I would jump in. >> Oh, she's okay with you taking it. >> So, no, but this that's just what it is. >> Oh, it's just what? But she's not okay with it. >> Did she tell you? >> That has nothing to do with me. >> Did she? Yeah. >> So, it's not allowed to do it right now. >> Did she tell you she wants you to take it? >> Did No, she you don't have her consent to take her vehicle. >> That doesn't matter at this point. >> It doesn't matter. There's a law. You know, I might need to glove up with him. Okay. You're pretty chill, bro. Your partner's kind of highrung. Yeah. Homeboy here's just a little highrung. You guys all tease him, though, don't you? >> What's that? >> You guys all tease him, don't you? >> I'm sure you guys tease each other, too. >> Oh, yeah. Some more than others. >> For good reasons, right? Yeah. You guys should uh you should haze him a little bit when you get back to the department today. Be like, "Bro, why you got to embarrass us all? calling for backup, acting like the camera guys are some kind of threat. >> Yeah, we all we all tease each other for you. >> It happens. >> Big dude seems pretty chill, too. >> The big dude. >> Yeah, it's just the just the little guy. Maybe don't maybe don't haze him. Maybe that's what it is is he does get picked on too much. He looks mad right now, though. He looks so mad right now. Hey man, I'm good. [Music] >> Hey, they're they're good. He'll he'll stay here alone and have no fear. You You can go. >> Go on. You're scared. Go. >> You said you're leaving. Just go. >> This guy is fine all by himself cuz he's a big boy. He's a big boy. You I don't know, man. >> I don't know. Go ahead and take off. You said you're good. >> Go ahead and get out of here, man. Go 108. >> Hey, brother. See you, man. >> Hey, go 108. >> All them resources over at Cameras, man. >> Hey, shut up. >> Hey, shut up. Hey, they already told me. They already told me they're going to beat your ass back at the department today. They told me already. >> They already told me they laugh at your ass every day at the department. He literally just told us he's going to take you back to the department, put some soap in a sock, and just beat you with it. What's that? I I can't even hear you. Yeah. Hey, your backup's leaving, bro. You might want to >> Yeah, you might want to get out of here before you're left alone. >> I'm not worried about that. >> Oh, you're probably more worried about having to face them at the department later on, aren't you? Yeah, because we will just record you. They probably will beat the out of you, won't they? >> Yeah. >> I can't hear you. >> I cannot hear you. >> You're going to have to come a little closer if you want me to hear you >> or speak up. You got a big boy voice. >> Come on. Show me that big boy voice. >> Come on, show me, boy. >> You all right? All right. All right, I'll leave you alone. I just think it was cowardly that you pretend. >> Yeah. Yeah. I just I just I think it was >> I'm gonna come closer so we can hear each other. I just think it was cowardly that you that you called for backup. What's that? >> I just think that's okay. It doesn't bother me. >> I mean, we were just recording and you called for backup. >> I never was upset about that to begin with. >> So that's all it was. >> Well, I mean, you acted like we were a danger, but then when your backup got here, all three of you turned your backs to us. >> I didn't turn my back. I watch I No, I I was doing my job. That's what I was doing. They were my backup. I didn't know what they were doing. You turned your back and you >> Yeah, cuz I needed them to watch you guys. >> They weren't watching us. They were watching you. >> Okay. Well, then >> that probably tells us what we need to know about you is that you need babysitting, not us. >> Look, I don't I don't want to give you a hard time, but next time next time you see us, bro, don't pretend it's don't pretend it's an issue. How long you been a pig? >> Freaking long enough. Eight years. >> Eight years at this department. >> Have they hated you the whole time, or has everyone hated you the whole time? I was alone until there were no friends left before someone offered me stuff. You know, I was straight edge and everyone offered them a cigarette before we learn. What's wrong? >> Uh, feel like I'm going to throw
