I'm assuming he came from that sidewalk on the right hand side and just literally just walks up and takes the bike. Take a picture of that while you got it right there. I haven't seen where he takes the bike and goes off that way going north, I think. [Music] >> All right. I appreciate it. Thank you. Yeah, >> that's a that's probably all I need. I just get a picture of him. >> It all started when a customer reported their new bike stolen from the entrance. So, what was your name again? >> Samuel. >> Samuel, where did you find all these checks? >> I I wasn't here then. I >> mean, I don't have a home. So, whenever I see something, I just I'm just concerned that somebody's always missing a lot of money. >> Yeah. How long ago has it been? >> It's been I don't know. It's been about weeks. Days? >> Days or weeks? I I just found it and I just kept it with him. Or is he going to tell me that there was >> How about you guys find out? >> A car broken into and this was stolen out of it or anything crazy? >> Let's do this. You guys find out and see if I'm really innocent or not. You guys find out. I'll leave it to you guys. All right. >> Fair enough. You don't have any family help looking for you or anything? >> All right. >> You sure? >> Yeah. >> All right. I can start taking this and putting in evidence and give you like an itemized list so you can just copy and paste it to your report. >> And then I'll at the same time try to send it to Ty and see if they'll get to this guy's house. >> Anthony is your room. We have a 911. He's got some money on $18. $18. >> Once in custody, investigators discovered the bike was only the beginning. Along with the stolen ride, Moslair was found with fraudulent checks, stolen IDs, and evidence of a larger fraud operation. He now faces charges of grand theft, two counts of unauthorized use of a driver's license, possession of another person's ID without authorization, organized scheme to defraud greater than $50,000. Musl remains in custody on an $18,000 bond. What began as a routine stolen bike report exposed a trail of fraud and stolen identities. Deputies say it's another reminder that even the smallest calls can lead to major arrests.
