Then, six dudes came up like surrounding me. And I was like, "You guys are all together?" And then, once the lady said, "Get out of here with that," we walked this way, and then it was two cars And so, I was like I was like, "You know what? I I really can't believe this." I was like, "You don't know what type of protection I have on me." He was like, "Oh, uh You better back the [ __ ] up before I slap the [ __ ] out of you." And I was like, "Well, I'm already calling the police." And I went to record it, and it was He already had a driver for waiting in the car. >> Got you. Do you have your ID on you? So, that he asked you He initially asked you for money? >> Yes, he asked me to help him with some money. >> Okay. >> He said he needed $100. And I said, "I don't have 100, but I can give you something of what I have. I just got off work." He's like, "You don't have a Cash App or a card?" I said, "No, I'm not going to go that far." By the time I put my head down, he snatched it out of my hand. I was like, "Where are you going?" And he was like, "Oh, don't worry about it. Don't worry about it." And I was like, "How are you going to steal money from me? You just asked me to help you with something." And I followed them out here. >> Okay. I know exactly how they look. >> When he When he took the money out of your hand, did he make threats to you or >> Yes, I As soon as I said, "Give me back my money. That's all I have. I just got off work. I'm getting some food to feed my kids." He's like, "You better back the [ __ ] up before I break your [ __ ] face." I was like, "You don't know if I have any type of protection on me." And he was like He was like, "You're you're going to do [ __ ] I promise you." I'll And he was like, "I got a burner and I will blow your [ __ ] face out." This male initially approached her back behind the scanning desk. He asked her for some cash. He asked her for $100. She said, "I'm not going to give you a hundred dollars." But she said she was willing to give him a little bit of money. She said as she was getting ready to reach in her purse to give him money, he reached in her purse, snatched a wad of cash out, and starts walking away. >> Were they playing a game, a card game, or anything like that? >> He said or I'm sorry, she did say something that he mentioned play like play the game like you got to play the game or something when he walked away. And then that's when I started getting loud and the lady that was working there told us to get out of here with all that loud stuff. Well, the lady that I told her that he was in there playing the game. The guys were right there at the Walmart. She followed him behind. So, she kept going. She kept playing. And all of a sudden she lost. >> Okay. >> So, he told me to write down specifically detailed what happened. >> Yeah, so just tell me the story how this came up and just tell me everything. Tell me exactly where you were in the store. And you get ready to to go. >> Okay. So, I was standing right where it says the Well, like the self-checkout, next to the batteries. >> Okay. >> I was checking my email cuz I initially walked in to make sure I had enough money on my card. So, I picked up some tangerines, went to self-checkout. Um made sure there was money on my card and then I pulled over to the side and started checking my email. Here, approaching me from the front, actually, so my head was down. And he was like, "Yo, what's up?" I was like, "That's what I was like, I'm kind of busy right now." He was like, "I kind of need help." And I was like, "Well, what do you need help with?" And then he was like, "On my trip." I was like, "What trip?" And he was like, "To get back home." I was like, "Where are you from?" And they never told me where they were where he was from. So, then I went Yeah. So, I was like, "Okay." He I I was like, "What do you need?" And then, he was like, "$100." And I was like, I was like, "I don't know. I I I could probably give you something." I was like, "I could give you something um towards it or whatever." So, then, I pulled out I pulled out um some money back. I'm trying to grab the 50 cuz this is how this is how I had the money in here. So, as I'm trying to, you know, I'm trying to keep it in my purse without showing him how much I had, and he ended up snatching >> Before we go any further, let's talk about this. She's worried about having enough money for groceries and stops to check her email balance, yet moments later, she supposedly has cash in her purse and is willing to hand a complete stranger $50. >> like, "What are you doing?" He was like, "We about to play a game." I was like, "What game?" He was like, "If you play the game, I'll give you all your money back." I was like, "I'm not playing no game." And then, that's when I said that, that's when three guys came up behind me and was like, "Um play the game, shorty. Play the game." But I was like, "No, I'm not playing no game." And he was like, "You play the game, I'll give you more than what I took from you." I said, "No, I don't want I said, "I don't want I don't want I need I need $2,000." I said, "I don't want $2,000. Can you just give me my $600?" So, the guy um that had the the uh the black T-shirt on with the dreads, he was like, um He was like, "We got it. We got it. Just play the game. We'll give back whatever. You don't want more? Why you want less? You don't want more?" I was like, "No, I I I just got off work. I came here to pick up stuff fishing stuff cuz I'm about to go home and cook." I was like, "Can you just please give back my money?" He was like, "No, you're not getting So, that's when the lady was like, um "Y'all go ahead on out of here." I said, "No, I said, "Give me back my money." Like, I'm not playing. He was like, He was like, "Show out if you want to, and I'll break your face." And I was like, "You're not going to do that." He said, "He was like, "I promise you I'll show you." He was like, "Come on, I'mma show you." I was like, "I promise you you're not." So, he was like, "All right, bet." So, he pulled up his hand, and then, him and the other three guys all started walking down here. So, I started following him. He was like, "You want to follow me? You want to follow me? I'mma I'mma show you." I was like, I was like, "Yeah, I'm going to follow you. I'm going to record you, and I'm going to call the police if you don't give me back my money." We got outside to that end down there, and then that's we went all the way outside. Yeah, we walked towards that. Cuz she told us to get out the way so but his car was already parked on this end that's why he walked back. So when I walked outside it was this lady in a in a gold car and she was like she seen us having a conversation and she was like don't do her like that. You already did just give her her money. Give her her money. So I was like what are you talking about? And then she he was like she's not she's not getting she keep walking away. I'm going to punch her in her I was like you're not going to do nothing. I said you don't know what type of protection I I have. You don't know who I am. You don't know who who child you're you're messing with. So he was like that and then when he stood like he stood tall put up his hands and went like that with his hands that's when I backed up and I pulled out my phone and I was like I'm calling the cops. And then I followed him all the way to the car. He was like you keep following me to my car I'm going to shoot you in your face. I was like well we going to see who gets to the gun first. And that's when the you know what I'm saying he started talking all crazy and they all started trying to surround me again that's when I backed off and started running towards my car. >> So at at any time while you were standing over there did you play the game with them at all? >> So he told me When when he said did she play the game he was like don't you he was like if you don't play the game I'll give you back your money. I was like no I don't want to play I was like no I don't want to play play games I was like why do you have to play games? He was like this is the point I said well I was trying to talk him out of doing whatever he wanted to But he was like just just hit the card. I was like no he was like just talk back. I was like why are you talking to me like Just you you got to have hands. I said why are you talking to me asking about my money like you're talking to me like that and I was like just play the game. He was like no I don't want to play and then the guy came up and he was like Bro This one right here. I thought I was like y'all together? And he was like no we ain't together like that. I was like y'all got to I was like y'all got to be together. So he was like he was like nah we ain't together. So I was like he said do I have a gun? >> No I don't know. No, we ain't talking about guns. Oh, so I was so I was like um I was like, "No, I'm not playing I'm not um playing the game." So, he was like, "Shorty, I'll give you whatever you want if you just pick a card. Pick a card and you'll get $2,000." I was like, "What why why do I got to pick a card?" He was like, "Shorty, pick one [ __ ] I'll pick first." And then the guy he picked a card and then that wasn't I guess that wasn't the card. So, he was like, "You tell me which one." I was like, "Uh I don't know. Probably that one." And then he was like, "Uh no, that's not it." And then the guy came back again. The guy with the dreads came back again. And he was like, This what he said. He said, "I'll put a I'll put a stack on the game." And I was like, "Y'all keep talking about a game. We're not going to play We're not going to play no games again." But the whole time they're all together. They all came together. I text him. I didn't play I didn't play the game with him, but I did pick a card once. I didn't give my money or 10 20s. >> Where where were you at? >> I text him. Same that's the same spot. You never >> Yeah, they said no. >> They said that's where he at. That's the guy She said he had a stack of money, too. Yeah, he has >> And when he said you could you could pick and pick which whatever card it read, I'll give you your money back plus 2,000. So, that's when the dude came in and picked. And then I was like, "Damn." He was like, "I think it's this one right here." But he had two guys distracting me. He had two other guys with him and they started playing. And then that's when I was like, "Damn, why you going to do me like that?" He was like, "Up, shorty. Your time's up. You lost." >> So, when he was standing over there told you to pick a card, is that what he said? >> Yeah, he he told me to pick a card once towards the end. He didn't He didn't approach me and say play a game. He didn't approach me and say none of that. He approached me about the game once I said give me back my empty money. And he was like, "Uh how talk we play a game and you get your money back plus more. >> So, we understand you're a victim, right? We We understand that. But, we're just trying to get to the bottom of everything.
