everybody it's James Freeman so I had been walking through Roswell New Mexico on this day I had already been to the police department they showed me their military equipment and answered some of my questions for me I'm now looking for City Hall and I seem to have gone the wrong direction and I stumble across this public school administration building this is not a school there are not children here this is a administration building only now in the course of government transparency let's not forget that the most powerful tool that a government has is to be able to train youth from a young age to think and act the way that they want now am I saying that the Roswell School District is involved in some deep conspiracy to control your children's minds and take over the world no of course not but if they're not doing anything wrong surely they won't mind the camera Roswell that's a school looks like a prison I mean as long as it's a public school I got no problem recording it everybody knows how I feel about public schools right this is the single most powerful tool far more powerful than any firearm any MRAP anything that the government has as a tool to use against the people there is absolutely nothing more powerful than this no bullets have to be fired nobody has to be physically injured and inside of this building they can make you believe that anything this true administrative OS this is the administrative and educational services complex so this isn't even really a school no this is where all the alright oh I guess I'm going here instead hey what is this not City Hall where am I at so these are these are all the administrative offices for what Roswell School District so are a lot of decisions made here then as far as what kids will and won't learn or guess where it's all done okay alright is there like a main office is it right in here then I can go into yes oh jeez so everybody's gone I'm late huh yeah all right oh no buddy I'm just I was actually looking for City Hall but I saw this place I'm just very curious two blocks on the right side is it right by that restaurant yes does it share the building enough restaurants right there in the corner okay and then you turn right there to your left and it'll be right there okay I'm going in circles I guess I can't wait I mean I I'm bummed though that it's closed here is that a public Lobby in there then yeah okay but they're not there but it's still open right cool cool this is Jerry hey Jerry hey how you doing man PR yeah all right yeah I actually stayed mind I stumbled across the wrong building and OH once I got here though I was like well let's see what it is what do you what do you film first well I was looking for City Hall oh but I accidentally found this place and I was like well this is interesting this may be this may be more interesting than City Hall as far as so all that a lot of the decisions are made here for what kids and Roswell are going to learn right what they will or won't learn what curriculum is gonna be I don't know yeah I guess you tell me well this is the administration offices okay so yeah but if you want to film something you probably you need to go to press you go through me and make sure that were you know make sure that we're all aboveboard you know once you go inside it's a different story out here you do whatever you want but well it's a she said it's a public laughing it is but what is it you're looking to film well I honestly like I said I was looking for City Hall I just stumbled across this place but any place that's government I'm interested so at this point I didn't come with anything specific nice questions and so it's kind of like you know I just randomly landed here so I mean if there's anything worth saying what's your up jet where's his stuff gonna end up it depends sometimes the news outlets buy stuff b-roll footage stuff like that and and sometimes I end up stumbling across a story that I had no idea what's happening I was really like I said I was headed to City Hall but any time I mean when I ran across this I was like it looked like a prison from over there what do you mean education is tricky you know the kids the ID you know all that kind of stuff but the kids the ID oh so the kids need privacy at the public schools good yeah cool can't film on the school's yeah you can't film in schools no I see videos coming out of schools all the time I see permission people no no no I I saw a video recently come out of a school where there was a fight where an officer a police officer actually ended up getting some girl on the phone with a cell right you're getting a lot of that but right those are students but schools hospitals government buildings of course not built government buildings Roman schools Wilson but public school is the government building right public school is that you can't go in and just film in a public school right right right right yeah except in the public water I'll be filming me right now well which is kind of sneaky because you need to be up front I mean I'm I'm a former journalist who now I've worked in public relations here but you always let people know you're filming clearly I do I mean it's just you always let them know if you're taping their conversation on telephone you always let them know if you're filming you always let them know if you're recording a voice and that's just ethical oh okay I would never just go in and start record I know you were still recording me I know that but well I mean I'm learning you're teaching me about ethics here well you're an educator and right now you're educating okay but so it's unethical to to go and record a government employee that's basically go out to your your your own kids and just you need to let them know that you're recording it's just a thing - do you guys have any security cameras out yes we do well why didn't you let me know before I enter the property that you're recording me well why are you shaking your head you're looking for you've got some double standards for a fight now I know I know I know you say I'm here to say I'm here to say if you if you want to film things here I to direct you I don't know who to take you to yeah because you've just stumbled up here and I came out and I'm on my way now to a to a filming session and I thought you and I thought well I'll just see what you're doing here to see find help you out but this filming thing bothers me does it so you're in public relations and you're bothered by cam I'm bothered by the person who does not not willing to be upfront that is recording what does it look like I'm holding in my hands you hold in a camera and a cell phone and it is operating as a secondary monitor I'm sure and its up almost in front of my face it's not down like it's not like a zipper fly on my crotch where you'd have to look at my business to I'm not here to fight you I'm here to say you're gonna record people you need to let them know that you're recording them and that's just property and so what do you think somebody is doing when they walk up and that is not my I'm here to tell you what my job is I'm here as the public relations officer I'm gonna say if you get a film here you're gonna go through me unfriendly yeah so you've got me on tape you got me yeah you can put y'all clustered go we got y'all flustered on tape well I haven't even decided if I would upload it or not because like I said when I arrived here I didn't necessarily have a story I just always record sometimes if you if you sometimes been here but if you want to go if you want something you go through the public relations okay well I'm okay the way you're the public we're so what do I need to do then what do you haven't told me what you want well I'd like I told you I I stumbled across this place so while I didn't have a story maybe you can just decide what what you want what do you want to tell the public about what this place is and why it's necessary okay I've got appointment well can come up with a story and your here's my story then the people pay a lot of money in taxes to support you right kind of like welfare essentially right so what I want to know is what are you doing for the money that's my story I'm asking you what are you doing for the money [Music] what's y'all's budget look like I don't I don't do budget that's not a mod okay so what are they how much - how much do you make to come out and be an as a public relations officer [Music] well that was unexpected oh man what a jacket guys I thought that it was over at this but later on the administrators go to local police and ask them to trespass me from the property I was no longer on the property when they came to trespassed me but they still demanded that I give ID even though I wasn't suspected of a crime one of the sergeants decided it would be a good idea to actually reach into my pocket pull out my wallet and dig through it to get what he wanted
