Shephard now faces four counts of aggravated battery of an emergency worker and two counts of resisting a peace officer for the May 4th incident. The additional complaint for criminal damage to property stems from the alleged restroom damage at the hospital. In that prior case from March 2023, she had been charged with resisting a peace officer causing injury and DUI. She was released without posting any money on bond in that case. For the new charges, a $40,000 bond was set and she remains held in the Mckenry County Jail. A status hearing is scheduled for July 18th. Before you go, we want to hear your thoughts.
