Okay. Anything else in the car that you want to tell me about? >> No. >> Okay. >> But why am I stepping out? >> So, we're going to search the vehicle now based on the odor that I'm getting and the fact that you had a bird blunt right there. >> You can't search my vehicle. >> I absolutely can and I am going to. So, I'm going to have you exit the car. >> You can't search the vehicle. Go ahead. >> I did nothing wrong, bro. >> What? >> What did he say? >> RTR. >> Oh, >> are you not wearing a bra? >> No. Okay, >> let's go get her in the back. >> That might be detected. >> What is that? Check that out. >> Am I going to jail >> right now? Yeah, you're going to jail for obstruction. I asked you something to get out of the car. I don't know who you're listening to, but you gave me bad advice. I didn't. >> Okay, get in the car. Get in the car. >> Can you please hear me out? >> Get in the car. Yeah, but soon. But >> can you see >> ski mask? >> I mean it's cold. So everybody >> exactly. Have we gone in the middle here yet? No. grind. Where's the grinder at? All right, let's keep that there. She was looking down. Have you checked under the seat just to make sure there's no weapon or anything there? >> There is more marijuana here under the seat. Little pieces. Seems I don't know what this is. >> What? Where? Where is it at? >> It's definitely one. >> I haven't gotten in the back seat yet. Can you just jiggle check on her to make sure she's 1074? >> It looks like it was an old trailer brake controller. >> Is she good? >> Yeah, she's just crying. >> Oh, well. >> All right. What did you find? Just so I know. the grinder. The living one underneath the sea >> all this [ __ ] for that. >> I don't I don't get this. Does this open? I don't think so. >> It's a what? >> It's a church. [Music] >> Oh, here he is. Welcome. did not resist. Y'all have no right to go in my truck. >> Just wait a minute. >> Y'all need to explain this to me. Why is she under? Y'all should have detained her. I know my rights. >> Okay, we don't need to explain anything to you. First of all, we don't have to. We don't have to tell you anything. >> I knew everything. >> But you're walking up on a traffic stop. I'm asking you politely. Give us a minute. We'll come talk to you. Okay. >> Y'all should have tang. >> I'm being nice right now, man. I'm just asking you. Just give us a minute. We'll come talk to you. Okay. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but you can't walk up on a traffic. stops yelling like that. >> Y'all said the great light was out. Why y'all didn't issue a ticket? She lived right here. She's on my insurance. >> Just Just give us a minute. All right. >> Okay. I'm going to give you a minute, but I I want proper answers. Yeah. And what's your badge number and your >> 1835 and it's Carter? But >> 1980 >> if you just give us a minute. >> I'm going talk to you. I'll wait. >> We'll talk to you. Okay. Thank you. I'll wait. I appreciate it. >> You can legally justify and explain everything cuz I heard everything and I haven't recorded on the phone. >> That's fine. Yeah. We're also recording everything. >> Y'all body came. >> Yeah, we're recording everything. Well, also you might want to get your transmission checked out after this. >> Well, he obviously doesn't know Pennsylvania vims. >> I don't think he does. >> That uh he says that we can order anyone out of a vehicle for officer safety purposes and they don't have the right to refuse. >> All right. What What do you got? >> Uh I have to check. >> Yeah, I'm going to put the scale back cuz we don't have anything to go with it. Yeah, I have to open this and check it. I don't know where it could have been. This is like a bait, bro. Empty thing for a bait. >> For what? It's a traffic stop. For what? You said a break. How is all a sudden you need a license? Good, the insurance good. All say you need to search the car. Stop playing. Stop playing. It's a traffic stop. So, I need them to justify this. And I want to roll back the the body camera, you feel me? And I'mma put the lawyer on the situation. I'm not playing. I work. I'mma drop the money. I'm not playing. Y'all got the wrong one. Y'all should have detained her, which y'all should have did instead of pulling her out. Y'all Y'all don't unlock no and pull her out. Come on. Y'all just violated her right, bro. Know all that means playing with me, bro. tripping. I'm taking a break about this. Taking out my money and our spin. Y'all is tripping, bro. I need y'all to really explain this after y'all search my truck and not find >> Do you want me to explain it to you? >> Give me my keys. >> Do you want me to explain it to you? >> Huh? >> Do you seriously? Do you want me to 1650 >> 1650 Hughes? Okay. She was stopped for traffic violation. She had weed in the car. That gives us the right to search the car. Also, Supreme Court case Pennsylvania vms gives us the right to remove anyone from a vehicle for officer safety purposes. You cannot refuse. if you refuse its obstruction. Okay. So, Supreme Court case says we're allowed to do that. And there was weed in the car. That's why the car is being searched. >> Explain that to her because I heard her asking you and you didn't explain that to her. What y'all >> I wasn't here for the traffic stop. I'm just explaining to you what I was told when I got here by the officers. >> The body camera for the show. They proceeded to unlock the truck instead of explain it to her. Someone who unknownly don't know the law. You hear me? What I was told uh was that she was on the phone with you and they asked her to step out because there was marijuana in the car and you told her on the phone no >> they ain't say nothing about marijuana. They >> they didn't say nothing about >> Well, then she How did they not? Because she handed them the roach. She >> she handed them the blunt that she was smoking. She said they said, "Hey, you got weed in the car." She goes, "Here it is." And handed it to him. So obviously she was aware because she handed them the blunt. >> Okay, this is my thing. Why did they force you to take her out the car? >> Because she refused to get out on her own. because she refused to do that. Yep. That's obstruction. >> So they so they opened the cop and they took her eyes because she refused everything will play back on case law says we're allowed to do that. Pennsylvania vision >> case law says you're allowed to do that and then and by body camera will show everything. >> That's a lawsuit. Y'all do know that, right? >> That's fine, buddy. Do what you need to do. But yes, >> she's going to go for resisting. That's what she's going for. She's giving a civil citation. I'm not done. But you should have just listened. >> Perfect. >> Give me my keys when y'all get done. >> Okay. Well, we'll deal with that when we're done. But we're not done. >> Hurry up. >> You don't make the rules. >> You can wait. You might wait longer now. >> Are you okay back here? >> I don't know why you just didn't open the door. I really I really don't understand that whoever you were talking to gave you the worst advice in the world. >> This would have been it was this would have been a civil citation and that would have given you a warning for the for the tail light. You would have been out of here. >> I was talking to the other officer. I wasn't even listening to him because I know he's not he's not even relevant to >> But you were listening to him. So when when listen when I tried to open your door, you could you almost shut the door on my hand several times to where my partner felt it unsafe for you to no longer sit in that truck cuz we don't know what you were up to. You could have been grabbing a firearm. I didn't know what you were up to. All right. So right now, just so you're aware, you're going to jail for resist. Okay. What's that? Okay. >> Boyfriend's pissed. I just did my best to explain it to him, but I don't think he's still grasping what happened. So, >> what happened? Were you guys here? >> I wasn't, but they told me they pulled her over and she had weed in the car and then he was on the phone with her and they said, "You need to step out cuz there's weed in the car." And he told them told her to absolutely not get out of the car, which then led to them pulling her out of the car. >> Him and her. >> Yeah. >> Just you two of these. [Music] It's on camera. >> It's on camera. Everything is on camera. >> All I was trying to tell you was that you had no right. >> I absolutely had a right to search your vehicle. And I I explained to you why. And you you still acted that way. I don't know why you just didn't exit the vehicle. You You would We would have been done by now. >> You didn't give me the opportunity. Yes, I did, ma'am. >> Try some stuff in violate my >> That's That's not true. I I gave you every opportunity to get out of that car. You >> did not. >> I Okay, I'm not going to argue with you. All right, just hang tight for a minute. >> Okay. >> Yeah, that's her property. I just want to double check there's nothing else in there. What else? >> Okay, that's fine. >> Uh Matt, >> is this his truck? Is he >> I got I got documents. >> You got ID on you? >> What's your name, sir? >> Give me my [ __ ] >> Do you have your ID on you? >> Yeah. Right here. >> I appreciate it. Thank you. >> Appreciate it. >> I just want to make sure it's you. That's all. >> Yeah, it is. >> Cuz I can't just release a vehicle to anybody. Okay. All right, man. >> I'm the one who gave y'all the insurance. >> Okay. Yeah, I'm good. Yep. I'm ready to go. Thank you. >> All right. How we doing? >> Hey, does she want to keep our belongings? >> Uh, I can ask her right now. >> He's asking if you want to keep your belongings like your purse and your phone or do you want it to go with him? >> Give it to him, please. >> Okay. Who is he to you if you don't mind me asking? >> My friend. >> Your friend? >> My boyfriend. >> Your boyfriend. Okay. So, your wallet and your cell phone. You want them both to go with your >> Okay. All right. We'll give it to him then. Okay. >> Does she need what? Oh, >> do you need any phone numbers or or do you have them all memorized? >> Do Do you need any phone numbers? >> That would be my phone. >> What? What's that? You'll take your phone? >> Hey, she she'll keep her phone. >> Thank you. >> That's probably the best idea. All right, >> we're going to give you her wallet. She wants you to take her wallet. She's going to keep her phone so she can get numbers out of it. >> Who told y'all to go do her search? That's >> a violation. >> No, it's not. She had weed on her. We're allowed to search her and everything on her. >> You're making this take longer. These people are trying to leave. >> Just stay over there. Just stay over there. >> Yes, we can. She had weight on her. Yes, we can. >> That's That's why she got all these troll because you tell her don't get out of the car. >> It's your fault. Y'all don't do that. Y'all don't do that. Y'all don't do that. Y'all don't do that, bro. Y'all don't touch the person. >> Anyway, uh she wants him to keep this, right? >> Yes. >> No. Uh yes. I'm sorry. No more drugs. >> Put it on the truck. Don't touch me. Put it on the truck. Put it on truck. Put it on the truck. Just put it on truck. I don't want you to say I grab anything aggressive. Put on truck. Y'all already did your initial search. That's proof for you. It's true. So, I wish y'all would try. Proof. >> It's called search incident to arrest. You have no idea what you're talking about. I suggest you actually look up case law before you start trying to spit stuff out. Okay. >> Dictionary in my library. You have a what? >> All right. Act like you know something. >> Okay. All right. Your truck is free to leave though. You're allowed to take your truck now. >> Y'all can't follow me. I'm >> No, you're not. It's not about that. You're now you're now blocking people who are trying to leave. So, go ahead. Get in your truck and and leave the area, please. >> Just move the truck. >> I'll do what I want. >> Okay. Well, you made a big deal about getting the truck out of here. That's fine. Just do it out of people's way. >> Oh my god. >> The suspect was charged with resisting an officer without violence. The suspect was issued a $1,000 bond, which she later posted. In court, she initially pleaded not guilty and later amended her plea to no contest. She was ordered to pay a total of $373 in fines and court costs along with a $116 fine for improper taillights. However, she later failed to pay both fines and was issued a court notice. [Music]
