How long ago were you drinking? >> Uh maybe like an hour ago. It really was not long ago. Like I just started drinking, but I know I should not have been driving. >> Okay. >> And I know that >> So, you think you're over the limit? >> Um yes, sir. >> Okay. >> Like I know I am and I just don't know. Like I really don't want to >> Okay. What were you drinking earlier? >> I was drinking tequila like I'm going to 100% honest with you like >> Okay, well, I appreciate that. >> tequila and like I just want to take me and my son home. Um, so we're going to run you through some tests to make sure you're good to drive, okay? >> Um, if I'm not, what happens? Just so I don't You know, I've never been through You know, I've never been through >> take it one step at a time, okay? >> Okay, yes, sir. >> All right. So we're going to go through a couple tests. Um, we're going to move over to that car over there, all right? >> sir. >> Can you walk over there? Are you good to walk? >> is my son okay in there? Cuz I don't >> So the officers are with him, I think. >> Okay, yes, sir. He's okay? >> He's getting checked out. >> Okay, yes, sir. Okay. >> All right. So walk over here. >> Yes, sir. >> Well, we'll get to this test here and then we'll go from there, okay? >> Yes, sir. >> Does that sound like a plan? >> like that's your guys' Probably call like everything like I understand like that's your job, right? I just I was sad when >> All right, Taylor. So can you face me? Go and put your right right in front of me. Stand right in front of me. >> Okay. >> Face me. On that line. Do you see that yellow line? >> Yellow line? This black one? >> It's a little faded. Right there. That yellow line. >> Okay, okay. >> Move towards me. Towards me. I'm I'm sorry, sir. >> So put your feet together. Arms out at your side. This first test is an eye test. I'm going to be going back and forth like this. Throughout the test, I want you to keep your head facing forward, your eyes following my finger throughout the whole test, okay? Do you understand those instructions? >> Yes, sir. >> All right. Keep your head straight. Keep moving it back and forth. >> Yeah, cuz I've been drinking. I told you guys I was drinking like I told you guys I was honest with you guys. >> appreciate you being honest. >> So why are you like telling me like oh, keep your head straight, but I told you I've been drinking. Like obviously I can't keep my head straight. >> Obviously I can >> Like I told you, sir. Like why are you doing this? >> Taylor. >> Like are you trying to make me fail? Like >> Taylor, I'm trying to help you >> Like, >> I'm trying, sir. Like, I just want to go home. >> Okay. Let me finish. So, this test is a walk and turn test, okay? Um so, I want you to place your left foot on that line. And then your right foot in front of that line touching heel to toe. Can Can you go back and stay in that position for me? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Perfect. >> Okay. >> So, left foot on that yellow line. Right foot in front of it just like this. Arms out at your side and hold that position. Can you hold that position for me, Taylor? Taylor. >> I'm I am holding it. I'm sorry. >> want you to go back there. >> I was like >> So, watch what I'm doing, Taylor. All right? I'm going to explain this to you again. Left foot on the line. Right foot in front of it heel to toe and stay in this position. >> I want you to stay in the position. >> Okay. Okay. So, that's what you mean, stay in the position. >> Yep. You're You keep going. I want you to stay in that position. >> you want me to stop? Say, "Stop." >> I don't want you to go at all. Can you go back? >> Okay. What the Like, you just told me to go. So, I don't know what you want me to do, sir. >> Left foot out. Right foot in front of that line. >> I did. Left foot, right foot. So, right Hold my right foot? That's what you're saying? >> I want you to hold this position that I have right now. >> Okay. So, here we go. There we go. I'm holding it. I stepped two foot like you just did and I'm holding it, sir. I don't know what you want me to do. Like, I just did exactly what you did. >> Taylor, do you see how my partner was just >> So, he just did one foot, two foot. So, that's what I [ __ ] did, like >> Listen. Listen for one second. See how he's standing right now? >> Left foot, Taylor. >> I did my left foot and right foot. Like, what are you guys firing at? LIKE, ARE YOU GUYS TRYING TO >> NO. HE'S TELLING you to stand in that position. >> Like, that's what I did. And I did this. Okay, there you go. There you go. I'm not walking. There you go. I'm not walking. >> Hold that left foot there. >> There you go. I'm holding it. Nothing's wrong, sir. Nothing's wrong. There you go. Everything's hollow, sir. >> And then place your right foot in front of that left foot, and stay there. Can you do it heel-to-toe? And hold that position with your arms down at the side, okay? Can you put your arms down for me, Taylor? All right, can you watch me? I'm going to explain the rest of the test for you. >> Yes, sir. >> All right. >> So, when I tell you to go I know, I know. I understand. I understand. So, can you watch me, Taylor? Is there anything that you don't understand about the test that you want me to re-explain for you? Okay. So, whenever you're ready, you can go ahead and start that test, okay? >> Can you just please give me a second, please? >> Perfect. All right, so we have one more test, okay? Shake out, get comfortable again. >> How am I supposed to get comfortable? How do you want me to get comfortable? >> Watch out. >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> I'm trying to help you out, okay? I know a lot of people get stiff when they're >> I do. I am I don't I don't want to say I don't like you guys cuz you guys do help me, but like I have bad runners. >> Yeah. Well, I'm just trying to do my job, okay, Taylor? >> Sir, it seemed like it. So, that's why I'm cooperating. It seemed like you're just trying to do your >> Yep. So, the last test, can you can you stand on this line for me? So, what you need to place your feet together like this, arms down at your side, okay? So, this is a one-leg stand test, okay? Um like I said earlier, you you had a knee surgery. >> Yeah, I had right knee surgery when I was 13 years old. I had MCL and ACL replacement. >> Okay. But but you don't have too many issues with that? >> Uh no, just my right knee. Um I haven't really seen too many problems with it since I started playing basketball. It's been like minor issues, so >> Okay. So, during this test, you're going to lift one leg 6 in above the ground. It doesn't matter what leg you use. So, you know I know you said you had the knee injury. >> this, right? >> Yep, 6 in above the ground, foot parallel with the ground, okay? >> Yes, sir. >> During the test, I want you to count out that loud in this manner. 1 1,000, 2 1,000, 3 1,000, 4 1,000, 5 1,000, and so on until I tell you to stop, okay? It's about a 30 It's a 30-second test, so >> Okay, but I'm going to tell you right now, I can't hold either of my legs for 3 seconds, so like >> Can you try for me? >> Yes, sir. I can only try it for like I said, you can do whatever like you want. Of course, I can try it like I just want to make an effort with you guys cuz like I don't want to like I don't want to lose my kid like nothing. I don't want to help like this wasn't my goal like >> you can take the test? >> Oh, yes, sir. Of course. >> So, I'm going to grab my stopwatch out quick and then >> 1 1,000, 2 1,000, 3 1,000 >> All right, I'll tell you when to start. >> Really? So, I don't know if we got to 5 1,000. >> You want to stand up? >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> Can you get closer here? >> I'm just talking with you, okay? >> All right, you can start whenever. >> 2 1,000, 3 1,000 I can't really like stand on either of my feet, though, so >> Okay. >> What do you guys want me to >> Do you want to keep trying? >> Uh no, can I try something else? Like is there something else cuz like yeah, I don't have the balance. Like I wear glasses and I don't even have them on. >> All right. Do we have PBTs at all? >> Like I already have my glasses on, but >> Taylor, can you go and turn around for me? >> Uh yes, sir. >> All right, you're going to be placed under arrest for DUI, all right? >> Okay. >> She did physically witness the abuse, so >> What is >> She has been uh trying to apply for jobs. She was going to She was supposed to go take a drug test today. Uh baby was just crying. Uh she was late for her drug test. She baby was crying for 2 hours straight.
