are at the house uh well we currently have four four total four total there were two today um and as this one little girl and her little brother uh um I'm sorry uh okay do you know how old you are um just one okay A little over one three I think she's three three she'll be four later on this year okay and then the other two people we usually watch are um who is four train five in May okay and her little brother uh [ __ ] up who is um I think he's three three okay I think he's three now yeah no but no other children and a lot of children and all the children you guys watch okay all right so just be upfront with you um what children services forwarded us is a report and it's regarding the how did you say the last um it's regarding a uh and her sister uh yeah she used to she comes occasionally no she's in school okay so the first grader so she must be I think she just turned seven she just had birthday okay and um she comes on occasion okay uh when there's a day off from school okay how would you describe your relationship with her parents with their parents yeah very good okay with all the parents I haven't known them a while we've known them since they're coming as a baby okay so over seven years then I was yeah I was simply inherited the other two kids as it were and yes uh are really nice nice people you guys know that very well okay I mean not outside the business we've gone to birthday parties and they've had or the other people have there was another boy named that way he's the babysit for her his mom is the stay home mom but uh their family friends so anyway they've had birthday parties so but beyond that okay because how would you describe your uh day-to-day interaction with the children I mean is it your wife she's the one who's interacting with the children and you are you separate or do you help I know you said you helped out but I mean in what way um I help um well let me see um I I say one big thing is just getting lunches together and and eating lunch but um I interact with the kids watch them well because after lunch there's a routine where Carol takes each one upstairs to to nap and so that raised the other ones downstairs and I have to make sure that they are behaving themselves okay because they all tend to get rid of their own Bunches of course especially with the little one but he gets in the thing everything okay I watch them all to make sure it does take naps she doesn't go upstairs and take naps She lays down the couch sometimes we try to get her to lay down on the couch she doesn't want to go upstairs which is fine she figures she's older you know she's the oldest in the group now okay and so um She lays down and uh I'll watch the TV okay um what about your interactions I know you said that she's she doesn't go there very often just occasionally what's occasionally just a rough estimate okay well sometimes her mom can't pick her up after school so I pick her up after school and she comes to our house for about an hour until um sometimes if a school has a snow day she'll come and stay with us or or there was a teacher day and she stayed with this one okay so again she's okay we're just uh she's one of the kids and does go to uh preschool at all she goes to preschool do you take her to preschool and does your wife um I pick her up at preschool her mom takes her to a morning what time do you pick her up 50 miles to 11 30 every day uh no and it's a the routine is uh Mondays and Wednesdays her mom picks her up because it's and both go there's a trinity preschool and I'm free but then on Tuesdays and Thursdays I pick her up at 11 30. uh and bring her back for lunch okay and they didn't have the preschool those days okay um and your interaction with are always pretty good and decent kids good kids yes they do like I said they're a little wired it gets a little wired and active and have to our the does she have any daily activities that she likes to do like games she plays or anything like that oh we do a variety of things at the house sometimes so there's there's toys we have one whole room and a lot of toys and she likes to just just on her own together well those stuffed animals and she likes to play with there's there's a box of she calls little things that we keep up on a top shelf because the littlest would we don't want him getting into them but when she says I'm gonna play a little thing so they pull them down the table and she likes uh she sometimes likes to paint or color and Carol mostly we'll we'll print out pictures from the internet and she likes to do that she likes it as I said we have lots of things to play with big cardboard blocks for tickets or Legos or some big couch pillows from an old couch they'd love to you know make things like that that's just in the house and Outdoors of course they can okay we have playground uh swing and a Sandbox and Flies what about computer games yes they can play computer games too yeah is it a desktop or a laptop well we have a we have a desktop okay and we can do uh uh was it uh you know ABC mouse or Nick Jr or those or some websites with there's some games are they allowed to play on their own and well we set them up okay are we watch them what do you mean by that you set them up well we have to we have to look up the account you know we have to actually right pull up the accounts the account and everything like that and they'll sit down there um and um can do it mostly we you know we have to be around sometimes she has trouble with the game so we have to play with her um it isn't quite up to a yeah I mean she's learning on the computer games but and um so yeah they like they're complete Okay computer too yeah so do you have any idea what the what any type of what this is about what any type of allegation there would be that we would be here needing to talk to you I'd rather you tell me do you have an idea though I don't know okay I'm I don't know how come I'm guessing it's complaint from the repeals perhaps okay no what what what the nature of the complaint would be yeah something happened that you remember or anything like that you know um I um my brother you told me but the point the point was okay the complaint is sexual in nature okay you I can tell that did you expect me to say that because it kind of seemed like it um this is time to get it all out there you know just tell us what what happened so we we can follow up accordingly okay okay can you tell us what happened um well I know just uh most recently Friday when Jen came up to him to pick up uh she was naked from the waist down which she ripped she had just torn off her took taken off her pants which so again kids that age sometimes too and so and then she started running around naked and uh and um so we found her underwear over here in her pants over there and her mom put him back on her so she she saw her running around naked um uh before that we had been sitting on the couch and she had been climbing all over me uh just I was like well a game that she uh climbed up behind me and then went over just just rolled over you know like gymnastics kind of a thing and onto the floor and then rolled over and when I was doing that again just uh it was also on Friday before that but we did that for a bunch of times I was just sort of sitting there going oh we stopped and then suddenly she pulled her pants down and did that so yeah come on put your pants back on so put the pants back on this unit and then and then suddenly you know she took them off together so we stopped playing that game um and I got up and walked around but I know it was not that time that her mom came okay uh I don't think her mom saw us playing that game I hope but uh that might have uh something that she had a song person is really a touchy feeling cuddly kind of a kid and she always wants to climb on me and and she wants me to [ __ ] or pick her up you know and carry around so I didn't do that you know I don't uh and so torture yeah play on me as we're sitting on the couch and on my lap and whatever or sometimes I try to get it or quiet down I just told her on my lap and cuddled because just this would she be closed and she's closed yeah and so yeah it's always close but uh just cuddling we do so we do color clothes and sitting on the couch I don't know okay um now when you guys when she was climbing all over you was she closed fully clothed uh most of the times until she took but she pulled her pants down and went over me and I realized myself you know she was it was they were not here um and so that pulled back up and then she did it again and then she did it again and um when she was running around after that she pulled her pants all the way down took them off and then just started I said yeah okay no no so then she started running around the house I went away for a few minutes I got up the computer and I went over to watched her I know she wasn't about pants on where was your wife at doing all this um I think she was doing something in the kitchen maybe with with it um but anyway so yeah that was is there anything else that might have happened because something like that we would have we really wouldn't be investigating you know things things like that happen four-year-olds are going to be four-year-olds is there anything else that happened during that interaction that we need to talk about now yes there is you need to tell us Now That We're Not Gonna if we find out during the course of our investigation that's going to be much worse um this is your opportunity to get all out on the table let us know what happened so we can do whatever it is that we need to do to move on okay is your opportunity to be to be honest and tell us what happened okay did you climb on top and you put your pants off did you touch her in a way that wouldn't have been appropriate for a caretaker to touch um yes um what happened well smack the bottom um well I think I and yes I mean history on them so what do you mean what do you mean by that he kissed her but just yesterday sure it wasn't something else and I'm pretty sure it wasn't something else she kissed and I yes what'd you do I did KISS down here okay so you kissed him vagina yeah that was just was it quick was it just a kiss or was it I'm just trying to get the picture on exactly what happened okay this is your opportunity to tell us what happened did did you use any tongue or anything like that sir [Music] and just so you're aware to put you out of comfort you know we investigate these often I know it can be embarrassing it can be tough to talk about but just know that this isn't going to leave for way worse there's a lot of things that we've heard that you know don't come close to this okay so you know that's am I feel embarrassing to open up and talk about it but just know that there's unfortunately there's nothing really that you can tell us that's going to be shocking so um just embarrassing to I say I I yeah okay and how long did this encounter last oh just seconds yes five ten uh I mean just well you know the the kissing participants and just like that quickly she didn't have any other word um and then on the kiss on the bottom was just like that look not tongue just I mean just because what did you play uh a giggle laugh okay and uh she you know um and then that was you know let's see kept her pants off and started running around I got up and and said okay but I'm you know can't be this way at any point in time did you collect your penis at all no no okay what was the purpose of you kissing her vagina I don't know I don't know has this happened before no I'm pretty sure just yes I mean so this is on Friday this was on Friday she just I mean now um just I I kiss her I mean I it's all the kids actually well that's what that's what we're crying around the face right well that's what that's what we're trying to you know see exactly what happened if this has ever happened before if it's a one-time was sticking up there and yes we were getting ridiculated so I kissed it yes okay um that was the only time you've already told us you know I just happened Friday if there's other instances let us know so we can deal with them now have this has this ever happened prior to with but no um okay I gotta say okay that's a prairie if we do we do cuddle sometimes okay so what happens well usually my hand just up around in here but yes okay maybe it's gone uh down here and see okay and so was this on Friday or was this no this is weeks than before like how far before I know it's early age I mean March February well she likes to be cuddled that way I mean I get the you know too like yeah that way and with animal with my hand down there and see those this cuddle time seems to quiet her at that time so so when you guys kind of just winds up okay down there now at any point in time does your fingers enter her vagina enter now are you sure she'll decide around the exterior of her pants on the exterior no well would they be inside her underwear that that's part of what the complaint is so that's what we need to address so if is your hand on the inside of her underwear sir it gets so it's uncomfortable or not but it is and but it's easier to get out there and so we can deal with it okay um I mean kids are going to want to cuddle especially when you're around kids all the time I have a little little girl and she wants to cuddle and sometimes certain areas are you know it's just odd you know it's awkward so I understand what you're saying um now does your hand ever go inside of her underwear when you guys cuddle [Music] when that has happened has your finger ever entered inside of your vagina um I don't know well you wouldn't know you would know whether or not your hand was down there if it entered inside when you're handed when you've got bigger hands whereas for an adult so that area for a four-year-old is going to be small so during that does your finger enter her vagina at all thank you [Music] well like I said you're cuddling uh yeah a little bit of your your answer exactly just like how far you say like halfway finger that's what you're doing right now it's not completely in the in the hole not your whole finger but just a little bit of your fingers just sort of like here's the sides of the vagina and it just goes a little bit like that okay so when does your finger enter her vagina just a little bit well maybe just a little bit just a little bit okay now we've established that now what I really want to make sure that it didn't happen has there ever been any penis penetration from your penis into nowhere inside the vagina anus never been exposed at all no point in time ever seen your penis exposed never yeah what about any of the other kids do you have any kids okay now the the situations you were talking about with um has this happened back when she was younger or recently um [Music] younger or no no um what about research unfortunately this was um let's get it all out there yeah just get all out there right now I mean I know it's going to make you feel a whole lot better when you guys are on the computer and she was on your lap sitting um do you remember a time maybe you were playing ABC mouse or Nick Jr um did your hand go inside of her pants why she was sitting on your lap um maybe yeah when was this it's been a while because she hasn't come to our house what do you say when you say it's been a while how long do you say I mean like maybe last summer if she came one day they didn't she didn't come every day in the summertime right they went so she was sitting on your lap and your hand went inside her underwear and touch your vagina I just just yeah just briefly briefly dude now let's go back to like we did with your fingers penetrate her vagina I don't remember no well you would remember something like that you know I mean it's an important yeah it's an important situation I mean you would remember something like that because you don't seem like a bad guy you know just you know these kids want to cuddle and stuff like that when they're sitting on when was sitting on your lap and you put your hand down in the front of her underwear does your finger ever penetrate inside of her vagina I mean it's going back to that diagram possible the crease oh that's possible okay and this was sometime last summer when when she was she was here almost a year ago again she because she's in school she doesn't come every day right so it's just a day that she had off and she would come in these instances with they were sometimes this year yeah unfortunately my other than the past Friday has has just increased in it I mean I feel guilty about it and and but yeah but when I cuddle it just like you know and yeah okay yeah yeah I mean I I tell myself at least that they sort of like not not the infinite but the the probably not the outside did your fingers finger ever penetrate her anus at all no you're not positive about that yes okay and she has never I know you said you've never had your penis exposed correct but has she ever went inside your pants to touch your penis no no no no no okay other than last Friday they've already explained uh the other time that you were talking about would that have would that have been the beginning of this year would it be safe to say another time yeah yeah uh this calendar year I do not know when this sort of started it's just that I do this occasionally with how many times yes but just the just the cuddling with my hand on the outside okay okay so I mean touching her on the inside and where it doesn't happen a lot no but so if you had to guess what specifically the whole time she's been not not give me a splits you don't remember that at all no no could that have been maybe last Friday when you guys were when she was climbing on on you and the incident happened you already talked to us about with that made part of it uh no splits I mean no what about it okay sitting on the couch and maybe you just took her legs and sprung them apart okay what happens a lot she likes to do is I will sit on the couch and she wants to sit on my shoulders okay okay and uh when she sits yeah it's like play with her legs and their feet and yes I spread them apart like that do you spread her legs apart I have just just at any point in time together given that you know what you had already told us when her legs are apart like that and she ever had her underwear either off or you moved around and where no no no she's never had her underwear off no no no actually well if she if she did have her underwear on did you ever put your face down in her her vagina area while she had her legs open like that no no are you sure I don't remember if I have but no I I'm sure okay um so would this have all been last Friday what we discussed sometime this year sometimes I mean it's a you said two or three times she sits on my shoulders and you know is she facing you or facing the TV we're both facing watching the TV or whatever okay she just sits on my shoulders and uh so she's sitting here and uh I get the feeling that her vagina area is is you know pushing against my head like that does that arouse you yeah I think in her asses I I think she likes it oh no I mean you but does it arouse me I I mean yeah it does yeah I honestly wouldn't do it so let's see but she yeah but she sort of like constantly wants to do that sits on my shoulder side just put it so yeah I you know play with her legs as far as uh they're they're up there so I you know the kind of spread them apart or clap them or whatever or just they're there so so when you have your hands down her pants that that obviously arouses you as well is that just kind of part of it I'm sure that's why I yes okay I would not I mean uh totally inappropriate behaviors so it must be so so I mean yes yes just to clarify what you have never had any penetration with your penis whatsoever okay what about ever no never never okay what about the other children inside the home have you ever had any issues that we've discussed I mean that way we know ahead of time if there's ever been any other issues with any of the other children that your wife watches that you help watch as well no I've never done anything no she's not as cuddly and she never works not the boys no okay not the boys so I pick him up of course you know we're there just do what you do but no I don't do anything sexual okay with anybody else okay it's just that uh this this coming has unfortunately evolved into something that what does it say when you put your fingers inside of her vagina did she say stop or does she like move your hand away or how does that what happens at that point uh um well [Music] she doesn't well at first for a while she lets me do it and then how long uh I don't know a couple minutes and then then she sort of like you know pull down and said it's stinky isn't it she says your fingers are gonna get sneaky if you if you do that so but so I stopped at that time and then I mean again it's not often I got inside and we're just okay mostly but she's obviously saying you know it's stinky isn't it that obviously if you're doing it for a couple minutes you're rubbing and then you put your finger in and out I mean what is she doing when you're doing that is she still just sitting there she's saying stop is she saying it feels good what is she saying she's still just sort of laying there and relaxing and okay are you kissing her at the same time um not no if you are just fellows yeah no have you not that same time no we're just sit there together and watch TV um and she really just relaxes on my on my shoulder on my my front are you gratifying yourself at the same time [Music] have you ever ejaculated while doing this no come close and then I get up and stop what do you mean you came close well you know you feel like you're gonna well tell me about the incident where you came close bye I was probably I was sitting there probably with probably touching her inappropriately and and um and it felt like oh my gosh it was gonna happen you know in my pants so I just said we got some so I pushed her off and walked around the house and you were not gratifying yourself at the same time not touching myself at all the fact that she was sitting on my lap so were you kind of grinding her on yourself then I wasn't grinding her on myself no she grinding on your lap and she labels but but it's just her being there yes but I mean enough no I didn't so is this purposely do that I know because I don't want it is this an addiction that you feel like you struggle with um foreign one of the things that I do is I work with internet crimes against children so I I'm familiar with the addiction that that can come with this and it sounds like that you've made some key terms and phrases when you've talked about this that you know I've I it's hard for me I've tried and and so I'm wondering yeah it's it's and maybe that's a good word yes that's a good word addiction because I how long has it been going on um I mean we've been she's I've been retired and working with the kids now for just a couple of years 2017 I returned um so um and I really haven't had kind of this kind of a thing word um until uh I mean I started getting that did it ever happen with your daughters when they were young I'm getting that intimate no I didn't put my daughters I mean that's the point I didn't with other kids in the house and one one thing just yeah but but something I I started doing I mean and and you know I told myself that she likes it uh I actually because she keeps coming up coming up to me all the time and and honestly climbing climbing all over it both both and no not also is very active no I understand I'm not bad it's typically you know one or the other as my experience has shown me is typically if there's a sexual attraction to to girls there's not usually the boys as well I mean it's few and far between but the one thing I'll ask you and again in the same lines of you know honesty have you ever taken any inappropriate photographs of or no so like if we if we looked in your phone or on your computer there wouldn't be anything no okay um have you ever do you ever view watch download child pornography not child pornography I mean I looked what's considered important of adulthood okay that's fine but not child no okay have you ever so you've never gone on the internet and looked at pictures of children and and again I know it's going to be uh embarrassing awkward have you ever masturbated to photographs of children that someone else might have seen was inappropriate uh no no I mean I've seen pictures of children naked um on the internet on the internet how did you find those photographs well actually I I searched there's a their family pictures they're not they're they're not children doing sexual things okay just children their children nude playing and at nudist camps and things like that so your family okay but you don't personally know these families I don't personally I know these families it's just that those are the kind of pictures what do you search when you when you find those photographs family nudity or something like that is a certain things you have to put nudist camp or something specific like that or um the word noon helps right but again they're not of the children they're not they're not sexually or they're not sexually they're just standing there maybe playing out of places and stuff like that doing things yes um and usually with an adult with adults other adults there uh so those I mean yes I've looked up stuff like that on them and you and again like I said doing this all the time but when you search those you're focusing on the children that are new um I'm looking at the ever yeah okay but um [Music] um but no I haven't sat there and and masturbated while I watched it okay I mean it's arousing of course right but um but now do you but after the uh the circumstances with that's something that maybe you think about later while masturbating this is also kind of helping with that whole you know trying to understand the the level of addiction you might be suffering from with this um and you know something that might you know down the road require you know what what kind of Assistance or help that you know could be to your Aid so you know like I said after if you're not if you're not ejaculating or you know getting to that that end with them is that something that maybe later on in the evening you'll think about and then and then masturbate to hmm I don't no I mean I honestly have to think about that I mean masturbates in the shower and when I take a shower sometimes but I mean we're all guys we have a we have a thought in our head when when that might be going on is that something that you think about did they do they come up um thank you um maybe just this but again I don't but you know they have never seen maker okay that's fine I'm not I'm not saying that I'm just curious just what I've described here is the extent of the interaction with okay with the girls okay and that's that's good like I said we we definitely have appropriate touching I totally agree okay is this something that you feel like um it's hard for you that let's say that you know you you go back home and then tomorrow or do you feel like that you're unable to control yourself around you just have that strong sexual urge when you're around her is it to that point or like how how do you trust yourself with to not do this again or is it beyond that point I think after today after talking with YouTube I mean after admitting to myself and to you and I'm gonna have to go home and tell Carol I'm afraid um especially it is a business that revolves around children it is and that's why my my latest fear is I put that in danger um and and so yeah I will how do you think I just want to react is she aware of this demon she is not she is not uh if she is she hasn't between me uh and and and um yes so they they talk to their mother about this I'm sure um but they uh and I was you know it's been my fear I guess that they might so after today yes I can say that I I will just have to avoid you know um more than just I mean I can't avoid not I can't wait touching the kids at all right yeah they're running around and then picking them up and stuff like that is just part of the job part of that and again is a she she runs over and she likes she likes to be picked up I've noticed seen pictures of her with family and friends and she's always being picked up and held right that's that's that's she's very but but I'm gonna yes I will again after today especially this is this fear it's going to be in my head enough that I certainly is going to give me The Willpower I think too to stop that behavior yes um and we'll have to talk to Carol and one one thing that my fear is come back anymore I don't know yeah and like I said this is still the preliminary part of the investigation and um one thing that we might not have addressed yet is a lot of times especially when children are young and something like this happens to them you know they don't really comprehend what's happened or what's going on because it's my fear and hopefully you can help clarify this is there going to be any other children that maybe Carol has watched over the last 22 years that this has happened to where there's potential other girls that you might have had this relationship with no because of this Behavior has just begun I think this year I mean not well perhaps different this is so many people I mean this perhaps you know from 2018 also but it's the only reason though it's all the other the other kids know um I've never touched them no I've never done this with with anybody else okay okay that's good to know all right and and yes so uh just to also clarify I don't have to worry about the only thing that would be on your computer would be the nudist family I don't think of anything that yes I I do one of these searches if I do that late at night and I'll put it on the private so that you know there's a there's a way that you can put it so it doesn't the history isn't saved right so that history is not saved okay but there's not there's not photographs of on your computer or on your your cell phone uh well certainly not naked or nude or anything sexualized we have photographs of all the kids so of course Carol has taken and yeah no not my phone so I just heard about it yeah okay my phone I don't want to take pictures oh okay but and you can search I'll I'll if you want I'll give it to you all right you may search that out all right so I will be fully open about all this okay and definitely appreciate it makes our job that much easier and I mean do you feel better than you did before he picked you up I mean obviously I understand the circumstances of the the ACT doesn't go away but does it feel good to open up and talk about it far as do you feel the same uh maybe I mean I when you business there's any of the nice people and they're they're two kids we're only down to four now she's Carol's thinking of retiring a few years she's 61. and and basically not really searching for more kids but also God it's just gonna be you know a record thing and I said sexual predator kind of a thing or whatever and you know we can't foresee the future but um one question I have is Carol's business uh licensed daycare uh no that's not in that sense yes she used to work for with Action for Children okay until actually for children got around to what were they doing they they forgot they they no longer fund food and so she said well forget you so so she's independent on her own it's not licensed okay yeah she's just an independent uh but they they use her like anyone that uses her services do write her off as a tax credit I'm sure yes in fact yes because you guys probably get notified when someone uses I believe an EIN number uh it's basically for for tax purposes like if I'm paying you ten thousand a year I get what 20 tax break or something and I know we she fills out a form for a couple of people yeah okay and the further they're sometimes their jobs give them um um right for for daycare yeah okay I don't know but I know but family does okay all right um so again I don't want to hurt the business that's my fear right okay and yes or or the other fear of on my record or me having a record have you ever been in trouble for anything else before no I mean traffic tickets okay I mean nothing nothing I just didn't always had a good kid so that's the church this type of behavior never happened when your girls were younger no and you said one of your daughters lives locally does she live in Grandview uh no not in Grandview uh Olentangy comments I just you said in town I didn't know if you met Columbus or Grandview Town Columbus and she works at Curtis Chambers Road okay what she did a program uh she works for the floral compartment okay her name is Christy Christina she actually arranges the flowers is that again she arranges you know they see they sell of course see but yeah she makes arrangements and she can make getting the flower and stuff like that and they sell lots of flowers again been there for quite a few years she's right now although she's and also going to Columbus State starting to be a vet tech she's an awesome animals and wants to be good for her I'm just starting a nursery a couple years in or well she's a periods that she had she's actually taken the three years preliminary of Oklahoma State and then she quit school for a while but now she's picked up some money at Kroger she's going to go back and doing the excellent vet tech program so she's in the first year of the two-year okay so when she gets out she will be license or whatever is at that Tech and then which is like nursing in that area and stuff like that then she can find it hopefully find a job locally and prefer she's in the department with her boyfriend right now anyway I don't know what their wedding plans are but she's like 32 so I can't remember all right but the other daughter as I say is up it lives in Kapolei and getting married in Cleveland this summer good news great news all right well I will yeah you uh give me a couple minutes we'll figure out what's going on and then I'll be right back okay like that foreign [Music] just checking with uh some things on children's services to make sure that uh everything that we've talked about has kind of been addressed I don't want to leave any stone unturned um I'm actually just curious um what does I'm in curiosity because of I have a son myself and child care is so expensive what uh what do you guys charge for kids like if I were if I were to have full-time care which would be what 7 30 to 5 30. um 7 35 30 um so gosh should Chris Carroll handles all that 35 per kid I think per day um but if you do um a whole week and it's you know somebody steady like like we have here um it's she takes a little bit less than that um and I I have to ask her the details again Carol handles all that I do remember the 35 per kid so if you you know I'm just for some you know brought it somebody in one day like come on on a school day off or or a couple of the other ex kids that we've recently yeah babysat for uh go to school and have come to us on a day off in fact everybody but again with a whole week is isn't 35 times five it's a little bit cheaper than that okay so you guys discount for doing five yeah for five study days and then uh certainly uh maybe I don't know if she does a monthly discount or not but uh anyway so it's it's fast and we don't charge anything else I pick up after preschool two days a week um we feed lunches and snacks and that's all inclusions okay so do you guys do date nights too and no no not evenings not date nights no yeah like evenings are those are the tough ones to find yeah my mom and dad need a Saturday night out who can watch them until you know 11 or midnight yeah no we haven't volunteered to do that and so it's just uh during the day um and so you have 7 30 to 5 30 are the hours okay Monday through Friday how have you uh does this take up most of your retirement time since you uh left two years ago I don't know any other Hobbies play golf or still in the music don't play golf um singing the church choir uh for music wise um work around the house trying to get you know do things around the house to get them all um rooms painted or or you know we or or things fixed up around the house is that and the other or something this is always that kind of a uh sure that I try to do and again I can't do much around the house during the week because the kids are all there you know right couldn't paint a room so I had to do these on Saturday and Sunday um it's like while the kids are there especially in the afternoon they're napping I'll run down to the workbench and be able to do some things you know down there and yeah just small chores or just Carol rely on you pretty heavily then and and like if you went and did something every day would she still be okay or does she like having you I think she'd be okay really uh she uh I can't I worked up until a couple of years ago she's been doing babysitting for 20 plus years she was always on her own right up until so but I mean I'm just my health is I'm sure relieves her um again a major a major thing is launch and then um I guess if she takes the kids upstairs one at a time uh for naps right and so the other kids are downstairs and I just sort of make sure that they're all behaving themselves or whatever because the little one is is he's he's one and he's he's everywhere he walks around gets into stuff and climbs and whatever just to make sure that he's not getting into something he's not supposed to be yeah my son turns one Wednesday uh not really he'll pull himself up and he'll shimmy himself around but he's not walking yet oh well he's like so close he's so close it's almost like I almost want him just to walk because at least then um I don't have to worry about him climbing on things to try to walk if that makes sense well yeah but boy when he when he starts when they start walking then they really need to find things to get in right yeah so so and so is this your first it is yep so of course make sure you're just baby proofed absolutely remember all the corners of every coffee table and end table have the uh the rubber pads on the outside we haven't done the cabinets yet Outlets plugged in yes the cabinets all the the cabinet locks are important because they like to open them up so all right some things you don't want them in like under the same perhaps yeah all your cleaning supplies and things like that now the ones yeah you know other ones he he gets into the pot and pans we go sure fine we can always put those back always put those back you can't uh induce vomiting vomiting when you drink uh glass cleaner oh no yeah I do have this Lazy Susan in the corner of a kitchen that rolls out and has spices and stuff and we haven't figured out how to lock that yet because he loves to turn that around and pulls his bike bottle down over there does it have a cabinet on it though that opens before like in front of the waist because we have this yeah yeah ours has a cabinet has a cabinet and then you can spin it it's like a bifold door oh no we don't have that we just have the you know as it comes to the corner of the two doors and just spin it and so it'll open it up and go right through the little spice bottles and sometimes if he could open them he's like oh okay yeah so or whatever is down there kitchen floor filled with cinnamon that's always fun yeah [Music] so okay so what's the process what a week I'm waiting for I think uh we're going to another gentleman to do something yeah I think we're going to take uh take you home here soon um like I said I think you just want to clear this is so whenever these children services referrals come in it's very limited with information it'll have basically like the original complaint and but the way that they write it I don't know if you are familiar or too familiar with like medical professionals when they write it's like PT will stand for patient so it's very abbreviated and you're trying to decipher okay PT came into the Ed and they disclosed and so we have what we discussed are you know the key points of what the referral had to talk about um but you know sometimes they they write things down separately from what we get at the initial stages so he's just making sure that okay we have the information that we discussed and to just make sure that we you know crossed rits and dotted our eyes and don't have anything else why you're here to discuss with you um because you know we don't want to keep bothering you coming to your house and you know making it you know uncomfortable so as long as we we prefer one uncomfortable uh interaction we don't want you know Central if that makes sense so I think he's just doing that because of this the screening processes is a lot more in depth than what we got if that makes sense so yeah and I'm just if you can't answer this don't did you talk no I have not that's that's not part of it yeah so children services has a process whenever no matter what the allegation would be whether it's even just you know we just did one of these last week where you know I think a juvenile said that their father hit him with a bat it's the same process no matter what the the circumstances so uh you know we in that particular case the the juvenile was a little older so we were able to actually talk with him but when they're this young we we don't typically reach out to them right away that's something that you know there there's trained professionals with the Nationwide Children's that that work to do that so yes an answer to your question we have not spoke to um will probably um you know obviously let you know everything we'll probably have to reach out to the parents and let them know how our discussion went today this is not something that I'm sure you're aware cannot be kept under the road um you know this is this I mean even though that you know it sounds like you know that your honesty and your remorse it's something that that is very serious so I'm not gonna lie to you this is this is kind of serious stuff again something that you know I deal with you know routinely so children's will do what they call they have an interview process that they'll do with with younger kids and have a discussion with them we don't do that I mean we we're trained in that but there's people that are better than we are to talk with with kids so um but as far as that uh yeah that's yeah you'll probably want to like you already said you're going to have the discussion with Carol um that's you know it's probably better if she hears it from from you than anybody else because you don't know how you know it can be misconstrued from you know people talk and you just don't want her to hear it from anyone else so I will I will tell you about she will eventually find out so it would definitely be better to hear it from her husband than someone else so I know that will probably be a very difficult conversation for you to have as well so timing involved it probably won't happen until after 5 30. I mean never go home and then yeah then we'll talk but do you and you said that uh I know we kind of discussed it before she's never found or figured that this might be going on or because every time this occurs my knowledge it's been with her not in the room yes because you're always separated from everyone else when this does happen yeah she takes all the kids upstairs to a nap and then right and the idea was to to sit on the couch quietly and just sort of calm down and cuddle and does she stay upstairs with the kids while they're napping or does she just trying she sits up there because they tend not to go to sleep right away and they get out of their beds and and so she wants to so she sits up in the hall while the kids there's three bedrooms and have a couple of nut cribs and then I bet okay so she stayed up there in the hall and just to like make sure that nobody can come in or you you call another young girl that was there a little bit yes uh in fact the the other kids call her all right which is something they just started let's see what she doesn't mind that either but so does Carol just sit up and like read or something yeah she stays up there and just just reads uh she has has a book a Nook that she reads or something like that a lot of things on her phone if she's associated with his client now is that when uh the circumstance that happened Friday is that when what you talked to us about is that when that would have happened well actually we were yeah she was in the kitchen Carol's in the kitchen at that time on the computer and again what she was sort of wired um maybe it's just full of energy uh uh I forgot where we were doing uh before she likes to there's a gymnastic mood that she likes when she where I hold her hands and she does a little flip on my hands she but I'm stuck in my knees and I'm walking over it and she likes to do that so she's that for a while uh and I I don't think she wanted me to pick her up but to pick her up and and what she was I don't know what she was doing and everything pick her up but she was still just wired she hits sometimes exercise in the face and it's not good uh but uh so I I said no well look you know I'm tired of different still in the couch and then you can I don't know but it's meant I mean sit down if you want to just play all over me and you can do that so she that's on the couch and she climbed behind me and and went over my shoulder and down again we're just flipped things so it's a very h on that I guess and so she was just going would go over my shoulder and down on put her hands on the floor and then so our people come over here and then like flip her backflip no anyway somehow so as soon as she got on the floor he was so you know so he came over this way and up here and down and then after two or three times there um she I you know so here come over the piece and suddenly whoa no no passion no pants you know she was naked and pulled him down that part so bare bottom okay fine and so did that a couple of times all right there's um thanks to all the questions that I have um do you have any more questions um you're free to go if uh if you want to walk home you can or if for that because most of the time people don't own up to it yeah what I was trying to avoid it but I couldn't yeah you did well pull in pulling out of me I mean yeah yeah well you were you know you were you were free to go at any point you wanted to stay here and uh and and obviously own up to them I couldn't avoid it I I I yeah I couldn't avoid it yeah because I knew that yeah it was there yeah if I didn't talk to you and have to talk eventually so well all you can do is move forward right just be honest with your wife about anything which I'm sure you will be an uncomfortable conversation but something you're gonna have to have okay it might fear it'll have two fears said first of all the uh yeah the business because there's two kids there yeah and secondly I hope I don't have any like I'm one of those what are they called the things I'm a record or a child you ever been arrested or anything like that before ever okay all right you have any other questions we'll just do our thing on the investigative side obviously that's our job so um but yeah if you're ready to go we'll take it back home and uh uh but you can get cards or something yeah I mean you're probably gonna call me convicted ever pleaded guilty to a sexually oriented child victim offense as such he will be a tier 3 registrant for your lifetime with in-person verification every 90 days failure to register failure to verify residents at the specified times or failure to provide notice of a change in Resident address or other required information as described about will result in criminal prosecution this court is so sick and tired of seeing Adults Ruin and abused children these are literally just one step from being babies they come to a daycare those parents struggle so that when they release their children to someone during the day they have some semblance that that child is going to be protected and safe not let alone two of their children being raped by your own admission sir for sexual gratification you violated a four-year-old and a six-year-old I do not know at this time what the total ramifications will be for those two young children but there isn't anybody who doesn't understand now the developmental phases of children take place from zero to six years old you can't even know what damages you've done for sexual gratification this to me is so mind-boggling that you used and abused two little children like their their their their inconsequential beings those are human persons with human dignity the mere fact that they're small little people that can't fight off adults that's why an adult left them with adults I'm going to tell you something Mr McFadden there's no free rapes in my courtroom on count one I'm sending you to prison for 11 years on count four I'm sending you to prison for 11 years they will be consecutive to each other for a total of 22 years you have 32 days jail credit um at this time the court finds it necessary to protect the public from future crimes to punish the offender and to find that consecutive sentences are not disproportionate to the seriousness of the offender's conduct Into the Danger the offender poses to the public folks if you see it you smell it you know it's happening you report it these are little children that are the future I hate to sound so cliche but the children are our future and if we're destroying them we have no future and this ends in this courtroom that'll be all fines and cost her way
