The Cain County State's attorney is reviewing the case. June 7, 2025. Orange County, Florida. Deputies responded to N. Ortman Drive for a man in crisis. The suspect attacked with a knife and tried to grab a deputy's gun. The officer is recovering. June 30, 2020, Antioch, California. A man threatened family members in a 911 call, then charged at officers on Osprey Drive with a knife. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No officers were injured. The Antioch Police Investigations Bureau and Contraosta District Attorney's Office are investigating. June 7, 2025, Orlando, Florida. A deputy checked a suspicious man behind a store on North Hayawasi Road. The 24year-old suspect attacked, punching the deputy. Two firearms fell from his bag and the deputy fired, striking him.
