Regardless of whether you can make an identification, we will continue to investigate this incident. With that in mind, I'm going to show you six photos arranged so they may be simultaneously viewed. The group of photos may or may not contain a picture of the person who committed the crime now being investigated. Keep in mind that hairstyles, beards, mustaches may easily be changed. Uh the photos may not always depict the true complexion of a person. It may be lighter or darker than shown in the photo. Okay. M >> pay no attention to the order of the photos or markings or numbers that may may appear on the photos or to any differences in the type or style of the photographs. Okay. >> Mhm. >> Take your time uh when you've looked at all the photos, tell me whether or not you see the person who committed the crime. Okay. >> You should not feel compelled to make an identification. Uh if you do identify someone, you will circle >> and initial the person on the lineup. Okay? Please remember that since this is an ongoing investigation, you are not permitted to discuss the identification procedure with anyone other than law enforcement or legal counsel. Uh do you understand the instructions? Any question? You understand? Okay. Um, he's the signal for his fan and then he's supposed just stay here so we get away from all this all this >> Yeah, we're we're we're grenad So, when was the last time you guys were downtown? >> Huh? >> When was the last time you guys were downtown? >> What else? >> When When was the last time you guys both you and your boyfriend downtown? >> I don't know. I don't remember. >> Huh? >> You don't You don't know? >> I don't remember. Like the last time you weeks? I don't know. >> A couple weeks. Like >> I don't know. I don't remember. >> I mean, >> I don't remember. I don't know. >> You don't remember? Was it a week ago, two weeks ago? Probably 3 weeks ago and a month ago. >> A month ago. So, two weeks ago, you guys in downtown two and a half weeks ago, I think it was Thursday night. >> Um, you guys were downtown. You went to Boulevard >> where >> Boulevard Queens right here. To be honest, I just moved here like a couple years ago, two years ago, and I'm usually using DPS. >> Okay. So, I I'll I'll let you know since you're having trouble remembering you guys came came downtown. You went to Queens, you went to Queens, you then went to Taco, got two shots and then two shots of silver drum drone silver. And then you guys drove down to International Drive. Hey, am I ringing any bells for you? [Music] >> Do you do you recall going to International Drive? >> You guys didn't do anything like or anything like that? >> No. >> All I'm looking for is like the truth. I want to tell you what all this is about. But if you're just going to be a no person and say no to every single question I ask or say that you don't remember. You don't know when >> you're obviously lying. You started lying. >> You started our interview offline. You said you came from home. You did not come from home. I know you did not come from home. >> Okay. That's why I'm here. You're not just mysteriously getting picked up by police for no for no reason. Okay. So, let's start over. On your way here today, where did you come from? Cuz you didn't come from home. >> Yes. Grandpa came from home. I was home. I took a shower and I came here. >> Where's home? >> Where is home? >> Dad is again >> Lake Deborah. >> That's not where you came from. >> Again, I'm I'm trying to get to the truth. It's one thing for you to lie to me about something that happened two and a half weeks ago. No, >> now you're lying about something happened about an hour ago. >> Okay. >> Two weeks ago. Like what happened two weeks ago? >> Let's start with what happened tonight. What happened today? >> You That's why I'm asking you. You didn't come from home. I'm trying to ask you where you came from. >> From home. >> Were you there together? >> Okay. Yeah. Um my other uh my other address that I went he lives there. I live on the other address and I went to pick him up from my house. Okay. So my address that he live where is the old house? Uh 20. >> Why did you lie to me about that? >> I don't have a lie. I just wanted to take him off and I don't want him. No, you you definitely lied. So now now it sounds like you might be telling the truth. >> That's better. Okay. So now let's get back to 2 and 1/2 weeks ago and let us tell the truth about that. Okay. So you guys came downtown and you first went to Bullet Park, which is this one right here, literally right behind me. >> Went upstairs to Queens. >> Okay. And then we went to >> which is a little right right here. >> And then you guys left short downtown. Nothing wrong with that. >> Okay. >> And then I went to the >> Walgreens. Am I ringing any? >> No. No. [Music] Do you ever eat when you come down here? >> Huh? >> Do you ever eat? >> I eat Yeah. >> Yeah. Where do you eat at? >> What I eat at home? >> No. Do you eat when you come down here? >> Yeah, we eat sometimes. >> Where Where do you eat when you come down here? >> Uh the the person they sell hot dogs. >> Yeah. Hot dogs. Do you eat any tacos? >> I tacos. >> Yeah. Do you go to taco places down here? >> No. >> No. Yeah, that was close. This river, [Applause] >> by the time we're under there, it'll stop raining. [Applause] Yeah, that's all right. >> I don't know if I want to play our whole game about see what she what she what she does. Just give it another crack and then I'll give it a crack and I'll be the bad I'll be the bad guy. >> That was good. Yeah. Just see what she just see if she just see if she'll like fess up to it. >> All right. So, it sounds like we we made some progress, right? So, to be honest about you said you were at your house and saying you picked up your boyfriend from the Denver address at that point. you picked up your boyfriend at that point address or was he at your house at your house? Okay, so it's a little bit different than what he just told me a second ago, too, which I don't understand the big deal about not wanting to, you know, talk about >> I don't know what's going on. >> Okay, >> so I don't have nothing else to know >> till I get a lawyer. I don't know what's going on. >> That's the law, right? I don't want to talk because I want to go here. >> You ever been arrested? >> I was arrested. >> Okay. Talk to the other guy. [Music] Yeah. [Music] >> Did they answer? [Music] >> Did they Did they answer our video anything? Good. >> That's where they were. >> Well, these people that were in the white. >> What are they talking about? >> I guess. Yeah. Somebody took something. I don't know. >> I don't know. >> She thought she was going through public, but she wasn't. She just got in a fight and left her. >> She lost her purse in the club, but they found it with all the property in it. I got >> Well, it's just convenient cuz >> I wear they stole our bag. >> They stole our bag. I don't care about >> that. I got a 22. [Applause] Oh, where where do you stay in Orlando? What's your phone number? >> Yeah. >> How long you had that phone? >> 3 or 4 months or years. Four months. >> Four months. Trying to trying to get some more air. It's not it's not a perfect system. At least it's not too hot out. >> I mean, it's hotter than it's been the last couple months. All right, man. Um, want to talk to you about why you're coughed. I do have to read your rights before I talk to you guys. Okay. You have the right to remain silent. Do you understand? I I do need a verbal like just say yes or no. You understand or not? So you have >> Yeah, I understand. >> You have the right to be a sign. You understand? >> Yes, sir. >> Say what? >> What? What happened? >> So So you are right now you're in handcuffs. Okay. So you're being detained by law enforcement according to our law. Like if I want to ask you any questions or about discuss the reason you're in handcuffs. I know sounds excusable, but I have to read you your constitutional rights. Okay? So, I just have to read you these. I just need a verbal confirmation of that you understand the rights I'm telling you. So, you have the right to remain silent. Do you understand? Yes. Anything you say may be used against you in court. Do you understand? Yes. You have the right to talk to a lawyer before and during questioning. Do you understand? If you cannot afford a lawyer and want one, what will be provided for you before questioning without charge? Do you understand what I'm saying? If if uh no if you cannot afford a lawyer and one one will be provided for you before questioning without charge. Do you understand? Yes. >> And has anyone threatened you or promised you anything to get you to talk to me? That's a weird question. Okay. So, um just want to first talk about tonight and then we'll go back to earlier. Um tonight you guys obviously come downtown drinking. Um, where'd you guys come from today? >> Yeah. the house. Am I right at Deborah? >> Okay. >> Okay. So, I I I want to get >> I want to I want to get somebody >> Yeah. >> Yeah. where you came from where you live. >> Okay. >> I I mean I don't I don't really care about updated addresses. I'm just my my question to you right now is you guys drove here, right? So where did you drive from directly? Where was your last place that your car was parked at? Camera camera >> camera >> camera I don't know the team camera I N >> okay >> okay so and that's over on the west side of Orlando and then where were you guys at before that. Okay. So, we I I want to get started off on the right foot. I I want you to be honest with me. That's a big part of me asking these questions right here is to see how honest you're going to be with me. You guys you guys didn't come from work and drive. You came from somewhere else. >> Yeah. You guys up >> like it's not it's not a big deal. Like honestly this the question I'm asking any is criminals or just >> I'm waiting my mother. >> Where did you pick her up from? >> Meet her. >> What city? Yes. >> City. >> Where? [Music] >> Where does where? >> Hey guy. >> No. Where did you pick her up from? >> I don't know. What city? >> How did you get there? >> Just get to the question. Is that all right? >> Real quick. Um, your girl your girl has a phone. How long has she had that phone number? >> Hey, it's a simple question, dude. That's a real simple question. How long has she had the phone? One year, two year, five year, 10 year. All her life at least >> about >> I don't know. No one >> more than one month. >> No, more than a month. >> Yeah. More than a year. >> No, no, no. >> About a year. >> Five, six months. >> I don't know. >> All right. I'm going to cut to the chase. I'm trying to get people stolen. Okay. Yeah. >> So, you guys come downtown a lot and you you like to steal phones. You like to steal wallets. I'm trying to get that property back. Trying to figure out where it's going. >> You have nothing. >> You guys are in jail because 2 and 1/2 weeks ago you guys stole you guys stole property. Okay. And then you fraudulently used it. So, I'm trying to give you an opportunity to be honest about it. Trying to figure out where this these victim's property is going. Um so that we can get things back to them. Hopefully, that's my goal. My goal is to make life better for people, not just make it worse for you. >> Obviously, I saw somebody. >> Is this you? >> Yes. >> Okay. You stole >> now get to it. >> Yes. >> I don't know. >> Then how did I get the picture? >> I don't know. >> How do you think? >> I don't know. >> How do you think? Are you a criminal? No. >> Okay, then be honest. >> No, be honest. I don't I don't know why. >> Was it one time or many times? >> Maybe a mistake. >> Did you ever go to Walgreens? >> Was it Walgreens? >> Walgreens. >> Did you go to Walgreens on International Drive? >> Liar. Liar. Pants on fire. >> I did. All right. So, you're hand you're going to jail for this. Okay. It's one thing to lie about certain things that like we can't believe like I understand people are going to lie about things, but like I literally have you on camera at a Walgreens. So, why are you lying about being at Walgreens? Cuz now you're going to have to go in front of the jury then show a video of your face on Walgreens and you're going to be like >> and you're lying. >> Oh, that's not me. >> Oh, and what about the other place? >> Taco. >> Taco. Yeah. >> Okay. >> Have you ever been to Taco Cat right there? The bar right next to it that's connected to it. >> Patone going through the exit. >> Patron shot. >> Yes. You only you >> and your girl >> Gucci Gucci wallet. You get the credit card out of it. You need it to. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, that's going to look great. Yeah. >> Okay. >> Okay.
