On May 18th, 2026, an officer was dispatched to a business in reference to a report of a woman verbally harassing another woman. >> Kick my lighter out of my hand. >> Who? >> That girl. >> Um, is that a knife? Can I take it pretty quick? >> Yes, of course. >> All right, listen. I'm just taking for for safety. All right. >> I know what she was on the phone and said, >> "What's going on? >> I'm sitting here doing pretty much nothing. Mhm. >> And she starts yelling at me. So I go to talk to her. >> Okay. >> And then I had a lighter, a white lighter in my hand. She kicked she kicked it out of my hand. And I'm like, "Hey, I'm a Lego. I live here. You don't get to just talk crap to me and think that that's okay. I've got work in the morning. I've got things to do. I'm just sitting by the st having a soda about to go get a coffee. >> All right. >> You know, and >> can you just sit down for me, please? Let us because I need to talk to her as well. >> She was and and it's all and I told her it was all on camera. >> Okay. And I told her I had a white lighter in my hand. >> Okay. >> And she kicked it. >> Okay. >> Kicked it. >> Okay. Have a safe. >> She kicked my hand. >> And it's a lighter for my cigarette. I mean, and as you saw, that was right there. >> I didn't pull it. I didn't do anything. But I was telling her straight out, hey, you can't just yell at people >> and think that that's okay because I live here. This is my home. >> Okay. >> I have to go to work in the morning. >> Where are you working? >> I I'm working privately on commission as a painter. >> Okay. >> How's it going? >> Hi. >> So, you want to just let me know? Can tell me what happened? >> I have my sister in the I just had to work. I work literally right here. This yellow building that you're looking at right here, Tropical Colors. >> I parked here. >> I sat on the hood of my car. I have my weed license. So, I was smoking. I will be honest. I was smoking. >> So, I guess it was bothering her. So, she started talking, but I'm on the phone with my sister. So, like I'm trying to focus on what I'm talking. I'm thinking this lady's on the phone right there. So, I'm not paying no mind at first, but then she starts saying the Hardy R. And she's like, "You fat [ __ ] You think you're so attractive sitting there on that car?" And I'm like, me and my sister looked at each other on the phone. I'm like, "She's talking to me. I don't know this lady. I just got a work. >> Yeah. >> Oh my god, I'm [ __ ] scared. And so she starts she pulled out a freaking pocket and she starts flick like you know like doing the little when you throw into the air and it starts doing little twirls and you start she start doing that. She kept talking stuff and she kept part of me calling it the hard yard and she's like this is my corner. You you're aing prostitute. You can't work here. And I'm like not a prostitute. Then I still didn't say nothing though. I was going to call my sister. Like I'm not going to say nothing cuz you don't know what she's obviously could be on some type of drug and >> you don't know what people like that could do to you when they're on something like that. You don't I don't know what she's on. So it's like >> So and then so she was just kind of saying that stuff and then you called us. >> No. And I I didn't get there. At first it was just her saying stuff and then she got close to the car. >> Oh god. >> That's when I got scared. So I stood on the the hood of my car and I kept telling her get the back. Get the back. And then she hears my sister on the phone saying get um my sister was saying so I can't even remember right now because my adrenaline when I saw the [ __ ] night I'd never had anybody do that to me in my life and I I was born and raised here. >> So how it all started? >> I was sitting there. >> Okay. >> She came over there started talking crap to me >> from like no reason. No, she just was like, um, she just started yelling at me this and I'm like, "Hey, it's on camera. You can't just do that >> and think it's okay." And I told her I told her, "Does that happen here or over there?" >> No, it's right here. I I wasn't over there. >> So, she just came to you for like notice and started yelling at you? >> No, she was across the street. >> Uhhuh. And I was like, you know, listen, I'm a local. I live here. >> You don't get to just yell at us. >> So, she just started yelling at you. >> Yeah, she did. >> Okay. So, listen. Uh, just stay here. So, Officer Kahill, that's his call. >> I know. I know you. >> Yeah. I'm just listening. So, >> I know a lot of you call us. This is not fair. I have to go to work in the morning. Nobody said nobody said you're in any trouble. Just stay right here. We're going to figure it out. All right. >> I'm telling her to get back. And when she put her hand too close to me, I was standing right here and she was literally my feet are right here. She's right here. And she's like yelling. My sister calling her a dyke cuz my sister looks a different way than other women. But whatever, doesn't matter. >> She's like, "That thing is a woman." And I guess you got a glimpse of my screen. And then she started saying, "Technology is so different. It's not like the 80s. Why are you hard ers are here right now? And I'm like I'm not >> like the n >> I'm not Yeah, like the n word hard er I'm like I'm not black ma'am. I'm white. What are you talking about? Like I was just so confused. What the hell was happening? And like I said I and I told her is this is all on camera. >> Mhm. >> And she kicked me. >> Kick you where? >> She kicked me in my hands. >> You have any have any injuries? >> No, I don't have any injuries. No. So why should >> I had a lighter in my hand to light my cigarette and she checked it and said it was a knife and I said that's not a knife. It's my lighter. It's a little itty bitty white lighter. It's still laying over there. >> So >> I mean I've lived here for 5 years. >> I understand. Mom, I'm trying to understand why she started yelling on you. >> Why she because she's a [ __ ] That's why. >> Okay. Sounds good to me. She was just a [ __ ] that thought she could bully somebody and then when she found out, she didn't like it very much. >> Mom, do you have your driver license with you? >> I do not. >> Why not? >> Because I'm working on getting one. >> Okay. >> My client right now is helping me to get my ID. >> Okay. Can you just tell him your name? What was your name? >> But I guess when she heard what my sister said, it pissed her off. Like she I don't know. Like I don't know if that was her name for real, but whatever the hell. When she said that, she literally tried to like come at me. So I kicked her freaking hand and her lighter went flying over there and then she went over there when she saw us calling the police finally and I started doing stuff and I thought she was trying to get rid of that pocket knife that she had. I don't know where the hell it's at. >> Okay. Did she flash that at you? >> Yes, she had it open. She was coming at me with that thing >> that was open. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um >> just got off work. I never had that happen to me down here. >> What? What? when when she had it open kind of what was she doing with it? Just holding it in her hand. >> Yeah, she was holding it in her hand. >> Did she make any statements like she was going to do anything with it? >> No, she was just saying um you keep talking [ __ ] you fat and stuff like that, but she wasn't like saying she was going to do something, but her body language was saying something completely different. >> She was aggressive towards you. >> How did it make you feel? >> I never had that happen down here. I'm going to raise her that never mouth. Never >> and I've been through all of the uh the knife. You said this this knife, right? >> Yeah. >> And you said it was open. >> It was open. I'm pretty sure. >> How she hold that knife. >> She just had it the handle in her hand like this normally. >> And the blade was open. >> Yeah. But before though, she was twirling it in the air though and she was playing with it and she was talking crazy to me. But I didn't think she was talking to me. I thought she was talking like on the phone cuz I don't I don't have my glasses on right now. I can't even see from afar. I can see that there's bags on my stuff, but I honestly my vision is horrible. But >> oh god, >> I didn't think to bring it today cuz I was just I only had 6 hours of work today. So >> how would it started? Because I heard your side of the story. >> I work You see this yellow building right here? Just clocked out like not even that long ago. I'm sitting on the hood of my car. I'm talking on the phone with my sister. I'm smoking, minding my own business. But so a homeless I'm going just say homeless person. So a homeless person sitting right there. But so I'm talking with my sister and I could probably call my sister back and she'll even tell you. But she starts calling me the hard er and saying, "Oh, you fat ass." Sitting there thinking you're so freaking attractive and just a bunch of crazy crap. I don't I don't >> Well, you didn't say anything to her. She just >> I was on the phone my sister. I had >> It happened right here, right? >> Yes. I was sitting in the hood of my car. >> Ma'am, you said you were on the phone with your sister, right? >> Yes. >> Can you call your sister? >> I don't know you. I'm officer Akubosski. Okay. I didn't have a contact with you yet. So now I do. Uh, so that's >> I mean I'm a local. I'm Walmart. >> Okay. So, what do you do for a living? You said >> I'm a painter. >> You're a painter. Okay. >> I've been making good money. I've been making $100 a day painting. >> Okay. >> But I was just sitting here and I'm up from AA and then she's she started yelling at me and I was like, who why would you do that? >> Put them on. >> So, hey, how's it going? >> Officer K. I don't think so. >> I just called the police department cuz I was on the phone with my sister and the lady approached her with a knife and her phone died. So, I called the police department. I'm live in Virginia. >> Okay. So, can you tell me kind of what what you heard like what you heard like what kind of what you heard >> from Oh, here I'll hold that. >> So, yeah, just what you heard um kind of go on with while you were on the phone with your sister. >> She might be old. Well, I was on the phone with her. This lady kept like cussing at her, calling her the n-word, calling her fat, calling her all the cuss words you could think of. And then she got up and approached my sister in the car. >> Okay. And your sister, where was she was in the car or >> she was sitting standing outside her car. >> Okay. >> The white car. >> All right. You can continue on. >> Yeah. And the lady approached her and kept like threatening her and I'm on the phone and she kept calling me like the dyke word and stuff like that. So I told my sister just to hang up and call the police. >> Okay. >> But then her phone was dying. So I went ahead and call the police myself. >> I just had >> Yeah. Okay. All right. >> What you want to do? Want to press charg? >> So I'm going to give you back to your sister. >> Yeah. That she should not be on. >> She wants to press char. >> Can I take a sister? >> I was going to call my sister and when I was first ignoring her. >> All right, Sherry. So, I'm going to read you something cuz I'm going to ask you some specific questions. Okay? >> So, you have the right to remain silent. >> Why would you arrest me? >> We have to read this. This isn't you going under arrest. I have to read this in order to ask you certain questions. Okay? So, >> you're not under arrest. >> What do you want to ask me, Kill? >> So, I'm going to read this to you and then I'm going to ask you those questions. Okay. So, >> what do you want to ask me, Kill? >> Well, I just need you to say yes or no. >> I don't have to do that. My question is what do you want to ask me? >> Well, do you wish to answer the questions after I read that? >> Ask you a specific question about same incident. >> The same incident. That's all. Just more specific. >> Of course, I'll answer your question. >> Okay, that's all I That's all I needed. That's it. Me reading that does not >> I'm very familiar with PBD. I don't know why you're harassing a local. >> What I want to ask what I want to ask is she's saying, >> not a local. She's stating that you had a pocketk knife that was open in your hand. >> It's on camera. She kicked my little itty bitty white lighter out of my hand. >> So, you didn't have a pocketk knife out in your hand at all? >> Not. Not at all. Absolutely. You want to review the footage of security cameras? >> No. No. That's why I'm asking you. >> I mean, this is this is what's being told to me. >> Get fruit. I'm just asking you that specific question. Why are you yelling at me?" >> I almost always sit in front of cameras on purpose just for this reason so that people can't lie. So, just so I'm clear, um you stood up on the you were sitting on the vehicle talking to your sister. >> This all started happening. She approached. You stood up. >> Um now, when you you said you kicked her hand and it knocked a lighter out of her hand. So, did she have a knife in her hand or the lighter in her hand? >> She literally had both in her hand, but at the same time. >> And where was her cigarette? >> She had in the other hand. >> But at no point you did you go into the middle of the street at all?
