On the afternoon of December 11th, 2025, in unincorporated Lake Villa, Illinois, officers responded to reports of a violent assault on a 72-year-old woman. When police arrived, they found the suspect, 53-year-old Kristy Tyler, outside her home, still holding the victim's American flag taken during the incident. 42, Kristy, in custody. Allegedly, after attacking a 72-year-old woman, the suspect took her American flag and ran down the street. But officers weren't done with Kristy yet. During her arrest, she made a series of unusual statements, claiming she was acting under divine guidance and a higher purpose. All right. Hey, Kristy. What are you doing? And then she's been poisoning my dogs in the backyard, putting like poisonous mushrooms. This witchcraft stuff. You've got to believe me. Donald J. Trump knows everything. Investigators later confirmed that Kristy had no prior disputes with her neighbor and that the attack appeared completely unprovoked.
