Okay. >> Norman. >> Norman? >> Daisy kicked it. >> What is he wearing? >> Um a Whiskey Bent black shirt. It He left his hat here, so not his hat. Uh gray shorts and Twisted X's. Like, you know, the ones that come up >> Oh. >> a little ways uh with no laces in them. >> How long ago did this happen? Right now it's 20 It's 9:47. Right now. >> He texted me and I didn't answer it. He texted me not long after he left. And I don't even know what he said. He said, "You can have it as long as I never see you again." That's what he told me. >> What time was that? >> 9:21 and that was probably I called I originally I told my Siri to just call 911 and they called the They called the They called crisis dispatch for some reason. They tried to transfer me and I couldn't get through to 911 dispatch, so that took a little time I made the call at 9:14. So, that was when he was still here. >> Okay, we'll go. I'm so sorry. Your name is Norman? >> Cameron. >> Cameron. >> Yes. >> I'm sorry. You want to take a seat for me? >> Take a seat? >> Yeah, or if you want to stand up. I just want to have you I just want I just want you to be comfortable because I want you to I'm going to ask you questions and talk about it. Cameron, what's your >> [snorts] >> Bed shirt. >> Okay, have you ever uh had contact with law enforcement by any chance? >> No, I didn't. >> Okay, so I'll explain to you what's going to happen, okay? Uh right now I'm just going to ask you to go basically through everything. I'm going to ask you questions leading up to it um just to make sure that I have everything correct. I'm going to have you show me show me around the house. I'm going to take pictures and document everything um everything correctly um and we'll go from there. If you have any questions, if you want me to stop or anything, just let me know and then we'll I'll walk you >> I'm not the type person. Like this has happened so many times and I've never done anything about it. >> Right. >> Because I love him. Like I did We've been together for 8 years. Like >> 8 years? Okay. >> Like it's nothing new. Like it's Like it's not like this has been going This has been going on for 8 years. It's just gotten worse and worse and that's why we're not together. But like it's never happened like this and I'm just so done with it. He's broken things Daisy, get down. I have videos and plenty of videos and pictures of him breaking things before and the way that he gets and Like I can't do it anymore. >> Right. >> Like and I don't But I'm not the type person. Like I don't want to take her away from him. Like I you know, but I do at the same time. >> Well, I I'll tell you what. I don't know you. I don't know you guys' relationship. I don't even I don't even know who he is. Um but I what I can tell you that I go to domestics all the time and they just keep getting worse and worse until it gets to the point where >> Well, I know I don't want to be with him anymore. Like that's not a question at all. Like I know I don't want to be with him. It's like I've said for the I've said for the past year that like you know, it's been brought up of us separating and things and Of course he gets defensive and whatever and I but I've always said that like I don't I honestly don't completely trust how he would be with her alone. >> Right. >> I feel like a shitty person for saying that but like >> No, I mean no, but like >> How can you deny that? Like why would I'm not crazy. >> No, and the last thing >> every right to believe that. >> And the last thing that I that I want you is to I I don't want to show up to your house and you have injuries or him being like actually, you know, you have a black eye or something like that cuz obviously he's capable and he's strong enough. >> why he moved it. I told the other guy he moved the table right there. He came in from that side because he came in pounding on my door. >> Okay, hold on. Let's go back, okay? Let's go back. Ready? All right. Is this your house? >> I rent. >> You rent. Does anybody else live with you? >> Not yet. Somebody's moving in, but not yet. >> Okay. Not yet. So, this is you're renting. >> Yeah. >> Uh how long have you guys been separated or >> 2 weeks. >> 2 weeks. Okay. >> What's Today's the since like the >> That's fine. Just >> week of August >> Okay. So, today how How did everything start? >> I mean, it was just he came We were fine. Everything was fine. He came over here to see her because he hadn't seen her all week. And so, he came over to see her. Uh we got her and I got here at like 6:30 and he got here at like 6:45. >> Mhm. >> He was here. Everything was great. I mean, like we were That's how it goes. Like it's We're laughing, having a good time. Like they were playing. Whatever. She goes to bed. He leaves. That was fine, you know. Whatever. >> Oh, so he left? >> Yeah, he left. Uh and then, you know, we kind of got started getting into conversation. Um you know, like you said, I mean, still something fresh. It's not It's only been 2 3 weeks. Like it's not whatever. >> Right. >> Um but he when he was here, he saw one of my friends I originally from California. I had one of my friends One of my friends text me. It was a guy. >> Mhm. >> Or snapped me. All he saw was the picture and he got really weird about that before he left. He didn't say anything about it, but like I know him, you know? Like I'm not stupid. >> This before he left? >> This before he left. Sorry, yeah. He saw that on my phone. Instantly after he saw that, he got really weird after that. Like we were fine and everything and then he got really weird about it. And just like didn't really talk to me. And then, after she went to bed he was like, "Okay, I'm headed out." And I was like, "Okay, like okay, peace leave. So, excuse me." He left um and he had told me but or no, he told me before he left that he wanted to talk about something. >> Mhm. >> And I said, "Okay, sounds good." He meant like after she went to bed. I'm like, "Okay, sounds good." She goes to bed. He says he's leaving and I said I asked him "I thought you wanted to talk." And he said "No, I don't really feel like anymore. I'm pretty tired. Blah, blah." I'm like "Okay, like >> Mama. >> whatever. What?" >> They did hurt me. >> I'm sure it was an accident, baby. Um >> She just stepped on me. >> I was like, "Okay, whatever like it's kind of BS like but whatever, you know?" So, he leaves. And I text him I texted him after that and I just told him like "If something's not cool like we need to talk about it." Like if we're not cool on something we need to talk about it because you know, like we've already said like we want to be cool with each other. We want everything to be good for her and whatever. And it just down spiraled from there. It went into bringing stuff up from the past of things I've done and things he's done. And then he he told me like "Oh, we're going to call and talk about this or I'm not going to talk to you about it." And I was calm. I wasn't like I wasn't mad. I wasn't nothing. I was frustrated. But I wasn't mad or anything. And he started like shortness of breath. Um So, we ended up he said oh well, I'm not going to I'm not going to talk about this anymore unless you're going to call because like we're texting and he's like I'm not going to I'm not going to talk about anything else unless we're going to call. >> Mhm. So, I called him. I was calm. We talked for maybe 2 minutes. Just like I said, about it was not one specific topic. I told the other guy, it was like >> It was everything >> this thing, that thing, this thing, that thing. It wasn't like I couldn't even tell you, to tell you the truth. Like it was thing like I said, things I've done, things he's done, things we've said, things that have never been said, thing you know, it was just a whole mess of things. And he >> Special time >> ended with saying that uh he was tired of my games and that he was going to come over here because this is that he he was [ __ ] tired of my games. >> respond to something that you said? >> And I said, "No, you're not going to come over here because you're going to come over here and I already know how it's going to go. You're going to yell and scream and you're going to wake up Paisley and I'm not going to deal with it." >> Mhm. >> And he said, you know, he's yelling and screaming at me over the phone already. And he said, "No, I'm [ __ ] coming over there. This is [ __ ] This is I'm done playing your your games. I'm done with you. I hate you. Blah, blah, blah." >> You or him? >> No, him. This is him saying this to me on the phone. And so, like you're not coming over here. You are not coming over here. And he said, I don't know, he said something about um I don't know why there always has to be something like we always we always have to argue about something. Well, and he's screaming at me while he's saying this. This isn't like some calm conversation. He's already screaming at me over the phone. And I didn't want him to come over here. So, I told him that that was it. I said, "We will communicate over phone call." And I said I will block cuz that was one of the other things. He's like, this and that about social media. And I literally right after that, I blocked him on Facebook, Instagram, whatever, because that's what he had to complain about. And I'm just done with it. So, did that. Uh I I I told him, "You're not [ __ ] coming over here. I already blocked you on whatever you had to [ __ ] complain about. Like, I'm done with it. We'll communicate only for Paisley, and blah blah blah. I said I don't want you to be anything to me. You're nothing to me besides Paisley's father. Like, this is it. It's done. I don't want to do I don't I'm tired. I'm drained. I'm [ __ ] tired of it. I've been dealing with it for [ __ ] years. And he just keeps screaming, "I'm [ __ ] coming over there. I'm [ __ ] coming over there." And then he hung up on me. >> Mhm. >> I thought for sure he wasn't just because psychotic. Like, what Why are you going to What is that going to help? Like, I already said >> No. >> I already knew that back door was locked because uh it's always locked. We don't I don't ever really use it. >> Right. >> Um he comes I wish I would have taken a video of it because he comes I heard him pull in driveway like all quick. Pulls up into the driveway. I hear him slam the truck door. Comes up here and he's just nonstop. It went on for like a minute at this door pounding on the door. Pounding. And I didn't open it. I didn't nothing. I came over here and I said, "Leave." I just yelled through the door. I said, "Leave." Then all of a sudden it stopped and I thought he had left and then >> Well, hold on. I'm sorry. It's cuz I'm trying to >> Oh, no. I'm sorry. Yeah. I >> Pounded on the door for a minute. Uh you came to the door Sorry, I was falling behind. All right. You came to the door telling him to leave. The pounding stopped. >> Yeah, like right as I started to say that he it stopped. And then all of a sudden I hear like crash crash back here. >> What do you mean crash? >> There's Like, there's just there's the gate So, in the back I mean. So, like back here there's the gate to go to the backyard. I heard, you know, metal clinging, so I would assume it was the gate swinging open. Meaning he went around the back here, the side of the house to the back. Came around this back door. Started pounding on this back door, which is to the laundry room. It's locked. And by the time I got like I don't know how he was even moving so fast because by the time I got from this door to that door to tell him to knock it the [ __ ] off, he was already coming around. There's another door back there. There's so many doors. There's another door through this sliding glass door right here. There's like a big room right there. On the outside there's a porch and then there's a door inside the porch that leads into that big room. And then that sliding glass door leads into here. door I never remember because we never use it. It doesn't lock. It doesn't lock. We have a pole and I think that's what else I heard. We have a pole like a metal pole that is holding the screen door of that porch closed because it doesn't close right and it just swings open all the time. And so he went through there and through that door and into here. >> Do you mind showing me? Do you mind Do you mind? >> I've already gone back and I've locked everything just so you know because he told me they told me to on the phone. But I mean there's this door. >> Be careful, okay? >> Yeah, baby, stay Can you stay on the couch, please? >> I want to. >> Okay, come here. >> She wants to. >> Um I mean there's just this door. >> Show me where >> But no, this was the one the second one he came pounding on. >> But that's not the one he came through. >> He came through >> You just I just wanted to have an idea. But it's this one the one he came through, right? >> Oh yeah, it's There's a door inside there. You can turn the light on right there. That right there. Yeah, so he was standing like then there's a porch on the outside of that. >> Okay. >> He came in there um came out through this way. Came through here and I was coming out of here. Met him at the sliding glass door right there. >> Oh. I'm sorry. >> Um Met him at the sliding glass door right here. Told him to told him to leave. Like I told him I you don't need to be here. [ __ ] leave. And he's already um Of course he's already screaming and yelling and everything else and he comes straight in. And I was standing in the corner of there by where that light switch is. Comes in he comes around the table is normally in the center like right here, right? >> Mhm. >> He I'm in the corner right there. He walks around the table this way. >> Mhm. >> And comes over to this chair. Starts moving the chairs. And I'm still standing right there saying, "What the hell are you doing? Why are you moving [ __ ] around? Like what are you doing?" He came in and he came back with that case of beer by the way. He was here with it earlier. He had like maybe two while he was here earlier. Um cuz we ate dinner like it was everything was fine. Like we ate dinner or whatever. >> [snorts] >> And um then he came back with it when he came back, set it on the table, pulled the table, moved the chairs the chair that was in front of this side, pulled the table this way to like match it with right here. And pull put two chairs in the little gap that was left right here from where I was standing. >> Mhm. >> I'm like, "What the hell are you doing?" >> Where was she? >> She was asleep. She was in bed. She came down right as he left because and she came down screaming crying because she heard all that and but he pulled it this way and I said, "What the hell are you" He's like, "Get out of the kitchen, please." I was like I asked him, "What the hell are you doing?" And he said, um Of course you know he's already freaking psycho and whatever and he said, "I moved the [ __ ] table over here so that I don't" He said, "So I don't get the urge to hit you or so I can't get to you to hit you" or something like that. He was already like one of the most like mad I've seen him when he got here. He was that mad already. >> So I don't get the urge to hit you and what else? >> It was something I I I'm not going to say it was straight there but it was something about so I don't get the urge to hit you or so I can't get to you to hit you, or it was something like that. It had It was hit you. Something about hit you. >> And I didn't completely see the layout of that, but is there any way for you to get out of that area where he had you? Does it make sense? >> You mean right there? >> So, did he do it to where you couldn't come this way? >> No, I couldn't. I definitely couldn't. He put a chair The table was here. >> So, completely covered it. >> chair here, and a chair here, and then he pulled another chair >> 15:30 4 >> and put a chair right here. >> Mhm. >> And then whatever we got to arguing, and before this happened, he did that, and he said that about the hit you thing. >> So, you had nowhere else to go. You couldn't go anywhere. >> I could go out the sliding glass door, but other than that, no. >> Okay. 14:45 Go ahead. >> Yeah, so >> Did you guys make contact? >> Yeah, we have two files. >> Um So, he moved the table and chairs and stuff like that, said that. Um Sorry, I lost my train of thought. >> Also, I don't get the urge to hit you, or so that I couldn't get you, and you were just explaining that. >> Oh, and then he just like And then he I don't know, it was something dumb. He >> 25:30 >> the table, he knocked over her cup of milk, and I said something to that because >> 25:50 >> that was the first mess that happened, and like he's being like He's throw He's slamming things around already, and like he's He had a beer thing, and he slammed that case of beer down on the table to begin with. Was already like threw his hat took his hat off and slammed it on the table. Like he was already He was just being like kiddish. You know what I mean? Like when a kid's mad, and they're just slamming everything around, and um So, he already started doing that, and he knocked over her cup of milk, and I Of course, I commented on it. So, I just said I just All I said was, "Yeah, awesome. Thank you." >> Mhm. One of the things we were arguing about when he was here was we've broken up one other time before this, which should have been the last freaking time, but that's not the point. So, that was one of the things that got brought up when he was here. Um uh with all this, you know, and um it was something to do like I said, it was something to do with things that I did when we weren't together and things that he did when we weren't together and I called him a liar and he called me a [ __ ] and then it was just escalated from there. Uh I He says that one of the biggest things I do that pisses him off is when I just do like when I'm done with the conversation and I'm just kind of checked out of it and I just I just say like, "Shh, okay." You know what I mean? Like just like that. "Shh, okay." Cuz I'm done talking about it. I did that. That's what set it off. I joke you not. >> Here in the >> Done. That was it. I went, "Psh, okay." And then all of a sudden it was just That's what set that off. 15:34. Can you guys wait like 5 minutes? He's standing over there. Um I was standing literally right here where I'm standing. He literally just grabbed the edge of the table, flipped it just like that. Took the um Took Took the the leg the arm of the chair and turned it onto the leg of the chair, and that's what he broke everything else with was the leg of the table. The chair, sorry. The leg of the table. Broke it off. Um And broke everything else with it. And um I can't remember if it was before that or after that when he started coming at me. I think it was before, right after he flipped the table. I can't remember. I can't remember if it was before or after. Either way, either way he started coming towards me and I put my hands up like this and I pushed him away. >> [snorts] >> Because he literally I I mean I know the look. It's I mean his there was his eyes were literally just freaking gone. Like he was I mean he was to the point of I don't even know what you call it, but Either way, yeah, he came at me. I went like this, told him get the hell away from me. He picked me up. I was probably I don't know, I backed up a little bit, so I was probably right here. He picked me up by like one side one hand was like on my shirt and the other hand was like on my pants. Um and he like picked me up and like just like this, you know, and like set my back down on top of the counter >> Mhm. >> and drug me across the counter just like not very far, like that. >> Mhm. >> just let me go. So then I, you know, I I I caught myself. I didn't fall, but I fell and then caught myself. Um and it was it was before because of that I now I remember. He did that and then I told him to get the [ __ ] out, leave me the hell alone. You're being crazy. I'm calling 911. And I've never said that before, so like that probably made him even more mad. >> That was before the table. >> Yes. I said I was calling I was on the phone with 911 before the table. It was right after cuz I I Yeah, I remember now that it was cuz I remember seeing him pick up the leg of the chair after he drug me across the counter. So he drug me across the counter. I said you're you're crazy. I'm calling 911. He came over, picked up the leg of the chair I mean the leg of the table. I freaking like was trying to He was standing right here for a little while and he picked that up. So what the hell am I going to think like >> What did he pick up that? The leg? >> Uh well, was not that one cuz that one still connected to me. >> Wait, he picked up the >> That's this this right here. >> Uh-huh. >> Pick that up. What am I going to think if he picks that up after he just drug me across the cat like I don't know. You know what I mean? >> Okay, hold on. Hold on. Okay, hold on. I'm so sorry. So, he picked you up after he broke the table or before? >> He picked me up before he broke the table. >> Before the table. >> Cuz then I remember I fell and I landed on the ground. I was standing I was like over here. >> Okay. >> And then that's when he picked that up. He was standing like right here for a while. So, like I had nowhere to go. Like I couldn't unless I went across the table, you know what I mean? So, like I was kind of standing here for a little bit like trying to figure out a way to get around him because I wasn't sure where he was going to be swinging that. >> He had that in his hand? >> That, yes, that was in his hand. >> Did he have it here? Did he have it here? Does that make sense? Am I Am I holding it here or am I holding it up here? >> He was hitting the chair with it. Um, he picked it up. I don't know. He picked it up like this. Picked it up from right here. >> Uh-huh. >> Swung it over and then that's when he That's when I made it past him is because he came over here. That chair was where it is right now. >> Uh-huh. >> He came over there. >> Did you Since you didn't have anywhere to go, did you think that he was going to come at you with the >> I had no idea. I wouldn't I mean Do I really think so at the end of the day? Probably not, but when he gets that mad, he just sees red. I mean he's He has a reputation for it. He always has. Like beat the [ __ ] out of some people like high school I'm talking, but like >> But you know him to be explosive like that, I guess. >> Oh, yeah. >> Okay, yeah. >> Fight frequently. So, like I don't know. If I've never seen him that It's never been this bad. Like he's broke things. He's shattered glass. Like he's But it's never >> I'm so sorry. It's It's the It's the my hand. Okay. Um, he broke the chair leg and was breaking things with it because you had told him that you were going to call the cops that you were going to call 911. That set him off. What happened after that? >> Uh well, I I will say I don't really think they caught me saying cuz he was already trying to pick it up before I said I'm going to call 911. So, it would have happened either way. I mean, he would have broke everything whether I said I was going to call 911 or not. I don't really think that's that was the reason, but I just so you know that. But So, he did that. That's I got by him when he went over to start breaking that chair. I ran past him. Said it a couple more times that I was calling 911, calling 911. Ran into my room. Grabbed my phone cuz my phone was on my bed. Uh he was in here still doing that. I just told Siri to call 911. You know, and then it called anyway. It called Crisis Dispatch, but then I heard him stop in here and I heard him grab the phone in here. So, I was in my room. I looked down the hall like this and I saw him about where you are coming coming this way. I mean, he's not walking slowly. So, I mean, then again, what the hell do I think? I don't know what he's going to come [ __ ] do. So, I instantly ran into the bathroom because I was had my phone up to my ear. Like, for all I know, he's going to come break my phone. He's done that before. Like So, I ran in the bathroom. Uh go to close the door, but then I realized he didn't come towards me. I kind of like left I went to close it like this, but then I saw him come this way towards my like nightstand. So, I left it open a little bit and he literally just came in here to only didn't say a word except to come in here lift my bed over and then hit my nights or my uh lamp off of my nightstand and left. That was literally it. He didn't say a word. Nothing. >> What's 15? >> Obviously don't. It's literally been sitting in his mom's storage for forever. I'm pretty sure >> But he gifted it to you guys to live here, correct? >> Yeah, she Yeah, it was just in her storage. So, cuz I mean he lived here. >> Right, but he left >> that 2 weeks ago. Yeah, >> He no longer have keys or anything like that. >> he doesn't have a key. Uh and that's just works out perfect. I wish he wasn't anymore, but we're signing a new lease Monday. He's technically still on the lease. >> And >> But our landlord knows that he no longer lives here. I don't know about you know. >> I mean I don't >> I won't know until I flip it. I don't think it's broken. These things are just sitting inside of slats. >> Do you mind if I turn on the light? >> See? It is It doesn't look like it. It's like all these all these things >> Mhm. >> You know, it's a built-in like box spring type thing. So, they just sit inside of slats. >> No, that's fine. What about the >> the lamp? >> I had this since I was like 12. But it doesn't matter. >> How much do you think it is? >> 10. Now, $10. Like I don't know. It doesn't matter. I really don't. >> Give me just just I know it's a table and I know it's your or it's the mom's >> wood. >> So, I mean both the chairs and the tables are solid wood as you can see. So, I don't know. What what 200 bucks? 300 bucks now? >> there. We'll do that. All righty, I'm going to And you don't have any markings on you or anything like that. Have you checked yourself? Yeah, I don't know if he grabbed my arm >> Mhm. >> because like he my shirt's too loose. Like he hit my pants are too loose. Like that can't be me up. You know what I mean? Like It felt like it was like this, but I don't think it was. I think it was more like he grabbed my arm and my side or I don't know. It's I don't know how he you know how he grabbed me. Yeah, like >> Okay, well, I'm going to run you through everything. Kind of quick, not very detailed. Um so, he came here you guys been separated. You guys been together for 8 years. >> Mhm. Um, you guys been having issues, kind of back and forth, but you guys recently separated about 2 weeks ago. Um, he came over here to see the baby because he hasn't. Everything was fine, you guys had dinner, you guys everything was >> Everything was great, wasn't >> Everything was great. She went to bed and you asked about the conversation because he had implied that he wanted to talk. He said that he was tired, um, and he left. >> Left. >> You texted him and you were kind of like, "Hey, what's going on? Are we going to talk about it? Like we said that we're going >> I didn't know that that night but I was still I wasn't mean. I just said like But to tell you the truth, I think it's kind of BS. Like you told me we said we're going to be civil but like if something's annoying you that we need to talk about because it's I already know I know the pattern. Because if something pisses if he's thinking about something that's pissing him off, it's going to screw everything up. Like it's a cycle. I already know how it goes. I know him like >> Okay. >> like I'm I mean like I said, I'm not admitting that I was mean. I mean I wasn't mean but I did text him and say like it's BS, you know, we should talk about this, something's pissing you off because then it's just going to be stuck in the air, whatever, and then that just leads to a whole argument and >> Oh. >> it just went from there >> Uh, that he was tired of your games and that he was coming over already he's already screaming over the phone and being >> Oh, he was like it the phone was cutting out. He was screaming so like he was he must have still been in his truck. I'm sure he went back to his mom's or he just parked somewhere on the way there. I don't know. And I heard like dinging in the background like a vehicle, you know, so he must he was still in his truck the whole time I was talking. But yeah, so then he just yeah, he left. >> So, um, that happens. He comes over. You can hear the vehicle and everything. I know I'm not being super detailed but it's yeah. Uh, he comes over. He's in You can hear the vehicle. You can hear that he's aggravated. He starts pounding on the door for about a minute. Finally, you come to the door and tell him hey, no. He I hate saying that in front of her. She You can hear that he's kind of walking towards the back as you hear him in the gates and everything. So, you could You were able to tell he pounds on that back door, nothing. Then he goes to the other one and that's how he makes entrance. Doesn't have keys or anything. He just makes himself welcome. So, at that point you're in that room. >> Well, and I told him like it's not like he I haven't told him before either. I mean, we've we've been Yeah, okay, baby. We've been fine like things have been fine since we've been broke up. I told like he lived here. It's his daughter. Like we were fine before this. Like things have been civil. So, I've told him you don't have to knock. You could just come in. I have told him that. I mean, I didn't tell him to leave at this I don't even know if he was standing here when I told him to leave. To be fair to you though, I will say that. I mean, I don't know if he was standing there cuz like I said, the pounding stopped right as I said leave and he moved I mean, he had to have ran >> Right. >> from here to that back door cuz he got there so quickly. And then yes, he came in and Yeah. >> That happens, you look out the at the little hallway. You're in the um he starts slamming things. He already had the beer in his hand. You're in the corner and he starts moving the tables and the chairs because he's telling you that basically like he wants to create distance so he can't get a hold of you. Um and you're still Yeah, or you're still over there. So, then you kind of >> Oh, okay, baby. >> You kind of said about all the conversation you're done. So, you tell him okay, so that sets him off. So, he goes and grabs you, picks you up, does the whole counter thing, drags you a little bit, goes back, grabs the table leg. He starts breaking things. He starts breaking things. At that point, I ran past him. You ran past him to the room. You're in here. You tell your phone to call 911. You see him coming at you because you're afraid. You don't know what he's going to do. You go into your restroom. And then you Did you see him or did you hear him? >> No, I saw him. I was standing in the doorway of the bathroom with the door >> him. He flipped the bed, threw the lamp, and left. >> Left. >> Okay. >> No words, no nothing. >> Already. Let me I need to go make a phone call. Okay, I'm going to tell you what happened. Um in the state of New Mexico, we are we do take action against crimes against household members. You are a household member because you guys obviously were together for so long. You guys were in an intimate relationship. Um so for that being said, I'm going to go talk to the district attorney see if I can arrest him right now. Um if not, I'm going to file for a warrant for his arrest and proceed with the appropriate charges. >> Does it have to be that? >> Yes. For the state of New Mexico, law enforcement will take action against crimes against household member. If you If that's something that you don't want, you can go to the district attorney's office and tell them basically tell them I don't want the charges. But right now this is That's what's going to happen. Okay. >> Put that on your bed. >> Okay. >> It's not that I don't want the It's not that. The biggest thing is I just want there to be a reason. Like there's never been I have my own stuff. Like I have pictures and videos of >> Right. >> you know. And but there's I have my own stuff. Like there's I've never called the cops. I've never Like I And I just And I already know like this is going to go so downhill. And that's why I've never wanted to do it because like it's going to just I'm going to be the bad guy now. And I'm just like everybody's going to be against me and >> Go ahead. >> You know what I mean? And I just I didn't want this to be a big thing with him. And like >> 15. >> I mean I love him like there's no, you know, like it It sounds stupid. But like I don't want to be with him, but I love him. But I just didn't want anything like this to happen. But I also want there to be a significant reason. So everybody Oh, it's okay. >> I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. What? right. Bye. Okay, let me go make this call um and I'll go from there. I'll tell you if we arrest him or not and then we'll go through the whole thing, okay? Hey, can you tell me anything of like >> No, never mind. I was going to ask you >> what's going on over there? Like I don't know. >> Right now they have him basically placed under citizen's detention, which means that he's in cuffs, that he's not free to leave because he was involved in a crime and I'm to determine if he's going to be arrested, but because of the time frame I want to make sure that I communicate with my with the attorneys to make sure that it's good. If it's not, he'll be let go, but I will still file the the warrant for his arrest, okay? >> Sheriff's office. My name's Deputy Medina. >> Okay. >> Is Norman here? >> I don't know. When I went to bed, he was in his truck. >> Okay. So, do you mind if Well, we need to talk to him about something, okay? Um would you mind asking him if he can come outside? >> Yeah, let me go see if he's there. >> You want us to come in with you? >> I'll go by myself. >> What's up, man? How's it going? >> You guys like banging on windows at night? >> Yeah. >> Good? >> No, I'm totally good. >> All right. >> You don't need to show up to my mom's place banging on the door. >> actually need to be here. What's going on here? >> We do. You don't This isn't This isn't my mom This isn't my place. >> Then who's is it? >> This is my mom's place. You don't need to show up banging on her window. >> Actually, we do. We got a call about >> body me. You don't got to body me. >> Body you? What do you mean? >> You don't got to walk up and body me. >> Well, you're walking up on me. >> I didn't walk up on you. The hell >> Are you okay? >> The hell >> All right, hold up. Hold up. >> Hey Norman, look All right, brother. So, let me tell you a little bit of what's going on, okay? So, we got called over to So, we got called over there. Okay, she told us a little bit about what had happened. Okay, she told us that you were driving this red truck. >> Indeed. >> Okay, and then she told us that you would be probably coming here and that's why we came here. >> Got it. Yes, sir. >> Okay, so that's the only reason why we showed up to your mom's place. Okay, so the next couple of questions, I guess tell me a little bit about what happened, bro. >> So, I used to live there. Just for clarification, I stayed there. Used to live there, thank you. Used to stay there and live there. So, like I don't know that I'm technically off the lease yet. They don't know that happened. Like something like 2 weeks ago. But, uh I went over there to have a conversation with her and honestly there's nothing I can tell you guys that's going to save >> 51 9917793 >> Nothing I'm going to say to not save myself, but be like, "Oh, you don't get it." No. No. No. Nobody else needs to be involved. No accessories, none of that. Go inside, please. Come. >> Well, I want to know why you guys were banging on my window. >> It's fine. I'll talk to you in Anyway. Uh I was going to say, yeah, I used to live there. I went over there uh earlier to see my daughter. It was like 5:00. It was like 6:30, something like that. So, I went saw my daughter for a little bit and then she kind of started a little bit of a altercation, so I decided to leave. And then she calls me, texts me with all this argument, whatever. So, I was like, "Oh, go over there and talk to him." So, I go over there to to talk to her. At first, you know, calm, calm, whatever. And then it's just that I mean, this is the part where it's like it doesn't matter what I say, but the pushing, pushing, pushing, pushing, pushing, pushing. And I had enough. And at the end of the day, my table, my bed frame, my bed, my couch, that's all my things. All right? >> Okay. >> If you want to leave, you can. I don't think I need to. If I mean if I'm wrong, let me know. If there's That's all That's it. That's all That's all that happened. I mean if there's any more information, let me know that you need. I mean >> Okay. So, at any time, um what's your ex or girlfriend, or I don't know your guys' situation. What's her name? >> Cameron. >> Camry? >> Cameron. >> Cameron. Okay. At any time did you put hands on Cameron? >> Uh Define putting hands on someone. >> Did you, you know, put her against the wall? Did you pick her up against the wall? Put her down? No. >> I did not. >> Okay. You didn't hit her. >> No, sir. >> Did you slap her? >> No. No, I did not. >> Push her? Shove her? >> No pushing. No shoving. >> Okay. >> I did My hands did make contact with her. >> Okay. >> I will admit that. The The fact of shoving never happened. >> Okay. >> I did not mean to inflict pain on her. >> Okay. >> But what I did do was she had a can in her hand, and she smacked me in the face with it. I mean, there's >> I can I can see that. >> here. off of me. >> Okay. >> So, I didn't I didn't feel like I pushed her. I didn't feel like I grabbed her in any way. I get off of me. >> Okay. >> Right? >> It was more Okay. So, here's the next thing that's going to go on, right? Um you saying that, you know, she hit you in the can with the head. Um seeing the damages over there. Where We have more deputies over there, and we're just trying to figure out what's going on, right? Get the Get the true story of what happened. Okay. So, right now, I'm going to place you in something that's called investigative detention. >> Got it. >> Okay. So, it doesn't mean you're under arrest, okay? I am going to put handcuffs. I'll put them in front. You're being chill with me. Go ahead. Like I said, right? Investigative detention. Doesn't mean that you're under arrest at at any point, okay? Um pretty much it's just It's something that we do when we hold people to figure out the whole story, right? Cuz we got to call these guys. >> So, I'm not >> Yeah. >> Yeah. So, >> Um like I said, another thing too, you're being chill with me dude, you've been talking to me chill the whole time. I'm willing to put the handcuffs in front of you if you remain chill with me. >> Yeah, no, I'm totally I'm cool with that. >> All righty. >> I have question like >> Yes, ma'am. >> Did guys bust my fence? >> No, it was open. >> Officer uh >> What's on my foot? >> Apologize for my my uh whatever >> I'm going to just double check in there. I'm going to just double check Completely don't get tired of this. >> If you guys busted through >> No, no, no. >> All right, brother. Let's go ahead and come over here. We'll just have a seat back here for now. >> And then you're good. >> You have any weapons on you, brother? >> All right, gentlemen. I don't think I have anything actually. It's just what I've got on. >> All righty, perfect. What was that, ma'am? Okay, so like I explained to Norman, right? Right now he's not placed under arrest. He's in something called investigative detention. Okay, so the initial call, right? It was over there at wherever place they're at. Um, we got the call of, you know, a domestic going on. So right now the reason he's placed in investigative detention is just to figure out and hold him while we figure out what's going on in the whole side of the story. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> going to be placed in handcuffs and set in the back of a car, too? >> I don't think so because she's the only one there. And >> The baby's there. Okay. Like I said, right now he's not under arrest. Okay? It's It's just until we we can figure out everything from them to see what's going on. And then, you know, I got to tell them what he told me, tell them everything that's going on, and then we'll pretty much come to pretty much Yeah, pretty much come to a conclusion between myself and the other deputies. Okay? All righty, so sit tight. Let me call one of the deputies that's over there. I'm sorry, dude. Okay, so you said that um she was kind of pushing you, pushing you or like >> mean physically. I mean like pushing my buttons. >> Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> And then after that um why did she Were you Did you have hands on her whenever she hit you in the head with the can? >> No, so I I had the table and I pulled it um into the door into like the entryway of like the the threshold, I should say, of the kitchen and the living room because I told her for that reason that I didn't want any kind of this. I didn't want her saying I put my hands on her. And so I flipped the table and that's when she took the can and I don't know what can it was and smacked me in the side of the head with it. >> Okay, and that's what your your >> I believe so. I I mean I I can't think of any other reason it'd be there. >> Okay. >> it it it's fresh. It happened tonight, so. >> Okay, so in the meantime um would you like an ambulance? >> No, I'm good. >> Okay. All right, brother. All right, sit tight. All right. Pretty much like I told you, right? So the whole investigative detention thing on our end >> So he's just going to sit there until you guys decide who's telling the truth? >> Pretty much. Unfortunately, that's just how it goes. Um like I've already called my corporal on the radio to see if you know I could give her a phone call and at this time we're just waiting until she's ready to see what she gathered from that house. I've gathered, you know, his statement. I'm going to tell her what he told me. She's going to tell me what she told her. Um there might be a little bit more questioning on both sides, but after that it's just kind of a a wait until she's ready, which she should be cuz she's been there for a little bit. So she may be photographing um doing some other stuff. >> You're going to need to press charges on this girl. She's going to keep doing this [ __ ] to you till you're in jail. It's not the first time this has happened she's attacked him and he's just like stop. It's not the first >> Okay. >> So he had to fix that bed where it wasn't going to fall over. >> Okay, so I was just able to communicate with my other deputies and he told the other deputy that you broke a bottle on his head. Did you do that? >> No, I did not. >> Okay. >> No. >> Um what bottle? >> He said that he didn't know what, but that you did hit him in the head with the bottle >> No. >> or something. Okay. >> I told you I hit it I mean I pushed it I went like that to him. >> Right. >> So No, if I did I I I may have hit his head with my hand when I went like this. >> And that's the only time that you hit him. Okay. Um when when you were in the kitchen, did you feel like you couldn't leave? I know you had >> I I literally I mean if unless I went out the sliding glass door, yeah, sure if I went out the sliding glass door, yeah. >> And what about when he had you over here in the corner? >> That's You mean Yeah, but the >> When he Let me show you cuz my words are all over the I'm all over the place. >> I mean cuz the table was right I literally couldn't unless I moved the table and he was standing right here. >> And what about when you were over there? >> Uh well, yeah, I mean he flipped the table and instantly went towards me. But you see where this is, it's been the same spot this whole time. So he was standing here. I had nowhere to go. I mean I He went like this and then instantly came I was standing right here. Instantly came towards me like this. You know, where my I didn't have anywhere to go. >> Were you able to leave right away? Or no? >> No, I mean it was instant. I mean there was no there was there was nothing I could do. Like I don't >> So what do you Okay, so he flipped the table and then came at you, right? >> Yes. >> Excuse me. So after that moment when he picked you up and and you fell. >> Mhm. >> Were you able to leave right away to go to your room? >> I mean it was pretty instant I mean it was probably 8 seconds after cuz he came like I said he did that instantly turned around came this way picked this up. It was like you know what I mean it wasn't something slow it was quick. Came over here picked this up. And then that's when he went over there to do that and that's when I went you know what I mean. If if he was still standing right here no I wouldn't have gotten around him. Cuz he was standing right here. The table was here. I mean like I said I Do I feel like I could have left? No. Not until he moved. That's when I that's that's what I was waiting for was for him to That's for me to go through because as of him standing here I mean I'm saying like I'm you know I'm barefoot I'm whatever. >> Mhm. >> Clothes are underneath you. Ew. Ew get it. No I have I have no idea. I mean but look at the amount of wood he broke too. Like I don't know. >> Okay. >> But I mean I can tell you if I hit him if I hit him in the there was no it was open handed. There was no I stuck my hands up like this. And pushed him away from me when he started coming at me I stuck my hands up like this and I went like that. I mean it was no I wasn't looking where I was pushing him away from me. I could have hit him in the head I'm not saying I didn't at all. But would I have would I have cut him in any sort of way possible? Absolutely not. I have no nails like my pinky nail. You know what I mean? >> And I already looked that's why I have you to do all these things. No I'm just asking. I just want to make sure that I have everything. >> There's no way I would have cut him. >> Cameron do you have a New Mexico driver's license? >> I do yeah. >> Okay. >> It's in my car. >> I know that's fine I just want to make sure that I have it. All right he is going to be placed under arrest. With that being said I am going to leave. If you have any questions please contact me. >> His family? >> Yes they want to Yeah. >> Was his mom causing some legal >> I don't know, but he's under arrest right now, so I just want to get him to the office and resolve all of that. Okay? If you have any questions, feel you free to call. Um >> I just don't like don't know the process, you know, like I don't know what >> So, this is what's going to happen. So, he's going to go under He's going to be arrested right now. Um he's going to get arranged. He's going to see a judge and he'll deal with his um >> to be like in jail >> Until he sees a judge? >> Yeah. >> Correct. Um I don't know what day is today. It could be tomorrow, it could be the day after that. I really don't know. Um but they do arrange a judge or a hearing within so many hours, okay? Um from there, you're also going to receive, when the time comes, you're going to receive a subpoena in the in the >> in the >> in the mail and it's going to be an appearance for you to show up to court because without you, I don't have a case. Uh you are my victim. Um and you guys go from there. You guys go from to court. Um you're going to you're probably going to receive a call from the victi- victims advocate ad- Oh my god. Advocate. Um >> Is your mouth dry? My I probably >> Mine is dry. I My first language is No, my first language is Spanish. I have everyone calling me everything. It's just a mess. But, um with that being said, I'm going to head out of there out of here. If you need anything, again, call us, okay? All righty. I'm sorry. I know it's a lot. >> But, it's just like that's what I didn't I didn't know like I don't want to like ruin his life. I never wanted to At the same time, this keeps happening. >> Right. And this is this is These are his his actions. It's just him being accountable for what he did. I mean, it's not >> Well, that's the thing is like then I cuz like that's just how I am. I'm going to take this as in and everybody else's. I mean, his whole family is I love his whole family. His whole family loves me. Like we've all been super great, but then it's going to be like you know, I'm going to be the bad guy. >> Right. >> Maybe not his dad because his dad was a cop, so like he gets it. You know what I mean? But like to everybody else it's going to be, you know, I'm going to be the bad guy except and like I'm going to feel bad. That's the thing. And like why should I feel bad because like I didn't make him do this. I didn't. >> Well, it seems like I really don't have to tell you much cuz you already >> that's still I know that, but then I don't at the same time, you know, like I tell my I can tell myself that, but it doesn't mean that's what I believe. >> And sometimes it's going to cause more issues. I'm not It's It's That's something that's bound to happen. But the other thing is did it happen for things to get better? Did it happen? Was this the last straw, you know? Um just day by day. I know it's Pardon my word, it's probably going to be a pain in the ass, but things happen and we just have to deal with them as they go, I guess. >> Then I got stuck cleaning up the [ __ ] mess. Like always. >> All righty, Cameron. I'm I'm going to head out, okay? >> Okay. >> Well, I'm sorry. And if you need anything, let us know, okay? All right. >> Thank you.
