The incident began around 11:30 a.m. on Gunhill Road near Hill Avenue after the gunman got into an altercation inside the store with a 29year-old man carrying a knife. Surveillance footage shows the 29-year-old stabbing the gunman before attempting to flee in a white Lexus with the gunman opening fire at point blank range. Don't move. >> Move. A Bronx man has been charged in a shooting that took place in Albany around 4:00 a.m. at Madison Park near Pyison's Pizza on Ontario Street. Two individuals exchanged gunfire at point blank range, leaving one person injured while the other fled. Officers quickly responded from the nearby police athletic league facility and the victim, Shake Dara, who was shot in the abdomen, was charged with reckless endangerment in criminal possession of a weapon. Residents and business owners say they've had enough of the ongoing violence.
