several weeks back now on August the 1st of 2022. a horrific Story made Nationwide news all over the country where a Good Samaritan was driving down this road right here at County Route 34 in a small town right outside of Auburn Alabama Dadeville this Good Samaritan was driving down the road when they stumbled across a young girl walking down the street this Good Samaritan can immediately tell that something was off so they stopped to see if she needed help little did they know when they made this decision not only were they saving this young girl's life but they were also opening a door to one of the most unbelievably horrific crimes the state of Alabama has ever seen you may have seen the story all over the news in the last month if you haven't seen it though you're not going to believe the story that we're covering today I'm so thankful this young girl got away in February of this year 2022 29 year old Sandra ceja and her boyfriend 37 year old Jose Reyes and Sandra's two kids who by another man uh they were 12 and 14. they all moved down from Tennessee to right here in this mobile home in Dadeville Alabama Sandra and Jose they had been together for a little while they hadn't gotten married but they might as well have been common law married they had been together for so long for almost six months after they moved into this mobile home things were business as usual for the family Jose worked for a construction company and every day he left and he went to work and he came back home every evening late in July just a little bit over a month ago things took a drastic change and no one is really sure as of right now why things changed but Sandra's boyfriend Jose his mental state was all of a sudden go to some Dark Places and it all led to where we are now fast forward to August the 1st of 22. about a month ago now a passer buyer was driving right down this road here and as they were driving they noticed that a young girl was walking down the side of the road ahead of him they could tell that her clothes were dingy and as they got closer they noticed that she was bleeding from her head so this Good Samaritan they didn't think twice they pulled over and asked her if she needed help this young girl tells that Good Samaritan that she had just escaped from the home and she pointed to this home the Samaritan instantly believed her based on her appearance and as soon as she said that that Samaritan just kind of threw the young girl in the car and they hightailed it out of the area getting her as far away as they could and as soon as they got off County Road 34 and on to a different Highway this Samaritan called 9-1-1 the Good Samaritan coordinated with the 911 operator and they drove this young girl straight to a police officer who was waiting for her immediately they took the girl to the hospital so that she could get some medical attention and they got her some new clothes and some food and water and then within an hour or two law enforcement were able to sit down with her at the hospital and they were able to find out exactly what happened this young girl told officer she had been tied to a bed in her home for several days she hadn't seen her mother or her brother in days and when law enforcement asked her if she knew who had done this to her this young girl was able to give them the name Jose Reyes her mom's boyfriend police officers immediately head back to the home where the girl had came from with their guns drawn they breached the front door and they immediately found a horrific scene inside that was straight out of a horror movie inside of the mobile home law enforcement found that it was destroyed there were piles of trash everywhere and there was like old food everywhere and empty alcohol bottles where I'll just tossed on the floor and they were all over the place and as they make their way back into the back bedroom they find two deceased and decomposing bodies that had also been dismembered law enforcement could not believe what they were seeing and several of them even ran out of the home like throwing up just sick to their stomachs at the the visuals the sight inside of this home the decomposing dismembered remains were that of Sandra Saha and her 14 year old son now this was the young girl's mother and her brother so with an arrest warrant in hand a whole slew of officers descended onto Jose Reyes he was at a job site in Auburn Alabama about 25 miles away from the home he was quickly taken into custody and he was brought right here to the Tallapoosa County Sheriff's Office for an interrogation he immediately talked to detectives and it wasn't until they got the stories from both Reyes and the girl that they put both of the stories together and they got the full picture of what really happened inside of this mobile home at some point on July the 24th about four or five weeks ago now Jose Reyes he just I guess he loses his mind he Smothers Sandra seeha with a pillow and then he goes to the little boy and he beats him to death with his bare hands and feet Rhea says that he didn't mean to kill them he just wanted to incapacitate them and that he was going to tie them all up and then demand a ransom from their family down to Mexico he goes on to say that he just wanted Sandra to pass out but that he had held the pillow over her head too long and she suffocated he was still going to try and get a ransom for both of the kids so he swapped up his method of incapacitating them since the mother had died and he walks over to the 14 year old boy and he just starts punching him in the head over and over and over again until the boy lost consciousness Jose Reyes didn't stop there he continued beating and kicking on this little boy and before he knew it the 14 year old boy was also deceased as a will it was at this point that Jose Reyes says he knew it had gone too far and there was no turning back so he did a 180 and he completely changed up his plans from the ransom and he went in an entirely different direction Jose then goes into the 12 year old girl's bedroom he snatches a roof out of the bed and he bashes her in the head to try and knock her out he carries her down the hallway and into the master bedroom and he throws her onto the bed that he just the night before her had shared with this young girl's mother and he begins to sexually assault this 12 year old little girl once Jose finishes he uses various ropes and belts and stuff that he had laying around and he ties this young girl to the bedpost by her wrist and her ankles her wrists were bound with rope and her ankles with the belts and for the next week after this this young girl stayed tied to this bed he only lit her up to go to the bathroom and even that was pretty rare when he was at the house he kept her drugged with pills and he only gave her alcohol to drink for the entire week that way she would be constantly out of it and he spent an entire week assaulting her over and over again and she couldn't fight back sometime the day after he killed this girl's mother and brother on the 25th of July Jose had given this young girl a bunch of sleeping pills or something like that to knock her out and this was when Jose began trying to dismember the bodies to try to hide evidence he thought it would be easier to dispose of them in smaller pieces and then maybe he could try to conceal what he had done the young girl says that she didn't know this had even happened to her mother and brother because she was out of it she was passed out for most of the first few days she had never had any kind of like sleeping pills or alcohol before and you know the first time you take something like that it hits you very really hard the the first time anyone takes something like that you're out of it and that was it was the same for her so for those first few days she was just completely out of it and had no clue that he was in there butchering his mother and brother Jose told the detectives that after he had dismembered the two bodies every time he thought about like getting rid of them taking them out of the house he got scared that he was going to get caught so before he knew it a whole week it passed by and because he couldn't bring himself to get these bodies out of the house they were just still laying there in the back room this little girl Not only was she tied up to a bed and she was being tortured by Jose Reyes for an entire week but then she had to endure the smells and all that that come from these decomposing bodies in the Next Room it's atrocious it's just absolutely horrible to think about on August the 1st Jose has to go to work immediately after he leaves the house the young girl who is still in kind of a daze from all the drugs and alcohol she tells herself that she doesn't want to die there she knows his routine and she knows that he's going to be gone all day and Incredibly somehow she musters up the strength and the energy and she starts chewing and gnawing at the ropes that are tied around her wrist it took her a few hours and she even wound up breaking her braces chewing through those ropes but she finally got one hand free and she was able to use that hand to untie the rest of her restraints and for the first time in an entire week this young girl was able to freely stand up and move around like I said she was still in a daze at that point and she had no clue what time it was she didn't know if most of the day had passed and Jose was going to be home soon so she didn't take any time to change clothes she didn't go to the bathroom she didn't get a glass of water nothing she got up and she ran out of the house and she made a break for it and fortunately it was at that exact moment the passer buyer was coming down the road towards her she got out here to the road and the pastor bar saw her and stopped and they scooped her up and they got her as far away from here as they could Jose Reyes was right then booked into the Tallapoosa County Jail on multiple accounts of capital murder first degree kidnapping and abuse of a corpse right after he got done telling detectives all of this they also promised that they would be adding more charges later on as the investigation continued several days after Jose Reyes was arrested law enforcement actually hit a roadblock when they discovered that he was in the country illegally he had actually been in the country illegally before and he was deported in 2014 and then they have no clue how or when he re-entered the country but this caused a problem for him because immigration could easily just Deport him again before his trial and before Sandra and her children got Justice daveville Tallapoosa County quickly filed the paperwork to keep him in the country so he would have to face Justice but because we're so new into this there isn't an outcome for that yet there will be a small trial with an immigration judge and at some point in the near future that immigration judge will be well they'll make that determination whether he's going to stay in the country or be deported if they deport him it's likely that he would never be seen again he'll never come back because he knows what he's facing here in the United States law enforcement also because of Jose's immigration status they checked the status of Sandra and her children and it turns out that they actually followed the correct paperwork they were granted asylum in the United States now they just got to keep Jose Reyes here unless he pleads out to take it off the table Alabama does have capital punishment we do have a death penalty and this seems like this would be uh the perfect case for that the brutality of these murders and and the brutality of him assaulting this young girl Jose Paulino Pasquale Reyes it's currently sitting right here at the Tallapoosa County Jail just on the other side of this wall and this is where he will remain until his immigration trial and if he pleads or goes to trial for these murders in this assault a judge here in Tallapoosa County did deny him bonds so he won't be able to get out until these uh court dates which I guess is a good thing because he's obviously a bad guy but it will undoubtedly be years from now before his trial takes place as you guys know the justice system doesn't work very quickly in America most cases it's at least a year sometimes three four five years before cases like this go to trial but when more information does come available I will keep you updated now the young girl she was placed into a foster home that was hand-picked by the state of Alabama a foster home with people that would love her and who would be able to help her because of the situation that she had gone through so she is in good hands now eventually at some point I would assume they will probably look to Mexico to find like her nearest relative and try to reunite those try to reunite her with her nearest relatives or closest relatives but you know I know the trials got to take place so I don't know how all that's going to work if they're going to bring somebody up here to be with her or if they're going to send her down there and hope she comes back for trial I don't know how old that works I can't even begin to imagine the pain and suffering that this young girl went through not only in that week but since then it's unfathomable to me to even remotely understand what she dealt with it's horrible it's just absolutely horrible that is going to do it for this video today from here in
