On Wednesday, March 12th, 2025, a high-speed [music] chase occurred in James County, Georgia near Make It. The incident began when a deputy spotted [music] a vehicle swerving on Joycliffe Road. The driver later identified as Christopher Sergeant failed [music] to stop and fled, reaching high speeds on Grey Highway. During the chase, Sergeant threw a bag from the vehicle. The [music] pursuit ended when Sergeant became stuck behind a house on Crest View Terrace where he [music] and his passenger Kayla Zuraki were taken into custody after a [music] brief foot chase. So, this is the second police camera. Um, it's following the first one. And I wanted to add this perspective, too, just because it gets a better view of all the near misses that this chase had. And this guy was being really really reckless. And and you can see in the bottom left hand corner how fast the officers are driving. This is a very high-speed chase. Don't hug me. I made contact with this vehicle. Anybody get some strips for you know turns right on take you away. radio. Radio. No traffic. >> I'm sorry for my pass. >> I have spikes. >> I'm trying to get spikes out. still going towards the back. >> All right, I'm coming up. All right, I got spikes out at the White House on the right. Back to the original camera now and we're turning into the residential neighborhoods. So, this chase got really, really, really tricky. I rotate about where I'm at in case you come back. You guys exit. into a house. One around the back. You better get on the ground, [ __ ] You better GET ON THE GROUND, [ __ ] HEY, GET ON THE GROUND. Unfortunately, Officer Ransom left his body cam in his police squad car. So, this is all the footage we got of his body cam, the money shot, and we don't have it. Uh I have the case summary right here on my screen. And uh let's check out the what they found in the car. They found 15 pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes. 15. 15. These guys like to party. Uh, three bags, three more bags containing marijuana. A digital scale with for marijuana. Um, THC oil cartridge obviously. So, this is intent to sell. Let's read the charges here. Um, Christopher Sergeant, the driver, he was charged with felony fleeing an attempt to elude, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of a scheduled one controlled substance, possession of a scheduled three controlled substance, driving while license suspended, and additional traffic related citations. And then you have Kayla Zaraki position of marijuana with intent to distribute possession of schedule one controlled substance and possession of the schedule 3 controlled substance. So they're both getting busted for um possession with intent to sell and distribute. That is a big time crime. I'm guessing because he was driving, she's going to rat him out [laughter] and and take probation and send him off to jail. I actually know somebody who was in this very same situation. They didn't ch it wasn't a police chase or anything, but it was a couple and the woman ratted out. man. It was his car and he ended up going to jail for a while and she she got off with probation and like and and like nothing basically nothing happened to her. Um she had to spend a lot of money to get out. But yeah, that so that's probably what's going to happen with Kayla. Um thank you guys for watching.
