So, something happens between you all as officers, we're mandated to report fresh charges from the state of Georgia. That's why I didn't sign the warrants, none of them signed the warrants or anything like that. No, the officer did. That's why we do we do that. All right. >> Is it okay if I follow you guys? >> Well, even if you follow us, there's you probably won't be able to see her for a while because we got to drive around back into a gated part. They have to book her in and stuff. All right. >> Thank you. You can walk with me? >> You want me to put this in the front seat? >> Yes, please. >> I can walk. I'm so terrified. Okay. >> Are you pretty sure? >> Yes, I promise you. >> You're good? >> Guys, one more thing. I'm I'm just so scared cuz I've never been arrested. I don't know what type of process I'm about to go through today. I'm not >> They're just going to They'll book you in at the jail and then you got to you'll I don't know when you'll be able to talk to the judge, but that's what the judge wants to talk to you. That's why we're taking you in. Got it? >> we're going to be in the night and day? >> I don't I don't know. I don't know how long this will be. >> I can't do >> They can tell you better at the jail than we can. >> Okay. >> We'll ask when we get to the jail, okay? >> All right. >> Thank you. She's all good to go. >> Okay. You good to go? >> Yeah, yeah. >> You tell her to go so we can get the traffic moving. >> If you don't mind going now so we can get traffic moving and I appreciate that, ma'am. >> Yeah. I'll open this up for you. Okay. >> Thank you so much. I can breathe better. >> So just so you know >> Yes, ma'am. >> Um so when I run your tag >> Yes, ma'am. >> Hold on, I just got to tell Central that we're on the way. >> You run my tags and what >> 887 >> Yes, ma'am. You run my tags >> Okay, so I ran your tag, right? You're the registered owner. >> Yes. >> So I I see red and purple and that usually means there's something up with it, okay? I click your name. It says wanted person, misdemeanor offense of simple battery, family violence times three, misdemeanor of offense of obstruction of law enforcement officer out of Clark County. That's all I know. It's all I see. So Uh your purse is right here. I can't give it to you cuz that's just a a safe. >> So that's >> And what? It's >> Jail's cool. People that work there are cool. So, do you know what these warrants are all about? >> Um >> You don't have to tell me. I'm just making conversation with you. >> So, why did you call back up? >> I have to. That is um policy is whenever we're out with people with warrants, we have to have back up. Cuz you never know uh who you're out with and if they have warrants. And especially yours is an obstruction of a law enforcement officer, so >> So, is this a warrant for my arrest in all of Georgia? Or just Athens? >> All I know is it says out of Clarke County. >> So, that means like I wouldn't be able to get arrested anywhere else except for here. >> I don't know. Maybe. I'm not 100% sure though. >> How old are you? >> How old am I? >> Is that a legal question or are you allowed to ask? >> No. Um I'm 23. And I actually >> You're really young. Oh my god. >> So, I haven't been a cop too long, but >> What's your major? >> What's your major in? Public health. >> You know, it's so scary. >> What you terrified about? >> Being like being up close and personal with someone. >> Mhm. >> So, I'm just going to be there with other people and What's going on or how does that work? >> Uh you're going to be with only girls. No, you won't be near any guys. Um Jail is usually pretty safe and if anything does happen, they have guards and they'll hop right on and help you out. Then they'll separate >> So, how did you all know what type of car I was driving or what type of car? >> No, I ran your So, I was at that light and I ran your tag. >> So, you ran your pulse tag? >> I run everyone's tag. >> How did you I go to vehicle and I run your tag. I'm not running tags cuz I'm with you right now. So if I'm not doing something. So cuz let's say I were to run the this tag right here, the car next to us. And it came back that the person in the car had warrants for murder or something. I got you in the car. I mean I can't stop it. So then I just let go let a murder go, you know? Uh I don't even know if it'll tell me that. Um it doesn't look like long, couple weeks ago. I guess something happened a couple weeks ago. Or some family members. I don't need the whole story. Um you can tell me if you want, but you'll have to talk to a judge about it anyway. All right. Yeah, you can get out. We're just going to go to that door right over there. Um occasionally. Well, you do have warrants, so there's a there's a reason. And it's you got those warrants. And family violence, I mean it's pretty serious, so. Uh three counts of family violence and obstruction of a law enforcement officer. >> Like the officer said, the suspect was booked for her warrants, which were three counts of simple battery family violence and obstruction of LEO.
