She she she say it was okay for you to take it? >> No. >> Okay. Yeah, that's a robbery. Um the other charge is uh murder. >> Murder? >> Yep. You mean charged with murder? >> Me? >> Yep. >> On August 11th, 2022, a dispute over relationship led to a deadly attack in Gwinet County, Georgia. Ashley Bokeanaggra had left her apartment. This phone recording shows the attack. Investigators recovered it later. The first responding officer had not seen it. >> Get off my Get off me. Get off my Get off me. >> Get off my Get off my hair. >> Get off my hair. >> Get off my hair. Get off me. >> Get off my hair. Get off me. >> You're going to get the [ __ ] off me. >> Get off my Get off me. Take her phone. Get off me. >> No. Get off. No. Get off. >> No. Take it. Take it >> and put it away. the phone. >> [ __ ] >> I will murder you. >> I will murder you. >> I will murder you. I will murder you. >> Yeah, we could do that. You done? You typing up? >> Yeah, I'm done. I'm like >> Ashley later left for the hospital with her fiance. That afternoon, an officer called her to hear her account. >> So, what's going on? So, are are you requesting to meet with me or did the nurse call in your behalf because they were required to? I just called up on behalf because >> So you do not want the police involved? >> Yeah, because like honestly it just all happened off fast. I can't even like >> So what happened? >> Well, I cuz right now it was my fiance's birthday. So I went to go run with my friends to go, you know, grab him the cake and stuff like that. So, I was outside waiting for my um Uber. I see these two females walking around. They look kind of iffy. Like they was like, you know, getting into something, but I didn't think anything of it. And then they started me. All I hear is um that she matches the description. And then out of nowhere, literally, they just came and attacked me. I don't know like or anything like that. So, you were saying that some two females has randomly attacked you and this is nothing to do with you sleeping with one of your employees. Just so you know, the police the police were called out there and we did respond because somebody that works at that apartment complex went and called in and we have already talked to both parties and they told us that she found out you were sleeping with her with her fiance. Y'all went outside and had words and y'all got into a mutual fight is what the information we have. Does that sound about right? >> Well, they got the wrong person because that's not what happened. What happened to me cuz I was literally on their way with my cat. So, unless they were looking for somebody or what, but sorry, keep talking. But yeah, that >> So, you don't know anything about that. You were outside waiting for a cat. Females randomly attack you for no reason. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Like literally that's what they said. She patches description. Literally that's exactly what I come up with. >> Okay. So you So you don't want the police involved. You want any you want anything documented? You say that you're outside waiting for a cab. Two black females came up to you and said that she matched the description. It was one black girl and one black, I don't know. >> Okay. >> I don't know. >> Okay. And then they they just randomly came up to you and said, "She matches the description." And and y'all started to mutually fight with each other or >> Oh, you coming at me? No, they literally came at me. Okay. >> I got you. >> And but once again, you don't want the police involved. You want You don't want anything documented. You just want to go about your way. Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah, pretty much. >> Okay. Uh, what kind of injuries do you have right now? >> Right now, my whole face. I got marks on my face. Mark on my arm. Um, my freaking leg pain. I got freaking cuts on my legs. Cuts on my back. >> Cuts on your legs in the back from what? Like, were y'all in the street doing it or were y'all on the grass or what? >> Literally, she literally got on top of me. The big girl got up off me freaking slapped on the floor, hit the back of my head, and she was literally sitting on me while she's laying on me. And then the other girl just out of me. >> Okay. And once again, you don't want anything done. You are all good. >> Yeah. Okay. >> So, you have cuts on your face and your back and your legs. You said Okay. And what's a good number to reach you at? >> If you enjoy our work and want to keep up with our latest videos, please subscribe to the channel. Now, let's get back to the footage. Ashley died that evening. Detectives spoke with her fianceé, Julian, to reconstruct the day. He had not witnessed the attack. >> What time did you receive the phone call? So yeah, I have a doorbell camera in my on my my front door. So she left the house around like 12. So this when she left she left at 12:41. That's when she went off to go get me a cake. At 12:48 12:41 at 107 she returned in pain >> for what time? >> At 107 she returned and she's hurting. >> 107 you said >> 107. So she called me when I was at work. She gave me a call at She called me at 10:05 while she was walking back home. >> At 105 she called me. >> Walking back home from where? >> Uh after it happened after she got jumped. She called me to let me know while she was walking back to the house. >> 105? >> At 10. So at 105 she called me. At 107 she got back home. So that's what I'm tell I'm like, "Hey, what happened? What happened?" Hold on. Hold on. She's climbing up the stairs. Hold on. She opening up the door. I just got jumped. So that's that. Then I get home. I get home at 144. We leave at 1:50 to go to the hospital. >> Who is that? That >> So I get home at 1:44. >> Who Who is that person? >> That's her. That's her. I got her dressed. That's her. She put her hair up. Um that was 1:50. We left to come to the hospital. >> That night, detectives returned to notify Stevens and Janine Gonzalez of Ashley's death. >> Hey. Hi. >> I'm Detective Carter with Gwak County Police. Oh, yes. >> Your internet. >> Yes. Hi. >> Hey, this is Detective Poppy. Dr. Poppy. >> Hi. Nice to meet you. >> We know that there was like an incident. >> Yeah. >> That happened earlier today. >> Has anyone called you about it since? >> No. Was somebody supposed to? >> Well, we just got another call about it. So, I guess the girl went to the hospital. >> Okay. >> And she died. >> She died. >> She's dead. So, but we know that there was like an altercation that happened beforehand >> and that was mutual and she came here. Yeah, we understand that. So, but we because of it >> wasn't going to kill anybody. I'm not that person. >> I get it. >> But because of that, we have to kind of talk to you guys and get a more formal statement. >> True. Okay. Um, wow. I'm so sorry about that. Um, that was not my intention. >> Um, I've been mentally going through a lot. Um, >> I have [clears throat] bipolar depression and I'm just going through a lot right now. And you know, I came here from up north um with my fianceé. That's him. >> Hey. >> I came here with my fiance. >> Yeah. Um so I came the sister. >> Um I came here with my fiance um to start a new life, buy a house, everything like that. And I never expected him to basically cheat on me with someone at the workplace. You know what I'm saying? So, we would like to get like a formal statement. So, we're going to ask that you come up to our headquarters and talk to us. >> It's just right up the street. >> Okay. All right. >> I hear kids. Is there someone else here that can >> There's someone here with them? >> Yeah. Okay. Were they Were they involved at all? >> No. >> Okay. All right. So, it was just you two guys. >> If you don't mind, if we could just get some shoes. It'll be quick. We'll be in and out. >> Okay. >> Huh? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. All we got to get all three you guys just to get like a formal statement. >> Okay. >> It don't matter what you're doing, right? >> Yeah. Well, we'll give you a ride. I will give you back too. So >> Oh, okay. No worries. One second. >> Mhm. >> We may want to talk to you a little bit more. >> But listen, >> we'll come back here and talk to you. I understand you got kids, so we'll just leave you here for now with your kids. Um, we're going to take her up and talk to her and your sister's going to go. >> So, just two cars and one more car. That's it. >> And then we'll go from there. Okay. >> Daniel, Steven's fiance and Janine's brother gave his account of the messages and Ashley's phone. >> All right. So, they had the altercation earlier this afternoon. >> Yes, sir. >> Which you don't know anything about? >> No. I was informed that while I was sleeping, she ran in my phone, took my phone, and yes, she she deleted the messages. I'm not even lie. She gave me back my phone. It was like seemed like it was untouched. >> Yeah. >> Text the woman said, "Hey, she she basically act like she was me." I know she probably I swear she probably still had the message as So, um she texted me and she was like, "Well, she act like she was me and she said, "Hey, my wife Um, she's not my wife, but she said that. I guess that's what she said when it came out her mouth. So, she kicked me out to come meet me. She used basically her her emotional the way she feels towards me to get her over here. >> And when she got her over here, >> call ahead and just take them over by your car. >> Just go ahead and take them over, please. >> We are. Hold on one second. So, then she came over. So, she asked her to come over. She was pretending to be you. >> Yes, ma'am. >> And then what? She fought her. She had to cuz the wave went out. But I literally woke up and was like, "All >> you say she fought her." Like >> she had to fight because they had to fight or get in the altercation because when like when I heard this like I literally woke up and I'm like what the heck? And all I hear is them yelling at my sister and her, you know, I guess like hype. >> So Ashley came here to your door >> because they took her phone. I guess she had they took her phone cuz I had to give it back. >> Oh, they took her phone. >> Yes. her >> cuz she was going to text I guess her and like you know she was pretty she was hurt so but she knocked I wake up and I'm like I'm like oh just knocking that door but I hear bickering so I'm like yo y don't hear this door I'm like what the heck I open the door and I just see and I just closed it immediately >> how did she look when you when she opened the door I'm not going to lie she >> up yeah Okay. I mean, >> when you say she, you're talking about Ashley. >> Yeah. >> And when you said they took her phone. >> Yeah. So they could text um so they could text her husband whatever she got. >> How did you Sorry. >> How do you know that they took her phone? Did she tell you? >> Yeah, she she knocked on the door and yelled, "Please, I just want my phone." And I was like, cuz I closed the door the first time cuz I'm like, "Wow, I just saw that." So I closed the door and I'm like, "What the is wrong with you?" It's never that serious. Like it's I told you what it is. Like the whole conversation, whatever. I explained myself. I was like, "Wow." And then all I hear is her knocking on me again. She was like, "Please, my phone." >> I was like, "Okay." I grabbed her phone. I She threw the phone to the wall. So I tried. So that's the only time I got to grab the phone. I grabbed the phone. >> When you say she threw the phone, he >> answer the phone to the wall. I try to grab it. And when she I grabbed the phone, I gave it back to her. And it was just I'm just I just gave her her stuff so she could go along. But >> did they fight again after that? Okay. >> But um like I said, I was so tired like I literally just woke up. It wasn't like a like I was waiting for them to come back after I knew what they were doing and I just woke up. Why >> did she talk to you about it afterwards? >> No. The only thing she said is why would you do this to me? And I told her like we we're not like the love the love interest is gone. everything. Like I told her this yesterday >> when she saw me walking with this girl. >> Then I stopped her. I was like, "You're not going to you're not going to fight her because of what we're going through. >> It's not it's not her fault." You know, >> you and Tanetta are having relationship problems already. >> Yeah. No, it's it's deep. Like it's deep. We got a kid and everything. So, it's like it's more I'm I go off of respect. I have a kid with you. I'm going to respect you regardless. But >> if I'm not with you, then I don't have to I don't have to like I don't I don't have to do that part and I can just take care of my kid and you need help, I'll help you. >> When when when you heard the knock and you opened the door, were did you see them physically fighting at that point? >> No, I opened the door and when she came to go to her, I was like, stop. Like I saw this woman and I'm like, oh no. >> So she was So Ashley was outside and and Antineta was inside. Yeah, she >> asked to knock her phone for her. >> So she had they had already fought and then they took her phone and then they were inside but she was knocking and nobody was opening the door cuz that's what woke you up. >> Yeah. That's what woke me up. I didn't even know anybody had left because I I work overnight so I tend to sleep at least towards the afternoon and then wake up at least I got a couple hours to do what I got to do. Take care of my son, feed him, whatever. And then I go back to work. It's just like that every day of my life. make up to work >> at police headquarters. Stevens was advised of her rights >> and then since because we are in like our headquarters we and there's a situation obviously it's serious. >> Um he does have to read you something but it's just so we can get everything that's going on. >> It's the same thing you always hear on TV if you want to watch cops or any of those movies with the cops. Yes, it's your warnings. Okay. So >> Sure. >> All right. So you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions and to have a lawyer with you during questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you before any questioning if you wish. If you decide to answer questions now without a lawyer present, you will still have the right to stop answering at any time. You also have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to a lawyer. Do you understand each of these rights I have explained to you? >> Mhm. >> Is that Yes. >> Yeah. I have these rights in mind. Do you wish to talk to us now? Um, well, I do want to speak with the lawyer just because of how sensitive the situation is. Um, I I will say that, you know, I don't go out looking to harm anybody. Um, that's not my intention. I do feel, you know, very remorseful about anything that has happened with that that young lady. Um, I'll also say that, you know, it wasn't my intention to even get into an altercation with her today. Um, she came over to my place of residence looking for my fiance. We argued, I was hit, we fought. Um, I feel really bad, but you know, I really I'm I don't know. I'm just, you know, it's just this is just too much. >> Okay. You okay? >> No, I'm not. I'm just, you know, I have kids. I I don't I don't know how to feel, man. I've been going through too much. >> Okay. So, you want to talk to a lawyer. So, what we're going to do is we stop at that point. We don't talk. All right. So, we're going to head out of here, but we just need you to wait in here. Okay. >> So, what's going to happen now? >> Um, I'm not sure yet. >> That's going to be up to detective aria. We still have a few more things we have to do, but if you need anything, just knock on the door. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. Will I be able to call my mom or anything? >> We we'll get to that. Yeah. >> In a separate room, Janine agreed to talk. Her account begins with the relationship and a meeting the night before the attack. >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions and to have a lawyer with you during questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you before any question if you wish. If you decide to answer questions now without a lawyer present, you'll still have the right to stop answering at any time. You also have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to a lawyer. Do you understand each of these rights I explained to you? >> Mhm. >> And having these rights in ma in mind, do you wish to talk to us now? >> Yeah. >> Yes. Um, yeah. So, just just go through basically since I wasn't there and I'm I'm playing catch up basically. So, what happened? >> So, like let me start to where it leaded. >> Okay. >> Oh, okay. So, like since I've been down here, they they haven't been on good terms. So, you know, arguments back to back. So, like we just came back from Florida like not too long ago from her mom's wedding >> and >> we left on bad terms with everybody cuz my brother got into a you know incident with her stepdad. >> So, ever since that happened and we left Florida, it just been rocky rockier. It's just been worse arguments. So, yeah. Sorry, I just cried. >> You're fine. >> You earlier. [laughter] Okay. So like you know they're arguing or whatever. So my brother him being a man cheats like always you know he's feeling less than he thinks it's okay to cheat. So you know he tells me so he tells me who is he cheating with and stuff. Now, me and my step sister, I mean, not my step sister, my sister-in-law. We're very close. Like, so close. Like, you understand? Like, she's more of a sister to me than my brother's a brother to me, you know? >> Yeah. >> So, like we're very close. So, once he told me, I was just like, "Oo, I want to tell her." [laughter] >> It's girl code, you know? >> Yes. Right. So, especially when right after he told her after he told me what what he was doing, he wanted to do it with her. So, I was just like, I'm about to tell her, so she won't do it with him. So, I let a few days go by cuz I wasn't sure. I didn't want to stir up the pot cuz I already know they had problems. >> So, I'm [clears throat] like, maybe it'll come to light before I have to say anything. Obviously, it did, but I still told her two days prior before this day. Um, we were just chilling. She was working and Daniel did something to her to make her upset. So, we were talking or whatever and I was just like, "Oh, I forgot to tell you." No, I didn't forget, but I still, you know, >> so I was like, "Um, tell her what happened." He explained, you know, cheated or whatever. She's like, "Oh, really?" And she's upset, whatever. I was like, "Don't tell him that you cuz he's going to be mad at me, >> right?" >> Okay. So, after that, um, he explained how the girl looked to me though. And, you know, you're a Puerto Rican skinny girl. So I was like, so then I explained it to. So the next day after that, we went to the store last night. Last night, >> we went to the store last night and we're walking to [ __ ] Trip. [ __ ] Trip is right there. You know, >> I know I saw you walking earlier. >> I thought that was [laughter] you guys. >> Okay. So we walked to Cook Trip. As we're walking to [ __ ] Trip, both of them are walking together from Quick Trip. So they're just now leaving and we're just now coming. So internet is like is that Daniel walking? So now she runs to him like who is this? So he's like oh it's my work or whatever whatever. Mind you before we walked to her trip we asked him when you go on your break can you take this to the store? He said you couldn't leave on this break. So when we stop walking it was like you just said you couldn't leave on your break. Now you walking with her to the store. So so she's upset now. you couldn't take me to the store and now you're walking with the girl that you just explained to me how she looked and she fit the description. >> So, you know, she's upset, didn't go arguing outside. So, we finally got her to calm down. We went inside the car and then oh, when when that happened, she she was like she was like, oh, basically trying to argue with cuz you know how attitude was. So, you know, she didn't want to seem a little softy in front of my brother. So, you know, >> arguing. And then she walked away. I went to her and I was just like, "Listen, the problem." I explain I explained to her the problem cuz I guess she was I don't know if she was his manager or the coworker. I don't know. But I explained to her the problem or whatever. And I let her know like that's my brother and um you're basically the you fit the description of the girl that he was cheating on. what her with. So yeah, that's why it's a problem now. And she's like, "Oh, what that got to do with me?" Act like she was she was my brother went. We know. So um after that the um he went home. They weren't very good. They didn't go to sleep till like a good 10:00 a.m. in the morning. So after that, she's kicking Daniel or whatever. She don't want to live with him no more. It's either he going to leave or she's going to leave. And you know, she got to leave the kids, everything. So it would make sense if he just left. So he's getting kicked out, whatever. And then I guess I guess she was coming to see him cuz he was getting kicked out. I don't know. I wasn't know messages. I'm not sure what's that, but I guess she was coming to see him cuz he was getting kicked out. And it's not all the messages. So, she decides like, "Yeah, now she's about to come see you. Now I'm about to beat her up cuz I just you you just saved me from her the other day." No, you know, that's how it was. So, she's coming. So Antoneta and me, we go to we go and she comes to the house, you know, big fight. It's big fight. So, uh, after the fight, um, we took her phone. We were going to call her husband to let her know that, you know, just to th all that. She woke up Daniel. Daniel was Daniel was like, "What the whatever." So then um Oh, okay. So we closed the door. She started banging on the door like crazy cuz you know we got her phone. She wants her phone back. >> Yeah. So Daniel gave her her phone back and then I don't know what happened after Oh, she gave her phone back. literally like she left right after I I don't know what I don't know how she left like I wasn't watching after that cuz my brother was mad as and you know he don't want me in the business I was already in it too much so he's like oh I'm just like okay >> so I don't know what happened after she left but literally right after she left a third party called the police they came you know made a report and then after that it was over whatever or and then just know you guys came. Yeah, that's that's all I know. >> When you guys uh fought, how long did that fight last? >> Uh 3 2 minutes. >> Okay. >> Yeah, it was it was early. >> But um so what happened in the fight that she she hurt you? I see some scratch mash on her neck. Do I I don't No, I don't think No, she didn't hurt me. >> No. What happened? >> No, it wasn't no jumping. I didn't know. >> Oh, >> so tell tell us about that. Like, how did that happen? It >> was very vivid. She It happened so bad. You know, bites are just like a blur when it happens. But >> where was she? I know you said you you said earlier she came looking for him. >> She She came because he was moving. He was getting kicked out and she wanted to be a little writer. >> Mhm. M when she knows she was sex and she got a husband at home with a girl. >> I know she's breaking up a happy home, but where was she at? Like, >> no, she has a husband as well. >> Yeah, I know. But where was she at? >> Um, what do you mean? >> You said she came and look for him. Where was she at? How did y'all How did y'all make contact with her? >> Through messages like just like, you know, we seen her. >> But where did you meet up? >> She was She was in our complex. I guess she lives like right near us. >> Mhm. Like I think like there's like two sides of the complex. You know that hill? >> Yeah. >> It goes around and like when it goes up and around there's another complex that looked just like the same side. [clears throat] >> So does she knock on the door at first or you guys just saw her outside? >> Outside. She didn't she didn't knock. She didn't get the chance to. >> Okay. >> Cuz like oh you got coming. I'm about to be around. So yeah. Do >> you guys start yelling at her before you guys approached her or how' that go down? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Tell us about that. It wasn't really all [ __ ] It was just like, "Yeah, and you came to see and then it was just fighting after that." She knew what it was cuz she she got ready to, you know, and it was just fighting. >> Who was fighting? >> Um, the girl. >> Everybody? >> No. >> Girl, you ain't getting on. >> No. Yeah, >> of course you did. I think you did. >> Just just just a little bit. >> You got cuz like you said, that's your home girl. Yeah, just that's Yeah, >> tell me about that. How that happened? >> I didn't I didn't go I didn't go crazy though cuz she's small as like >> you're you're enough already. I don't need to be punching her, dragging her. I don't need to do all of that. I'm good. >> I give my little hit in and then that's it. I'm going >> Where'd you get it in? >> Um I don't know. [clears throat] I know. I know. I hit her though. >> Like in the beginning she got on the floor and I kind of like dragged her just a little bit. >> Just a little bit. And then and then I and then I stopped. I was just like >> it's hard. The adrenaline's going, you know, you got to >> Yeah. I was just like, "Okay, let me stop." And then they're just fighting and Yeah. Just just a little hit. So I didn't really fight her. That's just crazy. >> What made it stop? >> I don't know. I don't know. That's a weird question. I I have no idea. >> Like she like was she saying anything or Ashley? I mean, >> cuz you you just I never I never out of all fights I've been in, I never saw somebody talk during a fight. Like, why you going to be up? >> Mhm. >> I never never miss somebody. >> What was she saying? >> She was just like, she was just, you know, talking. Oh, isn't true. That's why he's like that out in the air. And then like it was just such a weird fight. Like she was just like she just was kept on talking. Then she was like, "Aren't you his sister?" And it was just laughing outside. It was just weird. She was she was a weird person. Never. I was like, "Okay." Yeah. >> So, how did you guys get her phone? >> Um, she when when we was fighting, she had her phone in her hand. >> Mhm. >> I don't know who postes up with their phone in their hand. If I'm about to fight, I'm dropping I'm dropping everything. >> Show you that right now. >> Mhm. But it was on the floor. She said, "Grab the phone." I grabbed it. And then Yeah, it was in our house. >> You said she said, "Grab the phone." >> Yeah. >> Anthony said, "Grab the phone." >> Yeah, I grabbed it. >> Okay. >> When she was um talking back while she was getting beat up, like, how'd that make you feel with the stuff that she was saying? >> Like, I ain't care. >> How did you guys How did you guys find the messages again? >> His phone. >> Okay. Did you find it or did she find it? >> She found it. >> Answ. >> Okay. How did she like Where were you at? Did you come How did that happen? >> Um she came to me. We're reading the messages and we were like, "Yeah, that's the girl that's that we just saw." Yeah. Yeah. >> Did you guys text her? >> What do you mean? Did you guys send messages to her? >> No, we don't got her number. >> No, I mean from his phone. >> Oh, from his phone? >> Mhm. >> No, I don't think so. No. >> Okay. >> Mhm. >> You sure? >> Yeah, >> cuz you you messed up your story a little bit. I already read the messages. You messed up a little bit. >> What was the messages? >> He wasn't getting kicked out. >> Oh, yes, he was. Mm- >> I don't know. What the hell? I I didn't I only saw the messages where he was cheating. So, I'm not sure if anybody texted her. You >> sure? You know. Yeah. >> So, Antonet just sent the message. >> I'm positive myself. I'm positive. But yeah, I don't know if there's any messages sent to that lady cuz I I can't say I didn't know if there's messages sent. But >> you were with her when she was have come. >> You were still with her when she was texting her. I know you guys were sending messages. She already told us you guys were texting her. >> Yeah, but I don't know what said. >> So, she was just texting her. >> That's why I said we were getting kicked out. I don't know what was said. >> So, you didn't send the messages. She just sent the messages. >> Yeah, cuz I don't know what was said in those messages. But I know from seeing him argue, he was getting kicked out in the scenario. Wasn't no messages. So, yeah. >> Okay. So, you didn't see no messages answer when I just told you about it. And then that's when I was texting her. >> I saw the messages where he was cheating. >> What did those say? >> Oh, I'm feeling you, falling for you like that, hurting each other messages. >> And that's when Antinette showed those she showed those to you and that's when she started messaging her. >> Yeah, she showed those to me [clears throat] >> and then she started messageing her. >> Antonette sent the message to Ashley. Oh. Yeah. I guess. >> Did she tell you what she was sending? >> Did like the word? No. I don't know what she said. >> You mean you had to know something? You knew she was on fire. >> But I Yeah, I did know she was outside. Of course I knew she was outside cuz if she about to go fight, I'm coming with her. See? >> So, you knew it happened before? Before we actually happened, cuz you guys talked about it. >> What do you mean? Do you want to go outside and fight her? >> Um, yeah. Yeah, we did talk about fighting her. >> Like we've been we was talking about it the night we saw them together and then it led to that. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. >> And you guys did it by messaging her through your brother's phone. Yeah. >> So, she didn't know that you guys were going to go and fight her. >> Well, I don't know what was said of those messages. Like I said, I wasn't the one texting, but I know pretty sure she took to her to to come fight. So, yeah. You sure it was text messages just a fight or was it something else? >> I don't know. >> You don't know. You don't want to tell us. You're been honest this whole time. It's fine. She'll be straight up. >> You're smart. That was a smart move because you know if you text say come over I'm going be she's not going to come over like that. >> You know how you y'all were smart. Y'all finessed out of that girl. Of course she she know that if we was to stay No, she was going to come fight regardless to be honest cuz she told us to meet her off the clock or whatever at 5:00 a.m. day. I said don't come that if we come he's going to get fired this that and so we didn't fight her that night. >> But earlier in the day she didn't know that she was walking into a fight. Yeah. >> Now she's dead. >> I know. Crazy. Do you know how she died? Like >> from fighting >> the injuries of her death. So >> they have to do an autopsy, but it was it was a result of her uh the injury she sustained during the fight. Crazy. How does it make you feel? >> Make you feel like I'm going that I'm not going to lie. >> Yeah. Like that's really crazy. Life is crazy. >> Mhm. >> Like she's not a big girl. >> No, she isn't. That's why that's why I didn't want to jump. She She's too small. I said I I looked at her and I'm just like, "How old are you?" She told me she was 30. I'm like, you're you're like you're very small for your age to be 30. Like she looked sick, skinny. So that was cool. I was like, nah, >> I heard she was up. >> I don't know. >> Damn. So, he said when I opened the door, I saw her. I was like, and I slammed the door cuz she was up. >> Yeah, he did do that. He did do that. He did do that. He did do that. He did do that. >> He said he was shocked cuz I didn't I don't know cuz I really I really didn't see her after that. Like they had me sitting in the back cuz they was on so I didn't see none of that. But I know they was at the door arguing for that phone. >> Mhm. >> So you say when she was on the ground you stomped her? >> I never said that. >> I heard you say you stomped her. >> I never No, I never said that. >> What What did you do when she was on the ground? >> Said So I pulled her hair. pull the hair. >> Yeah. And I was just like, "No." >> He said you got a few little licks in. >> Mhm. >> Mhm. >> He doesn't know what licks mean. >> You got to tell him. >> Oh, few kids. >> You got yours. >> Yeah. >> Trying to ruin break up your family. Sure that made you upset. >> No, >> I wasn't upset. By early morning, detectives were explaining the charges. These were the initial charges, not the eventual convictions. >> So, is there a reason why I'm being charged with the fight when she fought me and I fought back? >> I know you said you wanted to talk to a lawyer. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> So, that's why because I'm speaking to a lawyer. >> No, no, no, no, no. It's just I'm going with what um story, what everything I have. All right. And when will I be able to see a judge? Are you are you do you know probably tomorrow >> inside? We can't we can't leave just yet. >> Okay. >> Um we'll ask the officer transporting, but he he may just want to just go and drop you guys off and >> Oh, so where is my sister-in-law going? >> Same place you were >> to adult jail. >> Yes. >> But why is she going if she didn't even find? Okay. So, I just want to clarify. It's egg battery, >> robbery, >> robbery, >> and murder. Okay. That's going to be your three your three charges. >> Mine? >> Yes. And hers as well. >> What did I rob? >> The cell phone. >> Jeez. >> All right. Just hang tight a couple more minutes. All right. >> Okay. >> So, you clear on your charges? >> Yeah, I guess. >> Yeah. It's robbery. >> Robbery? What? Robbery? >> Yeah. >> We didn't steal her phone. We took it so she could come to the house. >> Oh, you took it. >> Yeah, she got she got her phone back. >> I told you she wasn't leaving unless she got We gave her back her phone. We just did it so we could call her husband, but we changed her mind. >> Okay. >> Gave the phone to Daniel. She got her phone back. >> She She say it was okay for you to take it? >> No. >> Okay. Yeah, that's a robbery. Uh, the other charge is uh murder. >> Murder? >> Yep. You mean charged with murder? >> Me? >> Yep. >> Whoa. That's That's That's too bad. >> That's deep, right? >> Yeah. Do you have any questions for me? >> No, actually. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Anyone or anything? You still good? >> Um, actually, what's up with Antonetta? >> What's it? >> What's up with Antetta? >> Oh, you're going to see her, too. You guys are going to >> Okay. And then we're going to jail in these clothes. >> Uh, they'll give you clothes when you get there. Okay. Yeah, you'll be fine. >> Georgia's prison records later listed convictions for voluntary manslaughter and robbery by force with 20ear sentences. Those differ from the murder charges announced that night.
