i'm sergeant cindy with the pinellas county sheriff's office last night deputies attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle in saint pete the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed however deputies on the ground did not pursue the vehicle the flight unit was already in the area and located the vehicle from the air the vehicle continued to drive recklessly and minutes later collided into a stop sign the driver jaquin wembley fled from the vehicle on foot the flight unit followed wembley as he ran through alleyways and backyards coming over quincy nobody's behind it still eastbound coming up to 42 left turn northbound on 42nd street and spinning out in a driveway there continuing northbound 42. coming up to 20th and south again northbound 42nd street over 20th half south coming up to 18th avenue south now and straight ahead northbound continuing over 18th avenue south coming up to 1717 on 42nd street right turn eastbound and uh signal forward into a car there 42nd avenue 17 south drivers bailing running into the backyard running eastbound on 17th avenue south let's get some units set up a perimeter there southbound in the alley through 42nd and 41. only saw one person out of the car [Applause] continuing southbound in the alley going to be coming up to [Music] [Applause] behind 1744 42nd street south continuing southbound coming up to 18th avenue south all right coming to 18th avenue south four one three one eighteenth avenue south cruiser right there stop stop stop stop on your right on your right all right he's at 18th avenue south and 42nd street 18th avenue south 42nd street [Applause] they're walking on me inside behind the house all right i got a unit at gunpoint 4119 18th avenue south four one one nine eighteenth avenue south [Applause] we want to come play four one nine eighteen let's get some people there looks like he's fighting happy i need to see it 51-4119 1873 uh 42nd avenue all right looks like we got a second unit with them now everybody else can slow it down [Applause] copy we're coming around the orbit looks like they're going 1015 now [Applause] wembley had a warrant for his arrest and deputies located cocaine and fentanyl in his vehicle thanks to our skilled eyes in the sky coordinating with the deputies on the ground another felon was taken off the streets
