On September 24th, 2025, an officer with the Fair View Heights Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Old Collinsville Road near the intersection with Frank Scott Parkway. The officer made a passenger side approach to make contact with the stopped motorist when all of a sudden his cruiser is rearended by another pedestrian. [Applause] [Applause] Forever you want 187. Based on the statements made to the officers, Kajian L. Jennings was detained and the Illinois State Police took over to conduct a further investigation. Upon reviewing the facts of the investigation, the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office charged Jennings with the following. Count one, criminal damage to government property. Count two, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. count, three, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon count, four, aggravated assault with a motor vehicle. All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
